Its a really nice place, good food and atmosphere, sometimes a band which is nice.

If we could give more stars, we would! We are from out of town and when we Googled restaurants to celebrate our anniversary at, many came up but not this one. It wasnt even bottom of the list. Unfortunately (or fortunately for us as we found out) we were celebrating on a Monday, and most places were closed. But we kept driving and found this unique looking spot that just piqued our curiosity. I am so so glad we went in. The charm and details of this place.... I have no words. On a rainy day, it felt like we were in a tropical resort. The drinks were awesome - I highly recommend the Flaming Skull Island, and the food was crazy good. We shared the tequila city and street fries. Compliments to the chef, everything was outstanding and I cant wait to try other things on the menu. To our surprise (and delight) it was Trivia Night hosted by Bigdumbface (i hope i have that right) and we had such fun! Couldnt imagine a better way to celebrate 13 years of marriage! Parking: Limited spaces but more than other places nearby

Visited for the first time. Food was quite good. My only complaint if any were the drinks. They tasted a little weak especially for the cost. We will visit again but this time in the summer when it s busy.

We were super excited to go to this place after reading the reviews. But, we were quite disappointed with food, service, drinks. The service was extremely slow, the food had no flavours. A Mexican restaurant - we asked for Salsa and received some kind of hot-sour sauce. Terrible experience and not worth the price and hype.

We visited during the pirate festival long weekend. The food was good but it took a long time to get it. Our drinks (wrecked ship) took about half an hour to get and the food (fish and chips) another half hour. They seem to be short staffed and what they do have were slow. The staff were kind enough to help everyone get into the shelters before the rain started to down pour and even offered an umbrella to help people out. The entertainment was amazing but loud inside.

My family and I arrived for dinner only to find out their dinner menu was not available and we had to order from the lunch menu which was limited, the food was terrible my burger look like a hockey puck black and burnt and the fries were overcooked, my family were not impressed with their meals as well. The final straw was the expensive drinks I had six alcoholic cocktails and FELT NOTHING!! I swear those drinks were watered down or didnt have one drop of alcohol in them, What a rip-off one of the worst places Ive been to in a long time, The only decent things was the service and atmosphere but it still doesnt justify the terrible food and drinks that were served.

What can I say about the Sunken Ship Tropical Bat and Tiki Lounge that hasnt already been said. From the moment we arrived I just knew this was the place for me. Live music, fun decor, professional wait staff. Chase was such a great host, Tammy was incredibly lovely. Im sure she is the pride and joy of her family. And the food. The reason to come and spend time with the sunken ship beyond the delightful experiences, it was freaking awesome. The portions were beyond generous, the taste incredible, cooked to perfection. Case in point my chimichanga was soft on the outside and crunchy on the inside jam packed with flavour. I would recommend the sunken ship to anyone. I am so ready for the night time fiesta happening this December with Sainte-Marie among the Hurons. Thank you Sunken Ship and Tiki Bar. I shall never forget you.

The place looks amazing, the staff were very friendly, and drinks were good, but horrendous service in terms of wait time. It took an hour and 45 mins to get our food, and it was mediocre at best. Dont recommend if you have a life to attend to after your meal.

The food was good but it took about 2hrs before food came out. The service was not bad but she was a bit slow. We had 1 glass of water for the 2hrs we waited for food. Atmosphere was decent, good music and trivia night is fun.

Pretty place. Good atmosphere. Terrible service. 30 minutes for drinks. Hour before we got our appetizer and hour and half to get our meals. Meanwhile there s 4 tables here and it s dead. Maybe come for drinks not for food if in a tight time schedule.

This place has alot of potential. I was excited to go, but the food was not the best. The food lacks flavour. I returned my mojitio when I tasted it and my husband also tried it had no taste. Plain disgusting. I got wine to replace my mojito. The waitress was wearing a dirty blue t-shirt which Im sorry you are serving food to people you should not be that dirty. I heard the live shows are great, but we did not get to experience that when we went. I gave them 3 stars because I do see potential as the atmosphere is a caribbean vibe, and the decoration outside in the courtyard area is appealing.

Food was great, Kristin was our server and explained that she was relatively new but you could tell she cared about giving good service and was attentive during our stay. The live music was a great touch and was friendly enough to allow one of our guest to come up and sing. Will be back. Thanks for the great atmosphere and arrive.

One of our favorite places to go! It has a beautiful interior and exterior that makes it feel so unique. Inside is tiki themed and theres always something new to look at. Outside has a beautiful summer patio and in the winter there is a fire pit and heated domes to eat inside (can fit about 6-8 people). Mondays also have trivia night, and Fridays/Saturday they have a band. Great food, especially if youre looking for authentic Mexican food. We love getting the platters cause they are perfect portions for sharing. Also we cant resist ordering a drink every time because they serve them in really cool glasses and every drink is different. Highly recommend!!! Parking: Parking lot is small but you can park on the street as well!

The place has a nice atmosphere and live music is a plus, but the food was pretty mediocre. The nachos with some beans were especially bad. Service was a bit slow (even though the waitress was super friendly and accommodating).

This wasnt what we expected when planning our visit. Your online menu doesnt match your actual menu. You were short staffed, this caused the wait staff to be overwhelmed and food orders to be incorrect. Im not sure if this is just a fluke, Im not from Orillia so I havent been before. But I probably will not be back.

We were seated on the patio first drinks and atmosphere were great. Good music was an hour before we got a second drink. We order a taste of Mexico app platter and tacos as our main. Food all showed up at the same time about two hours after ordering. Food was definitely not worth the wait.We were very disappointed with the food and paid our 150.dollar bill and left hungry

Was excited to try this cute little spot, but left quite disappointed. Given the price point of the tacos, I expect each to be more than 1/4 filled - I went out to eat at another take out burrito spot after as I was still hungry I will say they were super flavourful though! The margaritas were incredibly weak and tasted solely of juice. Unfortunately won t be returning.

Hosted a 30th birthday at this location on an Hawaiian night ! Exciting atmosphere and unique menu They host many different theme nights and this night we were able to learn how to luau dance. We were all offered traditional lei necklaces! It was a complete experience

Amazing venue. Summertime year-round inside, snow globes in the winter on the patio and cabanas in the summer. Great food, awesome staff, incredible owners. You cant go wrong. Also the best trivia night youll find every Monday and I am in no way biased by making that statement.

Place looks great, staff is friendly, drinks are fun, but the food was subpar. We tried the birria and while the broth was great the beef was dry, stringy, and bland. I highly doubt it was marinated or slow cooked at all. The portion was very small and only came with two small corn tortillas, a half cob of unseasoned and unbuttered corn, an interesting fried plantain, and the gummiest, most flavourless Mexican rice Ive ever experienced. For a $25 entree I expected much more. Tostada - mediocre. Mexican corn - decently dressed but the corn itself was bland, dry, and practically white. Churros - somehow dry and chewy on the outside while undercooked and too doughy on the inside.

I found the place driving by a few weeks ago, and I showed my partner and friends. We made plans to go for cocktails and dinner. We were all super excited, Made a reservation just in case cause there were 6 of us, we like to be respectful. The cocktails were weak. We ordered the Flaming Skull island, Hawaiian Iced Tea. My iced tea was in a small glass, so I definitely should have tasted some semblance of booze. Mexican street corn and for it not on the cob as we were told it could be ordered this way, it came as a soup, the bowl was filled with water, the corn had not been grilled, just awful and sad excuse for Mexican street corn. The Toastadas would have been great if the jackfruit was seasoned at all. Tacos Al Pastor, the meat was severely dry and hard, had good flavor, the pineapple was not grilled, big hard chunks not completely ripe. Enchiladas were good. Onions were not julienned, just big chunks, not appetizing. The sizzling burger was good, but the large chunks of Italian sausage were confusing and made difficult to eat. Sausage tasted like breakfast sausage. Also, why not use chorizo sausage and cut into long slices as opposed to awkward chunks. This was one of our most disappointing dining experiences, and we go out regularly. We sent the corn back and were not charged for it, but at that point, we were hungry and didnt want to wait for a re-fire for anything else. The menu is very large. The pastas, ceasar, and ranch wraps are confusing for this type of restaurant. A lot of menu items, Usually indicates not a lot of quality. It was as if someone called in, or they lost their chef and were scrambling to keep it together. We like to give second chances and will be back, and review will be amended. Vegetarian options: Jack fruit is an option, but it is not cooked with any seasoning.

Visited this tiki bar to grab a drink with my girlfriend. We were told we could sit in the heated winter patio, but we were told to wait 15 minutes as it was heating up. No problem. However after 20 minutes of sitting in our heated patio - having great conversation - we were told that we actually cant sit in the patios because we werent buying any food - we just wanted drinks. The place is called Tik-bar, no? They proceeded to upsell us to buy food so we could stay on the patio, but we already had dinner. Completely killed the night for us, and was overall a terrible experience. Server was nice, felt bad for her.

Omg did we find an amazing restaurant .the food was delicious, we did the a la cart Mexican buffet . And let me tell you, for 30.00 each we got our moneys worth . We will definitely be back . People you really have to try this place!!!!

In town for Banff Film Festival and reserved a table at Sunken Ship. This Ship is not sunken but Sailing with good food, selection, personality and service. Thanks for a very enjoyable experience. We will be back!

Great fondue experience

Had a great lunch today. They had Muay Thai Monday, and they were fantastic! Love the decor and what they are doing with the patio.

What a super place! The food was awesome!! Pineapple chicken kebobs!Yum!! The restaurant made you feel like you were somewhere tropical. Just loved it!!

If I could not even put a star I would...... I was so excited, driving by Tammies place all the time I thought the domes were the coolest thing ever!... I had called to book a reservation and ask for dome seating to find out it was 50$ per person who sat in the dome, not including the price of the food, oh and you dont get to choose your food theres only one option... So instead we had gone and picked indoor seating, the setting was very beautiful, the place looked immaculate.... Although the resturant was freezing, even the server herself was wearing a winter jacket.... That wasnt pleasant especially for someone with severe arthritis and another person recently out of a car accident.... We looked past that part only to order food that was 25$ each, the food was horrendous with the exception of there Shark Cootchie (thats what they call it) board that had everything that you can buy at Walmart or nofrills... Our main courses were mislead by the server, the portion size was tiny and served in pineapple plastic dollarama dishes, not a fresh pineapple bowl like she said. The rice had to of been left overs, and the sauce well.. I would of chose McDonalds sweet and sour or no name plum sauce or even a mouthfull of dirt over that.... The bathrooms were freezing and looked like they had not been cleaned in quite sometime, with a foul smell. We had the worst service ever, only saw our server once and that was 30 seconds after she dropped the food before we could get a bite in to our mouths. She also decided to enter her own tip of 15% into the machine herself like she was entitled or deserved it, I never argued it because maybe she was just delusional Im unsure. Her name was Cassie. We were given our bill a total of 115$ and not asked if we wanted anything else, dont worry we didnt thats for sure. We were safe there she sure atleast did us a favor by that. Then to come home and destroy my own bathroom if you know what I mean with pains in my stomach and each of us having to take a gravol. Next time I know to have my 1 year old nephew cook me dinner with no instructions so I atleast dont get sick or have such an awful taste in my mouth. I guess I found the answer to my question of why the parking lot is always empty at such a beautiful spot. Goes back to why personality is much more attractive to me then looks. I got fooled this time.

They have recently redecorated and renovated and it looks great! It looks like a tropical Tiki bar. We had breakfast and most of the food was very good. The one problem was the bacon we were served. It tasted off or old. We told our server and she told the cook, who insisted it was fine. We werent looking for a refund, or even a discount we just wanted to make them aware so they didnt continue serving it. Another couple had bacon shortly after us and the reaction was the same as mine. She spit it out and ate no more. Poor management decision not to fix the problem. .

Food was ok , ambience needs a facelift, washrooms are freezing and need a cleaning. Server was nice we had bacon tomato wrap with crispy fries it was ok. Also my fiancé had a burger and said it was ok with 2 drinks came out to $44.00

My wife and I wanted to experience the Snow Dome Globe dining and was not disappointed. It was private for 2, our own dining room. The Fondues were delicious. Shrimps, beef and scallops in oil. Then the other platter for cheese fondue featured pre-cook mushrooms, cauliflower, bread, olives, etc-enough for 2. We had a fabulous first experience and next time were gonna reserve one of the bigger ones for 6. Plus its heated. We love it. Our server Cassie was the best.

I d like to get a big thank you to all the employees and the owner of Tammy s restaurant I had my best experience of going out for dinner in Orillia beautiful spot to come have a drink alone or come down with family and friends. Amazing tiki bar experience

I m giving this restaurant a 5 star as there is nothing I could have suggested better ! We did Valentine s Day night in the globe for fondu night . Food was delicious ! The price was right ! Went ther for a birthday dinner and was absolutely blown away by the experience and enjoyed my time spent there. The staff and owners are very nice people.

Had a hair in my food and they remade it no issue but then charged full price. I was the only one eating at my table and everyone was most of the way through their meal by the time I got mine. Disappointed at the service for the pricing you pay. Food was good and love the new paint job.

Loved when they did the fish Fridays.

A unique experience with the decor and ambiance. Wanted to go somewhere different for lunch rather than the waterfront, old main street areas, or by the malls. Limited parking due to outside eatery pods. Food was delicious and nutritious as we ordered the daily special (chicken wrap w/cranberries) and a regular clubhouse. Reasonably priced and timely service. Wed go back again when in the area.

Treats people horribly, cant take criticism and thinks saying i wont be back to drink your premium vodka is threatening.. or was it the part that people will support your old hosts?... like i said just my opinion of a customer and neighbor..

This place used to be great-not sure if they changed owners or there is a lack of care for their business but when I went there the last few times either on my own or with a group our food has been cold and the service was slow. They also left our cups empty for over 40minutes while we ate, never asking if we wanted another drink or the refill our drinks came with. We eventually had to flag someone down to ask and were met with unneeded attitude as if we were being rude asking for a refill after having an empty glass for so long. The change in entertainment is also disappointing as they had the same DJs doing karaoke every week but theyve now switched to a different company, also making me wonder if there was a change in management. Myself and many of my friends will not be returning just to be let down by the food and service once again.

My first experience there with my daughter got our date night needless to say it s not kid friendly do not bring ur kids to karaoke that start at 7 they will not let them participate even if there s only one other table in the whole restaurant, they do not treat u with respect idk if it s because they thought I was cheap working in the restaurant for 10 years my self I know people judge their tables and give service on how they think they will be I still tip minimum 15% anywhere I go even on bad service but I will not be back here Parking: Not a lot of parking space

What and absolute fantastic place. Just happened to try it out for the first time and it happened to be a karaoke night. The food was delicious, staff was very friendly, and the decor was awesome! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Ive never had so much fun while out for dinner!

We were a group of 10 that went there less than a week ago. Unable to sit together because of seating arrangements in this place. My wife ordered wings and a large Greek salad for us to share. I ordered the appetizer platter. The platter arrived minus the jalapeño poppers as they were out. The Greek salad was no more than a mixed greens bowl with 4 slices of cucumber, 1 sliced of tomato cubed and barely any feta cheese and no black olives.. The waitress was indifferent when I pointed it out. The platter was tasteless. Our drinks only got refilled once we asked for it. My biggest surprise was when the bill arrived and I was charged $18 for a poor excuse for a Greek salad. We like to support local but this place wont see us again!

What a fun, hidden little gem in Orillia! Kids loved it here, very colourful and beautifully decorated. Food was yummy, I had the vegan tacos with pulled bbq jackfruit. Tried it for the first time and was great!

Family and friends had very pleasant dinner the other day at The Sunken Ship Tiki Bar. We stayed outside in the open air cabanas to enjoy the spring weather. Amazingly colourful and delicious dinners all round served by excellent staff. The wife had a pineapple bowl rice main course served heaping in a hollowed out half pineapple. Being a little less ambitious I had the beautifully plated lemon pepper pickerel, garnished with radish and pickled red onion, just a real treat. The walnut laced side salad with a spiced vinaigrette dressing perfectly offset the main course. Just an all round great dining experience for all of us.

Not worth it. It s very very expensive for what you get. Super small menu which gave us hope it would be incredible but it just wasn t. If you are wanting a huge bar menu it s the place to go. Just a disappointing experience all around. Food

We just had our mother s surprise birthday party here. The owner was so fast at answering my inquiries via email. They were so accommodating and helpful! They even offered to store our cake we brought into their fridge! The staff were fantastic and friendly. The food was so great! We didn t sit inside, the weather was great for outdoor dining which we wanted. It was a relaxing atmosphere with great music! Everyone at our party ordered a different dish and everyone loved their meal! Well done and thank you so much for a great experience! We will all be back!

My friends and I went for lunch the food was not great my Cauliflower bites we well done. The waitress was ok, not very personable. Our water glasses were never refilled or offered.

Food was good, but service was slow. We sat outside in the cabanas and that atmosphere was nice, as was the live music, but the tikki bar vibe is not my thing. Solidly mediocre overall, but the server was nice.

This place is such a great find! We were lucky enough to get to enjoy our dinner in the cabana patio. It felt like we were transported to somewhere tropical. Beautiful monstera and other plants all around. The outdoor seating was top notch. They did a great job setting it up. They had a live band playing, and they were amazing! It was such a fun experience. Truly amazing staff that went above and beyond. The food was delicious. Many fun and colourful drink options! I cant wait to go back!! If youre looking for delicious food with a tiki bar feel, I highly recommend checking this out. The inside looks wonderful too, but we had beautiful weather so got to enjoy the outdoor patio instead.

An unplanned stop in at the Sunken ship led to a few incredibly creative cocktails and a tour of the newly renovated Tiki bar. Tammy and Chris were super friendly and gave us some of the backstory of the restaurant. The boat bar is a must see, and so is the incredible patio! Service was fantastic as well, our server Cassie was knowledgeable, and seemed to really enjoy where she worked. A really fun take on Tiki, you can really tell that the bar is developing its own Tiki Persona. Cant wait to come back to try the food and check out some of the live music. We went to The Sunken Ship Tropical Bar for my Bachelorette! We were blown away by the Tropical decor everywhere. The food was amazing! They have amazing live music. A reggae band was playing when we went. The owners and staff were so nice! They even made sure we made it back to our hotel safe. They care about every customer that comes through their door.

Food and drink were disappointing. Two of us ordered the fish tacos. Almost no fish to speak of. The size of the fish piece in each taco was literally the size and length of my little finger. Very disappointing. We were surprised. Not worth it at all. Ordered cocktails where you could not taste any alcohol. Just tasted like juice. Rest of the food was good. Great outside and inside atmosphere and decor. Great music playing. Service was very good. Update- just read another post showing photos of the fish tacos. We definitely got shortchanged on that. Wish I had taken photos. Not cool.

Amazing patio! the frozen cocktails were great and the lemon aioli that came with the fries was a pleasent addition! I know its a tiki bar but I wish they had a little more variety in their cocktails, 90% of them have coconut which I am not a fan of but if you like coconut, this place is for you!

The environment was really fun and the food was good. Our waitress forgot everything but it didnt really matter because she was so kind and polite. I would definitely recommend trying here.

A very pleasant atmosphere and we had great fun at one of their Hawaiian themed outdoor evenings.They have the greatest staff and some amazing fancy themed cocktails.Our only wish was that the food was a bit tastier and hotter (temperature).It felt like the food might have been prepared too far in advance and the serving dishes with heaters underneath were not cutting it. The people who own this restaurant are fantastic cooks so we know it could be better.

The place has a really cool location on Main Street in orillia. From outside you see that the owner out a lot of thought and energy on it. Every little piece of decoration was well thought. Each detail makes it really unique. Plenty of space outside. Some cool areas for groups. There is also a bar outside that looks really awesome like you were in a catamaran bar party. The price is not the cheapest. But also not super expensive. I think for the reality today is fair. The service was over the moon. The lady that served us was really really nice. Drink came quickly. Totally recommend and will go back to try other drinks food and the events. Apparently they have some Hawai dancers. Buffet and other stuff during some and winter there are some dedicated events as well. Will post some pictures of the menu and the place. Stop there if you are around you won t regret. Also if you search on Waze will tell that the place is closed and I called Thamires just ignore that. We almost gave up on going because of this. Parking: There are option to park around or in their parking spot. Kid-friendliness: The theme is really cool that I think any kid would like it. And the menu has the theme from sponge bob square pants which is funny

Tonight our server was Mikaela, and my oh my did she do an amazing job. She consistently checked on us and remembered everything we ordered. Thank you for celebrating with us.

Driving thru Ontario and decided we wanted to support a local restaurant for lunch. We were turned away at the door because their patio does not allow dogs. In 2023 thats a major mistake IMO. Service

So for 2 drinks and an order if street fries with pickled onions and aioli tipped with parmigiano ... Delicious!...only complaint was not wnou good h run in my strsberry daiquiri...had to order another shot for it . .. We plan on coming in for the slice bands on Friday or Saturday! Sounds great! I stopped in to have a beer and check this place out. The food that did come out looked really good. This is a really cool little spot. I love the outdoor seating. Definitely NOT your everyday patio-style seating. Cant wait to go back and try the food.

Miss the old restaurant Tammies felt more homey and less business like. Sorry but if Im paying upwards of 80$ for a burger it better have gold in it, plus the way the menu is designed you actually cant really see the prices. The service and atmosphere was amazing though. I wont be eating here again but I did enjoy my stay.

Great neighborhood restaurant & bar with reasonable prices. Staff has been awesome on both occassions weve visited. We enjoyed it so much we reserved the dining area for a private function. Once again the service was great as well as the food. Parking: About 12-15 spaces in the parking lot attached to the restaurant as well as neighborhood street parking.

A unique and fun dining experience in Orillia, The new, mostly Mexican menu is great and the food was excellent, Well priced too, Our waitress was attentive and really helped us making our choices, We went on a Sunday and had the a la carte buffet. This is a special menu of about a dozen items - you can order as much as you want for a fixed price. They have live music sometimes too.

Extremely misleading. If you are looking for good, fresh food, this is not the place to go. The domes and outdoor atmosphere are very intriguing but they mask the truth about Tammie s place. The food is not worth $45/person. It was bland, microwaved and mediocre. We did not finish our meal and asked for our bills before we reached dessert. When we used the washrooms, they smelled foul and were extremely unsanitary. Tammie came out to discuss why we didn t like our food and was extremely passive aggressive when we provided polite but honest feedback. Our waitress Lori was fantastic and provided great service and the dome was a cool experience but we will never return based on the food and treatment from Tammie.

I got a side of onion rings with my chicken Ceasar wrap and it was 5.95 for them and I got 5 onion rings, thats roughly 1.20 an onion ring. They were delicious but thats ridiculous. Also hardly any chicken on my wrap.

Every time we go here we get treat very well, the food is good and the value is excellent. The atmosphere is outstanding.

We went here for the 1st time on June 10/22. It was our 19th anniversary. I can say we wont be back. Service was bad. Under staffed. Chicken Parm was burnt on the bottom. The bathroom needs a serious upgrade! Server never even asked how everything was, or asked if we would like another drink. Let alone have a great night. Looked at her tip & left.

Unfortunately the experience was less than favourable, the outside looked warm and inviting but to warm to sit outside. We were able to sit inside however they were not prepared for inside patrons somewhat unorganized and lacked cleanliness. Once menus were provided and viewed discovered minimal choices with pricing quite expensive. Nothing included with choices, and once items brought to the table portion size was embarrassingly minimal. Experience less than favourable.

From the moment we got there until the time we left, we were treated with such a welcoming atmosphere. So refreshing!! Our server, Laurie, was cheery and helpful. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, especially the homemade onion rings. Best EVER!! The live entertainment was a great bonus! You just have to go!! Definitely a 5 star!!

For a good breakfast at a sane price in Orillia, its hard to beat Tammies Place. Give the Eggs Benedict a try, or one of the Hungry Man breakfasts. One of the hallmarks of a good breakfast place is hash browns that arent refried again and again to the point that theyre basically disintegrating. The ones at Tammies are fresh and delicious. I will be back.

Parking: Ample reserved parking across the street.

The setting was nice, as was the live music. However the food was absolutely atrocious, like a child with no cooking skills what-so-ever (attempted) to make it. And on top of that it was way over priced. My family and I will certainly not be returning.

The place use to be affordable for most in orillia, then the patio and dome theme came along and prices sky rocketed... the weekly specials were cancelled besides the fish and chips on Friday night. ..blah ( only do a special to compete with fish and chips locations but wont offer a deal any other time) .... sadly a burger and fries and pop shouldnt cost you $20 .. the place was built on good home cooking at affordable prices .... both have fallen by the wayside. Anyone I know who was a prior customer has also not returned... place is now sold on gimmicks and booze.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. We went for lunch and had prompt friendly service. The patio is gorgeous, however we chose to eat inside. I had the Hawaiian wrap and my mother had the strawberry salad. Both super fresh and delicious! We shared a plate of fries which were similar to chip truck fries. My favorite. Will definitely be returning and sit on the patio.

I went there for lunch with my mother. I got the turkey/bacon wrap and it was pretty good. Friendly staff and we were taken care of fairly quickly. Ill probably go back.

Best breakfast place for large groups

We were visiting Orillia for the weekend and wanted to eat at a local restaurant. We discovered Tammies Place on Google Maps. I had the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl for dinner; presentation was awesome & the taste was equally good. For desert I had the Caramel Cheesecake...could have, should have shared it, but it was sooo good. I highly recommend Tammies Place.

Found the service to be very slow, our order was incorrect, and the toast was burnt! Some How the customers that arrived 20 minutes after we placed our order ended up getting there meals before us. Even after we requested the babies scrambled eggs to come before the other orders for the table, we still didn t get them any quicker! Not the service or quality I remembered!

We ate indoors as it was later and on the cool side. Its sooooo loud inside, everything echoes and you can hear conversations from 4 tables away. Server forgot about us and therefore everything took a long time. Not a fan of canned soda. I ordered the slouvaki and it was ok, except I wasnt happy it was plain, mushy minute rice and the salad was chopped so small you couldnt eat it without it falling off the fork and making a mess.

The staff was very friendly and service was prompt. However, I experienced food envy with my neighbouring table. They ordered the teriyaki pineapple bowls and they looked and smelled delicious! We ordered three things. The chicken parmesan, the fish and chips, and their new dessert, the smores brownie. The chicken parmesan was not very good at all. I substituted the red sauce for white sauce on my chicken parm and I wish I hadnt. It came with a side of fettuccine in Alfredo sauce. The Alfredo sauce tasted like processed cheese slices. It was not creamy or garlicky. I ate as much as I could of both, but only because I was paying for it. The fish and chips was okay, but not great. We did finish on a high note with the smores brownie. It looked like the new boxed brownies that you can buy from Walmart, but it was good nonetheless The owners are doing a fantastic job redecorating for more of a Tiki theme. Its just unfortunate they dont put the same effort into their food as they do the decor. Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu. It was small, but it did the trick.

Amazing food and service always

This place looked like great ambiance and fairly good reviews. I am sorry to say our experience was not good verging on unacceptable. We were given an extra menu to shoo the hornets away (that should have been my first warning) The owner should be putting up hornet traps or anything to deal with them. People would not know the extent of this and what if you are allergic to stings. The sandwich board on the street to draw people in was last night s special. The fish and chips were so greasy I had to leave the crust off of the fish as it was inedible. I wish I took a picture. It claims to be vegetarian friendly..and has one item except for usual salads. So while I can accept things may be off this is the first restaurant I ve ever written a poor review for as warranted. It makes me wonder if it s this bad what else is going on in the back with such lack of attention.

My experience at Tammy,s has been 5 out of 5 stars. The place is Happy, confortable and appleaing. The Hawaiian theme is wonderful and full of fun. Lots of seating choices. The food and the service is excellent. The menu has lots of choices and great choice .I recommend Tammys Place with 100%. I will go again and again. Seniors make sure to try this place its excellent.

I really enjoy visits Tammies. Good food & service for sure, but the way Tammie keep developing her dream is inspiring. The new boat-bar is impressive and well worth sitting at for a Christmas cocktail. Probably one of my favorite venues in Orillia. The team make you feel like family and breakfast or supper is always a good experience.
