The food is great but hearing their voice message say that they went straight to catering bc of the high volume of catering orders makes no sense. If you are that busy then hire more staff why closed the restaurant for off the street orders it honestly makes no sense to me. I think the truth may be that they simply were struggling and decided to give catering a try.

I didnt know this existed! We are always on the lookout for new spots in town and this place is amazing! Crazy delicious and very fair pricing. Loved the Po boy sandwich and the sweet chili aioli is perfection. We may order more tomorrow.

Just discovered this place. Their fried chicken sammie... whoa mama! So good and its huge! The amount of food you get for the amount of money is fantastic. Keep it up! Their fries have a delicous seasoning and the aoila is to die for. Highly HIGHLY recommend this place.

We were so excited to see that Sol Brothers was in Orangeville as we had been customers when they had been in Brampton. Sadly that excitement was short lived. Staff is not friendly especially tall long hair guy. Very rude about not having pulled pork. But that s ok, we can move past that, what really led to 1 star was finding hair in the mac&cheese fries. Please have better food preparation in which customers don t find hair. We had to throw out the order. Very disappointed in the food and experience.

Just want to thank Jonathan for the caterer he prepared for us. It was excellent and everyone commented on how delicious the food was. We would definitely order from Sul Irmaos again.

Great food, but my god if it isnt absolutely maddening trying to get food from this place. First they close early disregarding the posted hours. Then they randomly close on other days completely out of the blue. They were going to be at ribfest. Ok great maybe Ill check out the booth. Nope! Didnt show up. Next time Im lucky enough to catch them on a rare instance that they are open and guess what, they are out of atbs and not planning on making any more. Today, they were there but not taking any orders. The food is good, there is a reason why I want to pop in once in a while. If the food was bad Id cut this place loose. However, its nice once in a while to take a ride out the the country and grab a sandwich. But my patience is wearing thin.

Second review. Same thing. Called on a Saturday at 6pm (2 hours before close) and no answer but Im used to that with this place. They usually cant be effed to get the phone but yah turns out they were closed. No sign on the door. No indicator they would be closed online with Facebook or Google or anything. Im done going there. Waste of my time too much of the time.

Ordered Thursday evening. Wings and whole chicken with two sides. Chicken and sides were good. Wings were very good with the dry rub and sweet chili sauce. Will definitely be returning. Wish they did the chicken in the same rub as the wings.

Delicious. We used to order our Portuguese chicken from Brampton but after hearing that Orangeville had opened one up, we decided to give it a try. The chicken was so juicy. Not dry at all. The rice and potatoes were great too. My family is happy to have a good chicken place near us.

We have ordered take out from here a few times and the food is always great. Definitely a go to spot in town when you want something delicious and healthy-ish but arent in the mood to cook. The potatos are my favourite... Im a sucker for Portuguese potatoes (I can eat a plate full of them), the potatoes are always so soft and cooked properly. My husband devours the chicken and absolutely loves it with the hot sauce.

Very big sandwiches! We have tried 4 different sandwiches now. They are all different- very tasty. Their fries also have a unique seasoning. Definitely a must try restaurant.

Chicken was ok. About the same as youd get pre-cooked from Metro or Walmart. Garden salad was straight from a bag, nothing special. Fries were fine, some seasoning on them. I wanted to order there wings but they didnt have any for another hour. Portion size was pretty small for a family of 4. I might give them another try and get the pork or wings otherwise Ill pick up a bird from Metro on the way home.

Sick mannered staff, specially the skinny tall guy. He didn t wore the gloves while preparing the order. When requested to wear gloves, he told me to leave the restaurant and refused to serve me.

I dont know what happened today!! I love eating here! BUT today I was very disappointed.... I ordered a family chicken combo and a veal sandwich... it was the end of the day and Im hoping thats why(not justified though) My chicken was super salty, my favorite potatoes were very dry and not very flavourful our veal sandwich bread was hard and my veal was way over cooked and very hard and dry my Caesar salad was very sad and not much of a Caesar very little croton,and cheddar cheese? And not enough dressing at all for the amount of iceberg lettuce they gave us... all in all very disappointed tonight and I had company over and raved about it Im hoping the next time its much better, because I know they can be very good!!

I have no clue how this place is still open. They cant follow their own hours of operation that are on the front door. Good lord dont show up an hour before they close or you will be treated like you are a horrible customer. Dont go here no matter how good the food is. Customer service is just as big a part to owning a restaurant.

Chicken is always great!!! Yummiest in town! However, the last few times weve order mac and cheese bites, its been very dry when they were not at first. Im assuming either its a new cook, or they are over cooking them as the cheese melts out. Sad to say I wont be ordering the bites any longer

Ordered last night for the first and only time ..my husband had the veal..looked like a dried out piece of muddy shoe leather and for the first time in 30 years saw him toss his favorite food in the garbage ,it was so bad. Now to my dried out chicken.. needed ketchup and lots of water to even swallow it..and like the potatoes and rice FLAVORLESS.. KEEP SCROLLING PEOPLE AS THIS FOOD IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY IN ANYWAY ,BUT AT LEAST THEY USE RECYCLED CONTAINERS FOR EASY GARBAGE TOSSING..WHICH IS THE ONLY PLUS

First time ordering thought I d try it out. I often order Portuguese Chicken from another Churrasqueira. I had the family meal. I found the chicken and rice to be way to over salted. The chicken and potatoes were greasy and and the rice mushy. I will stick to my usual Churrasqueira.

We got the chicken with coleslaw roasted potatoes with fried mac and cheese bites and classic poutine. Everything was amazing!!!!!! The young girl on the phone was helpful and friendly. We will definitely be ordering from here again!!!! Very happy to have finally tried it!!

They used to have restaurant Downtown Brampton but they closed and I heard were just doing the food truck. I just stumbled upon their Orangeville location and super stoked. Their food is mouth watering! The chili my son had he couldnt eat it fast enough and he was around 6 at the time. Definitely a place to check out. Well worth it

I stopped in 15 minutes before closing, the lady at the counter was very nice and ok with me ordering 15 minutes before closing. I placed my order with the lady then the cook realized that I had ordered. He was extremely rude to me and also his co worker. Pretty much told me to leave I couldn t believe it considering they are such a new restaurant. It s a shame I couldn t give them the business or try their food. If you are dealing with the public learn to speak to them.

I dont believe google has been updated with their new location details. I eagerly visited their small Orangeville location. Having a Portuguese background, I had been looking forward to trying it since it opened. I would describe this place as a stationary food truck; no seating aside from a single two-top out front (they did say they intend to add tables out back which will be nice). As for Portuguese cuisine? Questionable. If youre looking for traditional Portuguese fare like bifanas, bife a casa, polvo, bacalau dishes, pao de milho, papo secos, quejo st Jorge or fresca etc... not the place. As a Portuguese inspired place... they are doing okay. There were HINTS of Portuguese flavor. And they did have the traditional small roasted potatoes and rice available. We had the Pulled Pork Sandwich topped with sweet and hot peppers, and the Steak Sandwich both with grilled onions (closest things to bifanas they had on the menu) with side of fries. For BBQ style sandwiches they were decent, definitely generous portions! But nothing super unique from other non-Portuguese inspired smokehouses or bbq places. Unfortunately I left disappointed in the flavors, no garlic or ground pimenta that I could taste which are staples for Portuguese cuisine. Fries were delish though! And their pastais de nata/quesadas I believe are made in house, those were great too. Orangeville has a healthy Portuguese population, adding some truer cultural dishes and/or products would probably gain them a solid Porto-clientel, but as is, better to go visit Avõ and have her feed you. They did mention theyll be bringing in the famous papo secos soon, Ill go back then just to get those by the dozen! All in all, its great to have a new place in Oville, its just not what I had hoped for or expected.

I had an incredible experience here. I had never heard of this place and we literally just drove b and decided to stop in. the lady behind the counter was very helpful and friendly and even offered to assist me in ordering various items for me to try based on what I was looking for. the portions were massive and the price was very inexpensive. we got 2 half chickens, with 2 sides, a side salad, 2 drinks something else I cant remember but it came to $40 for 3 of us. not only was the food great and the portions big, but the service was what gives this 5 star. they were very friendly (as mentioned) and accommodating. I know this sounds funny, but we were driving through Orangeville on our way to tobermory and we needed to go to the bathroom, and although they only have a small staff washroom in the back, they quickly cleaned it up and allowed both me and my son to use he facility. that small accommodating gesture goes a long way for me. ironically referred a friend who lives nearby in Georgetown about it and he went there this week and loved it. we often complain about bad service, but great service also needs to be recognized. I will be back!

Fantastic food! Definitely notice the better quality ingredients. I ordered a whole rottasier chicken and 2 sides of potatoes and rice. Priced very well and generous portions given. The chicken was very tasty and seasoned well and potatoes and rice also seasoned very well. To top it off, I also got, never have seen this before, a mac and cheese bites poutine made top quality with seasoning and onion bits. Never had anything like it before and will for sure come back just for this poutine. Family run business, very friendly and helpful staff and clean environment with proper food preparations. Highly recommend to try! Good experience

Had the Beanasaurus myself. Great flavours and portion size for the price. Others I was with had the Veal sandwich. They were large and filling. The fish was nice and tender with a crispy batter. Delicious.

First time I ate here. I wasn t that impressed with the rotisserie chicken which tasted like a grocery store roasted chicken. It had no flavour and it wasn t hot. Potatoes and rice were hot and flavourful. They also serve Portuguese custard tarts which are over priced and not fresh. *Fresh* is key Sul Irmaos. That s the key to your success as a food vendor no matter the location in which you situate yourselves.

The food here is always AMAZING!!! Filling portions. Very flavorful! If you enjoy smoked meats or just very delicious foods this is the place to go! Never a disappointment, always great food, great service and amazing staff! Definately the best food in Orangeville.

With any Portuguese establishment I have to try the chicken, rice and potatoes. All 3 were amazing.Since opening in Orangeville I have been itching to try them and I was not disappointed. My girlfriend got the pulled pork and that was really big and flavoured perfectly. Keep up the good work! You are an amazing addition to Orangeville.

The chicken was cold and at lest two or three days old, the rice was bland and the potatoes were burnt. I wont be coming back!

Collected a pretty big order for me and my co-workers at Orangeville Nissan and everyone absolutely loved the food. The service was impeccable and the prices were very reasonable. This is going to be our go to place from now on.

Been here a couple of times. Had the pulled pork beanasaurus (sans the chili), the turkey waffle and the smokey wings. The wings were decent. The meat was a bit dry for my liking. The pulled pork beanasaurus was really good. Good thing we got it without the chili or else it wouldve been too filling. Got the turkey waffle via skip the dishes. The sandwich got a bit soggy and wasnt as good as I had expected. Better to dine in than take out.

Extremely bland, extremely greasy food. The guys cooking are hairy and dont wear gloves or hairnets, its quite disgusting to be honest. Hygiene there is horrid. No clue how people love this place so much, RDs is a million times better IMO

We been coming here for years. From the potato skins and Mac & cheese bites to the wings and pulled pork. Its sll very good and service is always top notch.

I go here for the ATBs and the Po Boys. I would rate this place higher but the food quality has gone down with the addition of new cooks. Yesterday I ordered the pulled pork and beanasaurus and the pork was chunky and nowhere near tender, the mac and cheese bites were mushy and overall had no flavour. The ATBs were alright but not as good as usual. I wont be eating here anymore, unless one of the owners are working. I really hope things change for the better.

After wanting to go there for weeks we finally had an opportunity to visit. Ordered their pulled pork sandwich ($6.95). And the full chicken ($13.95). We also got their famous Mac n Cheese bites ($6.95). Pulled Pork was extremely disappointing. Very blan with no taste. Not sure if the sauce was missing or not enough but it tasted dry. Chicken was delicious and mac n cheese was meh. Would not come back esp considering when we brought the concern up the waitresses only offered employee discount on the full bill which came to $5.87 her service was fantastic and she was super nice and helpful. Cant blame her for food not tasting as it should.

absolutely the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant, after a 40 minute wait for my order, still didnt have cutlery for my food. They had to borrow cutlery from the restaurant next door to serve the customers, i had to wait an additional 15 minutes for cutlery. I ended up returning my food and decided to go somewhere else

Wings are great, the Pereira Hot and Honey Hot were both very tasty. My buddies had the BBQ chicken and a Po Boy, both said it was very tasty. Great portions as well. The service was also great, we sat on the patio, overall a clean and friendly place. Now......would I go back? Maybe Id order ahead of time and bring home. I always equate BBQ with beer, wine and booze, pairing up your food and beverages is important, and a lot of people do it. This place only has one beer (an American brand also), on tap which is Mill St, with a light or dark choice. So much for pairing up your meal with various beverages that would make the experience more enjoyable. There is also not a drop of bourbon, whisky, tequila, or booze of any kind in the place. The Honey Hot wings would have been amazing with a Barking Squirrel (Hop City - a Brampton micro brewery), perhaps a honey bourbon on ice as a finisher. My buddy is a whisky drinker (he had a coke btw), so how about a whisky from Forty Creek, theyre just down the road a bit)? That is where this place needs obvious help, and needs it soon. Also lets talk sauces for the wings - mine didnt need any accompanying sauces whatsoever, but there will be people that will, one available sauce doesnt cut it. There is room for improvement to make the dining experience more enjoyable, the place is just okay at the moment and could be a lot better. I will admit this; the wings are fall off the bone heaven, best wings Ive had in a very long time. Creative additions to the menu as sides, dips (like a blue cheese topped with rose water and the pereira sauce swirled on the top would be amazing), plus adding a few bourbons, whisky and beer choices to make the dining experience that more enjoyable. Black Cherry bourbon would be a great first step.

This place is a real let down. Our second time here and the service remains great, food very poor. We thought wed try it again since the location is good. Had the veal sandwich that was fried in old oil. You could just taste the stale. The tomato sauce on the sandwich was burnt. Actually burnt. Apart from the fact that they only put on a teaspoon of it on my sandwich. Awful. First time I had the Beefeater sandwich. The bun was half empty. My companion had the sautéed veggie sandwich and that was burnt as well. Let the veggies on a little too long on the grill and tasted like they scraped them off. Dont waste your time and money. Pretty expensive for the bad cooking. Perhaps they need to get rid of the chef.

Drove here specifically because of the you gotta eat here connection. Place looks like a dirty fast food restaurant. I was with my family and they were playing hard core rap music with mother f this and mother f that. I thought they might clue in and turn it off. They didnt. Place was being serviced by a 15 yr old. After I asked for it to be turned off no apology. Just excuses. I wouldnt eat here if they did 10 TV episodes here. You really dont wanna eat here.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. They claim featured on You Gotta Eat Here ...well, you gotta wait here. It took over 45 minutes to receive the food, and when it arrived it was soggy and oil laden. The fries and potato skins were limp and sitting in a bowl of oil. The po boy sandwiches had two pieces of shrimp on them, plus a fatty piece of chewy brisket. Save your money and go to Subway instead it s just around the corner.

Just had an order for delivery from them via SkipTheDishes. First of all food was hot and fresh and came before time. Thats pretty much where it all dropped off. While I believe their ingredients are of high quality, I feel their flavours are not. I ordered the beef poboy and about 2lbs of hot honey BBQ wings. The sandwich was a little weird tasting, and the wings were not hot or honey or sweet or had any hint of BBQ, and they were half-ass sauced. Either they messed up my order and did not put the right sauce, or their hot honey BBQ is not what they say it is. This was my first and probably last time getting any food from this establishment.

This was my first visit but my better halfs been here before. She feels the place has gone downhill. I was disappointed that their draft beer only came in 20 oz and 60 oz servings. Im a pint kind of beer drinker. Half the tables were missing table clothes and when I asked for Tobasco or some hot sauce for my soup and sandwich, I was told it would cost an extra dollar. That said, the soup was reasonably good - it wouldve been better with Tobasco. As for my brisket sandwich, it was quite good; but again, wouldve been better with a hot sauce. As for the purple cabbage coleslaw, that was quite good. I discussed my reservations about the restaurant to my waitress who seemed keenly interested in my opinion and assured me she would convey my sentiments to the manager. And if they listen and act on my simple suggestions, Id have no problem assigning them four stars.

Im not sure whats with all the low reviews, I think the food is some of the best. Delicious smoked wings, and the pulled pork beanasaurus is amazing! I have ate here since day one it opened and continue to do so. Has skip the dishes affected the service? Yeah probably so but I think that is any establishment that has an app order service, I cant complain though because I use skip to order it too!

Tucked away in Brampton Sul Irmaos offers great food, fantastic staff and owners. I ate here with my wife and kids after a recommendation and the owner took time out of his busy day to say hi to my kids and ask how we were. The food we ate was a portuguese spin on southern bbq and they also make a mean chicken! Will definitely be back!

On a Friday night I had a great meal, great service and enjoyed the live music. Thanks guys!

Awesome food. Decided to try it out after hearing it was on TV. Didnt disappoint.

I was soooo disappointed in the place. We made reservations and when we arrived and were ready to order - they informed us that there were limited items from the menu that we could order. There was no chicken wings - apparently the chef decided not to make any at that point. We had the veal and steak sandwiches, which were ok - the jalapeno poppers were burned. The entire place was full of smoke and burning our eyes, so we ate quick and left. The waitress was a little rough around the edges and did not try to accommodate us at all. To say the least, WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!! definitely dont recommend this place - maybe for a beer, but most definitely not the service or food.

Brampton hidden gem, amazing food and reasonably priced

I never dine in so I cant comment much on the service, but the take out is always a decent experience. The chicken wings are so good here! I love the honey bbq one the most. The sandwich my boyfriend got (dont remember which one) was really dry and wasnt that good (so that has deterred us from ordering any other sandwiches), but we love the half chicken (must call in advance) and the chicken wings.

Pretty good but flavours could be better. Huge portions. Sandwiches are topped with a deep fried element which doesnt really add much flavour but adds a lot of grease unnecessarily.

Not the friendliest staff but not the worst either. Food did not come come out FIFO. We waited 30 min for our order while someone who came after got their in 15. Sandwich was dry and bland but piping hot so thats a plus.

I like the Po boy sandwiches.

So my hubby and went here for our anniversary dinner and let me tell you it was absolutely delicious!! We had the wings, the beefeater po boy the Cole slaw and the fries... I cannot wait to try everything on their menu and have it again and again and again.. One thing they could change is to have another server that would help a lot :)

Their beanasaurus is to die for its a really good sandwich, their brisket sandwich is also pretty good but I feel like beanasaurus is the best for your buck here. I will definitely be coming back for more!

We love the food of this place! The traditional portuguese bbq chicken (mild one) is amazing! The home-cut fries are soooo good. It has very affordable prices and generous portions! You got to try this place! Sometimes its very busy and you need to wait for a while, but let me tell you ... worth it!

Great place to eat. Convenient location and the food is excellent. I highly recommend Sul Irmaos. They were featured on the show You Gotta Eat Here for a reason.

Phenomenal food every time. A unique experience, great service. The ATBs are incredible, and the wings are delicious.

Had the dry rub wings, ATB and Coleslaw as apps, this place is amazing. If you like smoked meat it is heaven. Will definitly go back

Loved the food and the service was top notch.

Walked in the door and wait staff member was having a conversation with kitchen staff member. Then they talked to another table, no one came to greet us. We left after 10 minutes of waiting at the front door. This is the second time we have had poor service there. Last time we went they forgot to bring orders that we placed. Overall, food is great service is sub par.

Best sandwich I ever put in my mouth

This place is phenomenal. I have taken many clients to this restaurant and all of them were very grateful for the exceptional experience. The PO boys make you want to come back again and again. You have to check this place out if your downtown Brampton. They also offer take out

Was ok, took forever and wasnt even really busy, 1/3 full when we arrived/ordered. What we ordered food wise was ok. Sort of middle of the pack in our eyes on the food review, with longer than typical wait times for food to come out (almost an hour from ordering). Overall I would rate as middle of the pack/ to below average, food was ok but wait times and service was below what I would expect from any restaurant, let alone an independent - it was just adequate in our eyes.

Ordered the beefeater. Took more than 20 min to get my order, even though the place was deserted... And for what? A sandwich that was subpar at best. Was the meat flavourful? Yes. But the liberal amounts of mustard destroyed the taste. With a name like Beefeater, the beef has to shine through,.. not the condiments.
