Table wasnt clean... coffee spilled down the side of my mug. Staff must be over scheduled as they were not in thr holiday spirit.

This place was once our go to place for breakfast 2 times per week . With a clientele of mostly seniors , why they now play back ground ...Rock music is ridiculous. No longer able to have conversations with our friends while enjoying our breakfast, which is very good ! Looking for new spot going forward .

Service and food is amazing. Great place for casual meal and boy are the portions big! Staff busts their butts and gets food out pretty quickly. Just wish they had Seniors size meal options for breakfast. We always bring food home lol.

Building definitely needs work, ceiling inside and booths are nasty. But the service is always friendly and the food is great!

Great food, nice atmosphere and amazing service

Great family restaurant with awesome food and service. The breakfast selection is enormous and everything is just delicious. We had the Triple header with sausage, bacon, ham and eggs. You also get hash brown potatos and toast. Whats a deal! The place is decorated like an original diner and has old hits playing on the jukebox all day. You feel like you are stepping back in time to the 1950s great feeling.

The Best place for breakfast in a GTA

Food is ok, but they don t know how to make poutine!! They use garbage mozzarella instead of cheese curds!! Also the portions of smoke meat are pitiful and not as advertised!

The staff is not managed well enough to handle challenging situations. They have moveable tables to accommodate groups but the staff do not communicate so the tables are not utilized in the best way possible. Managers do not have the skills to listen, or to de-escalate situations. Maybe its the stress of being understaffed? or very busy? but if a manager took the minute to listen with the goal of how can we work this out it would save 10 minutes of posturing control and having the last word. The booth configuration really limits how customers are seated . If a customer was to not return it would not be because of the food or the pricing - the staff needs leadership that is solution orientated. I had hoped to have a happy celebration today with family and friends coming from all over Ontario, We came in early prepared to happily wait 45+mins so we would not rush the staff, but still be able to eat and go on to another event that we had planned. (They would not take a reserv. a week prior but the person on the phone said they would keep a note to expect us - they did not, I thought thats ok we came with lots of time to sort something out ) and even as tables clearly opened up to accommodate us all over the 30 minutes we waited , the staff had no means of communication. Instead of 1 waitress taking the group and saying to other servers I have a group , stating the situation or challenge to the team - multiple waitresses were working seating. Seating for those tables should be handled by 1 person. Multiple waitress divided us up. I couldnt begin to explain how the situation escalated so much - when asked what was now multiple waitresses if we could sit together and none of them talked to each. I got up at one point because I had family all over the restaurant now - to thank them for coming , apologize to them for not sitting with them and to discuss the event we were going to after lunch - and that caused a manager to assume we were moving around after ordering from multiple waitresses. We werent. The manager (woman with dark glasses) laid into me loudly and publicly. After trying to explain and seeing she had no intention of understanding she continued to repeat and repeat herself - I just apologized, ( I have a health issue and would never have the kind of energy to engage in a go no where conversation ) so I straightforwardly said we would like to eat our food, no one is getting up anymore, we are all seated and Im not talking anymore (because I physically couldnt) - she repeated what she thought she heard - YOURE TELLING ME NOT TO TALK ANYMORE!! she looked so angry and stormed off and we thought we are about to get kicked out - my youngest daughter thought we were getting thrown out and couldnt eat the food in front of her at her table. No one came back for a while to take anyones orders at the other tables so everyone was fearful and nervous - such an unexpected, unwarranted, unpleasant feeling. I didnt want to write a review but - I think with good leadership and teamwork and communication skills this could have been 100% avoided and I hope saying that might make it possible in future to look at how to do that. Im sure other customers around us and this manager were wondering what on earth was going on too - very disturbing. Im sorry they had to witness any drama. I didnt come to cause trouble or argue I also didnt expect to be told off in front of my family and friends and strangers today.

I did not like the fact that on the menu it indicates unlimited coffee or tea. In real life you have to pay for tea bags with refills. I have a problem with false advertising at this establishment. Other than that beef, I like the place and the atmosphere. The manager should be ashamed for asking his customers to pay for tea bags with refills. This is the only reason I would not return to this diner, its just a matter of principle.

Very Unwelcoming to Non-locals! Our server was argumentative, and when she made a mistake by missing our drink orders, she made an excuse and accused me of not saying it at all or I switched to hot drinks, which as completely wrong and irresponsible of her. When I called for servers for being too late to bring us drinks and maple syrup, they pretended they didnt hear or see me. They were very reluctant to take any extra orders. The food was good, but the service was horrible. The atmosphere that the servers created was very unwelcoming by having unwilling servers to take extra orders or listen to customers. I asked for straws, but the server brought only one for my son, and not for me, although I asked for strawS. Im not sure if she did it intentionally, but it truly frustrated me, and I had to leave my table to get a straw. Terrible service, reluctant servers to serve, and to check on the customers if they need something.

I love this place ! The service was great and the food was amazing. My salmon lox benedict was the best I ve had, as were the breakfast potatoes. The 1950s style interior is awesome , I love the retro look! Will absolutely be back ! Food : 5/5

I m from out of town.. I was parked at the tims across the street about to get something for breakfast when I noticed Angels Diner. I m glad I went to Angels instead! It was a wonderful experience!!

A large open diner fashioned with a retro American old time theme. Lots of old school booth seating. A classic menu loaded with all the staples youd expect and a few modern twists. The atmosphere and decor feel and look worn down. Hell, even the main exterior signage is broken but the food was good and the service was excellent. Diner coffee to a T. Lots of parking and easy access. Im a big boy and the booths can handle my portly self no problem. Im not a fan of run-down businesses as they reflect poorly on the owners and management but Angels is good. Please fix the signage, its an embarrassment.

Waitress was non existent. Disappeared a number of times. Waiting >20 minutes for a bill is way too long. Water glass was not filled up at all. Felt ignored. Others received her service. Ordered pork schnitzel - TOUGH and hard to chew. Food

Stopped by here with the family after a long hike. Service was speedy and friendly. I ordered the triple play breakfast, it was enormous and delicious. Im definitely coming back here, Id recommend if youre looking to get a nice big breakfast with a nice friendly atmosphere.

The fruit boat is a really nice addition to the skillet. The fruit is fresh and sweet.

Loved this little diamond in the rough! We were passing through Orangeville and saw the sign and thought that sounds like somewhere wed love! Our server was a little slow... she did explain that they just got a new POS system so we understood... however, she wasnt very attentive with her slowness (and we did hear a few of her other tables complain about her lack of attention to their orders and needs)... our order was slightly wrong-- she put the gravy on my fries instead of on the side, and put it on the side for my husband-- her suggestion was to grab our plates and remove my husbands Reuben and his coleslaw and swap it for my wrap-- um no thank you and especially not in a crowded restaurant and with your hands. I know this may not bother some people but it did me, especially feeling like there was a scene. And I dont get gravy on my fries because I dont always like gravy I havent tried before-- which was the case with this gravy (my stomach didnt agree with the flavoring). So I didnt eat the fries. The portions were big and generous. I will comment- if you get the clubhouse wrap, ask for them to put the mayo in it... It was so dry and hard to eat... and although they put the mayo on the side, I felt rather stupid squeezing the mayo on the end of the wrap with every bite. The atmosphere of this restaurant was by far one out of a movie! The oldies playing on the radio, the hustle and bustle of the wait staff... it was exactly what my heart loves!! Price point to food portions was amazing! More places need to follow your generous amounts!!!

I met with a group of friends for a leisurely breakfast. The menu offered a wide range of choices. The food was prepared quickly and did not disappoint! Service was friendly and efficient with neverending coffee refills. The dining area is spacious with huge windows on three sides. We were not rushed and had a wonderful get together. Highly recommended!

Very wide choice for both brunch and dinner, friendly staff, typical setting, we feel that the clientele is loyal. The portions are very satisfying and the dishes are good.

Our server was very good. It was very busy so we waited a few minutes for our order to be taken which was fine as I was visiting with a friend. The food was very good. I recommend Angel s diner. Parking: I found parking but when it is really busy it might be a little difficult.

We had a great time, dinner out with our kids and the staff was amazing. The food was great and it was very affordable, awesome place to eat out. Kid-friendliness: Great variety on the kids menu, great prices and portion sizes(cheaper than most fast food!) and delicious. Servers are super accommodating to little ones as well.

Grate place for breakfast

Is there anything bad to say about this place? My family LOVES this place! All of the angels angels should be treated like royalty in O-ville! Some of the servers there are literal angels and are my favourite people to see! Breakfast is my favorite, but even the takeaway is so good! Omg the souvlaki! Ive been coming here for 7-8 years and loved it every. Single. Time!! We have tried so many things over the years and have yet to say I wouldnt get that again.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu for options from about $6 to $10, eggs, grilled cheese, chicken tenders, waffles, etc. Small juice included.

First time visitor and probably last time visitor. The food was average (liver & fries). Chicken club sandwich was not very good. Chicken tasted weird and off. Have to take your sandwich apart to apply your own mayo. Strawberry daiquiri.. I might as well asked for dyed colored ice. Portions are big. But taste is definitely not worth the money we paid. No questions asked how our food was.

Retro music great. If you are seated by the door expect to keep your coat on and a cold meal. Had mushroom swiss cheese omelet. Loved the cheese but not fluffy flat. Fresh fruit also not fresh. All items dry and greasy. Ooffee was good but tell your waitrss to bring fresh milk or creamers. Dont have grapefruit juice if you expect a healthy choice. No professional chef in the kitchen. More like anature cooks. Price not worth the quality. Washrooms needed better sanitation clean up. Cool they have music while your fleshing up. Overall restaurant needs reno. Love some of the fifties nostalgia. Careful driving in parking lot giant pot holes right by the front doors. Dont get why restaurants dont invest in upgrading..Simple and easy.

Was in Orangeville today for a few hours for work so stopped by this diner for brunch. Very impressed! The food was fabulous with big portions and a great menu with so many choices. Loved the old diner look and feel. Loved the comfy booth seating. Loved Brittany she was the sweetest and so efficient! Hopefully I will get the opportunity to dine here again! 5 THUMBS UP

Terrible service. I ordered food but didnt want a certain item on it. When I got my plate, I took a bite off it and realized the item was in the sandwich. When I asked for a new sandwich, the girl rolled her eyes at me. 15 minutes later I got my food back but it was the same sandwich that I had taken a bite out of?! Cheap and poor quality. Waste of time and money

This was the worst smoked meat I have ever had, they used to have good meat and good portions. Now the meat is GARBAGE and portions and VERY SMALL!! If you re going to increase your price fine, but don t rip people off and serve them bad food. I used to live in Montreal so I know good smoke meat, this should be removed from the menu

I love angels, but after what I saw today, I will never go back. The B in charge, I think her name is Debbie treats her employees like garbage. I saw first hand how she degrades and humiliates her staff. She is a horrible horrible person and even though I love angels and go there at least twice a week, after what I experienced today, I will not go back.
