Been quite a few times since it opened. Each time my partner and I go our service has gone downhill- can tell they are working short/stressed out. When they do have supply of food and are on their game its a lovely atmosphere and food is good ( when they have things available )however I will not be returning customer anymore but encourage my friends to give it a chance.

Wanted to try out a bar in the area, loved the food service and ambience, reasonably priced too! Spent $100 for 2 people

Felt like things were missing (dill pickle spear for the dill marg drink even though it s clearly listed on the menu, no sauce on the cauliflower tacos, etc). Drink sizes were quite small for the price point as well. Food was fine when it finally came but nothing to write home about - it was close to an hour after we were seated and it didn t seem very busy Also don t sit in the dining area, it really cuts you off from the rest of the room and the cold air blows right in when the door opens. Overall pretty disappointed in the experience and wouldn t bother coming back.

Nice food with a great vibe. Got the Smashburger and all the ingredients seemed very fresh. Also got the bacon Caesar is a must try so tasty

Went with a large group and Main Street (Ashley) took care of us. Food was great, service was great and made for a great evening.

Food and service were good. Prices were average. Didnt get as many nachos as I was expecting, but still enough to fill me up.wings are big, but you pay for them, 2lbs for $30.

Waiter had torn pants, pop was flat, wings had no meat, relative also got food poisoning from the food. Go somewhere else

Thank you so much for allowing my husband to take my teenage son and his two friends there during the Tyson-paul fight my son had a blast and was singing and dancing! Such an amazing place and they loved the food!

A truly joyful experience.

I cannot provide a review of the food as we arrived , were greeted and seated and then completely ignored for 20 mins. No one came to our table. No one asked if we wanted anything to drink. Nothing! And the restaurant only had 3 other tables of guests. Not busy at all. I guess the retirement party they were setting up for was more important. Did not leave a very good first impression! Will not go back.

Cocconut shrimp was very overdone. Very dark and crunchy. We all only had one drink. Would have had more but service was very slow. They didnt come back and give opportunity for more rounds. We picked this place for our sports team end of year gathering becuase they offered 50% off apps amd select drinks. The discount was not given automatically, we have the bills corrected.

They were very accommodating from answering questions on Facebook Messenger, to correcting errors quickly when we were serviced. Our soccer team had our last game yesterday and we planned our visit with Main Street last week. They were responsive and very friendly. Although they had an event the same night, they were able to get a table ready for our large group and served us with a smile! I was left satisfied and will be returning.

I visited this place wit my friends and really loved the vibe here. Stephanie, was such a pleasant person who helped us choose the food and drinks. Everything arrived on time and with a SMILE........ Will visit again, thank you.

Ive been here twice. The first time wasnt great, so I thought Id give it another chance. Quantity and quality of the food for the price is terrible. Yes, I understand everything has gone up in price, but the dishes should be a decent size for the price. I also asked for grey goose vodka and was shocked to see 4$ more (I think it was) then smirnoff. This business seems like its hurting and going under very fast. Not very busy, no need for reservations. Slow service. Takes awhile for waitress to come around.

Called at 9:15 if we can come around 9:40 for dinner; they said that s perfectly fine; kitchen closes at 10 so we should be ok! Reached at 9:40 and were told they are closing early i mean whattt??? I said that s why we called ahead but no point I understand you close early if it s slow but if we are calling and asking if we can come tell us then Why waste our time?? Please let us know next what time we should be there so we are allowed to dine in. -smh-

If there was a 0 that would be my star. Food way too expensive for the quantity and quality. Nothing tasted good at all and portions and price are a huge rip off.

Girlfriend took Me here for my birthday. We made reservations but you honestly dont need them place is empty..probably for good reason waitress seats us at a dirty table I ask to move just to have my arms stick the the next one. My other half orders a Coke and I ask for a beverage which they dont have. So Im annoyed at this point and settle for water. We get the artichoke spinach Naan that is honestly pretty tasty. I was happy with that appetizer. I got burnt wings and two sides of fries yes the menu does clarify that the wings do now come with fries but the waitress asked me for a side so I ordered sweet potatoes fries thinking there wasnt one. There was a bit of the confusion with the paper printout menu and the original. I didnt come to do homework I came for a night out with my better half. She had beef tacos that resembled pulled pork you left in the crock pot too long very dry and tasteless. The waitress was never around never asked for a top up on her drink which she needed I had to ask for ketchup for my fries. Just a terrible experience all together. If I had came in for a quick app (spinach artichoke) Naan and left I would have gave 3 stars but all in all the whole experience trumps that. One star. Very disappointing not sure how this place is open other than the locals keep it going simply for a close to home watering hole.

Jerk chicken tacos were fantastic and large portion sizes. Server was really good. Vegetarian options: Nice Vegetarian options.

Great food and great service would definitely go again

Got the hot honey chicken sandwich. For $16 it wasnt too bad, maybe couldve tossed a few extra fries in there. The sandwich flavour wise was really good. The hot honey was delicious, the slaw was fresh, the bun was toasted and never got soggy. The chicken however, was quite dry. The chicken was definitely one of those supplier frozen chickens. Perhaps they should try and use fresh chicken and bread it themselves. If it wasnt cooked for as long I think it wouldve been a 6 or 7 out of 10. The fries, albeit definitely from a bag, were actually quite good. They were super crisp, seasoned well, and not greasy at all. My girlfriend got the mac and cheese, she thought it was great, I found it a little bland. Most mac and cheese is. My gripe with the mac is $14 is quite steep for a bowl of noodles, milk, and cheese. Our server was super nice, but my god, she was super slow. Like, come to the table every 20 minutes slow. Definitely needs to work on that. We were planning on getting the sticky toffee pudding for dessert, but it was getting too late, and the service painful. My advice, balance your prices, work on keeping your meat temps as close to 165°F, and not going past that, before sending them out, pushing your servers to be faster, and you could have a community staple here. Cheers!

Great local spot. Very clean and the service from Stephanie was great. I ordered for take-out a steak sandwich with house salad. Great tasting sandwich but for my liking too much aioli sauce and the jus was a little tangy. Luckily the sandwich without the jus was tasty. The corn for the crunch was a pleasant surprise. The house salad was great, for a traditional lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber with a vinegarette dressing. It $31 with taxes which is at par with other bars. I would definitely stop by again. I would rate it 4.5 *.

I recently dined at Main St, and it was an outstanding experience. Coming from a foodie like myself, I have seen exceptional work from everyone. From the warm atmosphere where the cozy ambiance made me feel comfortable, and content with the best vibes. It s the perfect spot for a relaxing meal and exclusive conversations. Now this is where I loved it even more, where the staff was attentive. The staff went above and beyond. Our server, Stephanie was friendly, knowledgeable, and paid attention to every detail of the order. I don t eat pork or beef so she made excellent recommendations about the chicken parm and shrimp penne and that s exactly what I got. Considering the quality of food and service, the prices were very reasonable. Overall, this place is a gem. I ll definitely be back for more delightful meals. Highly recommended!

Had calamari- for a handful of calamari and sweet chili sauce it was $18. We also got the nachos which I had them remake- no cheese, chunks of onion and hot peppers mainly and the chips were super salty -very disappointing. Waitress was very nice but the food was ok. Wont be coming back

Amazing team!!! Last night we hosted a surprise birthday party at Main Street, and it truly wouldnt have been successful without the help of the staff there! From helping with setup, buffeting food, cake cutting, live music, serving, cleanup, etc., everything went so smoothly thanks to them! As well, the food was amazing on top of that. We pre-ordered appetizers as well as ordered food from the menu throughout the night. Everything was GREAT! Highly recommend if youre looking for a fun atmosphere to host any type of party!

I went for the mothers day menu and it was delicious!! The French onion soup, flatbread, salmon and the desert was perfect! I havent had a meal like that at a restaurant in a long time!! My mother ordered the supreme chicken with the spinach cream sauce and it was delicious!! That should be added to the menu!! We cant wait to go back again and try more of the menu. The vegan choices look great as well!

I came here with the family for the first time. Very cool looking place and nice inside. Good selection of drinks. They showed the boxing fight which was cool. Service was excellent and friendly. Will be back!

It is located in the former Chinese buffet location. This bar & eatery has been fully revamped and updated. Huge selection of tequila and other drinking options, menu has a good selection for both those who want meat and those that dont. I tried the bruschetta flatbread and 1 lb of breaded wings in whiskey BBQ sauce. They were both amazing. The only problem I had was that they werent saucy enough. Its definitely a place to try out of your around and want to get away from the same old Broadway places.

My fiancé and I just tried them for the first time and we loved every moment of it. The drinks were great, food was so flavourful and the atmosphere was perfect. Will be definitely be back, highly recommend

Absolutely incredible experience for our first time trying Main Street Station Bar & Kitchen!! Started with a minor mistake on our order and ended with a 100% repeat customer! Ashley took it upon herself to not only make sure our order was corrected but she hand delivered it to us! I could not be more impressed with the service, above and beyond! The food was also excellent and I could not be happier with everything!

I went out to lunch with my girl gang (GG) & I must say the food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I was blown away by the high quality meals we had. Everyone was so impressed, we will definitely be coming back to enjoy the experience again! Our server was Ben, his service was outstanding! He was so friendly & had such a kind hearted vibe. He made us feel so welcomed :) Beautiful aesthetics & atmosphere. The GG all left happy & full :D Vegetarian options: They had a lot of vegetarian & vegan options which is super cool! Dietary restrictions: They were very helpful & willing to tweak the menu for any dietary restrictions, I love that!

Had company over. Ordered 3 dinners and 1 kids pizza. Placed through Skip the Dishes. Only received 2 dinners and no side that came with the sandwich dinner. Called the restaurant 1st person I spoke to said no you received your whole order Then I spoke to the manager she agreed that I only received 2 dinners not 3 and the side dish was missing. Had to go pick up the other dinner....got home.... the side that was supposed to be with the dinner was missing!!!!!!!! The food tasted ok, the kids pizza looked horrible, my grandson didnt eat it. Manager gave us a gift certificate for the not so good service. Will use it, but not sure Ill order delivery again. Eat in probably better.

We had a great experience tonight at Main Street Station. Our server was Britney, she was fantastic from start to finish! We ordered quite a bit of food, everything was GREAT! The mussels were INCREDIBLE, I hope they put them on the menu!

Thought we would try the new place in Orangeville and I m glad we did! My wife and I both had the smash burger with fries. Definitely one the best burgers in town. But for dessert we shared the deep fried butter tart this is a game changer!! Try it. You won t be disappointed. My daughter had penne from the kids menu, which had a variety of options. She is generally picky but loved it at ate the entire bowl. The place is very cool and a nice chill atmosphere with sports on the TV and live music. A place to come with the family or sit at the bar for a drink. We will be coming back!!

I found home in Orangeville the owner Ashley is the sweetest most caring owner ever. The vibe is fun, there s live music, you can dance, everyone I so friendly. Food is great, drinks are awesome. The place to be if you re from Orangeville or if you re visiting. Olivia was our server and she was fast, progressional and super sweet!

We had skip the dish take out from Main Street Grill and the food was decent but no wow factor $23 for a coconut shrimp appetizer and overpriced sliders for 3 mini burgers (we had the mini fried chicken sliders) that came with a tiny piece of protein basically a chicken nugget on each slider for the price of a meal. Better value elsewhere.

Food service and atmosphere was excellent. It did remind me of the original place even though it s not quite the same. Mind you I don t think I remember the food being as good as it is now. Food came out quite quickly as well. They recommended the Smashburger and I decided on the onion rings both were fantastic. I will be back and I do recommend

I ve come here twice now and been desperately disappointed by the evening appies. The atmosphere, the staff, the mood, is spot on and I m happy to see the space in Orangeville. But the food .is really disappointing, especially for a price point that would lead to expect high end food. On Saturday we got nachos that said they contained tater tots, pico, and cheese. The pico was a couple of pieces of chopped tomato and raw onion. It was greasy and flavour was almost nonextistant. We also didn t realize the tater tots were the nachos but that s our own miss.

The food was okay nothing to write home about but not awful. It is however way over priced for what you get. My partner and I only had an app (4 tiny mac and cheese balls) and shared an entrée (brisket sandwich with fries) with a fountain ice tea that didnt come until after our app arrived. We paid over 50 dollars. There are much better options in town.

I do Not recommend this place. We have had bad service there many times from long waits to bad food. We have heard this same complaint around the community. The owner will not have a business much longer if he cannot work out his service. Last time we were there for brunch, we waited over an hour to get our food, and still paid the bill in full as the owner never offered to take money off the bill. The food matched the service and was partially inedible as the avocados weren t ready etc. The problem was we were only one of two tables. The owner never made it right for us or the other table as I know everyone who was there. They all said after it was bad service and wouldn t go again. We will not be back and are sad to watch this business fall so fast.

We went for our first time last night, and we will be back! Our table didnt have alcohol but had a ton of food, all of which we shared. We had Brussels Sprouts app, Cesar salad, truffle mac n cheese bites, spinach & artichoke dip, smash burger, wings and finally the deep fried butter tart and double chocolate brownie. The sprouts and dip were super surprising in how tasty they were! The service was on point! Busy time of night on a Saturday but our table had many interactions with the server. Lexi the manager was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed and the amazing Hannah stopped by to say hi ;)

Went on Saturday for the first time with my man and our neighbours. Love the atmosphere. Service was awesome. We just went for some beers and ordered wings to go, which were very tasty, they could be bigger but we enjoyed! Definitely will be going back.

Our experience at the Main Street station was wonderful. The food was great. Presentation, taste and all! Our server Steph was excellent and very attentive. Overall very positive experience, will be back forsure.

Incredibly disappointed, and incredibly overpriced. Diner quality for downtown Toronto prices. The food was decent enough albeit under seasoned, however the service and the quality of the building upgrades were a 1/10. Dirty cups and utensils, shockingly long wait for food during the day, inattentive service, and a ramshackle vibe to the atmosphere and washrooms if looking beyond the trendy facelift.

Once you get past the non-sensical beer prices (the larger the beer, the more it costs per oz????, pints are a fair price), it is a great place for a dinner in town. We had the smash burger and the fish tacos (must try). Both were big hits! Would definitely recommend giving it a try! Will definitely be trying out their half price taco night on Tuesdays moving forward! We will be back.

Awesome food

This place is a MUST if you enjoy medium priced bar food, or well made cocktails. The atmosphere is slightly overwhelming if you decide to sit at the bar, but the food more than makes up for it. It is a little pricey if youre paying for more than one person, so I recommend going alone for your first time. The bartender I had actually knew how to make a proper cosmo as a cherry on top! I would rate 5 stars, but the wait time is a little long for drinks.

The food is incredible. This is what a restaurant should have to survive. However if you dont pay attention to detail or teaching your servers you are going to fail. Im giving a you a 5 because I cant handle annoying reviews however seriously... teach your servers the menu including the drink menu and dont let them chat in a corner with friends while they forget to take someones order for 25 mins. Youre allowed to hire servers who have never served a day in their life. Just train them

Had a wonderful experience! Our server, Stephanie, was truly outstanding; service with a smile, patient as we got our 9 month old settled, fast with our orders, remembered everything, and made sure we were taken good care of. We got the spinach dip, double smash burger and birria tacos and everything was delicious and great portion sizes, we definitely left full! The pineapple mojitos were really good too! Thank you for the great night out, we will be back!! Kid-friendliness: They have two sets of high chairs, one with a table top for the younger ones, and one that can sit at the table, and with our 9 month old, we were grateful they had options! We were also greeted with smiling faces upon entry when we brought her in, very kid friendly atmosphere. Not too loud either which is great!

Came in super happy to finally try them after opening was greeted and seated right away in the corner next to the bar unfortunately it took staff 30 min to come take are drink order usually I have a time limit where if I m not asked what I want to drink within the first 15 min I leave but I really wanted to try your food was especially upset that our waitress had time to stand around and socialize with other waitresses instead of taking are order after taking our drink order we waited another 15-20 min to get our drinks great food terrible experience will find it difficult to find reason to go back

Food came out fast, wasnt super hot but not cold either. There was nothing special about it flavour wise. Maybe Im picky, my date enjoyed his food. However they were super accommodating of my dietary needs. The bartender taking care of us was friendly, made sure we enjoyed our food, and attentive to our drink refills. There was a really loud person there who seemed to have finished his shift and decided to stay and chat. That could not be great for business... but he was entertaining to us.

The food is excellent. I had the Calamari Steak, Smashburger, and a piece of Cheesecake. The Classic Sour that I had to drink was perfect. I would definitely recommend eating here and will be back to have more.

Went there tonight and got the Smash Burger and Ceaser Salad, it came quick, hot and was delicious. The servers were extremely friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I would give is maybe present the food on a wax paper ontop of the wood board not have the food on the wood directly to prevent staining etc but other than that I will definitely be back!

Can confirm that Orangeville has a new #1 restaurant, Main St Station! Expect this place to be booked up on weekends unless you reserve early. Vibey atmosphere/ambiance , amazing hospitality , hand crafted cocktails , extensive food menu , dj/live music , NOT a franchise , unbeatable prices . 10/10 recommend the tacos (I had the jerk chicken) and margarita towers - it s not on the menu, but ask about it!

My husband and I ordered takeout, took only 25 min. We got the Mac n brisket poutine (delicious), brisket sandwich (also delicious) and the stuffed chicken parm and wow! The chicken was cooked perfectly, it was moist and the noodles were perfectly al dente! Will definitely be going back to dine in next time! Dietary restrictions: They have a pretty good vegan menu, lots to choose from

Friday night reservation for 4 for 7:00 pm, we were seated at 7:23 PM. There were tables available but we were told due to shortage in the kitchen, they were delaying seating. No worries, I like the honesty. Once seated, our server came ( my apologies I don t remember the name) very nice young person, bubbly personality. We ordered appetizers and drinks (upsold tequila without mentioning the surcharge) cocktail pricing surpassed Daphne Restaurant downtown Toronto. Had to switch appetizers as the ones we ordered were no longer available. Server recommended mushrooms, turned out to be doughy and tasteless (maybe they rushed it to get it out instead of frying it for few more minutes) we ordered main, wings were ok, had to order more sauce as mine barely had any. Our friends order brisket and pasta, they didn t finish the dish. Negative: Reservation didn t help Shortage in the kitchen Upsell without letting the customer know the surcharge Undercooked food Long wait to get the apps and main Positive: Friendly Staff with a smile Lively atmosphere Saw the owner mingling with guests, great quality but when you know that you are short in staffing, maybe help out to keep the quality of food and delay in check. This is our experience. I truly wish this restaurant success and I hope they ll will take this review to fix some of the issues.

Last Friday night reservations at 6:30 we were served meals at 8 but understanding there are kinks to work out we were patient.My smashburger was a hockey puck (meaning all chard and dry)I usually never send food back but it just was not edible.We had an amazing waitress who said she would expedite my meal and after another hour and fifteen minutes of waiting we got our bill and stopped at Burger King on the way home

Went there on a Thursday. Amazing vibe and decor. The truffle Mac and cheese is the best I ve ever had. Service was amazing. Orangeville needed a place like this.

The food, the service, the drinks! Everything was perfection. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Considering the restaurant just opened recently, they really hit it out of the park! We re going to be regulars for sure. Kid-friendliness: They had a highchair ready for our reservation for our friends toddler!

I had the SmashBurger and house salad. Burger was made most likely with lean ground beef so it was brutally dry and pretty tasteless. SmashBurgers should have at least 30% fat content. You should have to wipe your mouth after almost every bite. I didnt need a napkin for the burger. I wont have another till they change their fat content. Salad didnt have enough dressing. Service: stood at the front door for several minutes waiting to be seated. Eventually sat myself down. Waited another 8-10 minutes for someone to notice I was sitting there. Restaurant wasnt busy... Parking: Fair amount of parking in a medium sized strip mall.

Amazing experience here. There really isn t anything like this in the area. The staff were professional and very accommodating. The food was actually very good - you can tell that the owners have chosen higher grade ingredients for the meals. Amazing selection of alcohols and tequilas. I felt like I was out of country on vacation when I was there. The owner/operator Ashley was super friendly and nice - even offering me a free shot for welcoming me to my first time trying. Would definitely return and highly recommend!!!

Amazing place to be all around. Great atmosphere, great food, great service and definitely the place to be in town. Live music and DJs are great as well. Definitely will be going back again and bringing my friends/family.

Chicken fingers were a bit over cooked, but everything else was great. Hannah was amazing! She made the experience great. Will go back again and hopefully get her section again.

We went to Main Street station last night and had great food and great service. Thank you to Stephanie for answering all my questions with a smile. I took a couple of bites I took pic of smash burger but it was good. The fish and chips was huge

Orangeville has a reputation for boasting some of the best locally owned and operated bistros and restaurants in Ontario. Some of the best high end, yet simple food can can found in this small town, just 45 minutes north of the GTA. Many of which rival that of Torontos own eateries, diners and dives that, unfortunately, lack staying power. The challenge with opening a restaurant in the city is, unless you catch the train at the height of the hype, you risk missing the experience. Whether it be a decline in the initial quality or the fact that most restaurants fail in their first year because thats just the nature of the business. There are only a handful of spots that can be considered historic. Enter Main Street Station. A resurrection of the original Orangeville hot spot that closed up shop long before I moved here. The current ownership has rolled the dice on the nostalgic value of the original Stations popularity in hopes that they can survive in a town where the local business owner is adored and the cookie cutter, corporate kitchen isnt necessarily vilified, but certainly isnt nearly as respected. After all, most of Orangevilles restaurateurs are life long members of the community. Catering to old classmates, team mates and drinking buddies alike. Unfortunately, if nostalgia is the only play MSS has in their playbook, they may need a Tom Landry type leader to push them over the top in the quality of their food, which isnt necessarily bad, but tragically average with a few inconsistencies. French fry in my soup, which was pretty good but I could have done without the idea of something being there that wasnt supposed to be. My wife thoroughly enjoyed brisket sandwich and the fish and chips were among some of the best my 6 year old has had in town. Although it was the second thing he ordered because the kids menu pasta was way too spicy for a kid. Fine for an adult entree but way too complex for a 6 year olds pallet. A cheap, simple marinera would be more appropriate for the kids menue pasta. But all that is nitpicky, to be honest. The real criticism is they seemed to miss the mark on a bar staple. The one item that the Original Main Street set the standard on to this day. Their chicken wings. Not the worst Ive had, but disappointing overall. Aside from the fact that they were slightly pink and a tad undercooked, they sauced my wings in suicide when I ordered mild with the suicide on the side. Luckily I dont mind heat and admittedly the suicide sauce is among the top Ive had. It was flavourful while maintaining enough spice as to allow me to enjoy the taste of the sauce. But sauces should be second to the chicken wing and the quality of meat just wasnt it. They tasted suspiciously like theyd been frozen and had a warmed over taste to them. Not horrible but again, average to say the least. What was not at all average was Olivia. Our greeter and server who was more than kind, accommodating, friendly and funny. Regrettably I didnt get to meet the owner/manager but they were also kind enough to credit my wings, despite me being satisfied enough to have finished them, even if they were a bit under. The service, desserts and appies were enough to ensure my family and I will be back to enjoy a stay at the Station again soon.

We tried for the first time on Tuesday, enjoyed 1/2 price fish tacos, a smash burger and a 1/2 price midnight margarita which was delicious. Food was good, service was great, thanks Kiara for being so helpful and answering our questions. Food
