Going downhill, gradually. First - the burgers. Used to be excellent but unfortunately one day the burgers we ordered were not eatable, to our shock. The waiter explained that they using now different supplier- used to be Champs. Well, we continued to keep coming because of the good beer and my favourite- Greek salad. One of the best in town. My recent two visits were total disappointment- the salad for magical reason was again barely eatable- very sour. So my decision is to pull the plug and stop going there. Keep up the good job guys, 😂😂
Ordered Corn Beef Reuben $19+t and French Onion Soup $9+t. The Reuben's sauce tasted different thus the whole sandwich lost it's classic taste. The sauce possibly had dill in it but I am not sure. The FO soup was subpar. The previous reviews complained about the soup being too salty which I agree with; would not recommend. This staple Parisian soup is suppose to be balanced between sweet and savoury and it's a myth that it should be salty. I would try other things on the menu but not order those again. The service was a bit slow but it was the long weekend Monday so that's okay. The atmosphere was good and our server Tyler was very nice and attentive. I would recommend this place for a good drinking atmosphere (has one tv) but not sure about the food. I say stick with their popular food items like burgers and wings possibly for less disappointments. They have certain days specials - pic below. They also have a nice patio.
We visited this place initially with our new pup and were turned away as their lower patio that allows dogs was full (unfortunately with patrons who didn’t have dogs with them, leaving many upper tables in the “no dog zone” empty). We returned the following week and glad we did as their food was great! The sundried chicken linguine was tasty and the steak sandwich was excellent!
We went for a lazy Sunday lunch. The food was good, no-nonsense affair with all the typical dishes you'd expect. We ended up with the Creek Burger and the Fish (Haddock) and Chips. The burger had a "home-made" quality, meaning it wasn't an oily/greasy mess. The gravy accompanying the fries was excellent. The fish was well cooked but perhaps slightly under seasoned. The coleslaw was another highlight. The staff was pleasant, but service was slightly slow in terms of getting the food out. All in all, this is a great establishment and one to checkout when in Orangeville.
Stopped into Mill Creek for lunch when passing through Orangeville. Loved the atmosphere, with a large patio and lots of TVs for sports - and the place has a large selection of beers on tap! Maureen was great to our group and gave me a solid recommendation to try the pulled pork flatbread which was delicious and had a lot of meat. Also loved to see that the place still had some barriers up to protect patrons between booths. Glad we spent the one meal in Orangeville here!
Overall the experience was OK. The interior of the building has dark features but is well lit. The service gives you a lot of time to socialize with your company without making you feel as though you are waiting too long which is nice. The drink selection is commendable however on the day my friend and I went they were out of our first requested beer selections: unfortunate, but we both found alternatives that we were happy with. I ordered the shrimp bruschetta pasta while my friend had the baked bacon mac and cheese as shown in the photos with this review. My dish was underwhelming for the following reasons: I found it to be very oily, with very little flavour to compensate, the most notable was the tomato which is disappointing because I very much like a nice pesto, but this pesto lacked any substance. The pasta was also very soft, overcooked in my opinion. My friend was also disappointed in his mac and cheese, this leads me to believe that pastas are not their strongest suit, perhaps their pub classics would've been a better choice but I want to eat what I want to eat. Overall, it wasn't my favourite, but I found it acceptable enough for the town in which it is situated as there aren't a plethora of dining options in Orangeville. The ambiance and the competence of the waitstaff definitely do the location favours.
Ordered Haddock & Chips, and the Chicken Club Burger, both arrived quick and hot. Loved the Chicken Burger, the batter on the Haddock was underdone slightly once you broke through with a fork, the fish was cooked. All and all a good large portion meal. Pub was busy during lunch hour, sound really carries here. Fries were presalted, and ketchup was French's if that matters to you. Parking in the street can be sparse, but a short walk and you are bound to find a spot. Service was great.
Have been to this place twice on trips coming home through Orangeville. Both time my wife and I have shared the Spin Dip and a order of fish and chips. Both times, it was exceptional. Also, great friendly staff.
Food was bland and tasteless, same as the tartar sauce of the fish and chips. Portion is very average. Wont be coming back again. Food : 2/5
Excellent half rack of ribs
What a great place ! We stopped here after a hike through Mono Cliffs and I have to say the customer service was great ! Food was fantastic and they had a dog friendly patio which was a bonus. Highly recommend the spinach dip !

Good food, a bit pricey. Good service. The restaurant is clean and cozy. It is worth to stop by. Parking: Theres parallel parking on the one-way street beside the restaurant and a municipal parking lot about 3 minutes walk down the road.
The food is bad and the venue is terribly understaffed. The single waitress was actually taken off in an ambulance with heart palpitations half way through service due to stress. The tomato sauce on the chicken Parmesan tasted burnt and horrible. The fish was just ok with bad, soggy chips. Even the beer was off. Would not return.
Wow. This place has become our favorite stop on the way home from places. This is our 3rd time we have stopped to eat here. And it was extra special and they had live music on the patio. Greg Kowalczyk was the musician and he played a variety of Bluesy songs our whole family loved it. The food was also top notch. I highly recommend going here weather you live here or are traveling though it great.
Zero stars if that is possible!!! It says they have wheelchair parking and bathroom but you cannot get in as there are stairs everywhere. I cannot believe that in 2024 we still have places that will not even attempt to accommodate persons with disabilities. 100% will not recommend!

Delicious beer and food
Service was good. Food was okay and a but overpriced. I will probably try other pubs in Orangeville before going back. Also, the calamari is very overpriced for the amount that you get , and it was decent. Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps when you walk in. Not wheelchair or stroller accessible unless you have someone to help you.
Some of the worst if not the absolute worst food I ve ever had. Came here on 2 occasions hoping the one time was a 1 off but no. Both times we went the food was absolutely horrendous. Will never eat here again

Me and my friends went there last Sunday after hiking for 3 hours, the food was great and the server Brooklyn is really nice, it was packed but she still had a smile on her face, she communicated well with our orders and was able to get everything correct. The only reason I put 4 star is because of the food portions, the fries were a small amount which was disappointing but so far the ribs that we ate is amazing! PS. oh and it s a dog friendly restaurant! we ate in the patio with our two dogs!
Had lunch here for my moms birthday and it was fabulous. The staff and were nice and helpful, the food and service was great.The atmosphere is nice and making the reservation for the group was smooth and easy. Im sure I will be back.

All I have to say is heather is amazing!!! This is a Small town - BUT managing an event including guests that live out town - you get a planner and eye to detail that costs thousands. THANK YOU!!! Expect everything plus more with her management skills

Today my family gathered at Mill Creek Pub for a celebration of life. We could not have asked for better service from our server, Maurine, I hope I spelled her name correctley. She had 25 of us to deal with and did an excellent by herself. The food was fantastic. Thank very much Maurien.
Run down looking, and the menu is not very inspired. Wait staff seemed disinterested. Asked about one item, (is you XXXXX good?) and was told how it is was made, and then, if thats your thing, I guess itll be good. Food was.fine, fries where excellent! Patio looks like it needs some love. Been here, done this, no need for a repeat visit.

Jazz Festival weekend so it was understandable that the service was a bit slow. However after a reasonable wait, the food was really disappointing. $18 nachos were the size youd expect if ordered as a side dish, other dishes clearly reheated from frozen. Ending up eating from a food truck after having lunch here. Not planning to go back.
Terrible food... Everything was greasy. The grilled cheese was very thin cheese used. When you opened the sandwich it was hardly visible. The service was fast and friendly. We visited to meet friends in the area and to see the duo playing on the patio during what is probably the busiest weekend of the year: The Orangeville Blues & Jazz Fest. The place was packed, but we got a seat with our friends right away, and were close to the stage. The staff did a great job under the very busy conditions, and made us feel welcome. And the entertainment was top notch: Dee & Dave Duo. I hope they come back; we will arrange to visit our Orangeville buddies to coincide with their next gig there!

Had my wifes Birthday party here, and it couldnt have gone any better. All the guests raved about the venue, food and service. It was a great event. Highly recommend this for your next gathering.

We just held my daughters engagement party at The Mill Creek Pub and couldnt have asked for anything better. A huge thank you to our servers, Kayla and Erin. This was my wifes and Is 40th Valentines Day celebration. We felt that we were treated with disinterest and long wait for service. I had to contact the hostess to get someone to take our order after a long wait. The server was cordial. We were presented with a Valentines Day menu of limited selection and very expensive prices. I was given their usual menu when I requested it. The atmosphere was flat and indifferent generally with one server ignoring me as I stood waiting for my bill for several minutes. The food quality was good although very expensive for a modest pub. We will never return and I discourage anyone else from given this pub their business.

Hair!!! Blonde colour ( not because of the pasta sauce) to be exact!!!! I have a very dark hair didn t address to waiter because they might think I just wanted discount but I just wanted to share so it wasn t ignored as if it never happened disappointed and disgusted (I felt puking after the discovery) and still paid my food as if this wasn t discovered during my stay, because I just didn t want to be treated badly in front of my company (my son). The servers/the ones preparing the food need extra hair net if not worn already

Food was amazing! Tacos were more than satisfying and tasty. Calamari was the best we ve ever had. Caesar salad was fresh and perfectly proportioned with ingredients. Beer was cold and Guinness poured perfectly. Olivia was a very attentive and friendly server. The Chef really knows what she s doing. 5 star! Will definitely go back if we are in Orangeville again

The food was good and the staff was friendly. The only issue is we had an entire hockey team that had pre-ordered all meals days before but the food still took a lot longer and delayed the teams arrival. Otherwise a great place for good food!

This pub is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their beer selection. The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this pub for a casual night out or a fun gathering with friends.

We had a party of 25 here and the staff were Phenomenal, especially Heather and Chelsea!! The food was Hot and fresh and excellent. My wife and I enjoyed our first visit here for dinner. The food and service was very good. Good selection of beers on tap. The decor and atmosphere is ok. We had calamari, wings and ribs and all tasted great. Definitely will come back.

Waited almost an hour for food when we had 2 little children. Ordered grilled cheese for the kids and the fries came with tons of pepper on them. Kids couldnt eat them. The grilled cheese was made with pumpernickel or rye bread and for an adult thats awesome but for kids who do not have developed taste buds they would not eat it. Asked for gravy for my fries and was told they ran out. Said they had to make more and it was 50/50 if I would receive it. I did eventually get gravy with my meal but it was probably cause it was an hour later. I ordered the Burger and it was excellent. Wife ordered BBQ chicken flat bread and it was excellent. Portions were also great. But overall experience with kids was terrible. Will never return. Would have gave 1 star but cause my meal and wifes meal was tasty I gave it 2 stats.

Ordered through skip the dishes. French onion soup cold, Greek salad was a garden salad with no feta or olives, cheese cake of the day was a small tiny sliver. Chicken parm and pasta very small Portion. Chicken club had mixed salad on it absolutely no dressing. Tacos were gross. Very disappointed in their food tonight. I won t be ordering or going there again.
Seated several guests knowing there s an event happening and the kitchen isn t serving food. Ordered a burger combo probably the simplest item on the menu and over an hour later we were told they haven t started making it. If you re in Orangeville, don t waste your time going here. Left the restaurant and never got the food. At least I got my Pepsi. Too bad it was flat. Taphouse across the street is way better service is great and food is great. Live music on Sunday is awesome. Mill Creek put a good demonstration on for how to not run a restaurant

Staff friendly, was in on Wednesday I ordered the Reuben sandwich it was missing sauerkraut, and mustard as well as Swiss cheese. There was cheese on it but I didnt think it was Swiss. I ate it but Id never order it again
Today was the last day of Blues and Jazz, we were excited to show our out of town friends around the town. We go to the Mill only to be given our food on paper plates, had to ask for cutlery (one of us had pasta so I guess they wanted him to burn his hands). The waitress acted like we were just a chore, the light over the table was dusty and there was dust flying everywhere. We spent $100 there, and it wasnt worth it at all. Im so disappointed with the entire experience, I wish I could give one good comment but there was none. We ordered pasta (bland), a burger (burnt and bun was smeared with butter), chicken wings that I had to put the sauce on myself and chicken nuggets that tasted frozen.

Got a rueben sandwich and fries, take out. Meat was very moist and stacked high. There could have been a bit more mustard but thats more of my personal preference. Will definitely visit again

I recently had a very nice patio dining experience here. The service was great; fast and friendly. This restaurant is conveniently located as well. I ordered the vegan burger with sweet potato fries and it was quite good. Reasonably priced too. It s nice that they offer this option to those with dietary restrictions/allergies, although an additional fully plant-based option or two would have been amazing.

Yummy food!
Everyone so incredibly kind. Especially when sharing my own recent personal experiences with losing a loved one. Then entire staff made me feel like home. The food is incredible and enjoying the patio is amazing. The night life music with live bands can make your dining choice exciting and fun. Thank you all for allowing me to remember how Orangeville has the best hospitality north.

Have gone here many times over the years and have always enjoyed! Visited recently and it was excellent! Our server attentive, funny and professional. I wish I got her name, she deserves the praise. I had the shrimp pasta and thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly recommend! Sangria was delicious;))

We had a lovely, spontaneous dinner here and the service was great. Big portions for both dinners - macaroni and cheese and chicken club sandwich.
I have been going to this restaurant for over 3 years and have always had a great experience until yesterday evening. My food came out cold and we waited almost 45 mins for it. The food didn t taste as good as it usually does and I didn t want to complain because it seemed like service was slow anyways. Very unfortunate because it was our regular spot for pub food. Will not be returning after yesterdays experience.

We were coming from Brampton because it was recommended by a friend. Called ahead to ask if they allowed dogs on their patio. The person who answered the phone put me on hold and a manager came on. I told her the size of our frenchie and she said: yes, youll have to sit in the bottom floor patio. Perfect! We drove 40 min; upon arriving we were told only service dogs were allowed on premises. Thankfully the pub across the street, Taphouse craft beer and kichen, were happy to accept our patronage. Great food too!

Nice attractive side street restaurant with patio downtown Orangeville. Very friendly orofessional staff. Our server Elaine ticked all the boxes as a well trained professional server. We ate lunch style food and it was great. Great Haddock, a very large piece properly cooked great taters.

We celebrated my dad s 80th birthday with 28 guests in a private space upstairs. The food was fabulous, the service was exceptional and it all went off without any problems. We will definitely be returning soon for the awesome salmon dish and it will be a hard pick between apple blossom or cheesecake !!! Thank you Mill Creek Pub
I had my fathers 80th bday there. The service was exceptional. Food hot and delicious. Our server was amazing, personable, and efficient. She personally connected with our family and all our needs. We will definately be returning for future events and a fun night out.
This place use to be fairly good. But this last time changed our minds. Service was very good but we were literally the only ones there at 6pm so servicebhad better be good. The menu selection has been reduced and there wasnt a lot lb of good or healthy foods to select from. The meal was okay at best so we were disappointed and likely will not return again. Prices were what they are now a days, stupidly expensive, especially for mediocre quality food. But everywhere is expensive nowadays. So if you dont have quality to justify the price, then goodbye Parking: On a busy night be prepared to walk a little bit

Went during blues and jazz on the Friday it wasn t too busy inside but we had waitresses passing by us for about 40 minutes so we ended up leaving. The next day I managed to get in with my friends and I wanted the pulled pork sandwich. The only thing is that it came with coleslaw on top of the sandwich, I had asked to not have coleslaw with it and was told no by my waitress. She told me that even if she informed the cooks that they would still put it on . Doesn t really make sense to me how you can t accommodate considering it s an extra step to add coleslaw to it and what if someone had an allergy. Ended up ordering something else the food was fine but the service kind of sucked.
Decided to take our family here for my birthday lunch. Kids meals were all good. Ordered the ribs and wings. Wings were hot and tasty. Ribs were served cold. Stone cold. Sent them back and were just reheated in the microwave. Very disappointed. I will say our waitress julia was fantastic! Unfortunately wont recommend or be returning.

This is our second visit to the restaurant and I will be wrong if I say I don t drive 50 kms just for the food. The live music and the ambiance is just the added touch you would need for a perfect dining experience. Hat s off to the staff and the cooks. Great service and overall the best pub in the town

The food wasnt fantastic but it wasnt terrible either. The vegan burger was bland and I commend them for having a vegan option but that was the only vegan option on the menu.

Amazing food. Everything was delicious. We got the onion soup, fish and chips, ravioli and chicken sandwich. For dessert we tried the moca baileys cheesecake which was amazing as well.
What an incredible experience! The waitress was very welcoming and attentive to our needs, the food was delivered in a timely manner and was delicious, and the ambience was cozy and inviting. I absolutely recommend it!

One of my favourite restaurants in Orangeville. Casual atmosphere and everything Ive ever ordered has been very good. I love their house salad. And they have a great patio in summer.

Little pricey
I visited Mill Creek for the first time as it was highly recommended by my friends, and honestly, this place didnt disappoint. Located in a quaint little town of Orangeville, this place has amazing food and service. My favorite was the Spinach Raviolli with ricotta stuffing in rose sauce. Being a vegetarian, it is difficult to find good pasta dishes but this was . Definitely dining here again. 10/10 for a good hangout with family and friends.

Great place to enjoy food and drinks
I got the steak sandwich with fries. Sandwich was flavorful and the fries had the right amount of crispnes. My partner got a Greek salad and the ravioli, which he said was delicious. Our server was also great and I enjoyed my sangria. Will definitely be back.
