This was a nice place to have breakfast. Service was great. They didn't have the hollandaise to make the Eggs Benedict so I went with an omelet. It was good but I was kind of disappointed about the hollandaise.
Nice little restaurant for breakfast, we were seated quickly and our waitress took care of us immediately. We both had crepes, mine was apple with a side of sausage patties and my wife’s was strawberry with a side of bacon. The crepes were huge and full of flavor. We recommend trying this place.
I just got dint eating, am actually still sitting on the joint. Shit is fantastic and really this place is perfect. Love the food, staff is nice. All great marks. Can't wait to come back
Today I stopped for breakfast at the Dolphin in Oakwood Village. Two eggs, two sausage and two pancakes. The plates were hot and food was hot. This will be a new breakfast spot.
The Dolphin Restaurant in Oakwood Village, may be small in size but they have a BIG Heart. They saved my mom’s Senior Group function by providing some of their delicious fried fish when their original caterer had to cancel. They acted quickly and the price was very reasonable for a last minute request. The staff was so friendly and sympathetic towards us and our situation. Thank you for helping us in our time of need!!!
The guy greeting customers and running the register was quite short, borderline rude. The food was ok, but used to be better. The waitress was attentive & polite & the food arrived fast.
I am extremely satisfied with Dolphins this time around. I got them to go once before and was disappointed with not much meat in my omelette. Things are better! The hostess was nice and welcoming. Please give this place a try if you want a great hearty breakfast! And go back to sleep Ha!
Whoa. That was a big omelette. I can’t believe I ate the whole thing. But it was soooo good. Service was fast. Coffee was hot. I had stopped at another breakfast spot before this one, and there was a 30 minute wait. I walked into Dolphin, got seated, and got coffee. I put on headphones, and they left me alone. Sweet zen. EDIT: Upon returning, I’ve found their restrooms are now not behind a lock and key. I felt very comfortable and clean. I’ve been here now 4 or 5 times, and it’s been a delightful breakfast each one. In my travels across America, this is one of my favorite diners I’ve found. Not only is the food great, but the funny dolphin theme really settles this place as a unique dining experience. It teeters on the edge of chintzy and cheesy, but then your meal arrives and it all makes perfect sense.

Good home cooked meals
This is one of our favorite restaurants, food and service always exceptional.
What a disappointment! As a customer who values quality service provided by Dolphins, I am disheartened by this experience. My daughter and I ordered breakfast for pickup from the Oakwood location. We ordered the apple stuffed French toast, which was lightly toasted bread with what tasted like canned apples on top. There was no cinnamon or nutmeg, just lightly toasted bread with plain apples and cream cheese. The potatoes with onions were burnt on the bottom and the onions were put in the corner of the container instead of mixed in with the potatoes. I normally frequent the Broadway location but their line was busy. We ended up doctoring the food for it to be edible instead of going back. From now on I will wait for Broadway to answer. Very disappointing when you pay for something and get a mediocre product.
We just left and it was spectacular.When we walked in,the employee Debby came in,asked us about our table,and asked if we were twins.She talked about Twinsday before sitting us at our table.Then we our server,Anne came and asked about our drinks and told us that if we needed her we can just call. The food was delicious.I had milk,French toast with sausage links,my sister had pancakes,chocolate milk,scrambked eggs with american cheese,and sausage links,my Mom had chocolate milk,pancakes,potatoes,scrambled eggs with chedder cheese,and my grandfather had a spinach skillet,wheat toast, and coffee.Anne came with our food and drinks,easily,and asked us if we needed anything. Anne came at perfect timing,getting coffee for my grandfather,getting water for my sister and I,and being hospitable.After my grandfather paid,Debby offered us Dum Dum Suckers at the counter. In total,Dolphin Restaurant was kind, hospitable,and spectacular.More people should come see this restaurant and if I get a chance,Ill go back too.

Food was good and plentiful, however, it was to go and I was still asked if I wanted to leave a tip! Older gentleman cashiering, may be owner. Why leave a tip for a to go order? Tipping is way out of hand.

I use to love this place, food was pretty good. The only issue I have with this place is the cooks handle the food with their bare hands and don t wear gloves .. I just can t get past that

Excellent food, good portions, staff is always friendly and quick arrival of food. The place is always busy and after eating here I know why. I have only tried their breakfast menu but plan to try the lunch menu in the future.

Our server was great. Food delivery to everyone was fast, hot and tasty. Place was full but the employees were on the ball. Only complaint I have is seating for 10 wasnt possible. We were not able to all sit together. Was my 1st time there. I will return and I recommend breakfast. Plenty to choose from. Parking: Can be full on weekends but we did find parking.

I like to test my restaurants to see if it will be a place to frequent and this is not a place I would come back to. The food is blah, but maybe my expectations were too high. Although there are A LOT of options on the menu, it has its limitations. For breakfast meats, there are not turkey/chicken alternatives. And the food doesnt taste like quality ingredients. This is pribably a good place for the older crowd. Some of the servers are bubbly and positive, but others are mean and nasty. I watched an interaction at the front desk that told me to NEVER go back. This server was upset with a patron for question regarding their bill. The patron was of a different nationality so Im not sure if that apart of the servers issue, but it was completely unacceptable. She didnt really answer the patrons question so when she came back to try to understand the server lost her mind. The only reason I would maybe come back if someone begged me to would be bc of the manager, I believe, who told that server to calm down. If you cant be patient, kind and courteous you shouldnt work in ... probably any place but especially a restaurant. I know life is hard, but its hard for everyone and you dont know what someone is going through. Do better Dolphin server.

Hearty, delicious food. We love breakfast after church service. Regardless of the crowds they are efficient and have great service everytime. I always leave full with left overs. Also I enjoy shopping at the boutique for gifts, they always have lovely jewelry sets that Ive gifted to various people and they have loved it. Kid-friendliness: Welcoming of kids.
The food was delicious. I always order eggs over medium. This is the first place to get it right. The server was super attentive and made sure we had anything we needed. The food came out fast, fresh, and hot. Will definitely be back.
A really nice old school Diner/Restaurant serving classic Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Favorites. Great prices and Service. There is a gift Shop as well. Vegetarian options: Veggie Omelet for Breakfast. Soup, Salad Lunch.

Twenty five years ago we would take a place like this for granted... now were all lucky to even have a restaurant this good. A full service eat in restaurant with delicious food, great portions, fast friendly service and prices you cant beat. Bedford location is also awesome

4.5 The Dolphin always has cars filling its parking lot, so we stopped after church. The restaurant is clean. The waitress was very friendly and the service was quick and the food was good. My husband likes crisp waffles, and he was surprised that he got what he asked for. We got large portions, and the food was good and reasonably priced. They also have a gift shop with lots of cute items. It was very pleasant.

If you blink you ll miss it, but The Dolphin serves great breakfast and lunch choices in a portions that allow a second meal at home. Forget the local chains. Try this place and you ll keep coming back.

Great and wonderful breakfast. Stuffed French toast and their crepes are a must when visiting this restaurant. Service is fast and on top of everything. Great vibes and comfortable environment . Parking: There are quite a few parking spaces , but on a busy day parking does wrap around the building making it kinda difficult to park in some areas.

Pancakes awesome, coffee extremely bitter, I usually drink black coffee, and tried adding cream and sugar, so bad I couldnt drink it. Waitress spot on, potatoes tasted like old grease. Would go back only for the pancakes. Fiancé had French toast, he didnt like it.

Im a big guy and i cant finish their breakfast! Omelet or skillet comes with hashbrowns AND pancakes!Everything Ive had here is delightful! Honorable mention is lobster bisque and grilled chicken salad. The place is clean,the service is quick! Youd be a fool not to try this place.

If you havent been here, imagine a little brunch restaurant in Florida decorated with dolphins everywhere that all of the retired folks know is a hidden gem. The skillet breakfasts are amazing! They have good lunch options too.

Sign says they close at 2. Walked up to the door at 1:30 and they were locked. Should probably keep your business doors open for the entire time your restaurant is supposed to be serving people. The parking lot was full also.
Absolutely fantastic food. Went there for breakfast and everyone was happy with their meals. I got the Greek Skillet, my wife got the Veggie Skillet, and my kids got blueberry waffles and Ham Scramble. The food was delicious. Cute restaurant and the staff was excellent, too.

Dolphin was a bit disappointing this visit. I m usually very satisfied with my visits. However, this time our food was cold. Also the older gentleman who l believe was the manager literally tossed napkins onto our table as if we were animals. That s unacceptable!

Ive been to both locations recently and the people are very friendly and the service is outstanding! I recommend the Greek Salad! Its the best Ive every had! I dont know what they put in that Greek Dressing of theirs but it is amazing! Ive had two of them this week alone!

Tasty, hot, well made breakfast. The fastest, best customer service you can get. (always leave a good tip...they earn it) Pleasant homey atmosphere. Bring your appetite because the portions will satisfy. If you are not near Oakwood, travel the extra miles for this place. Only had breakfast. Ready to try the lunch. Inna Nutshell: Friendly, family feel. Nice fluffy pancakes, good hash browns, grits were pretty good also. Price was right. I visit at least one morning whenever I m back visiting my fam.
