Decent place for a beer, wouldnt go specifically for the food. An interesting item i wanted to mention was the famous wings $19 for 10. It is amazingly small, the size of AA battery. Edit: no it wasnt convenient, I went out of my way to get the battery and was actually a hassle.

What an amazing place! My friend and I came for a lunch and our spectacular server hannah was on point! She was the only server at the time with semi full restaurant and she always was attentive and never neglected us! We got the maple bacon brie to start and it was delicious! I would recommend maybe a plain crostini instead of garlic crostini as it clashed with the flavour of the brie. I got the birria tacos and they were to die for. Kudos to the chef. I recently visited Oakville pump and Patio and food was amazing.But had a disappointing experience due to the behavior of one of the waitstaff. The waiter, who introduced herself as Heather, was unprofessional and rude throughout our interaction, which was upsetting.

This is one of our favourite local hang outs. Tonight we hosted a special event there and it was beyond our expectations. Thank you to Monica and Thomas and the whole team.

Great atmosphere and food good quality. I still find it quite expensive for food (drinks are reasonable) and of course thats their prerogative but its really excellent other than that. A couple of visits have had really slow service over the last few months so Im just changing the service rating to be only 3 star.

Havent been in a long time as we moved out of the neighborhood. Natasha was very good , no complaints there whatsoever. $21.00 before tax and tip for a 9 ounce middling( at best ) Chardonnay is way over the top . Sadly the fries are not even close to what they used to be , why cant restaurants figure out how to present good fries? Urinal in the mens washroom stunk of urine! These are all things in the control of the restaurant , the price of a glass of wine, the quality of the Fries and the state of the Washroom. This is how busy, popular places start to show their complacency . Sad to see , hopefully you take these comments to heart .

Came for a quick bite while out with my family and had a good time. Food arrived quickly and was tasty, but the highlight was our server Ali! She was great with my toddler, a generally bubbly person, and always present in the event we needed anything. I d put her in the top 10% of all the servers I ve ever encountered. I frequent the Clarkson pump and patio (which is also great) but my friend and I decided to try this one. Claire was an excellent server and super friendly. The taco special was a good value and patio is really nice too. I ll be back for sure

Had dinner on a Friday evening, family of three, and ordered cauliflower bites as an app. Definitely not worth the price of $19, portion size was very small, won t order again. Rest of the meal was good.

We arent big fans of the sports bar atmosphere, but the food makes up for it. We were a bit hesitant because often a menu with the breadth of Pumps doesnt also result in high quality for individual dishes. Definitely not the case here. We each had something different across the range of their menu - a salad, fish fry, a pizza, and steak frites. Every dish was well-executed and tasty.

Nice outdoor patio, even though its in a strip mall. Above average food. Expensive drinks. Rated three stars because Im gluten-free and I ordered a gluten-free pizza and I was sick a couple of hours after leaving. Management sent me a very standard note saying oh well, well try to do better. Seems like they dont take gluten-free very seriously. When you spend $90 for lunch for two you expect better. If youre not gluten free, I highly recommend it. Dietary restrictions: Several gluten-free options, but ask a lot of questions as they made me sick in my last visit.

We LOVE our neighborhood Pump! We spend many nights watching hockey, soccer, and baseball games here. The chicken tenders are fantastic. The wings are SO GOOD. The Nashville Chicken sandwich is amazing as well. Fantastic, friendly, helpful staff. TVs everywhere for the game and a beautiful, huge patio. They even allow dogs on their patio, call ahead to arrange that, however. Great pickup & delivery options too.

Renovations have turned this Oakville staple into a nice night out for dinner, celebrations, and sports watching. The patio is especially impressive!

A solid 3.5/5. Would go back if I had to, but would never crave it and probably never go back by choice. The appetizers were amazing: the brie and the grilled calamari. But the main entrees were so mediocre. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the steak. Friendly staff and decent atmosphere.

I hate writing reviews but yesterday was incredibly frustrating that I need to. I ve been a long time customer of the Pump & I visit at least once a week for food with my partner. However last night, was the first time I was highly disappointed with the service. We sat down on the patio last night & we sat there for almost 10 minutes without a single server to come up & greet us. I was very close to just getting up & leaving until a server came by & apologized for the wait. About 3 different servers saw us & made eye contact & never came to greet us or offer us drinks. This was so frustrating to deal with as the restaurant was NOT busy at all- maybe just a few tables on the patio and where we sat, there were about 4 tables around us. When the server came by to say hello to us, she asked if we were served yet and I said no. She was obviously very confused (as we were) as there were multiple servers on the patio & not a single one came up. This will not affect my service here but I ask that Management retrains their servers on what GOOD Customer Service looks like. A table of guests should never be made to wait more than a few minutes for a greeting. Customer Service isn t for everybody & yesterday s visit proved this. I would like to thank the kind blonde, tall woman who actually came up & helped us out. Lastly, not a complaint but a suggestion..please be make sure the string lights on the patio are on. It was pretty hard to read the menu without the extra lighting!

Hi I was here with a friend. The staff are nice professional & friendly. The food is very delicious & amazing. I give the cheifs that day respect. They did a great job with the food. EVERYTHING was perfect. I say cuzz the night i was there. It was very busy with lots of groups of peoples. We ordered 3-4 dishes. The bill was well over $140. To be honest it was worth every cent. Im telling whoever reads this please try this place. U will deffently enjoy it. Thanks guys. Next time see u again soon. Ill be deffently chillll on the padio outside.

Food, drinks, and service are all top notch. The prices on food are a little high, but i know it s more standard these days.

Sometimes things go wrong no matter where you are. We had a bit of a mix up and the staff were upfront and open for discussion. They made it right and we really appreciated their efforts. We were 100% satisfied and definitely going back!

We were a large party ( ~50ppl) and there were no issues. We ordered quickly and everything was served timely and delicious. We had dry ribs (superb!), Cobb salad and burger, all delicious. We can t wait to go back!!!

We were very disappointed by the service at the Oakville Pump. Unfortunately we could find anyone to take our order so we left.

A bit disappointed - I had heard how great the wings were. Ordered two pounds of their famous wings. The wings were overcooked but more importantly they were literally miniature, like little nubbins. I asked the server if it was normal she said yes they re always really tiny like that but they re really fresh yea I d hope they are fresh hahaha. My buddies told me that wasn t how the wings usually look lol. Anyways shoutout to our waitress who was great and the atmosphere being great as well, just disappointed with the food.

Reserved a table Sat night and asked for a quiet area of the pub. Keep in mind its a very busy place Sat nights so we were very pleased with where we were seated. Service was very good and the food too. We were celebrating a birthday and after our meal the waitress brought out a complimentary dessert for my wife which was a very nice gesture.

Its a little dark for old eyes but the service was good. The menu was varied to appeal to many palettes. Reasonably priced, delivered hot and as ordered. I expect to return. Dietary restrictions: My gluten-free / dairy free wife had plenty of choices from the standard menu.

Last night I tried this place out with my friend. I had previously inquired about live music which they have on Saturday nights. I was advised to make a reservation which I did. We were seated as soon as we got there. I ordered a Caesar that was perfect. I ordered the corned beef, carrots, potatoes, cabbage from their special St. Patrick s Day menu. It was a very big portion so we shared it The server, Anna, was great - very attentive and prompt. We didn t wait long for our meal. The band, Kim Foo Band, was a high energy band who played every genre of music (pop, disco, rock and R & B). Kim has a beautiful voice and sparkling personality. I can t wait to go back to this place. We had a great time!

Everything about this place is good, the food, the service and the atmosphere. My son is a student at Sheridan we go here every time for the wings and a pint when I come to visit. Never had a bad experience.

This place is the absolute BEST. My friends and I go to their trivia night on Wednesdays and we always have a blast. The food is tasty and the service is excellent. The staff are wonderful - theyre always so sweet and really go above and beyond. The host of trivia, the awesome Professor Jeff, does a phenomenal job, and always has a great mix of questions, songs, and puzzles. I also love how in addition to trivia nights, the Pump puts on really fun and interactive things year-round. The effort they put in is greatly appreciated, and I highly recommend anyone to check this spot out! :)

Worst chicken wings on the planet. I was in the Pub last week with my friend and ordered 2 doz wings. When they arrived, I looked at it and said to our server that they looked like pigeon legs. Honestly they were just tiny skinny bones with a little bit of meat. She responded they have a new supplier. That is the worst $30 order. I will not be visiting this pub for the garbage they serve and the overpriced drinks. There are better places to go around Oakville.. I wouldn t even give them 1 star

Gotta drop a 2-star for this one. Last time I went here, we ordered a bunch of drinks at the bar. My girl and I asked for double shots in our bourbon cocktails. When we got our second drink, my gf told me the bartender is just adding one shot and to pay attention. I watched, and he used a regular glass shotglass to pour the bourbon. It was just one shot. Not a big deal, maybe he just forgot. 4 drinks in, we get the bill and the bartender said they dont have a option for double shots in their billing software and Ill have to pay for an extra shot for each drink. I will see it on the receipt as a drink+shot for each drink. My girl and I got 8 in total (4 each). I pointed out he was using just 1 shot for the drinks and he looked pissed, came back with a jigger and said he was using the larger part for my drinks which equals 2 shots (he was using a regular shot glass when we saw him mixing. I was a bartender, so Im familiar.) We didnt want to argue so I paid for the extra 8 shots. I used to come here a lot, but turned off now.

The food wasnt great. It used to be a better place a long time ago when it was niblick. Least they kept the nachos the same. Burger was dry, wings were very small. Its beyond me as to why you would have live music at 7pm, especially when the band is using electric guitars, perhaps acoustic would be better. Was to loud to hold a conversation. Our server could not even hear my order and because of that, I was given the wrong side. I dont blame the server at all. She did her best. Ive been in the industry for 20 years and the only time I couldnt hear the server was when ivwas in a bar or club at 10 pm or 11 pm, not 7pm.

First time coming here and it s definitely become my new favourite as well. The food here is absolutely amazing and filled with flavour. Great deals on drinks too. The kitchen is clearly being run by a chef who knows his stuff! Great job guys, will be coming back for sure

I wanted to come here to specifically give a shout out to our wonderful waitress tonight named Ali. She was amazing overall as a server, very kind and knowledgeable but extra considerate of my young son with food allergies. We usually bring food along for him because of how severe his allergies are but she provided him with a safe treat and let me review ingredients beforehand. He was so happy to be included even if it was just a small treat. Thank you, Ali! Dietary restrictions: Didn t order main food for our son with food allergies as a personal comfort choice but he was able to eat the safe food we brought for him without question and was provided a safe dessert (ingredient list provided). Kid-friendliness: Super comfortable setting children. Drawing, spill proof cups, good menu options for them.

I rarely leave reviews, but was compelled to leave one as a result of my familys meal this evening. First, regarding service - took 20 minutes to receive the bar drinks we ordered (4 draft beers, 1 cocktail). The restaurant was half empty - why did it take so long? When I looked towards the bar, I noticed the servers tended to prefer chatting amongst themselves instead of serving customers. Priorities seem misaligned. Second, regarding food quality. Four members of our party ordered a burger. All four were burnt, dry, bland, and tasteless. Cant believe the chef/server didnt notice this before bringing it out to us. Fries and appetizer were ok, hence the 2/5 stars. I dont understand why this place has such positive reviews. We were excited to try but sorely disappointed by our experience. I would suggest dining elsewhere.

We came here tonight to celebrate my wifes birthday with the family. A very kind,clean and friendly environment. The food was freshly cooked and this is why we maybe had to wait a little. But hey, good food takes time to prepare. If you want fast food, we all know where to find it... Bravo to the chefs! The service: everyone was very polite and hospitable. Especially our server:Kenzie! We were looked after, which was very important. Especially due to the occasion of my wifes birthday. Kenzie is a true gem who knows what customer service is all about! Kenzie was literally everywhere making sure customers would be happy & smiling! This young lady has a bright future in business! My professional advice to managment: Do not lose her! Well be coming again soon with family from the UK, as we were very impressed with the high standards! BRAVO to everyone!!!

Its been a while since Ive been so put off by the food Ive been served by a restaurant/pub/fast food joint/literally anywhere ever that Ive felt compelled to leave a review about it, but... I ordered a smashed guac starter and fried chicken sandwich -- the sandwich wasnt terrible. It was just fine. They did manage the impressive feat of somehow keeping the bun from getting soggy on a delivery order, and the chicken was a good portion and seemed fresh, but seemed as though they went for the cheapest possible frozen stick fries and some canned gravy for the side. Fine for pub food, but not for pub food at this price point -- this place is WAY too expensive for the quality you get. But the starter. Wow, was it ever awful -- should be a law against calling what I was given guacamole. It had a really weird oozing wet consistency, and I could see little puddles of liquid -- since this was a takeout order and I couldnt exactly send it back to the kitchen, I gave it a go, and it was sour to the point I was concerned it had actually gone off -- not that far off from just directly sucking on a lemon. Had to abandon it because it was just inedible. Came back to it the next day, and disturbingly, it looked almost the same except for a small amount of browning oxidization and more of the liquid had separated out. The picture included is from sitting out 19 hours later... I might just do a reproduction of the infamous time lapse McDonalds hamburger photos with this stuff. This cost me $15 dollars. Since Im not ill the next day, I think what actually happened is this is not even close to made fresh -- instead, theyve loaded it up with some sort of citrus additive (and possibly even oil? Im a bit at a loss to explain the bizarre texture of this stuff otherwise) to keep it from browning. I wouldnt eat here again, but if you must, skip the guac -- you can get a tub of grocery store guac for half the price, and itll at least be the right creamy texture and youd actually be able to taste the avocado.

We arrived to the hostess and waitresses being overwhelmed, so we sat at the bar while we waited. Turned out it was the place to be! Bartenders, Ninja and Mike were absolutely amazing, the nachos were great (and I rate pubs but their nachos) and the atmosphere dark, clean, warm and friendly. If it wasnt for the bar tenders it would if been a 4 star for service but they delivered. Say hello to our local watering hole!!

Fantabulous experience. Did a private event and everyone loved it. The food, drinks and the service was just amazing. The manager was so helpful and supportive. The staff that managed our event was just amazing. I will highly recommend this place to anyone. Vegetarian options: Verity of veg options. Their fried pickles are awesome.

First time experience I was there tonight (Sunday) with my friend and our kids. Our server was Maya I don t leave many reviews but she was amazing. Super friendly and so good with the kids. Above and beyond in my eyes. On top of that I had the Sunday roast beef dinner special and it was amazing better than the keg. I ll be back! I ll be asking for Maya again.

I can not RAVE enough about this place. The service is amazing, it doesn t matter which server is assigned to your table you will receive the most amazing service. The kitchen is the top notch. Simple things like an Alfredo pasta, are 5 star and keep you wanting more. If you are in Oakville or are seeking a 5 star experience a Pump and Patio is the place. The food and service is absolutely amazing every single time. Warning: the bees are out and about They do have burnt coffee on the tables to try and deter them. However, it didn t help much when I was there for lunch. I actually lost my appetite because the bees were literally biting my food and flying away. I didn t want to do take away because I didn t feel comfortable knowing the bees were in my food.

This patio restaurant is in the heart of Oakville. Love the sports bar vibe along with patio setup. Overall ambiance and service is great, thought the food could be improved. Recommend it overall.

Went to this pub thinking the menu looked great lots of options. Well not so many options on sunday at noon. Ordered steak and eggs Medium rare Steak was cooked lile a donkey and tough, eggs were hard. So we asked for another steak it was just as gross so sent it back. Got wings as replacement. Also had a tuna poke bowl. Rice was chewy, lots of bees outside that pushed us to have to eat inside. Waitress took off the steak and eggs dish from bill and complimented us $5. Will not return, worst food ever

I thought this was your average every day, Pub. But we are really impressed by the food quality and taste. We had the steak and chicken avocado salad. Both were very flavorful. They also have a great selection of beers, including some from local breweries in Hamilton and Toronto. We went for the live band on Saturday night. It was packed.

Always a good time at Oakville pump and Patio. The food menu is extensive compared to other places with bar food. They have some good craft beers on the menu and interesting cocktails too. I had an IPA and my friend had a Spiced rum and raspberry cocktail , both were perfect. The seating area both inside and on the patio is big enough and tables not too close together.

Great place and fantastic food and service

We had a fantastic experience celebrating our daughters 18th birthday at The Oakville Pump. They went above and beyond to make her feel extra special. The live music was absolutely incredible, just breathtaking, the best Ive heard in a while. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, giving us plenty of leftovers to take home. The service was outstanding . Thank you for making our daughter feel like a princess. We will definitely be back many, many more times. Parking: No issue with parking at all.

The Oakville Pump & Patio is a great place to dine with many friends. I once had a party of 10 and got seated near the fireplace that adds a nice touch to the look. The waiters were also nice and quick despite our large party size. The food was also great, however, the portion sizes are a little small for the prices that they charge. However, the food was still delightful. Their smash burger and spinach dip appetizer was delightful and I personally enjoyed it. Overall, a nice place to gather with friends and have a nice meal.

Very average pizza and under cooked. Rubbery wings. Very dark inside.

Great place for a pint at the end of the day or a group get together. Food is great and they have a very good selection of local draft beer. Staff is always friendly
