One of my all time favourite restaurants in Oakville! My favourite dishes are the Catalunia Pizza, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, the Nove sandwich, the Calabria Sandwhich, and the Goat Cheese Salad. I highly recommend you try this.

Love everything about this place. Great atmosphere, inventive and very filling sandwiches. While sandwiches are definitely the specialty, the also have salads, pizza and desserts. One of my favorite restaurants. Parking: The store itself has about 10 spaces for paid parking on the street and is also near a Green P lot. You can also park further down the side street for free.

The food is delicious and justifies why this place gets very busy for chilly Saturday late mornings We tried the pesto pollo pizza and pulled pork sandwiches which were excellent. The alsacian chicken sandwich was nice but could use some more flavor. Coffees were delicious! Space is a bit cramped as tables are set elbow distance apart

I seldom leave bad reviews, but my experience here today was pretty awful. I was visiting Oakville and wanted to have lunch with my dad. This place was quite busy so I thought we would check it out huge let down. I had the Cesar salad with scallops and shrimp and would never order this again. The scallops were the teeny tiniest scallops I ve ever seen, the salad was SMOTHERED in dressing (had I known would have asked for it on the side) and the crostini it came with was hard a rock. My dad had the burger of the day and the burger bun was also extremely tough, burger was highly underwhelming in terms of taste and texture and lastly was smothered in sauce ( mayo/pesto). I will say the portion sizes are very generous but if your meal is not at all Tasty this is just.. sad. Not to mention the server never once came to offer us water, a glass, not even ice (I ordered a Diet Coke) or to ask how our meal was. I tipped at the beginning as I would never not tip a server, however; over all was very disappointed. I hope you guys can improve in future.. doubt I will eat here again.

Overall, not really worth the price Problems you could fix: Sandwiches and soup too expensive, take a dollar off some menu items, or serve your customers water Potato and leek soup, way too much seasoning Tomato based clam chowder, not great, can you really call it a clam chowder? Had the Santa Fe Eggs, thank you. Delicious salad, perfect eggs, but prepackaged hollandaise sauce, which I expected to be homemade here. Also, no quality check which was either rude or just an oversight. Thank you.

Its busy and it can take a while for a server to check on you, but the people are friendly and the food is incredible. Really some of the best sandwiches Ive ever eaten. From the balsamic chicken to the Philly cheesesteak, it was all delicious. The butternut squash and pear soup were great as well. Only wish they gave more crustini to dip in it.

Stoneys Bread Company is an institution. Not the other locations, just this location. I have been going to Stoneys since 2007 and it has never disappointed. The food is always good but you need to know what you want BEFORE you get to the front of the line. Lunch and weekend brunch line ups can be killer but they move you through quickly so that everyone gets a chance to sit down and enjoy the meal. My go to favourite - the pulled pork sandwich, pizzas and pastas are a hit as well. Weekend brunch - you have to have the Santa Fey or Key West Eggs

Great spot. Excellent food & presentation. A little pricey, but portion size and quality are high enough to justify. I usually get the Nove sandwich. Great salads, soups, and pizzas as well (my mom and I will split a pizza here as they are quite big). I Havent tried there brunch or dinner menus before. My schedule is flexible so I go on off-times weekdays for lunch- definitely gets busier on peak times and weekends-- I hear the brunch is very good which would not surprise me. Service is good, friendly staff, although it is a order at the front first place (fine with me, but may not be as convenient to some) still highly recommended to try for yourself, one of my go-to spots when Im in the area. Chicken sandwich was very underwhelming. Ive been coming here for years and its always been consistent and reliable for a good meal. Chicken wasnt seasoned and had no flavour. Brie portion was ridiculous and small. Same for the apple slices. Something has changed and Im not going back. For what you get the food is too expensive and there are much better alternatives now. Service was slow. New chaira take up too much space. Avoid.

Stoneys has been around for many years and there is a reason why for that. All their food is very fresh and full of flavor, always with freshly baked bread. The coastal mountain pizza is definitely one of our favorites. Or you cant go wrong with one of the many excellent sandwiches. Its usually a pretty busy spot during peak times so ordering ahead or having it delivered is ideal if youre not prepared to wait.

I used to like this place the vegetables sandwich was so delicious. But unfortunately this time we went it was so burned that it was not possible to enjoy it everything fel apart. What a disappointment!

Seriously good food, expertly prepared and presented. The flavourful combinations worked very well and the service was friendly and helpful. Definitely returning to this little gem in Oakville.

Food seemed alright (I only ordered toast) but the service is awful you have to pay for and are expected to tip prior to any service.... of which there is none I had to ask for both my coffee and orange juice after they brought my food and never got a refill for my coffee... garbage service and scummy business practice asking for the tip prior to service

Weve lived in Oakville for almost 20 years and had never made it to Stoneys. We knew it was always busy and hard to get into, so it must be good. Stopped in on a weeknight. Was completely caught off guard by the service. You order your food then find a table. Cool. Ordered soup and sandwiches. They were phenomenal. Would have shared both had we known how large the portions were. Leftovers for next day!!

My friend and I came in for a bowl of soup. It wasn t busy, we came in around 7:45pm. Ordered our soup and paid. We were given a number for the table and we sat down. We waited until 8:25, and we had not received our soup, we decided to leave. On the way out my friend asked how long it would be for the soup, only to find out it was in a taurine on the counter the whole time. I was very disappointed so I just left. I didn t even want to get a refund. I hope they use my funds to treat the next customer better.

It was a great moment in a cozy location of this restaurant. We chose the most popular foods and picked our drink from fridge to enjoy a traditional culture of restaurants. The only required improvement is that tables are too close to each other so it is hard to seat back to back.

Im not a big fan of the ordering concept, but whatever works for you. Tried the clam chowder and was really disappointed. It was more like a tomato soup (not a fan!) Also had the Philly cheese steak sandwich. If not for the unseasoned low-grade beef with some big chunks that I had to put to the side, it would have been a great sandwiche. Will give it a second chance. I guess they just messed up my order. My wifes food was great! My favorite thing overall was the bread 10/10!!! Kid-friendliness: The usal kids menu

The blackened chicken sandwich is so good. Best in the area. I can t believe it took me so long to try this. The cheese and avocado pairs so well with the chicken. It was scrumptious. Can t wait to be back.

Food was great and the staff were so friendly the only complaint I have was one of the chef s was BRUSHING AND FINGER COMBING HIS BEARD?!? he then proceeded to continue to cook and NOT WASH HIS HANDS!! I was truly disgusted and put off of it eating I didn t seen any hairs in my food thankfully but I m shock that he s allowed to do that. But other than that it s a pretty good place

I went with my friends for the first time, the place is amazing, food is delicious. Veggie sandwich, summer special is a must try.

Portion size is very hefty. Couldn t finish but it was a good meal. Their vinaigrette is particularly yummy. Good fresh ingredients for a satisfying meal.

The Americana is my favourite pepperoni pizza in Oakville. Salad and sandwich portions are massive and super tasty, especially the Caesar and Salmon quinoa

The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the portions are big one dish is a whole meal. That being said the food really lacks in flavour. The sandwich was very greasy and the salad was flavourless. I don t understand how this restaurant is so busy and has been around for so long. I would save myself a sore belly and go eat elsewhere.

The slow roasted lamb sandwich is an amazing sandwich It is THE BEST item on the menu. I would highly recommend this restaurant just for trying this one sandwich. The service is always quick and professional. Your order is taken at the counter, and then you go sit down and they will.bring the food to you. You can also ask for take out. But its just not the same as eating it fresh.

The only complaint is the price. They are a little expensive for what they are. But I do think that they are worth it. The lamb sandwich is good. The salmon salad is also worth trying. Quaint little place. I like them. Food : 5/5

Would suggest they update their uber menu with meal descriptions. I ordered fettuccine chicken. Thats what I expected(the fairly typical fettuccine chicken). I wasnt expecting it to be made with curry seasoning or asparagus or mushroom etc based on the description on uber.

So we stood in line n ordered n then was give a table , the coffee already cold n cakes came after 20 min , and food came after almost 35 min , it wasn t a full house , the waiters did their job mundanely , food portions were good but average in taste and quality ! Family has been ordering catering from this place for years now. The chicken marsala is delicious. Comes with yummy vegetables, and mashed potatoes.

We ordered daily burger and slow roast lamb sandwiches which were tasty, juicy and delicious. The vibe was super cozy and quiet as well as friendly. The only unpleasant comment was the food preparation timing. It took almost 30 minutes to get the sandwiches. Considering it was not rush time (2pm), it was not acceptable. Other than that, everything was great and definitely recommend this place.

First time in last night. We had two of the daily pasta specials. And the rosemary crusted pork sandwich. Be careful, this sandwich is messy but the taste is fantastic. Unique business format and worth more visits for the wonderful food. The lamb sandwich is on my list for the next visit.

This place has recently changed ownership with HUGE glaring changes in food quality, service and many other areas of concern. We had been formerly long time customers, pretty much since day one. We certainly wont be coming back ever again and the good times we had in the place will remain memories from this day on. Terrible tasting food that literally took over 45 minutes to get to the table. Three very simple meals, one that was a salad. Had to ask for water, cutlery, standard items that should already be on the table prior to customer arrival. Prices are also up 10 to 15%... GOODBYE STONEYS! NOT RECOMMENDED, for any reason! Vegetarian options: Menu changes... Less options, terrible tasting food! Parking: Parking remains the same. The staff park in the private parking spaces owned by other building tenants. Classless.

We have been coming here since they opened many years ago . We are always greeted with a smile and respect. The food is so so so good !! They just recently changed the tables and seats and it s so comfortable now and is not cramped anymore . Four stars for service as we need to order at the counter but food still gets delivered . I do recommend this place to anyone ! It s a must visit

Always a great choice. I love everything about this place. The food is fresh and made on-site. The service is friendly, warm and comforting. The prices compared to portion size make it affordable. It is easy to recommend Stoneys. I have been visiting for over 15 years (mainly eating the same sandwich) and I have never had a complaint. If you are a brunch lover I recommend you visit on a Sunday and give it a try. Parking: There is metered parking as well as a parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Just ask for the kids pizza and you wont regret it.

Wow, was the food good. I got the curry chicken sandwich, and it was delicious, but holy crap it was busy in there. The seating is very tight and kind of makes you feel uncomfortable, but other than that, I had a great time, but the location needs a good clean, and the ceiling fans are disgusting. I would come back and try something else, but I doubt I will eat in.

We ordered calabria and slow roasted lamb sandwiches. Both were very delicious. They confirmed that their chicken is halal and lamb is New Zealand sourced so that s halal too as all export lambs from NZ are halal.

The sandwiches are served on delicious fresh bread with amazing fresh ingredients and there is always a list of daily specials to temp you from the regular menu. Stoneys can get busy because its one of the best places on Oakville to grab a bite and the locals all know how great it is.

Food was amazing, having to order first then sit kinda takes away from being bake to go thru the menu calmly but the food was good.

We had the pasta. One of thw coldest days, so even with food being yummy. We were a bit cold. Every time the door opened, a cold draft would come in. They need to look into that for winter days.

Always great food and my first time ordering to go and it was a smooth experience. Came during the week mid afternoon, and it was packed inside but things were moving well even for those that chose to stay and dine in.

Best sandwiches in Ontario by far.

The food from here is really really good. Love their house burger and sandwiches. Perfect for a lunch out or good dinner in Oakville. Have ordered from here too and they do a great job with everything. Definitely one of my favourite spots in the city of Oakville.

Best Fettuccine Chicken in the town. We also tried the Salmon salad. It is very good, too. Daily burger and Pesto Pollo Pizza are ok, just a bit dry. Customers have to order the food in counter before taking the seats. You may have to self-service a bit. The staff are still very efficient and willing to help you. Food

Sunday brunch is great. Only issue I have is no refills on coffee. Seems pretty standard for a breakfast place. Not giving out refills seems archaic.

Ordered a chicken sandwich from here about 5-6 months ago which was completely raw so I showed them and they refunded me. Decided to give it another chance today - ordered a chicken sandwich and once again parts of the chicken were raw/undercooked. They were very busy but there is just no excuse for undercooked meat that you can t even bite into without your teeth getting stuck. Will not be going back and do not recommend to anyone.

Walked in the front door and its very confusing since you have to walk all the way to the back to order your food then sit down once you get it. Ordered the blackened chicken sandwich. Chicken breasts were over cooked, literal dry bricks of meat. So dry and not flavourful because of it. Couldnt even eat half of the sandwich. Personal preference: Clam chowder here was tomato based and just found out some people like it like this. I prefer the white version.

For many years Ive been getting food from stoneys as take out. The food has always been excellent and large portions. Good value for the money. Today my wife and I decided to eat in. . What a disappointing experience. The place was busy but a few tables available. My wife went to place our oder, and I went to sit at one of the free tables. A female server approached me and said I could not sit until I place my order and received a number. I pointed to my wife who was placing our oder at the till, she was the only person in line. She said I couldnt sit there until I hada number. Since this seemed unreasonable I sat at the table to wait for my wife to return. A male server then approaches me and make the same statement. At this point my wife is approaching our table with number in hand. I then asked this male server to get me the owner. The owner came and I explained what had transpired. I said I can understand why there would be such a policy, but also common sense should prevail. He was apologetic and said this was a good teaching moment for his staff. Our table was never wiped down, bu I noticed others were after people sat down. I hope that this is a one off and that no one else experience this. It ruined my lunch experience. I will skip eating in from now on.

Eight of us went on Saturday. The food was good, I had the grilled chicken sandwich. It was very tasty. But, it would ve been nice if there was some sort of a side i.e. olives, pickles, carrots and celery, coleslaw , salad, fries, something to go on the side, $20+ for just a sandwich is pretty steep. The restaurant was so smoky that my eyes were burning it made it very uncomfortable, as well as people sitting towards the middle of the restaurant were freezing cold, because there is no storm door and they kept the door propped open near the kitchen because it was so smoky. Creating a frigid wind tunnel. Definitely not a dinner vibe. Also, the order format waiting in line is weird it s essentially fast food place I would not recommend for dinner with a group. Maybe a quick lunch. In the spring or summer definitely not the winter!!!

Had an excellent meal here. The food was wonderful and the service very attentive. It is a very casual atmosphere where you order at the counter and then take a number to your table for food delivery. Wonderful selection of sandwiches, salads, pizzas, beer, wine, cold drinks. Will certainly return.

Went for a brunch, enjoyed the pistachio cheesecake. The soup of the day (pear and butternut squash) tasted primarily like pear. The highlight was the eggs florentine! Overall enjoyed the ambiance and the brunch experience.

Ive been to Stoneys multiple times for business lunches and personal outings and the food and atmosphere has always been exceptional. My favourite is the blackened salmon sandwich that always tastes fresh and vibrant. Highly recommend trying this place out for some quality food! Food

Amazing place for a cozy, family lunch. We were a group of 8 people and everyone ordered different types of dishes and each one was great. Their blackend salmon was really nice and a big good portion. I ordered a pasta dish and it was delicious and had a really nice portion as well. Overall a very family friendly place. Highly recommended.

Food was good. Format is to order foot at the counter and then wait in line until a table becomes available and they deliver meal. Very busy at lunch on a weekday. Service was good. I would come back.

The food here is so good and the dining room so mobbed that I hesitate to recommend this place for fear of never getting a table again. I usually order the Grilled Chicken Caesar salad, which is both enormous and delicious but then, so are the pizzas, the soups of the day and the fantastic coffee (among other things!) If youre longing for well-prepared, tasty dishes and can put up with waiting in line and the din of excited conversation in the background, then by all means, get over here!
