Im here at the drive thru as I type this. Havent got my food yet. Been waiting over 20mins in the drive thru... service is a kind. But the drink I recieved is the most flat diet coke ever. No ice either... hands me an unwrapped straw with bare hands. Only 1 staff member by the looks of it on a Saturday afternoon... gloveless as well. Extremely long wait time. Very very disappointing so far. Food review: diet coke is flat barely cold and served with no ice (ice should be default). But he did switch it for me. Food is good 7/10.

Wouldnt suggest ordering food from them through skip the dishes. I order 2 of the 3 pc meals and they sent me only 2 PCs per meal an skip the dishes support team isnt offering any help.

Fries: 8.4 /10 Onion Rings: 5.0 /10 Jalapeño Shrimp: 3.9 /10 Biscuit: 6.4, until I found a giant piece of plastic in one of my biscuits, now I have to rate it a 0. Dining room: 2/5. Was freezing cold, probably around 15 Celsius. There was board games available which is a plus but I did not play them. Overall looked clean. Overall: 2/5 stars

They should have a mud mat at the south west entrance, I didnt want to track mud through the restaurant but there was nowhere to wipe off my shoes

Kajun Chicken & Seafood Orillia, Absolutely Disgusting, The worst meal I have tried in years. The chicken was reheated and like leather the batter was full of grease because it was recooked, I didnt even eat half of it, it was gross. I would never go back there, Ever. Shameful

The owner was incredibly nice. I drive a diesel truck for work, and he couldnt hear me through the drive thru microphone because of the loud engine. He walked out personally to my truck and took my order. Very personable, very accommodating. On top of that, it was the best chicken sandwich Ive had in town in years. Very happy with my choice. Much better than KFC or Popeyes.

I ordered two chicken sandwiches and a six-piece biscuit only when I got home I realized I was missing a sandwich went back to claim my sandwich that I had ordered and paid for but they told me that I had to buy the sandwich again. When I asked to see the receipt they wouldnt hand it to me. I even called ahead to make was sure there would be no problems when I arrived. They want me to repay for my sandwich Like you guys forgot the extra sandwich and you guys want me to pay again for The sandwich after I drove across town

We visited Orillia yesterday from Scarborough and tried Kajun chicken seafood. Food was fresh and tasty. Boneless chicken strips were great and hospitality of the owner Mr. Amir was amazing. He is energetic and passionate about his restaurant and work tirelessly to make every effort to make happy customers. We would love to go again and recommend everyone to try.

There is not better spicy fried chicken in Orillia PERIOD! It s sooo crispy hardly any grease and the marinade is amazing!try comparing it to Popeyes or kfc and you ll wonder how these are even open!

Tried the butterfly shimp, biscuits, wings and cauliflower bites. The bites are a great side upgrade, the shrimp was buttery and tender, the wings crispy and you have to experience the biscuits! They are topped in a honey butter that makes the trip worth it for them alone. Service was fantastic as well, will be going again.

This place is top tier fast food chicken. Used to think Popeyes was the bees knees but man was I wrong when I got my tastebuds on this deep fried, delicious, peel apart chicken. First bite I had made my mouth start watering, it was so good. I even got a little nervous because I was starting to think about how much I d be willing to sacrifice my home made dinners and lunches every week. Jokes aside, this place is amazing. And the workers are extremely friendly and nice. 10/10

For being the first time visiting the restaurant I find the staff should learn to be more polite and engaged with customers instead of speaking their own language in front of us and when we left we said good bye and thank you none of them even had the courtesy to say good bye when we left. Got delivery from door dash and wasn t given any untenable or napkins. When I called to ask why they told me it s a waste and only give out if asked except I was never given an option to ask for either dip or utensils for my chicken fingers. They were also overt greasy, the oil was dirty and could be tasted as well as all the breading just falls off the greasy brown meat chicken strips. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE!

Ordered their Kajun Chicken combo with the fries and coleslaw. Initial impression: The sides are a bit small, sandwich was sizable; but oddly lacked colour. Took a bite of the fries. They were decent, but pretty baseline. Took a bit of the coleslaw. The coleslaw was spoiled. After throwing up a bit and rinsing my month in the bathroom, I told them about it and got the coleslaw replaced with onion rings. The onion rings were a tad overdone; but acceptable given the alternative. The main course, the chicken sandwich; was mediocre at best. The chicken clearly has not been marinaded, and lacked any flavour in and of itself. The breading was overly done also lacked flavour. The sole amount of spice came from the spicy mayo on the burger. Even when eaten fresh, the amount of mayo combined with the tomatoes were a bit much and caused things to get very soggy very quickly. Overall bad experience. Even without the spoiled coleslaw; the place would be a 3/5 on a good day.

Hands down, best fried chicken I have ever had. Pieces are huge and the spicy has just enough spice to give a small kick but not overpowering. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. They made me feel valued. I ordered the spicy chicken combo and my order was prepared quickly. The quality of the chicken was A+. Crispy and fresh. I cannot compare the unique flavor to anything Ive tried but I dare to say that this chicken taste is Superior to many on the market today. The honey butter biscuit did not disappoint, it melts in your mouth. I plan on returning soon. Great job to the team.

Just got a 12pc dinner from this place. The chicken was crispy and well spiced. We got 6 mild and 6 spicy, and both were excellent. The pieces were very large, unlike that other fried chicken chain. The fries were nicely spiced, the slaw was tasty and the dinner rolls were like home baked . All in all, we were very happy with the meal, and will definitely order from there again.

Stopped into the new restaurant today. I walked out with really fast friendly service ,and the BIGGEST chicken thighs I have ever had! 10 outta 10! It was much cheaper then any other chicken joint around too! Thank you, I ll be back!

Hard to believe this place is not just packed constantly. Food is excellent, and you get plenty of it too! We had the 3 tender super combo with coleslaw and rings, for a buck more, we got an extra tender. The coleslaw is super fresh and crunchy, the biscuit was fluffy and tasty, and the tenders (mine were spicy) were huge and perfect. We couldnt finish our meals, we brought home 2 tenders each and a bunch of rings too. Give them a try, its not fast food its fresh and piping hot food, you wont be disappointed. The lovely young lady at the window was very helpful and brought our food to the car for us as well, not a long wait at all and totally worth it!

Service was good at first but then waited and waited people that come in after us were getting there order and it was all mixed up food was only barely warm and saugy wont be back.

The surf and turf combo was amazingly flavourful. The chicken skin was crispy yet the meat was juicy. The fish was crispy yet juicy as well. The sweet bun was definitely a delightful experience. The fries were crispy and lightly seasoned. Sadhika was our server and is absolutely lovely. She was so helpful with her recommendations and guided us through the menu and was extremely friendly and cute.

Came here for the grand opening and the service and food was amazing. The location is great and it s nice and clean. Drove out to try out this location from Vaughan with my family and it was worth the drive. The parking space is amazing, location is right by the main road and the food was fresh after we ordered. The owner spent 10 minutes talking to us and we enjoyed his customer service. For a new restaurant, it seems like a great start off. All the best Ami !

We were greeted promptly by the owner and warm staff here. We had a baby and owner made great recommendations for each of us. Our baby who can be picky enjoyed the chicken, my shrimp butterfly :) , fish, marinated fries and to top it off the fresh biscuit and churro. The place is super clean and has completely new feel as it is completely renovated. I love the color schemes of the walls on interior and exterior! Really gives a vibrant feel to the community! If you are looking for a delicious meal alone or in a group this place is a gem! I look forward to returning to try some more items as the menu is much more diverse than competitors with diverse seafood options as well!! PS the gravy is also delicious!

first time trying this new place in orillia, I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich and my fiancé got the chipotle chicken sandwich, mine was MASSIVE, I ate half & was full. My fiancés was a little smaller, he said it was spicy but really good. Mine was delicious, really liked the sauce on it. Fries are sooo good. Fresh & hot, served in a brown paper bag for takeout which felt so nostalgic for me. Loved the experience. My favourite was the batter on the chicken sandwich. The pop you can tell is from a new pop machine, super fresh n not flat like most fast food places.

Great! just what Orillia needed Another fried chicken place. Not sure why they advertise seafood then all they offer is fried shrimp. I was not impressed with the chicken the oil they use tasted off, it gave the chicken that old burnt oil flavour that I can t stop burping up. The chicken had no flavour, the fries were cold and dry, their biscuit was too sweet and gravy was generic and watery. I also ordered the butterfly shrimp that were small greasy and rubbery. I could not finish the dinner as it was unappealing and didn t agree with me. The pricing is a bit high 4 piece with fries, drink and 6 shrimp - $30 takeout order. When I think Cajun I want jambalaya and authentic creole original food and I was disappointed by their menu offerings. In hindsight, I should have walked out after viewing their menu. The site however, was clean, staff friendly and was plenty of parking in the empty lot. I don t think I ll be visiting again. Parking: Empty lot no customers.

Only reason I give 4 stars for the food is because I ordered the value menu chicken sandwich and, it is what is. Still really good, fries were REALLY good! Service was great, super friendly and made us feel welcome. Went in to thank the owner and got a huge smile and a handshake. Great experience, highly recommend!

Friendly staff and food tasted good, however, I ordered an 8 piece family feast (8 pieces of chicken, 4 biscuits and large fries) also added on a gravy and jalapeno shrimp. Got the order to go and was reassured they checked the order twice. Got home with the food and there were only 7 pieces of chicken and no biscuits. A little disappointed with that, but will still go back in a couple weeks once they have gotten over opening day jitters.

Ordered take out. The food was delicious. Service was amazing. As long as they keep it up they have us as repeat customers especially as its close to where we are at dinner time. Price was reasonable also. Will update if it drops to a 4. It doesnt change my score but if they thought about putting a outside light it seemed darker with the black paint.

My boyfriend and I stopped by this evening to try this place out, definitely a 10/10 and would recommend to everyone. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was delicious, and there are lots of options on the menu. We waited about 8 minutes for our food which is no big deal to us, the food was nice and fresh, and still hot after our 15 minute drive home. They did an amazing job remodelling, the atmosphere is very nice and inviting. We ve barely finished our dinner and we already can t wait to go back!

All 3 of our sandwiches were cold and undersized. Very underwhelming. Waiting 10 minuets for 3 combos and for them all to be cold was disappointing

I was there with my family couple of days ago. I loved the food especially chicken sandwich. I also tried fried chicken and chicken tenders. Food quality is great and taste is awesome. I highly recommend this place.

Cajun Chicken Super Combo with Fries and Coleslaw. Ordered food at 1:30pm on a Saturday. Overall the place us clean and the staff are very friendly. Food didnt take long at all. The breaded chicken was not dry and the sandwich was great. If you dont like spicy then just ask for no sauce. Fries even though it said spicy was not at all. Biscuits are great and fluffy. Overall I would eat here again if I didnt live 5hrs away. Was in the area visiting.

I really liked my spicy fries - they are cut thick and very flavourful. The biscuit was moist and the perfect level of sweet for us. Overall, the food was fresh and we will be back whenever we are in Orillia as the location is situated right by the waterfront!

I rarely eat fast food but me and my husband live close by and we were curious to see the new local business. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the Kajun chicken sandwich and it was really good! The portion was large (couldn t finish it), the batter was light and crispy and the chicken was thick! Sauce was terrific too. Also ordered the butterfly shrimp and it was delicious! The price was pretty spot on for what you got. All in all definitely worth a visit! I will definitely be back when the craving strikes again!

New restaurant, staff friendly and management quick to resolve an issue. We ordered 3 chicken sandwiches, fish sandwich fries and onion rings. We waited 20 min for fresh food . Much of the staff In The kitchen seemed to stand around. Although the long wait for fresh food, there were temperature issues with the food and the fish sandwich was raw. Management was quick to rectify the issue which was appreciated. With the under cooked food, temperature issues and overall taste of the food seemed to be underwhelming. The food tasted like it was cooked in under temperature dirty oil. The food ran on the greasy side. Definitely some better options. I did like that they had seafood options and management was quick to rectify the situation.

My friend s and I ordered three different meals, they didn t give us cups for our combos, the chicken was half breaded and a concerning colour, my sandwich was cold, the Mac n Cheese bites were bland. The whole time we were just placing bets on if this gives us food poisoning, and they made my friend wait 15 minutes for his food while the rest of us got ours right away Parking: Confusing as to where is a parking spot, no lines

Ok as a food critic of good food I think we have a new gem in Orillia. Kajun Chicken & Seafood on Atherley Road is in the old KFC location , comparing the two establishments has a hands down winner of the fried chicken, for size of the chicken and the taste ......yes it may be a bit more expensive than KFC but what are we looking for ? Great chicken, well its here. They have regular and extra spicy and the extra spicy is all that (the only time i have ever had extra spicy that doesnt need more heat) you will be in for a great surprise! The atomosphere is typical for a fast food restaurant, clean, bright, and festive of Caribbean. You need to try this place ............. you wont be disappointed!

We ordered a bucket of chicken which was juicy, flavorful and the outside is crunchy without being greasy. I added an order of their scrumptious biscuits after the owner/manager offered me one to try. The biscuit is soft on the inside and the outside has the perfect crispiness with a bit of honey. You dont be sorry adding then to your dinner. The staff was very welcoming, efficient & kind.

Overall the food was underwhelming the biscuit is undercooked, chicken dripping with grease, and the gravy tasted off. The staff was friendly enough but cant see them staying open with 4 employees and no customers.

Chicken was great! Tender, but not overly greasy, the sandwiches were juicy (in my opinion, better than popeyes), and the honey buttermilk buns were DELICIOUS!

Ive had Cajun twice and it was very good each time. Ive had the chicken pieces, the sandwich and poutine all were good and the portions were large. The staff are very friendly.

Staff were very friendly, however our order was wrong, the chicken was tough and batter falling off, not to mention the portions are small. We were supposed to get chicken tenders , mild ended up with spicy nuggets that I couldnt eat. It was a waste of $30. Maybe other items are better but we wont be going back. Make sure to check your order before going home

The front cash worker made us feel welcome and greeted us with a smile. He advised of the specials that were on the menu. I had the chicken tenders, spicy fries and the cauliflower bites. All were moist and flavourful. It is worth the drive out to Atherley if you want to try something new. Will be back :)

This restaurant is a 10/10. Friendly staff, tasty and fresh food!! I m very happy I didn t listen to the Karen s in the reviews because this spot is a GEM. People will find anything to complain about. The restaurant was extremely clean and well maintained. I ordered the spicy chicken which was delicious along with their fresh fish. I ordered a ton of food and it was all within a very reasonable price. I highly recommend their biscuits (probably one of the best biscuit I ve ever ate). Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend this spot. Will definitely be back!!!
