This place has the greatest service anyone can possibly ask for. Our server Lorna was exceptionally very welcoming and made our experience one to remember!

First time here, and came from Ancaster to try this out with my Lady. Absolutely phenomenal food and service. Great portion sizes and good value. The eggs benedict were amazing, and the side bacon was actually real thick and meaty and prepared to perfection. The french toast was out of this world delicious, too! Highly recommend making this a stop for great food and service!

I was there with a group and of the things we ordered the stand outs were the burger (made fresh), onion rings (nice and crispy not soggy) and turkey sandwich (very generous with the turkey). If youd like to support a great local restaurant this place is a 10/10! OMG!! we decided to try this restaurant because of the review that was done on Lorna, and what do you know she was our server she had us laughing the whole time we were there.Shes a delightful person, courteous, polite and very funny. The breakfast was delicious.

This is not just another diner. The food was great. Our server was exceptional. The owner clearly has a true passion for this. Ask about the feed it forward program. I wish I lived closer.

The food was expensive and just not very good. I was picking bad pieces of lettuce out of my Cobb salad and it was more lettuce than anything else. My friends burger was dry and tasteless. Will not be returning.

Went with a party of 8, very small restaurant but nice place overall. However, most of the food was overcooked or burnt. The gravy I had was obviously old and disgusting. Shame because i expected better based on other reviews. UPDATE: thank you to the restaurant for replying to my review. I don t know how to reply back but I ll just respond this way. My dinner service was not from today but from another time this summer. I m a chef myself and can tell when gravy is old and reused. Other than that we did not send anything back because we were all very hungry from a long trip and didn t want to ruin a busy service. Maybe I will visit another time when I am in the area and have a different experience.

The best breakfast hash I ve had in a long time. And their eggs Benedict poutine was devoured in 2.3 minutes. Prices are fair. Most importantly, there is a server there named Lorna who is maybe the best server and most wonderful human I have ever met. I would die for Lorna. She should be the Mayor of Orangeville. She is the mayor of my HEART! No this is not a friend or family member of Lorna. This is me, a stranger, who immediately recognized how badass Lorna was.

All the staff are superstars but Ashley is the biggest superstar Deja vu has! She is super friendly, super efficient, and an all round super person! Its an absolute joy eating here. The atmosphere is fantastic and lots of fun and joking around. Everything else is five star! Love love love it!

Very sorry to give only one star. Im sure its better than that. However, we drove all the way out from stouffville on Sunday morning, only to find the place dark and cold. 2 different signs said its open from 7am on Sunday, as did the website. It was closed and locked not even a note on the door..

From the hostess, to the waiting room staff to the waitress, the service is outstanding! The staff seem to really enjoy their jobs and there is care and attention in everything they do. The food was amazing with large portions. There is a wait on the weekends but it is well worth it. The pay it forward program is just the cherry on top for the fantastic place.

I wasn t impressed with the overall experience. They don t tell you if there is an added cost to anything, just bring it to you and tack it on the bill. They also advertise free coffee on Tuesdays but because I didn t order a feature breakfast, it didn t count. Really? I still had breakfast and paid extra for onions and gluten free bread. As for the place, it is extremely outdated and is in great need of a facelift. The food was good, but not good enough for a $ 42 breakfast for 2. Dietary restrictions: They don t tell you they have gluten free bread unless you ask. You don t know how much extra it is unless you ask.

WORTH THE DRIVE TO ORANGEVILLE!!! I set out on an adventure to drive across the GTA and up to Orangeville to try this diner as seen on IG. It was worth every km of gas! And I would do it again! 3 words: Cinnamon Bun Pancakes. #JesusWept We ordered the Breakfast Combos, which we couldnt finish. Yes those ate platters, not plates. Next time, I just need pancakes. It was our first time coming to this diner, we are avid Stacked breakfast patrons but wanted to give this restaurant a try due to its ratings. First of all the greeter at the door had no clue about anything related to menu offerings. I inquired about allergens. The greeter proceeded to take my single question to the waitress who very rudely and loudly announced, where is the lady with all the questions?....like wow. Im sorry, how dare I ask about the food you serve. We were seated and when asked what we would like to drink; we asked for water and the waitress clarified twice that we were only getting water in a condescending way. We wanted to share a dish and were told to change seating to be able to share. Grown adults need not be directed on where to sit or how to share food...period. That is not your call. The kids were not served their juice boxes, when i waved down another waitress she asked me what I wanted as if I had a list of all flavors and should automatically tell her. The staff dealing with customers need further training hospitality and service and just basic manners. I am happy to spend my money elsewhere. The two scrambled eggs servings that I got were quite possibly from the smallest eggs ever lol and were skimpy with the cheeses. The flavors are meh, the service is awful and the ambience is outdated. For the 7 of us that came, this will be our last time.

I had the best time with my partner at this restaurant. My server was exceptional. She went the extra mile of gathering for information about my gluten tolerance, offered me recommendations, and informed me about their gluten free food preparation practices. Arguably the best breakfast and service in town. Good coffee, The food is fresh, the seasoned hashbrowns are perfect, fresh homemade jam, bread from cobs I mean what else could you want? Not to mention the kindness and attention by the staff is the cherry on top!

Weve been coming here for years now. The food is pretty good and its consistent, and prices have stayed reasonable during inflation. What really makes this place though is the staff. Theyre fantastic. Everyone is incredibly nice, they get to know regulars, and they really care about your experience. If youre keto, gluten free, or vegan theyll accomodate you (with actual food, not a pile of tomatoes on a plate). They also have a store attached where they sell frozen meats, coffee, and their own soups. If you want to go out for good diner food with great people and not be completely gouged, try this place, you wont regret it.

I was refused service on my first Father s Day because I brought my newborn in a stroller. Strollers aren t prohibited in this family friendly restaurant. This was the only breakfast restaurant my wife and I would go to in town. Donated countless times to their feed it forward initiative. Donated several toys to Christmas drives. Totally disappointed. Will not ever come back.

Seating in the middle of the restaurant affords no voice privacy. By sitting two feet away from a customer on other side of low partition they can hear every word of your conversation. Spoke to owner Jennifer Betz about this and she could care less. I suggested a 1 clear acrylic addition to top the barrier and she said it wasnt aesthetically right. I was really surprised with her somewhat rude attitude. She told me then dont listen to their conversations. That was a dumb response. She is the owner and can do what she wants . She just wants to jam people in her place at any cost. Go for it Jenny but it wont include me. There are several restaurants in Orangeville. I know Jenny will reply and say I am over reacting. So what.

What an amazing experience altogether! Ive been wanting to try Deja Vu Diner for a long time and I finally had my chance and dont regret it one bit. I brought my aunt with me, was greeted at the door by a friendly woman, and seated. Right away our server Ashley came to our table, and brought our tasty coffee in a good-sized mug! Was very patient with us deciding on our meal, and she made suggestions that turned out to be exactly what we were extremely happy with! Both our meals were just under 20 bucks! We also went into the store they have and bought a box of frozen chicken breasts, very tender btw. We have now found our new breakfast place

Absolutely the best family restaurant ever been to! The moment you walk in you are greeted with smiles. Our family of 6 were treated like we were family! We didnt wait long to be served. What stood out to me was how they support local businesses, even the coffee mugs have local businesses advertising! There is so much great things to say about this lovely restaurant. We will definitely come back when we are in the area and tell friends and family to eat here! Kid-friendliness: There were families there with children of all ages and it felt very comforting to see that. Our own children noted they saw other children.

Amazing! Highly recommend! We were visiting Orangeville for the day and had lunch/brunch here. The portions are huge and delicious!!! Fresh, made to order and the homemade ham is a must have and also available for purchase!! Butter tarts are also a must try and absolutely the best!! Service was phenomenal and so friendly! Ive been eating here for about 5 years now, so this review is long overdue. In general the food, service, and atmosphere have all been exceptional with each visit. Portion sizes are noteworthy as well whether you dine in, or get takeout. That being said, one server in particular has been consistently great, and thats Hailey. Its difficult to bring your A game to work every day, but she does so without fail for years which I think is admirable. Her smile and positive energy is infectious and uplifting. She treats everyone the same way, and the overall experience is something you just dont get in the city. I also appreciate her because she is the reason there are vegan options on the menu, and thats why I will always keep coming back! Went for a brunch, tried the Andrew s and Crab Cake Benny, they were delicious! Ashey s service was over the top, she went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we asked for! We are an hour away and came here while on our way back home from a camping trip, but we will definitely be back just for the brunch!

We came for a lare breakfast/early lunch and as usual, the food simply did not fail to impress! You must have the loaded hashbrowns, yummy! Although i ended up with breakfast, still finished the meal with the pecan buttertart and like wow is all i can say. And the service, we had Ashley and she was fantastic, coffee was never empty and service was great We will be back for sure!

With a number of standard, lackluster chain diners having popped up in town (check my other reviews for one of them), support a local business instead! This place has a great breakfast and lunch menu, including a few hidden treats. The service is always with a smile and you feel like everybody who works there really appreciates your business... especially Ashley ;) The food comes out super quick and always warm. The quality and taste is better than I can make at home. If it wasnt, I would be there one or two times every week. Little touches like homemade strawberry jam make you feel more welcome than at any chain restaurant. Oh, and most importantly, my coffee is never empty!

She is super friendly, attentive, and awesome (that last part came from my 5 year old daughter and I agree with her). Deja Vu Diner is the place to go for a traditional breakfast experience. Two of us in our family are vegan and one is a meat eater and we can all order a delicious meal. The vegan hash is our go to as it contains protein and veggies. Our son loves the regular hash. We love that we can eat a meal out that satisfies all of us. Can you say drool! We had heard about this restaurant and the experience did not disappoint! They serve a cinnamon bun pancake that was out of this world delicious! I so enjoyed this Diner and was pleasantly surprised by the staff. It was my first time in Orangeville and this Diner. I was amazed that they had vegan options for myself and non-vegan options for my child. Everything was amazing but the best part was our server HAILEY. Hailey was so helpful, attentive, friendly and had the best attitude I have ever encountered in the service industry. All her recommendations were spot on and yummy. On top of all that her coworkers were great too which included the person that brought our food and the person that greeted us when we first walked in.

Such a pleasure to go to a restaurant that actually gives great customer service. This is a true rarity these days. In fact if you run a restaurant and wish to learn how an extremely attentive and efficient staff works, you should visit this small diner. There was not a single moment that I was kept waiting or my coffee was not kept full. All this when the place was packed and very busy. I had steak and eggs and the food is good, the prices reasonable and the portions generous. This place is everything that a breakfast diner should be. This is now my go to place for breakfast.

Fantastic breakfast joint. The home fries are super delicious, same with the sausage and eggs. Service is friendly, quick and lots of energy. There little store attached to the restaurant has some very good deals and selection of frozen meats, dessert great for dinner

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Ample food on each serving and delicious pancakes and French toast! So bring your appetite and some patience for how busy they are. Once sat service is good and coffee will flow. Ample parking in the back. Parking: Head to the back if full in front.

Our experience at the Deja Vu Diner was excellent. Our server Tori greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. She was both friendly, helpful and she did an amazing job. We had the breakfast poutine which was very filling, and was delicious. The coffee was very good. The atmosphere is pleasant and casual, and we highly recommend eating here.

Gave this place a 4th try. Yes 4th. 3prior times. Incorrect or not enough of order. Today the owner gave our table away to the people that came in 5 minutes after us. Don t believe we will try a 5th time.

Breakfast and service was above average. The cinnamon pancake is a must try but I would get the icing on the side next time.

It s rare to me come here and right a review, but yesterday it really surpass our expectations! Our server Ashley really contributed to our amazing experience, and the food was also amazing, good served classic breakfast, everything that we order surprised our expectations and was very delicious! Definitely we ll return!

We have an informal breakfast club and we love trying out different breakfast places across town and a bit on the outskirts. One of our friends/member saw this place on Tik Tok and decided this would be our next stop. It was about a 50 min drive from Mississauga but it was a quiet drive with not much traffic. The restaurant upon entering you are greeted by this giant picture collage on the wall. We were greeted by the owner (so friendly) and seated right away. Our server was AHHHHHH-MAZING!!! Ok I want to say the entire staff were amazing. Even overhearing their side conversations, you could tell they have a genuine camaraderie with each other. We were served our coffee and teas right away. Our server took the time to chit chat with us and and was very helpful in helping us select as we had never been before. I ordered the Super Special...cant remember the exact name. It was two eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 French toast, home fries (you had the option of dollar fries), bacon and sausage and a choice of toast. I added sautéed onions to the home fries and leveled up the pancakes by making them strawberry Cheesecake (Doooooo it!!!!) And wow....it was so delicious and fluffy and you absolutely do not need syrup of any kind. The toast was served with homemade jam (deeeeeelicious). The food was an instant 5/5 and the French toast is made with Cobs cinnamon bread which heightens that flavour profile. Our table ordered variations on the Super with blueberry, and cinnamon pancakes and they all raved about the pancakes (all the food). The ambiance of this place is very much small town village vibes. The kind of place that is homey and comfortable like your favourite pair of pjs...you just want to live in them. Thats how this place makes you feel. Like youre visiting home. On Tuesdays your coffee is free with purchase of your meal. Youre also encouraged to bring your own Tupperware for leftovers so as to reduce waste (brilliant idea) and my favourite part is a program aimed at helping to provide meals to those who arent able to afford it. Our table bought a total of four vouchers. They come in denominations of $10 and $5. $10 will provide a breakfast and a coffee/tea and $5 provides a bowl of soup and a coffee/tea. There are pastries on sale....namely buttertarts. Lots of flavours to choose from. They are pretty good There is also a store attached where you are able to purchase frozen items served in the restaurant. Did I mention the baked beans? They are homemade and they are absolutely delicious Some of the best homemade baked beans Ive ever had. There is a nice little sign asking that within 10 mins of paying your bill, due to the restaurant being so busy on weekends....please wrap it up and I love that. It keeps a great flow and more people are able to eat and enjoy. Prices are average and in my opinion worth it. My Platter was $19.99 plus extra for upgrades (pancakes/onions) and the portion sizes are fantastic. I took half my meal home and ate it for dinner. As a side note, they also have senior portions. In case you cannot finish a regular portion. We will be back, thats a certainty Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available. Dietary restrictions: Keto options are available. Parking: Lots of parking available.

The best place dont delay GO eat Breakfast there

Went there for breakfast. Good portion size, a little bit expensive, but worth the meal. Busy place...parking lot was full of car loads of people waiting for opening time. Staff managed the big rush quite well. My dollar chips werent hot, but Ill give them a pass on that given the number of people served all at once. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

Wow! This was our first time coming here and we absolutely loved it. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for our table, but it was fine because we got a free cup of coffee while we waited. The staff were all so amazing and nice. The food was very good as well. They add homemade strawberry jam to each plate and it was so tasty! We now understand the hype and wait time, and we will definitely be back!! P.s If you like Cinnabon s, get the cinnamon bun pancake, it will not disappoint

Food was fine. Homefries were overcooked and crunchy. Omelet was okay. One piece of toast wasnt toasted much. Homemade jam was good. Most annoying was the service. Pleasant, but why do you speak to anyone over 60 like they are a child? It is condescending. Im sure she meant well, but ask your grandmother if she likes being spoken to that way.
