114 Broadway, Orangeville, ON L9W 1J9, Canada
Definitely a laid back spot. Ordered both boneless and bone-in wings one afternoon and they were fantastic. $4 Coors during the summer is also a plus. We will be returning!
Asked for crispy wings Got followed out of the building and lectured by the staff that they can't do crispy wings... Go get some frozen wings from the grocery store and put them in your oven. You'll get the same soggy result as theirs. I thought wings were the easiest thing in the world to make. I guess not. I'm not even allowed to have them crispy there apparently... EDIT: I realized that the manager of the bar may not know English well. She probably doesn't know what the word crispy means. I may try it again and use very small and clear words. "Crispy" may have been a difficult word for her
Best little pub around. The staff, owners and other patrons make you feel like family. So much love in this place.
There was a rowdy crowd of mature (in age) regulars here, the wings and mozzarella sticks that I ate were fulfilling (while tipsy). Just be yourself at this bar, and bring friends! This would be a good spot for a get-together with close friends. Don't expect many fancy mixed drinks, just stick to shots and vodka soda for your beverages. Low cost options available certain days of the week.
Stopped in for a bite while enjoying the bikes and blues event. it was super busy and the bar only served 3 different meals. The beef on a bun was awesome. The chicken finger deal was a bit on the skimpy side. However, if I ever make it back to Orangeville I will stop in again and try the regular menu. Very nice staff. Gr8 atmosphere.
If you're looking for a British inspired local pub, this is your place. Whether you're 19 years old or 90 years old, you'll have a great time. Good drinks, decent bar food and always a fun night. They also have karaoke on some nights.
An absolute gem of a establishment. The light natured atmosphere and real family feel of this pub is a real taste of a British pub. If you haven’t already had chance to visit please do. The staff and patrons are extremely friendly and welcoming. A true slice of British pub experience at the Bar On Broadway. As a post note, from personal experience, please disregard the previous negative feedback from a solitary individual and try this place for yourself
Amazing meat pie. True, tender slow roasted , flavourful beef that tastes like old fashioned Sunday beef dinner. Haddock in the fish and chips was tender, sweet and big. Batter was slightly undercooked but the fish was so amazing I didn’t care. Mushy peas and coleslaw to die for. Lovely servers. Super friendly
Always a good time here.
Love this place
Great place for the crack
Love the food and the staff. Could use a change of bar stools without backs to make it easier to manoeuvre
Great bar in Orangeville.
Great little neighborhood pub, a landmark in Orangeville
Great place, atmosphere and people. A genuine British pub!
Great lil Bar in Orangeville. Toronto Beer on Tap from Amber Brewery, usually you wont find it anywhere else and a pretty solid local craft brew without breaking the bank.... you must TRY it. Prolly the best selection of English Suds and Ciders you wont find anywhere else either. A whole array of other libations as well, whatever floats your boat. They let you play George Strait and Merle Haggard on the Jukebox.... Giddy UP ! Ask for their amazing BarStaff.. Andrea, Louise, Danielle, Tasha and Jess. Very friendly, courteous, and super Hospitable .. as long as youre not scheisty. Find yourself at home amongst the Liverpool, ManU and Leeds fans when a footy match is on but even Argentina/MESSI fans are welcome with open arms. If MLB, NFL, NCAA or NFL is your thing, theres always a game, guaranteed. Always other extracurriculars going on as well... Darts, Karaoke, Bingo and nosh on some of those AMAZING chicken wings if u got a hankering. I like to brush up on my Gaelic hobnobbin with the local academics while downing a couple pints, no need to cross the pond and deal with Border Services. So much more to say but you get the idea, the rest is yours to discover. When I get the kitchen pass from the boss Lady I try and make it out here ... I highly encourage you to do the same. Thank me later !
Nice cute bar with lively atmosphere. Beer n food is pretty cheap as compared to other bars.
Good service and great staff, cod beer
Great little Town BAR, EXCELLENT service, great food
A little cramped, but great energy and a lot of fun!
Awesome times had. Especially enjoyed bingo night
Is This the bar that employed a server who drank on the job, resulting in a tragic incident?? ? That left the job inebriated after drinking with patrons and who s owners when they are there are usually quite drunk themselves? Kid-friendliness: Just stay away from this place. Much better kid friendly options in Orangeville.
The people that work here are very rude.
Best bar in town
Great little British PUB :)
A traditional local with atmosphere, good staff and ownership and character to spare.
Very friendly people, Patrons and staff. Great atmosphere and the best chicken wings in town!
Great atmosphere, style of a British pub, fish and chips were awesome, went back and enjoyed chicken wings, by far the best wings around town, prices were very good too. Highly recommended, thumbs up for the staff and service, thanks, I ll definitely go back.
A brilliant british pub. Has a great atmosphere. Always feel welcome when I have been there. The owners are great people. Would highly recommend anyone to stop in here for a pint.
Great pub, the only place I was able to finally get a Snakebite. Locals were friendly as well as the staff.
Great little pub. Bartender is fantastic. Nice selection of cold pints, & good wings...
Great decor, great wings & fries, fun happening place to hang out!
New bar staff are most excellent.
Stopped in for a beer, it was terrible. Upon going to the waitress inside she passed me the bill with the beer still on it. I drank one sip of it and was confused as to why Id be charged for stale and skunk beer. It was poured said the mother who brings her children into a bar. What a sad sad place. Must be going under since they need to charge customers for beer that hasnt been drank.
If you like dive bars, then this place is for you. It has that old guy bar feel to it with too many drunken regulars there. But the beer is a good price to anywhere else and at times it can be fun.
The people were very friendly and would visit again.
Home sweet home!
Deb did a great job of everything, cooking, service and covid rules
Enjoyed
You couldnt beat it with a long stick
Small pub style place. Regulars were lovely.
Great place..terrific people and excellent atmosphere. Staff are nice too
Ive only been in here a couple of times. But the service today, and a 450 pint was a great combination. I look forward to going in again and having some of their 75 cent wings
Small, dark, great service, great beer. Food looks good - although Ive never eaten here
Came for some beers and ended up ordering some wings aswell. Wings were pretty good and I was surprised when my bill came that the bottles of Heineken were only $5.10. Returning customer from now!!
Relaxed atmosphere, good people.
I always go there I always have a great time service is great and a good atmosphere and really friendly
Great bartender Michael with a hart of gold
Nice cozy place to have a drink and chat!!
Very great place Good people and wonderful serves
My favourite bar!
Good cold pints and warm friendly smiles.
Good wings , cold beer , great service.
Great service and a sweetheart of a bartender.
Great soccer bar!
Friendly peeps, live music, good vibe
Loved the idea of this pub and decor didnt disappoint however the atmosphere on a Saturday evening was a bit rough around the edges for me. The server was polite but I probably wouldnt go back
Great service. Warmly received.
Very authentic British pub! From to the atmosphere, staff and pride in details the owners have put into this place is awesome. Great food too! Will be coming again- defiantly for the world cup !!
Had such a great time. The staff went above and beyond
Great staff
Nice spot to grab a beer with a friend. Limited seating, and rather small building though, still recommended
Fun pub
Small Irish pub
Friendly staff. Prices are good. Comfortable atmosphere.
So based on a recommendation, I placed a pick up order for Bar on Broadway with no issue. When I got there it wasnt ready, and I was told person who took the order was new. They said I could only dine in. I asked if it was a question of price as I would pay what was on menu to get the order (maybe there was a special on?). Instead of doing the right thing and making the wings because of their mistake, A lady behind the bar (senior barkeep, manager?) said only way they would make it is if I had a pint. I had wife and my kid in the car so I could not accept, besides I did not go there to drink. Knowing my luck, I would have thrown one back and been pulled over 2 min later. I come from a world where Uber Eats is growing, and good food should be made available to those who want to pay for it. One of the most awkward and unprofessional experiences ever experienced at a restaurant. If your food is too good for me, no problem Ill never be back and hope I deter anyone thinking of doing the same thing
Nice little bar.
Great pub cheap beer
Very small, and often at capacity on event nights.
Best pub in Orangeville
Very cozy and warm
After work on Staridays go for couple beers from Legion Branch 233 Orangeville Ontario Canada.
Come on all you haters. It a we little pub with some old school charm. Guinness is poured properly. Laurie is very welcoming. Short menu, however the chicken fingers was well prepared. I will be back next time.
Ignorant and immature with a sense of entitlement both owners and staff.no regard for tenants surrounding the bar at all.
Fun times all around
Great food great service and drinks
Bit small for a pub kinda cramped
Now the place in town to watch the footy and engage in banter
Beats the Goal.
Great Wings. I come here just for the Buffalo Butter
Owner was very rude when she asked us to leave, sign on door said over capacity but the place was half empty
Great service. Very friendly. Waitress was very attentive.
Cute little British pub. Great spot for locals to hang out. Entertainment is good and the staff is friendly.
Great owners, fun staff and good food. If youre looking for an intimate place to have a few drinks with your friends I wouldnt look anywhere else.
Great for thursday night karaoke!
