Atmosphere and vibes are very nice but service is quite slow. The food is exceptional and the quesadillas were quite yummy

Great biriyani. And I also enjoyed the Tikka Masala. Ever since they brought in the chefs from India, Ive enjoyed my visits far more. Id give them 4 stars, but they dont have Falooda yet.

Sarah was a wonderful server and took care of our party wholeheartedly! The food has changed a bit over the years as I returned to TJs after a long time. The Big Bang shrimp, Caesar Salad and Kung Pao noodles were all delicious though!

**Update: I emailed them as per their request, and it was more of a waste of my time. Oakville Turtle Jacks gave me the most dismissive response, what a complete joke. Im only giving this place a 1 star because our hostess was very nice and the patio area is cute. I got serious food poisoning from this place and this happens to me once in a blue moon. I ordered the ahi tuna bowl, and upon first look the tuna looked really odd and did not look fresh at all. When I tried it, it tasted extremely funky, almost rotten. I brought this concern to my waitress but she told me its the marinate, so I finished my food not thinking too much about it. Few hours later, I experienced the most excruciating stomach pain, and started throwing up. I knew immediately it was the tuna because that was the only thing I ate differently from my family, and nobody else was sick. I spent the next 24 hours in so much pain, losing sleep, and dehydrated. To think a big franchise like this can serve REALLY bad tuna, imagine how they handle their other food.

This was our 1st time at this location. We are big fans of Turtle Jacks. The food was very good and so was the atmosphere. Definitely recommend the bison burger. The service, not so much. Had to look for our server twice to refill drinks. Not the most pleasant server either.

Hi I came here quit a few times. I had various foods & appetizers. The experience is good. I have sensitive hearing. In this beautiful place I advoid large tables of anyone. The decibals get more annoying by the hr. Other than that great plsce I come once or twice a year.

Disappointing lunch experience with companion while in the area. Terribly understaffed at the time. Lengthy wait for food delivery only to have it arrive overcooked (suspect too long under the lamps waiting for staff to deliver). Couple in booth next to us entered, was seated, and left after 15 minutes following no service. Restaurant was in disarray. Hopefully for future patrons of this establishment, what we experienced was an anomaly.

A thoroughly enjoyable early dinner with great service. The best Turtle Jacks in the area. -- ------ This update is a tough one to write. Ordered a Big Wing Sandwich via Uber Eats on 6th Jan 2024 (with notes requesting certain toppings be omitted) and whoever prepared the food ignored not only the note but also the allergy notice resulting in a very stressful evening of emergency allergy medications. To miss a note is one thing but to actively endanger a life through negligence is unacceptable.

We ordered 2 Marguerites and they were like lemonade. We advised the waitress that the Marguerites were too sweet and that probably need something else. The waitress was very rude saying, that she can t do anything and if we wanted something different we had to pay. Her name is Zee or Zoe something like that. The food wasn t bad but the service awful.

My partner and I had a lovely meal out at Turtle Jacks during our visit to Oakville - we both had a burger each, and they were tasty. The onion rings on the same came as a huge portion, which was nice, but the way the waitress had described them made it seem as though they would be a much smaller portion! It was a nice surprise, nevertheless. The service was fast, but it wasnt always easy to get someones attention to ask a question as all the waiters and waitresses were over the other side of the restaurant and only really rushed past us. The main reason we have given 4 stars rather than 5 is because a customer had fallen whilst coming into the restaurant, and the front of house attendant wasnt at the desk - it ended up being two customers that went from their tables to help them up, and the staff didnt seem to be aware of what had happened. All the customers seemed fine afterwards, but it was worth noting that, at that particular time, the welcome desk was unattended.

Its unfortunate they removed Hunters Chicken from their menu.

i had the bison meatloaf and it was pretty good but the vegetables were barely cooked my wife had the chicken parm and it was ok. she would have preferred more sauce and the chicken coating had no crunch to it Food

Tjs isnt what it used to be. Was there on a Friday evening for dinner(July 7th). Place was practically empty. We were the only group larger than 4 inside. Had a very nice young server, unfortunately I cant remember his name. There was another server who kept coming around asking if we were good, I got the feeling that he was annoyed and didnt think our server was tending to us, but he definitely was. Our server would take some plates away, then the other guy would come 5 minutes later. Our server asked if we wanted any coffee or desserts, we said no thank you, 2 minutes later the other server came and said do you guys like need anything, or can I get you anything? Do you need coffee or something? and thats when he sounded annoyed, as if our server was MIA. Just wanted to mention, because our server was actually doing just fine and the other guy seemed like the type to complain about it lol

Amazing staff!! I had the best experience at this location, the staff were super friendly with my dog as shown in the photo. They brought her some water and whip cream and continued to top up her water throughout our lunch. Food was very good thought I do wish they had some vegan options on the menu.

Brought in a baseball team and families for around 40 people. They accommodated us without issue....even after a rain delay pushed back our arrival.

My wife and I visited Turtle Jacks for the first time. This restaurant was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and attentive to guests. The dishes were terrific! The next time we are in Oakville, we will return!

I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and fries. Fries were good but the chicken was chewy and tough . Maybe it was overcooked and so it dried out? Waste of $.

The food here was horrible i got the chicken fajita which had no flavour whatsoever and the guacamole that i got looked old and brown. My husband also ordered the buffalo chicken burger it came out super dry and tasteless he did tell the waitress that he couldn t eat it but she didn t seem to care. Waste of money and time coming here.

Mayb you should change your hours on google if u close Sunday at 8pm my skip order was canceled because of your incompetence. Who closes a restaurant at 8 pm on a Sunday. While Google says 10 pm.nice one !

Food was great but a little pricey

Ordered the blackened chicken (dry btw)fettuccine Alfredo $26 on Uber. I need to know how TJ justifies the cost of this meal. I received maybe less than half of a .5 thick piece of chicken breast(thats being generous, seriously--) and a very large portion of pasta. I know pasta is cheap.. SO cheap. There is NO WAY that this portion of chicken cost more than $5. So what are we paying $26 for exactly? If Im paying that much, I expect the part of the food that would cost the most(chicken)to be significant! Pasta with Alfredo sauce and a sprinkle of parsley is not worth $26. lol At the very least, work the garlic bread into the price.

The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, and the servers are pleasant and very accommodating. Turtle Jacks is the complete package for a fun time!!

Highlight of this visit was my server - Diego. He was friendly with a great smile, and very authentic. I asked Diego about the fish and chips and he explained the batter to me so well, that I went for the dish, and he was right. Thin batter but crisp. Lots of fish and light batter. The chips were ok too. Great meal and Diego made it better!

I ordered Hunters Chicken for main, it was just a bunch I things put in a bowl.. nothing like what the menu describes. The presentation was poor too... dessert was Turtle Pie, which was sooooo sweet that my teeth fell off... it was a good combination of mousse and walnut but overall dint work for me!

Me, my aunt and cousin went there for lunch and it was an amazing experience. Lisa was our waitress and she was the nicest. She wished me a happy belated birthday. Definitely recommend going here.

Highly underwhelming. The food lacks flavour, even the visual representation was just blah (for instance my french fries were beige). Polite servers but no engagement or warmth - again just blah (perhaps they were AI bots? Hard to tell with the masks) Overall experience was about as exciting as a ladies, senior-citizen lawn bowling event.

I ate here just a few days ago with some friends. Sarah was our server and she definitely enhanced our experience. She was sweet, friendly, efficient and gave the best recommendations. Everytime I feel like having a night out, turtle jacks is always my first pick. Sarah is my all time favourite and is one of my main reasons for always attending this location. She is always thorough with my order and always takes care of me. She is attentive, very friendly and always makes sure I m happy with my order. I usually love ordering takeout from this location and have done so several times, however I haven t been happy with my last two orders. The portion sizes appear smaller, food isn t as tasty, the lettuce is dry and on the verge of spoiling. It s not worth the price anymore. Edit: I would like to say thank you to Henry from Guest Services for reaching out and taking the time to make things better, it s very appreciated.

Absolutely horrible food, the wings were ridiculously dry, overcooked. It was if the cooked them well done a few hrs before I ordered. And the re fry them well done when a customer ordered. 10 of the smallest wings go for almost $19. The waitresses and service was ok. Over priced food, and quality of food is some of the worst i have every experience. Not worth your time or money. Avoid at all costs. Will not be going back, which is unfortunate considering that I reside across the street.
