First time at this location. Service was friendly and quick. Got the open face roast beef which I enjoyed. The veggies were slightly undercooked but still tasty. I would definitely give them another try.
i definitely recommend the mac n cheese bites from the kids menu. the fries were fresh, the mac n cheese was creamy. overall an amazing meal!! (i sadly ate the mac n cheese bites before a could get a photo :’])
Definitely going back to this one - food was great, server awesome, classic diner vibes impeccable. The homefries here are the best I've had in the city - sliced, crispy, delicious. Glad there's a two egg option, a lot of places only do 3-4.
I used to come here every weekend with my family. However, the recent new owners have done a horrible job with the place. It took us 20 minutes just to get a cup of coffee. The three tables beside us continued to get served sparkling water instead of regular water. When we finally got our order taken, it took another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. The food was not what the Wimpy's chain represents. The sausages were burnt and tasted unpleasant. Wimpy's is known for its generous portion sizes, yet when our food came out, we had only a handful of home fries with our breakfast. The waitress could hardly understand what we were saying, and you could tell that the tables around us were also growing frustrated. I guess we will have to find somewhere else to go for weekend breakfast now. It’s unfortunate that these once good chains are getting bought out and turned into poorly serviced restaurants. Wimpy's will never be the same.
I came here with my family and ordered one of the Mother’s Day specials. It was delicious! I understood it was a bit of a rush during Mother’s Day but there was a host who greeted us. I got my order at a reasonable time during quite the rush. I come here often times and found the customer service lovely as always. For Mother’s Day I really loved the initiative they took to give fresh roses in long stem to my mother. She was really pleased with them. I love the vibes of the restaurant and will definitely continue to come as usual!
Steak & pancakes were good but not enough syrup, sunnyside up eggs were not runny at all and over cooked. Not worth the price for the food or the service.
Lot of options on the menu. I had the veggie omelette. It came with Texas toast and potato fries. Very tasty. I also added feta to it. My brother had Southern fried chicken and i couldn't help but steal the mashed potatoes and gravy with mushrooms. They were so good. We also had the new york cheesecake for dessert. Very yummy.

Food is great servers are friendly and want to make sure you have everything you need It is the family style that is hard to find these days I love the decor All the old time singers It brings back old memories keep up the good work We need more of these classic places to eat at
Food was good staff was okay
We have been going there for years and never had a problem. Last weekend was terrible. My family went in for breakfast, and it was terrible. My daughter and I had French toast with fresh fruit. It tasted so bland and was extremely yellow, the strawberries were not fresh, they were mushy, not enough syrup supplied. My wifes turkey bacon was undercooked and didnt resemble turkey bacon at all. They ended up spashing dirty dish water all over my daughter and wife. Since the new owners took over, everything has gone downhill. Sad, really. We will never be back there again.
Favorite place to visit after a long day of work. Excellent food
When we entered the place there was no one to attend us. After 10 minutes one girl came and gave us table. Later on we requested them to take our order in which they took 15 minutes. After ordering our food it took around 30 minutes to come. I took a bite from my plate and realized there is no chesse in my egg. Server came and took my plate and added chesse on my egg. This looks there kitchen is very unhygenic. I have never seen any restaurant took food that is already eaten by us and added things on it. I won t recommend anyone to come here. Very disappointed
Unhygienic kitchen , Pathetic Taste and Long Wait No one was there to greet in front and assign us a table for a long time Got Seated and waited for at least 15 mins so that someone can take our order .. Took 30 mins for our order to arrive.. Looks like server was not a good listener Order was not as per our requirements Took our plate and came back with the same plate with some changes instead of getting it replaced completely Thats was so unhygienic.... Have never seen this in any of the restaurants . Would never recommend!
My kids all ordered from the kids menu and the portions were nice and big. Really great value! Also, the owners were so kind. My son had an incident, and the staff were nothing but accommodating and helpful. Much appreciated. We ll return for sure. Kid-friendliness: Great options. Kind service.
Ordered waffles, they must be made with the just add water box mix. Horrible taste, horrible texture, completely disintegrated when trying to eat. Just horrible. Staff was friendly and place was clean though, but never ever order waffles.

Burger over cooked to the point of dried out
Everything was fresh, not deep, fried and Berry tasty. Definitely. Come back for breakfast or lunch again. Im just sorry that I kept driving by this place. I wasnt giving it a chance.

Very disappointing..a place k own for generous sizes..ordered thick cut french toast..got thin cut sad looking french toast..sent it back..ordered pancakes..were smaller than expected also..the Wimpys in Alliston is much better and next time we will go there
A little disappointing - ordered the thick French Toast and the bread was all thin - like normal bread - (not at all like a texas toast style of bread which was implied on the menu). Perhaps it was indeed texas toast as the waitress insisted... but it was evident when another order came out (for a Monte Cristo) that some slices were decidedly much thinner than others. In the French Toast order - all slices were thin and anemic looking. On another order, we asked for sautéed mushrooms... and found that many of the mushrooms were raw.

Great breakfast
Fish and chips were barely edible, we were hungry,so we ate it.washroom was not the cleanest.only reason we went there was because townline fish and chips wasnt open! They are a 5 *.
I went in with my friends and its obvious they re understaffed. My order was taken wrong and then instead of just taking it back the waitress argued with me on how I actually didnt order a poutine and asked for an omelette. The poutine I got wasn t the one I read in the menu so I asked her what it was and she then argued with me again and finally said have you ever had poutine before? After more snide remarks she finally just gives up and agrees to take it back and void the order. Overall bad experience, Angels is just on broadway and we only didn t go there because it was packed, save yourself the trip.

Dirty place waitress was on something
Had the homemade soup of the day. This cook knows how to make soup. Then we both had different wraps. Were so large we brought half home for dinner. Very good.

Was there today june 14. Had omellette and add ons. Apparently the add ons were $2.00 EACH! watress never mentioned it and when I complained she showed me in tiny tiny writing. It was hard to even read the menu because there was no light at booth. I had 4 tiny pieces of mushroom. 3 little pieces of pepper and a bit of bacon. Ridiculous. They lost r business. Hope it was worth it for them for the extra 600 dollars

Clean..with covid is takeout only..1 man show here trying to keep business afloat! Ordered ahead and he had everything ready..put sauces in special.containers, instead of packets for those dipper types of people..was friendly guy.hot food.great portions..reasonably priced and ready on time.!! I was only 1 that visited him so far this morning by 11am.. I sure hope more folks do support this business as the guy is busting his hump to stay alive. I am from out of town but I would not hesitate to revisit this premise in the future.

I should have taken a hint with how large the menu was. First, I ordered 2 chicken Parms and got home to find there was only 1. Then when I opened it, found that even though they advertise breaded, it was not breaded, but dry stringy chicken (which I m still attempting to chew as I write this). Then I call and although their hours say 8 on the covid msg, they re closed and not answering with no voicemail at 7:05. Oh, and they re closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Will update if I get this resolved.

Sooo bad, fries have no taste and to be honest none of it tastes very good . I ordered chicken fingers and a clubhouse with 2 side gravies to go and it was 39 bucks. They charged me 13.99 for a club that doesnt come with fries,lol that was a extra 4 bucks so for a club with fries and a side gravy it was 19. 50 thats before tax, and it sucked
Fries were like cardboard, homefries undercooked and cold, sausage was so burnt you could bang it on the plate, pancakes were like rubber, bacon burnt. Peameal bacon was good!

My friend and I headed to this location by Google search for a fish n chip place and saw Wimpys and decided to eat here instead as I usually LOOOOVE their burgers. Our server was good, not great. A little slow and didnt come back to ask how our meals were and we waited awhile for the bill.. considering there was only 1 other table in at the time, I dont think that was acceptable. I ordered the junior burger with bacon and cheese and it was incredibly dry and hard. I asked for extra crispy onion rings and they were soggy and greasy. The fries were ok and my orange pop float was good. My friend had the eggs Benedict and said it was good. I wish wed have tried the Fish n Chip place in the same plaza instead. Sadly disappointed.
