A place that feels like a family place while being professional and with a different menu than the typical road house place. It is still casual sit down dining It has some Irish specialties or atleast I think so that are different than just wings and burgers if you want to try them. The cost is typical of similar places in the area and I found the service good and friendly. This place Worth going to and trying out and we will be back

Tyler is a great bartender. We made him work hard but he always came back with a smile. Food is also really flavourful. They have a lot of options. We had a vegan with us and they had no issues accommodating that. We came in the middle of the day. There was a nice breeze and the music was entertaining. This is a great place to relax and enjoy time out with friends and family. We will be back

Been here a few times. Had the Beef Ravioli. For $23 I would have expected more. Was barely a starter portion. Two meals, one alcoholic drink and a dessert for just shy of $100. I wont be back in a hurry.

First time here. The service was great. The fish tacos where delicious. Great atmosphere.

Disappointing. Took my 2 sons here tonight for dinner. The portions are very small. The kids meals was not near enough for my 9 year old...let alone my 3 year old! The service was poor. Was left sitting for a while and waitress would walk away before we had a chance to ask for anything. The butter for mashed potatoes came out frozen, we ordered gravy which didnt come so we had to ask. We ordered desserts and the boys got an ice cream with their meals. The ice cream didnt come out with the desert and when it finally did come out they had the wrong toppings. The whip cream on the side of the chocolate cake was literally a watery pool. Our waitress was also eating while walking out of the kitchen a few times...very unprofessional. Was not impressed at all for our first time there. The food was good though aside from being small portion size. The steak wrap I had was more of an app size and for 25 bucks, not worth it....though it was good.

Ordered two orders chicken fingers, we order regularly and have ordered this meal several times. This latest time each order had half the amount of chicken fingers normally provided and a few scraggly tiny chicken bits and lumps of breading. All of the chicken was overcooked, the kitchen clearly doesn t care about quality anymore. We have been noticing a steep decline over the last few orders in terms of quality. We will no longer be customers of this location.

I havent been here in a while. The Bae atmosphere is great. The service was fantastic. The food was salty. Maybe a different choice may have been less salty.

I feel bad now as we got fantastic seats tonight at St. Patricks in McCools! I was unhappy that we couldn t move closer to the band but it all came through! Now we have primo seats! Our steaks were awesome and the servers were great dispute being ran off their feet! Cheers! Wheelchair accessibility: Sadly there are only two handicap spots and one is full of snow. We parked at the theatre and walked over. Snow needs removed so there is full access. :)

Wings where over cooked to the piont the batter was burnt and the taste of burnt oil. Not very well prepared.

Nice atmosphere loved the decor. Music did not match the ambience. Odd irritating musty odor in the air. These older restaurants need to be sanitized especially their floors and deordorize clean old greasy vent systems. Makes a difference when tasting food. Menu had nice photos . Food over priced.. some large portions looked good but pushing to buy higher priced items.. Rainy cold day .had lunch . The french onion soup was definitely one of the better ones I have had. The gravy with dinner however left a little to be desired. The toffee pudding was delightful. Server was on the ball.

This is a comment on the group that owns this chain and most likely Kelsey s and Montana s too. It s all trash. Really really trash. Paying for that food is an insult. Independent pubs blow this place out of the water. I m sick of re-heated Sysco or Gordon Food service garbage. Support local independent restaurants that use real ingredients and actually cook food and don t just deep fry it or microwave it from a food service company. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options but have no concept how of what vegan is. Mainly I think because they only serve microwave dinners so they can t really modify.

I went there with my wife on Friday and order the fish and chips and the fish tacos. The fish in the tacos was so dry that it was hard to chew. Overall. The quality of the food was mediocre. The concerning part is that the dishes were 20 and 19 dollars, respectively. Not cheap. With overpriced and mediocre food, the restaurant was pretty empty, probably a sign that other people share our resentment. Time for the owner to take a hard look at the food quality and price points.

We recently visited this restaurant for a going away dinner for our daughter, even though we had a large group our server did an amazing job. All the food orders were perfect and she gave us just the right amount of attention. The food was all served hot and everyone enjoyed their meals, they also have a nice selection of drinks that seem to cater to the ladies which is good. I would recommend the restaurant.

The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and I was very happy! Unfortunately to me with my experience the service was really slow from waiting for someone to take our drink order and started/ main meal. I came with a very hungry stomach and the wait was just a little disappointing, but again the food and drink was tasty.

Ive just ordered a pound of wings and an order of calamari from uber eats. I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw all this hair fried into the breading of this wing (I had already eaten 3). Upon further examination I noticed that multiple wings were riddled with hairs. I am horrified. I cannot believe you lot have a license to serve food. Uber had given my money back and had reported the restaurant. What a DISGRACE.

Food received was either good or horribly timed and poorly put together. One of my plates was forgotten about then when we recieved it minutes later, it was over salted and cold, not even hot and fresh. Usually when a dish gets to your tables late its at least nice and hot. Not colder than room temp..

I do not recommend this place at all. The cocktails were terrible, mostly just syrup water. The food was also disappointing, the chicken wings were stale. On top of that, the waitress was rude about it when we asked. Id avoid going here.

I had the Cobb salad which was good but very small for the price they charged. My husband had the burger which was from a box and mashed potatoes which were instant. The price was extremely high for the size and quality of the meals. Would not go back.

First time visiting today since pre-Covid, prior to that this was actually a favorite spot to visit by my wife and I as the fish and chips were pretty good. Today however was a much different story. Fries were extremely salty, the fish a 2 piece meal was just barely cooked and soggy (and that was after I had asked for it to be lightly battered). The quality of this has significantly dropped since last visit which is a major disappointment. It at best gets 2 stars as the server was friendly otherwise a 1 star would have been awarded. Update to this Manager from this location promptly followed up on this situation and asked for a second chance for the team to redeem the situation. My wife and I took them up on the offer yesterday and they didn t disappoint. We ordered the same meal again and the meal was a major improvement. Waitress was awesome and clearly communicated the specifics of the order to the cooking staff. Fries and fish were on the money (this was what we knew Fion s was capable of providing). We definitely will return following this. Thanks again to a job well done. Star rating improvement to level 5 from previous rating.

Service was 5*. Friendly, fast and attentive. The food was good pub food. The restaurant itself was dingy feeling and dark. Maybe as a bar in the evening it would be better. But the floors were really sticky and it was early afternoon and not busy. The bathrooms were gross and floors were flithy

Two of us. Went in. We both had the Irish Beef Tacos. We both had pepsi. One reg one diet. Both severely watered down. Something in the meal tasted burnt. It was throughout the whole meal. Menu said beef. Turned out it was either lumps of ground beef or chopped up used burgers. I do not recommend this to anyone. In 1985 I graduated from a cooking school and cooked for many years.

My friend and I ordered a French onion soup, some sort of pub special to share and a chicken Ceasar salad to share. We waited over an hour before we got our main meal. And then when we did, we got a Caesar salad without the chicken with pink pieces of romaine lettuce in the salad. It was very disappointing. Food wasnt great. Service took way too long. And then we were forced to get upto pay inside because the machine wasnt working outside. Which is not something you can help but it would have been nice to have been allowed to wait until we were finished hanging out before having to get up and pay inside.

I was in tonight Oct 28th at 8pm. And I felt like my table got neglected as there was not enough servers. Place was absolutely dirty and I felt like the serves were unable to manage the amount of customers at this establishment.

We will never go back because of the bartender ruining a night out. Unprofessional bartender = bad service = loss of business.

We came December 3 and had Ashley as a server. She was amazing and we had the best service ever. We had the Great Canadian d arcy and the d arcy rockin reutine. It was the best poutine I had fries were the best. Will be returning.

Went Sunday evening and our server was so friendly and quick. They had an in house long island iced tea, I enjoyed it. The food is your typical pub fare. I ordered the hold the meat burger which has a lightlife patty; not my favourite brand but the burger itself was good. I had a garden salad on the side which wasnt submerged in dressing like some places do but a tiny bit more dressing would have been nice -next time Ill order dressing on the side to disperse it better. My husband got the fish tacos, and he enjoyed them, he ordered the tortilla chips and guacamole on the side and I tried the guac... Completely flavourless, so I dont recommend. The patio runs into the parking lot so there are several tables. It wasnt busy when we went but on a busy day youd at least get seated sooner since they added the extra picnic tables.

We visited this location today our first meal on a Patio in over 10 months and we were really looking forward to this meal. I had the Chicken Curry and it was very good. My wife ordered the Guinness Steak & Mushroom Bowl. My lord, it was just pitiful, about 4 small pieces of steak and about 6 mushrooms in a soup bowl with some Guinness based gravy covered with some mash potatoes (and they have the balls to charge $17.95 REALLY???) This has got to be one of the biggest rip-offs in a restaurant meal that I have seen lately. They need to add some more steak to make this dish worth that kind of money. If you do decide to eat here DONT order this menu item, youll regret it!

Chain restaurants and pubs are generally all the same and all just okay. I dont know what it is about this Fionn MacCools but everything here tastes sooooo much better than anywhere else. We love coming here and when we lived in Orangeville we ordered Skip the Dishes at least once a week. Now, we live a bit further away but still try to go once a month. The staff are always awesome, friendly and super accommodating especially now that we bring our toddler. Fast, constitantly good and a great atmosphere. You wont be disappointed!

Take out is ridiculously overpriced for the amount you get. The 2 meals I received was not worth the money that was paid. This restaurant has officially lost my business. They meals did not even fill us up. They were half portions at best. Oh and I did not receive enough dressing for my salad. SHAMEFUL for the amount you charge!

Well it was quite an experience. Music was so loud couldnt talk to the people sitting beside me. There was a live musician which got annoying after a while. Food was below par. We had the Nachos which were a little dry and didnt have a lot of toppings on them. We got a total of 3 slices of jalapenos. I would consider going across the street because they are far better for the same price. Not impressed

Have had several amazing meals at Fionns! Whoevers in the kitchen is killing it with the culinary game and deserves a raise if anything! I had one of the largest and best burgers of my life, and the Fish Tacos were/are so yummy as well. Its nice because the fish is battered and then fried so the whole thing doesnt fall apart on you. I dont want to keep rambling but I think that if you swing by the place at some point, you wont be disappointed whatever your diet may be. Another thing I noted was that they have nice staff that are attentive and pleasant! Well worth a visit and whatever dollars you spend. I hope the kitchen gets tipped out well, they deserve it. I ordered the fish and chips and it was fantastic. The fish came as requested (extra crispy) and 2 huge pieces. The fries were done perfect with the coleslaw absolutely delicious and crunchy. It was our first visit here. Of course due to the current times we sat outside. Not all of the seating area is covered and it can get hot on a sunny day if you dont get a table in the shade. It wasnt very busy so we were able to get a table in the shade. The service was good and the food was very good. Glad we decided to try this place out. I enjoyed the Guinness® Steak and Mushroom Bowl so tasty, and my wife enjoyed the Rocking Reuben burger. Looking forward to eating there again.

First time at this location. When we went to sit down, it was obvious that our table was dirty. When we told the hostess, she said it had already been wiped and walked away. Our server was friendly and attentive, but the food was poor and over priced. Small portions for what you are paying.

Had lunch yesterday. Reservations on patio. Staff courteous. Had the *Fish and Chips*. All good but portions of the fries is so small it should be renamed *Fish and Coleslaw*, as the serving of coleslaw was larger. The battered fish was slightly larger than an eggroll. So I would not return for the fish and chips unless portions increase. And I LOVE fish and chips.

Service was great. We had the Nachos, Omelette of the day, Irish breakfast skillet and a burger. All of the above was excellent. Great atmosphere to bring the team to during the gap between hockey games. We would go back in a heartbeat.

I came here twice in a weekend for a hockey tournament. With over 25 people (parents and kids), the staff here was amazing. Not only did they give us a lot of space, they also were so organized, flexible, quick as they can be, and really really pleasant. The food quality did not even dip with so many people. I would say it is a notch above your standard corporate restaurant fare. Lots of more variety and a kids menu too! Highly recommend the power bowl... its delicious, hearty, filling, and perfect for the long days at the rink running around. I do appreciate how they can modify the dishes to accommodate allergies. I was really appreciating this spot and if I ever need to come to Orangeville again, I would come back here first.

Food was good, and the server was friendly, helpful and patient with our large group. We have been here multiple times with the same size party and always received excellent service.

We had my dads 75th birthday party here today. We had 17 people in all and as you can imagine, our bill rang up quite high. The wait staff were Okayish but kept changing. In the end as we were all saying goodbye, the hostess came up and asked us to leave. When my Dad was leaving, he didnt know that wed been asked to leave, he leaned toward the hostess and thanked her for having us and she looked him in the eye and pushed past him not saying anything. I would highly suggest that we will never go back! Extremely disappointed!!!

Held a retirement party there for a co-worker. Staff was great and were able to accommodate special dietary needs on the fly (keto) in a very busy environment.

Food and service is mediocre at best, service and management seems pretty disorganized there, sad excuse for an Irish pub.

Great atmosphere, the bartender has a 18th century mustache fitting for the decor of the bar. Thursday nights soccer leagues tend to favor this place, it makes it nice to go to and more people to meet.

We came here tonight and to be fair it was busy, but service wasn t great and food took a long time. I asked for crackers for my two year old, and we were told they didn t have any but they would bring a couple of vegetable sticks. I had to ask four times for vegetables sticks, that came after our meal after I told her not to worry about bringing them. I opened our bill, and the charged us for the carrot sticks. The food wasn t great either. We likely won t be back anytime soon.

The food was delicious and served promptly. When we were asked for feedback and commented that thev1 dessert was not as expected the manager was out immediately with a complimentary appetizer card. Totally unexpected and wonderful service. We will go there again soon

Last night was the third time being there and I was very disappointed with the quantity of food we got for our money. I ordered the Lobster roll. It came on a brioche bun which was nice but there might of been 3 tablespoons of lobster and a side Caesar that had very little dressing on. Definitely not worth $16.95. My son had curry chicken and his bowl was 1/3 full. Again not worth $16.95

Service was really bad and slow despite only having a few customers. Miscommunication about price of beer in menu and tried to rectify it by bringing half a glass of beer for me and my friend and was told to share it between us.

Nice Irish decor, friendly staff. Food was was dependent on what you order. Wife ordered Fish and Chips and it was good, except they put way to much dressing on their salads. I ordered the Chicken Potpie. It was edible, but again, the salad had way too much dressing.

I set up a surprise Birthday party for my wifes 30th this Friday. The manager and staff were so kind and accommodating. The food,atmosphere, music was great. We had a party of 26 and they took care of all our needs and made it a night to remember.

My girlfriend and I stopped at this place on a whim after shopping because we were HANGRY!! We walked into a calm and cozy atmosphere. We were greeted with nothing but smiles. We were seated immediately and drinks to follow werent far behind. My girlfriend and I both ordered the steak and fries with some adjustments. My girlfriend got mashed potatoes and I had sweet potatoes fries. Let me tell you this steak was phenomenal. The flavour was out of this world and the steak was like cutting into butter! While we enjoyed our meal the staff continuously checked in to make sure we were doing ok. I would give this place 10 out of 10 no questions asked! Amazing food , cheerful and attentive staff, everything you could ask for . if youre ever in the orangeville area you need to check this place out!!

Went for birthday party about 10 adults 4 kids took almost 50 min to get some to take order for drinks and meals almost another hour to get food showed up burnt will not be going back here again
