Visited Topville on Thursday the 26th, September at lunch time. I did not know what to expect as this was my first time at the restaurant. So I decided to play it safe and went with one of the lunch specials, I Choose the Jerk Chicken with rice and peas. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the food. The Seasoning /flavoring of the dish was on point!! The Jerk Chicken was moist perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection with just the perfect balance of smoke! The rice was and peas played a strong supporting roll. I was so impressed by the quality of the food and the service that I went back in and purchased an order of Oxtail Rice and Peas meal to take home and share with my family. The next time that I am in Orangeville I will definitely make it a priority to stop in and pick up dinner for my family! Warm and friendly hosts!!

The store does not answer the phone consistently and sometimes will answer and put you on hold for 10+ minutes without returning to the call. If you try calling back the line will too often go straight to voicemail. Unacceptable. Typical service I would expect in Brampton!

Was craving Jamaican food but do not have a Jamaican restaurant in my town so I decided to stop here and it did not disappoint. Got an oxtail and jerk chicken with rice and peas and it was phenomenal.

Portions for the price is excellent. Tasted awesome and I will be coming back.

I order 2lbs of jerk chicken paid for 2pounds and when I got home I got 2 containers with 3 pieces each put it on my food scale it was not even a pound.I had high hope for this place and was so disappointed

Orangeville is lucky to have this! Delicious food, big portions (I went for the large), prepared in a more healthy way than I usually find in Toronto, all of which I am thankful for. I had the salt fish and ackee and bought some Jamaican imported snacks, and I will be back to try more off the menu and in the store!

This place is an absolute gem. The Jerk chicken, the bean rice (even better the next day when I make myself a breakfast bowl using the leftovers), and my husband just brought me jerk chicken poutine - SO reasonably priced, and I dont even really like poutine, and I just DEVOURED it. A+

Their curried goat is very authentic and fall off the bone at a great price. I also get a choice of mild or spicy as an added bonus. I crave it every day.

Tried Ackee and Saltfish for my first time ever and OMG. Amazing. I m addicted. The service was very friendly and great atmosphere. Also the store has many nostalgic finds like peanut punch and many wonderful sauces. Great place, would recommend! Orangevilles best Jamaican restaurant!

Definitely one of my favorite jerk spots! If Im in orangeville or even near it, Im trying to stop by for a meal. Chicken is always juicy and tender and full of flavour! Rice and peas always perfect and their oxtail gravey is super yummy! I always grab the jerk, but just by the gravey I can tell the oxtail is going to be fire too! Next visit Ill have to finally try it

I got a lunch meal that included there barbi fried chicken. Food was really good and the service was good as well. Rice and peas were on point!

As a Jamaican, I can vouche they are doing Jerk Chicken the right way! You can taste the subtle smoked chicken flavour plus Jamaican spices straight to the bone.

Loaded with protein, you are certainly getting your money s worth. Price is a little steep; but with the quality of ingredient and calibre of flavour, it 100% worth it.

I really wanted to find good authentic Jamaican food and I searched Google and found this restaurant and I am so glad I did the food is cooked properly. The service was great. I would strongly recommend that you come to this place and you check it out for yourself. And believe me youre talking to someone who knows how to cook well, Caters and the host of many many parties so I know what Im saying. The one thing that I would suggest but its not a downside by any means necessary but a little bit more dining area would be great.

I love this place. My whole pregnancy I was craving them. I live 3 hours away, anytime I come to the city, we definitely make time to get some of their awesome food and amazing atmosphere.

I was at the restaurant yesterday evening on June 15, 2023 to order jerk chickens and oxtail meal. All the foods I ordered were amazing and delicious despite the fact that I was their towards the closing time. The gentleman who served me was polite, friendly and professional. Prices of my meals were reasonable and the portions were humongous. I m definitely going back to order food here again. I m willingly to give them more than 5 stars. 10/10 for my ratings.

Was craving jerk chicken and this was the first place to pop up by my house, so i decided to try it. They didn t have any beef patty s ready but she told me to try the chicken. It didn t even make it the car ride home it was that good. The jerk chicken was cooked perfectly. Amazing food. Would drive out of my way to come back for more.

I ordered takeout, curry chicken roti. The chicken and potato, soaked up with the gravy are so tender! You can see bits of the pepper and thyme. Perfect heat from the pepper. I would highly recommend Topville.

Food is incredibly good. I bought the jerk chicken punch special with fried plantains and a bottled drink. Came out to about 16$. I had leftovers. Chicken is so tender and well spiced. I do wish it had a bit more luck but its really great regardless. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: One or two options.

It was great to find a Jamaican restaurant thats open on a Sunday. I stopped in and purchased a curry goat meal. The goat was seasoned perfectly. The portion size was great. The grocery section of the store was an added bonus. This was my first time in this establishment. Ill certainly return for more meals in the near future.

Easily one of the best Jamaican restaurants in Orangeville since soul lyve was around. The food is always fresh so therefore taste wonderful. Topville is also amazing at carrying grocery items directly from Jamaica for a nostalgic shopping experience. #1 in Orangeville!

Boneless goat the best

Topville is essential in Orangeville. Beyond the food being the best Caribbean food I ve had in years, even rivalling neighbouring cities like Brampton, the service is unparalleled and they are actually open when anything else is closed. This should is and should remain a staple in Orangeville.

Best roti in town by far! Don t be afraid to order medium or spicy, I ordered mild the first time because I was scared it would it would be too hot but it s not. Feels like a good hearty home cooked meal and I crave it often. I haven t tried anything else here yet because my mind is always on the roti! The only reason I m giving 4 stars and not 5 is because I haven t tried anything else. This is my comfort food and will definitely be continuing to return.

We had a renovatio project in Orangeville and this place was amazing. We visited over and over. They were friendly, the food was good, and the place was clean.

Friendly service, food tasted well and the price was good for the portion size.

Had the jerk chicken dinner and it was amazing. Large portions, will definitely fill you. I also the bone out curry goat roti, very tender and very filling. These are a definite must try if you havent already. Then too top off the super creamy rum/ raisin ice cream. The perfect treat after these dishes. The people are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Food is great.. only downfall is they never have some menu items such as the jerk breast or pasta salad which are both delicious and it s unfortunate they never have it. Not sure why it s even on the menu. Hopefully they can bring those items more often.

A big thank you to the employees/owners! I ordered right before closing two beef Pattie s and an order of breadfruit. My husband went to pick up the order and upon arrival the owner came out and immediately joyfully greeted my husband and provided him with free food while he waited for our order to be completed. They gave us 3 extra food items complimentary as they didn t have what I originally wanted to order left in stock. The customer service was beyond exceptional! The hospitality was greatly appreciated and we will definitely be coming back.

This place has so much to offer - the staff is so helpful and accommodating to my vegan diet. My boyfriend got the jerk chicken and he said it was great and the staff was friendly. Since my dad started working from home he has missed having his chicken roti lunches, and has tried to find a comparable place to the one he goes to in Missasauga- but sadly all the places we have tried around here have not impressed him- until today. Topville you guys impressed him and his words exactly were the best roti in Orangeville. For a fantastic price our mouths were hit with fantastic flavour! And our bellys are happy and full. The gentleman I dealt with when picking up our order was kind, and the enviornment is very clean. We cant wait to order again! Such a great addition to the Orangeville area.

We ordered jerk, goat, stewed peas and food was delicious. Not overly salted unlike many Caribbean foods we have had. As for groceries, purchased spiced bun, coconut cookies and julie mangos. Great food, service and selection. Safety protocal followed and was very clean. Recommend!

Fantastic food. Family combos are great value and an awesome way to try lots of their menu items to share with fam. The jerk chicken had a great Smokey smell and packed lots of flavour with the perfect kick to it (didn t taste smokey however). The oxtail was melting off the bone and we loved dipping our dumplings in the sauce. The biggest surprise was their BBQ chicken; to us it was like candied BBQ sauced KFC that was more tender and not greasy? It was a hit. Can t wait to grab another combo when we can safely picnic it at island lake!

Im in love with the food and grocery here. They have lots of items that I grew up with and its almost a nostalgic experience everytime Ive gone inside. From the grocery side: I always get some bulla bread and a big bag of plantain chips.. if I was drinking pop Id get a few chubbys too !! Oh my goodness I used to take those to school as a kid and we always had them in our home so seeing them brings back so many memories (I didnt even know they still existed lol). When hubby and I have ordered food: we have gotten the BBQ chicken, fried chicken, rice and peas, plantain, coleslaw, festival, pasta salad. All I can say is everything is amazing !!! So yummy, so authentic, good portions for the price and just great, Ill probably be getting some today ! Awesome local business, kind people and great quality.

We had the jerk chicken roti and goat curry roti which were both delicious! Lovely spice blend. The beef-bean-veggie daily soup/stew that we enjoyed the following day was perfect...was that black cardamon we tasted? And thank you for your fresh squeezed ginger drink... I felt its anti inflammatory magic and cant wait for the fresh carrot juice this summer:D We bought for the kids a few days later and theyre raving!!! Glad youre in Orangeville.

Ordered the take-out food but poked around the store while take-out was cooking. If you are looking for Jamaican ingredients this place might have it. Take-out was awesome. Curried goat roti seemed to be popular as every customer there was also ordering it. Top shelf and very enjoyable. Stewed chicken with rice and peas was also very good. Way too much food for 2 people, could have easily fed 4. Will definitely be back for more roti and try other items on menu, and to use the free meal card provided too.

This is the second time we have eaten here. Great food both times.The staff is friendly and my order was ready on time. Im used to spicy foods, but OV be cautious asking for the spicy option because its hot. The flavour was good though. Read some reviews about the seasoning not sure what was ordered but we had jerk chicken dinner the first time, and second time the curry chicken roti. Our daughter had the fried chicken and peas & rice. We Definitely will eat here again. Great to have another Caribbean restaurant in town.

Phenomenal food and service.

The facility is very clean. My wife had the oxtail and I had a boneless goat roti. Both were delicious. My only recommendation is that they seem to have microwaved the Roti to get it hot but that made the pastry shell tough in places. You really cant do that with most types of pastries and Doughs. But we will be back

Yes the food prepared in jamaica has 2x the amount of scotch bonet peppers than what this resturant uses but that would change all these 5 star reviews into oh my gosh, this place is too spicey dis place aint no mainshas so dont be chatin bout it like dat. ya zimmi

Great food and amazing people. Tried this for the first time, had the chicken roti and bbq chicken dinner. Both were amazing. Not sure what some people are saying about the quality of roti. The roti was fluffy and perfectly proportioned. Like with any roti wrapping sauce, you probably want to eat it shortly after ordering or it ll get soggy. We ll definitely be going back!

Ordered chicken curry roti and it was amazing, the best I have ever had! I got spicy and it was just that, Perfect! The portion was good too, My son ordered the jerk chicken with r&p, and he enjoyed it too! Highly recommend trying!
