I would like to thank Taphouse for hosting MY BROTHER Herbert DeedsyJames funeral reception in August. We are very grateful for all that you guys have done. Everyone that we have met in Herbies Taphouse family were kind, loving and supportive to our family and friends. Everyone had an amazing time at Taphouse and this will now be our go to spot in Orangeville. You guys did an amazing job honoring our brother. We appreciate you guys soooooo much. Herbie loved you guys and was well loved by you guys. Natasha

We were visiting from Ottawa and had the most wonderful time at this quaint Pub. We were promptly served by a gracious host, Ang. Thank you!

Waited roughly an hour for wings. They came out cold. They apologized and claimed they weren t cold!

Lovely outside seating areas. Service a little slow but there were a lot of customers for the server to deal with. Cocktails and appetisers to share were good.

Overall good exp, downside they were out of somethings at time of visit. Food we did order though was excellent!

The two times I have come here with friends we have had a great time. Live music was great and on the second floor there s a board game shop with lots of options for people into the hobby. I wouldn t recommend the jackfruit tacos (I ordered them because they sounded interesting), I think the recipe needs tweaking. The burgers were good though.

Went to the Taphouse to watch the fight last week. Had no idea they had a small pool table, foosball, and a basketball game upstairs. So much fun! We had no intention of eating, but the restaurant smelled so good we decided to have a look at the menu. We shared a pulled pork sandwich, it was the best we ve ever had! We will definitely be going back soon!

This was my very first visit here with my family & mom for mothers day. I absolutely loved it here, service was incredible & food was outstanding. The place gave you that nice rustic pub feeling with that yummy pub food, highly recommend coming here and will be coming to eat again! Thank yoi for an amazing experience

Very awesome place! They have a really neat take a book/leave a book shelf and a shelf of board/card games! I thought that was pretty awesome and the food and service was great too, i got tacos and wings with fries. Would visit again!

Best burgers, sandwiches, and nachos Ive ever had. My entire family loves this place and have been over a dozen times.

The food at the tap house is always top notch. We went last week for lunch & they never disappoint. Switched it if from the delicious burger to the chicken club, and might have found my new favourite!! The sandwich is massive, when you eat the first half and your side you need to decide wether you re ready to go for the second half, or take it home for dinner. I would highly recommend checking it out if you haven t been.

Place is cute. Staff are friendly. Beer and food are really good. It is really expensive though; the burger I got was $28 + $2 for onion rings despite the menu stating it came with them. Ill probably be back but the prices will make me think twice. Edit: I believe they have a new menu, there are plenty of more affordable options on it now. I have updated the review to reflect that.

This place is awesome! They have excellent local beers on tap, amazing food. Best of all is the staff! Our waiter was so friendly and good at the job. We each had a flight, we split fish tacos and the French dip. All of it was really good. I am pretty picky about food and beer and the vibe of a place. I was super happy with all three! I can t wait to go back.

We were a group of 12 there to celebrate a birthday with family. Our server was rude from the time we arrived and was borderline hostile the entire evening. When we were ready to order we asked how she would like to handle the cheque because it would be three separate bills and we wanted to try to avoid confusion. She replied that she has been doing this for years and that we would sort it at the end. She frequently forgot drink orders and had a lot of unfriendly attitude throughout our dinner. She brought me my beer and realized that she had given me the wrong one. I told her I had already taken a sip from the glass. She then proceeded to give it to the person who had ordered it at our table without mentioning that someone had already drank from the glass. When we were ready for the bills and tried to explain who belonged to what cheque she was dismissive and therefore our bills were wrong. She did try to fix them but paid little attention to our explanation of dividing the bill. She once again told us she s good at what she does and she s got it. My bill was still way off at this point so I took it to the bar and asked her if we could go over it together. I was polite and calm about it but she kept talking over me, telling me I was wrong. I know what I ate and drank. I asked her to please let me finish what I was saying and she began to yell at me to stop freaking out at her. She was the only one freaking out at this point. I decided I needed to walk away for a moment as I was shocked at her behaviour. She began to swear and yell at my whole family and caused a scene disrupting every patron in the restaurant. Even the kitchen staff came out to see what was going on. Luckily Nick took over and helped me with my bill. He was calm and professional even when our server came back and was trying to push her way into sorting out my bill again. She was completely irate and had zero self control. I have never not tipped at a restaurant before but when obscenities and insults are hurled at you and your family I don t think a tip should be expected. I did make sure to tip the kitchen staff as they did a great job. It was a really unfortunate incident and I m not even mad about it. I chose not to engage with her and she was clearly in a very bad place. I was embarrassed for her. She is a definite liability to an otherwise great place with good food and good beer.

Taphouse Craft Beer & Kitchen has quickly become our favourite local place. Great variety of local craft beers. My wife had a fruity cocktail. Not to mention the French Beef Dip and Brewburger knocked our socks off. We will be back for more live music soon.

Horrible service. Server Ann had no idea what she was doing and was incredibly rude and verbally abusive. Insulted my family for no reason. Never coming back!

This was my favourite restaurant but the new menu is terrible March 2023. The prices are unreasonably high on the burger s because they default to double patty for some reason and some of the better items were removed. We won t be back. Edit after owner response: Reduced to 1 star for misinformation. The response is not true, average burger prices are $18-$19 across various restaurants(I just checked again to make sure). At Taphouse it is $25, perhaps re-evaluate youre menu and offer single patty burgers instead for a lower price and for people who dont want that much food and per your menu if people want double they can add it for $4. Hopefully the owners can figure out a better approach so we can return in the future but currently I wont support it.

Popped in to see the new menu! Was pleased to see all the new smashburgers. Bippity Boppity was huge and worth every bite. Bonus was their $4 off all smashburgers on Thursdays.

If you are looking for a good ride and great lunch go to The Taphouse, We Came with a group of 96 motorcycles and 114 people, the service was great we called ahead and let them know how many people would be coming and the times we would be there. they set up BBQ and bar outside to speed up service for the large group and did an amazing job. we can t wait to come back and try out the new menu this fall.

I ordered from skip the dishes, the delivery was fine. I ordered the clubhouse grilled cheese, and received a wrap version of it. I would have been understanding if when I called they explained that they were out of bread, but when I called the person who answered after I explained my issue simply said that were closed without any further help. I found the interaction rude and not helpful. If they were unable to make the order I would have appreciated a note explaining why or a more professional interaction over the phone. I have better experiences in the past where when they were out of an item they called and found a solution. I was mostly just disappointed with the rude interaction over the phone, not the food.

This is a very good place to eat. The burgers were incredible and the funnel cake fries... Amazing! Went there with friends and everyone enjoyed it. Also our waitress was very nice and great with recommendations.

Had a lunch date here. During patio season they are dog friendly which is really nice. The staff are friendly and went above and beyond, and very thoughtful, even brought out a bowl of water for our pup. Service was quick. The food was tasty. Local selection of beers was good. Limited cider but the one on tap was good! Nice place to stop and enjoy!

Just had takeout tonight I never leave reviews but that was the worst burger I ever had. I couldn t bite the smash burger the meat was stuck together it was like a piece of fat was mixed in, left me gagging. The rest of the order was completely wrong. This used to be our go to spot for burgers. So disappointing after tonight. For what they charge I expect real meat not mixed in muscle fat of some sort in a smash burger with I can t bite.

Staff was super friendly and food was pretty good. I got a burger, which was good, needed a bit more sauce. The jerk tacos were very bland, but everything else was good. The patio was incredible. Our waitress was very friendly, but a little forgetful. We had to remind her of many things, but she was still very nice.

Our server was very nice and understanding. We had a complicated way to split our bills but she was very accommodating which we appreciated. Food servings were small but the drinks were excellent. We went on a very busy weekend so we expected service to be a little less than par but I think I would go back to get a better idea of the service and food.

Made my wedding. Provid Bluetooth for us to play music through, fed all my guests and provided good food and drinks all night. Private upper room, and they allowed us to arrive early and decorate. Thank you, Mike, for making my night one of the most painless nights. I make zero exaggeration in saying you saved my wedding, as my fiance and I were struggling to find a venue to host our guests with all the obstacles covid presented to us. Thank you for making my dreams reality. You are an amazing venue with wonderful, smart,and attentive staff.

We had a beautiful night at the taphouse! Friendly staff, great ambiance, really helpful. If youre looking for an intimate experience of 30ish people their upstairs is perfect!!

I ordered the 1/4 rack of ribs with wings combo. Ribs and wings (Ernies secret barbecue sauce) were great. They have a great selection of beer. I was told they have a full bar but dont keep simple syrup, that is disappointing since it limits the cocktail options available to be made. I would only like to see them add a simple syrup to there bar. I will definitely be back though as the food was great.

29 minutes to get two soft drinks to the table after 40 minutes still no appetizers had arrived so we left

This is my third time here and honestly, I find the speed of service to be Terrible. We waited almost 45 minutes after being seated to order our food, and it didnt seem busy enough to warrant the long wait. They were out of many of the menu options which honestly just made us laugh after the third sorry were out. My sister loves the impossible burger, but wow. What a wait!

I went here with someone we both tried different kinds of beers and ate I had a cider that was to die for I m telling you was really nice and tasty I had to get another we ordered a burger and I had a chicken grilled cheese with avocado and salad I loved it I will definitely return for another brew and some more food thanks for the great experience

Price is reasonable. Best stout Ive had so far in Canada.. Most of the beers on the tap were pretty good. Sides portions were reasonable and the burger was really good

I am truly blown away at this establishments dedication and innovation to thinking outside the box. I just had an amazing afternoon having a drink on the patio and I will be returning again.

I went today and the service and environment were excellent. We were greeted and sat immediately. The restaurant is clean inviting and thoughtfully decorated. We received our drinks quickly and food shortly after we ordered. I was also very satisfied with the beer which was recommended by our server. My friend and I were so disappointed by the food. Overcooked and totally under seasoned if at all. Which was the main reason why we went. Maybe we just got unlucky or came at a bad time as the reviews are fantastic but it was very expensive and VERY mediocre meal.

Love everything about going here! We had birthday reservations get cancelled last minute on a Saturday afternoon and Taphouse was able to fit us in! Service was great, food was fantastic, and atmosphere was lovely. We can t wait to go back in the summer to enjoy the patio with friends!

Walked in for a pint and some appies, fried pickles and mushrooms are great! Limited draft beer currently on 4, but a large selection of assorted beers in the can in the fridge Looking forward to going again when it warms up.

Stopped in to pick up some Community Northmen Lacrosse Beer and Rhymes with Orange (ville) Blood orange cider. Both were great. Owners were very friendly and service was fast. Covid protocols followed. My son tried the Funnel Cake Poutine and it was amazing!!

Placed a take out order order from the Taphouse and the food was AMAZING! My husband ordered chicken wings and found them very tasty, tender, and juicy. He also had a side of onion rings, again delicious and the Northmen Community beer...youve gotta try this beer! I had the highly recommended Mac n Cheese grilled cheese and a side salad. It was so good...dont think I could go back to a regular grilled cheese after eating this...a must dish! When entering the store the ambience felt very comforting. I was greeted by Sarah, Mike, and another staff member. I am looking forward to eating inside or on the deck when Covid is over. This will be the first place I eat out.

We made reservations for the patio to avoid waiting for a table and although the main patio was full they accommodated us under a picnic table with an umbrella in case it rained. The staff are friendly and you can tell they are working hard to make everyone happy. I had a Great Lakes Gin and lime drink, it was okay, reminded me of a lemonade but thankfully not sweet. We had cauliflower bites as an appetizer and they were good. I ordered the beerbq jackfruit sandwich with a Taphouse salad on the side. The sandwich was so good!!! And the salad was also verytasty, Id order a huge salad again next time. The server was great and put everything in take out containers in case it began to rain, which was perfect since we can never finish our food anyway, so we ate the rest at home once we werent so full and also because it did begin to rain. Win win. Great place and great vibes with the patio lights, it felt like we were downtown Toronto again. All we needed was a great band to be playing and it is the best hangout spot for a drink and some food.

The worst experience I have ever had. The narly nachos for 25 dollars was a waste of money. The craft beer sleeve was the worst I ever tasted. Narly nachos, Bagged lettuce and liquid cheese on top of deep fried lattice frys, in a very small bowl for a childs portion (feeds all on the menu) with a tablespoon of pulled pork on top. Me and my friends were shocked with the poor experience. The waitress never even asked how the nachos were.

Well where do I begin. Had a reservation for 6 didn t get seated till 7;15. Didn t get drinks till 8 o clock. Finally got our food at 8:30. My fries weren t even deep fried it was like they were boiled in hot water. My friends chicken was raw, he proceeded to throw up on the floor. I didn t even get napkins I had to use my mask. I have PTSD from this experience. Do not recommend. Burger was fantastic though. That s the only reason it gets one star.

Went out recently here with a group of ladies for a night out. We waited quite awhile for food and drinks, the food was bland, and our server was rude and unprofessional. We received a lot of attitude and had drinks taken away before they were less than half full. The live music is the redemption for my rating.

I haven t had a beer here that I didn t enjoy. I had Emily as a server the last time I was in. She was knowledgeable and super friendly. Will be requesting her in the future!

Stopped in to grab a few cans of beer. Nice to see many breweries that arent featured at the LCBO or beer store. Even nice to get a badg of popcorn with my beer purchase. Interior looks very moderns and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Cant wait to come back and try the food!

Great low key gem in Orangeville! Dave, the brewer, was very knowledgeable about beer and awesome at helping us choose IPAs. Really love the fact that they support local breweries and at very reasonable cost for takeaway cans! The beerimisu ($6) is delicious. Free popcorn is a nice touch with the beer. Hoping to try the Mac and cheese grilled cheese sammy ($14) next time! Wait staff are super friendly. Great customer service. In terms of covid-19 precautions, no need to worry about that at this place. Very clean and distancing of tables are in keeping with municipal regulations.

These guys know their beer. The fridge rotation is excellent and there is a great selection of local and regional brewers. A great showcase for the areas local brewers. Staff and owners are knowledgeable and always ready to talk beer (and music). And the food is great. Takeout was well done and packaged. Veggie tacos are next level.

5 star service, saved the night out with friends as other restaurants in the area were at capacity or closed. The food was incredible, I had the smashburger double patty, salad (fresh and tasty) and the hearty chilli. The vibe and interior design was very nice, will definitely be back! Thank you.
