Food was under cooked. Service terrible girl was more interested in gossiping behind the counter then working. Only plus was nice girl at front who took me to table and brought my coffee.. No tip left. Fench toast was soggy not cooked inside..

This diner is our go to. The food is always delicious and priced very reasonably. The food portions are very generous, you wont leave hungry. The servers are always attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is upbeat. Its always clean and so are the washrooms. Highly recommend Vegetarian options: The menu has lots of options for vegetarians Dietary restrictions: There menu caters to do dietary restrictions. Parking: The parking is very large Kid-friendliness: It is kids friendly and have coloring sheets and crayons to entertain the little ones while they wait for their order Wheelchair accessibility: The diner can accommodate wheelchairs and strollers easily

Fish and chips were great, but made the mistake of having a banana milkshake 1st. They are to die for but its like having desert 1st. Couldnt eat all my fish and chips. Highly recommended

Parking: Found through Google map. Got there just before closing. They invited us to sit and dine in if we wanted to. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food was made to order, and delicious. I highly recommend this Wimpy Dinner.

Took my mom here for lunch today save your money. The crispy chicken was over cooked and drier than sawdust! The waitress was kind and efficient so I tipped her well but I hope none of it goes to the kitchen staff! This had to be leftovers from yesterday!

Good food, good service

Been taking my wife and daughter there for breakfast as a treat every now and again. Always a great experience. A touch on the expensive side, but the service and food has always been excellent, and the bottomless pot of coffee is great.

Old diner with small portions.. charged my 2 dollars for some mushroom.on my sandwich.. the waitress literally brings one sliced up mushroom....1 hahahahaha

The vegetable omelet was great, and the potatoes even better! Excellent service too! Worth a stop.

We went in and had the hot turkey sandwich. Was thinking the usual... you know... similar to what you get most everywhere.... but not here. One word. Epic. Had to be the best Hot Turkey open faced sandwich Ive ever had. Definitely will be there again many times. Its a bit of a drive for me... about thirty minutes... but sooooo worth it. Get here. Get this. You wont be disappointed. (See you there... hugs. )

We popped into Wimpys ,last minute, for early Sunday dinner. We ordered a junior burger no sides, and chicken parm with Alfredo pasta and garlic bread. Food arrived promptly, burger was great with an abundance of condiments. Chicken parm looked awesome, but the pasta had a hair in it (oops). Our waitress quickly apologized and reordered my husbands meal. With multiple apologies and a whole new plate,it arrived hot, fresh and perfect. They even removed it from our bill( totally not necessary). Id give these guys 5 stars just on how they handled the entire situation. Very professional and good at what they do. Well be back. Kid-friendliness: Great selections but portions are huge for small kids

This is A WIMPYS, lemme tell you, the service was phenomenal, the food was cooked well, and its very well decorated. Kid-friendliness: Its nostalgic and its always great to share your nostalgia with your kids :) Theres also cool posters all over for them to look at!

I enjoy this dinner, like their home fries, but not their fries. Easy fix I substitute home fries, burgers and breakfast meals are great.

Just came here for the first time. My husband got the pea meal eggs Benedict and I got the big BLT sandwich. Both very good! Very clean and cozy atmosphere. Candace was our server, and she was all smiles and very welcoming and attentive. Will definitely come again one day! Thank you!

I wont be going to this one any more they messed up my eggs twice couldnt even get it right i didnt even eat anything the server was good but the cookes couldnt get it right at all

Ah, Wimpys Diner, where culinary dreams are made and coffee dreams, well, languish. I dined alone, excited for comfort food in an almost empty house. With just two other tables and a pair of servers, my expectations soared as high as their magnificent turkey club sandwich, an edible edifice that did not disappoint. But lets not overlook the coffee cup filled just once and then woefully abandoned, like an unread book gathering dust on a shelf. My server was agreeable enough and even made a fleeting appearance after my first delicious bite. But then? Coffee refill oblivion.Considering the sparse crowd and a server-to-table ratio that shouldve been in my favor, I couldnt help but mourn my $3 single cup of coffee, which left me more sleepy than sprightly. So, Wimpys Diner, your turkey club is a triumph, but your coffee service hit a flat note. Would I return? Absolutely. But next time, I might just bring a backup thermos of java.

Always great food and great staff

Its always meh. I like it here but the food is consistently mediocre. Home fries are good but when you ask to substitute tomatoes for fries and toast and you get 6 slices of paper thin limp tomatoes thats hard to swallow the cost of 20 dollars for for 3 eggs, 3 pieces of peameal and a coffee. I will explore more options locally. Too bad because the atmosphere is excellent.

Wimpys are great! So it was a nice surprised when I drove in the area looking for coffee and saw the sign for wimpys. The service was great, from the greeting to serving our drinks and food. The wait staff did a good job on taking our orders and making sure our cups were full. The food was as good as expected. Wish my deep fried potato rounds were crispy. They must have been pan-fried and then dipped in the fryer.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the burgers were tough and dry (but alarmingly big, twice the size of the bun!). I had cheese on my burger, but couldnt taste it at all -- and no, I dont have covid. The fries in the poutine were nicely done, but the gravy was unremarkable. There are plenty of places with tastier food than this.

Absolutely loved Wimpys. Spotless and taking covid seriously. Fun decor and excellent service and food. Our server Jasmine was knowledgeable and fun. Clearly experienced, attentive and fun. Truly a great asset to this restaurant. The chef was fast and prepared our liver and onions with skill and care. Great menu with choices to please any palette. Totally worth the money. We will definitely return to this Orillia location and bring friends. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Good but overpriced. I spent 16.00 on a 10oz burger and a glass of water and tip.

Went there for date night with my wife. Great food and very friendly staff. You cant beat the diner atmosphere. We havent gone out to dinner much during the pandemic but after that experience we will definitely be going back.

Weve eaten here at least four times and it is always a pleasant experience. No issues at all! Were very familiar with the menu because we eat at the Barrie locations all the time!

Friendly staff, great food. We didnt realise it was so late when we went out for dinner, the dinner was closing at 9 and we showed up around 8:30. At no point did we feel rushed or like a nuisance. We didnt even realise how late it was and that they were closing at 9 until we left and saw them starting to turn the lights off. We felt so bad, however that goes to show their professionalism and care for providing us with such great customer service.

Went in late on a Tuesday afternoon. Only one waitress. She was a real pro, extremely polite and caring. One of the best waitresses I have ever seen in action. We could not be happier with the service we received. Food was timely and excellent. Prices were really reasonable. We are not from the area but will definitely go back when the occasion presents itself. Truly 5 star stuff. Thank you!

Went to your location in Orillia on University Ave. We were seated and ssat there for 20 and no one came to take our order. There were about 5 waitresses standing behind the couter and just talking. So we left and went to the other Orillia Location. We will never be back. Very upset as it was our favorite location

Prices skyrocketed ! Almost double!!! I use to come here all the time, and paid a good amount of money for my meal. Never will I come here again for the price. Absolutely absurd he is charging double on everything!
