Burger was good service was horrible..Waited to be served looked for a waitress..She left went across the street came back ignored us. We had to go look for her to get our bill and clear our table then had to go look for her to bring the machine. Horrible!

Excellent burger and wings although they didnt advertise the wings anywhere online, it was a pleasant surprise. The new girl there was a great waitress. They had some beer tap issues the day we were there but the beer we ordered was great. Pity I didnt get a Guinness and hope they resolved it!

Had a snack with hubby, son and granddaughter today during the Orillia classic car show. Was very disappointed with the nachos. Dry and boring with very little cheese. Did not get our moneys worth.

The patio could use an umbrella but service and food was wonderful! They had no problem with us having our dogs!

They were definitely understaffed!!! Took almost an hour to get our meals! Food was decent. My family members who ordered a burger thoroughly enjoyed them, my husband was disappointed in the chicken wings and my nachos were soggy!

I was treated to dinner by friends for my birthday. The food was very good. Unfortunately, we went on open mic night so I guess the server assumed we were there for the show. The service was terrible. Probably should have stuck to our first choice and waited in line at Studebakers.

After having great experiences at both Barrie locations we decided to give the Orillia location a shot. While the flavors were great there wasnt a lot of meat on either my husbands beef burger or my turkey burger. I mentioned this to our waitress who assured me that they put 2- 3 oz patties on each burger. I am 100% positive there wasnt even half of that on ours. Todays visit was definitely disappointing :(

Best smashing burgers in the area

Service was not good - we got there at 8:30 and left at 9:30. Saw four people from our section have to go up and get their bill from the bar (which should ve been a sign lol). We got a spinach dip and it was really good, but decided to leave instead of waiting to get served for our mains. I think they were short staffed but it really wasn t that busy.

So when I placed my order over the phone the girl was in a rush... so when I ordered nachos with no jalapeños n received my order with a ton of them I am allergic to them so my dinner was ruined and they didnt even offer to replace them or refund me.... it was my first time ever ordering from this restaurant and never again... when I called to tell them about it the guy said he would let the girl know to take orders more carefully

Went in with my girlfriend for dinner. The food was good but nothing amazing, I would eat it again. There was live music that night which we were not expecting but was not a problem for us. If you do not like loud music you should not go on a music night because it is a small building and gets quite loud/ hard to talk. The main issue we had, was a man that came into the restaurant who appeared to be down on his luck I will say. The bartender new him by name and i believe he only ordered some fries from the bar. He was then trying to make eye contact with customers in the restaurant the hole time he was there and acting weird, moving tables acting erratic. A middle aged couple was sitting closer to the door and to the man that had come in. When the man from the couple by the door went to the bathroom the down on his luck guy approached his wife and asked her for money. Of course he waited for her husband to leave before cornering her and asking for the money, which I believe she gave him some. He then proceeded to sit right next to me and my girlfriend. I could tell he wanted to perform the same trick and try and ask for money. Luckily he got the message from my body language that it would be a bad idea to bother my girlfriend and I when we are trying to have a nice meal. The main issue with all of this was that the bartender (also a women) new him by name and provided him with food that was most likely not paid for, only to allow him to hang around the restaurant and haras paying customers and make them feel uncomfortable. Especially waiting for a women to be alone to approach her!!

You can never go wrong with a Kenzingtons Burger! So much quality goes into everything on their menu. Great food, consistently!

Servers were awesome despite being run off their feet.

I have been trying to catch the Tuesday night open mic jam since I found out about it last summer and this week I finally made it. I didnt have a band with me, so the host played guitar and I sang two songs. I got a good response from the audience, so Im hoping to get back again soon. Parking: I have always been able to park on the street, usually right in front. There is also lots of space on the side streets. The open mic jam starts at 9:00 so all the stores are closed by then.

We ate here last week. I had the Hawaii Five-O burger and it was soooo good. Everyone (party of 6 including 2 kids) loved their burgers, the meat is tasty and perfectly cooked. I had the side salad with it and everything was fresh and tasty. Next time we are in the area, well definitely stop in again.

Just received our burnt over cooked chicken breast sandwich and a order of burnt chicken fingers from skip the dishes. We complained and they would only refund half the money when I even offered to take it all back to kenzingtons . This is the last time we will order from here as we have had issues in the past I would not recommend this place and it is way to expensive for the quality of food. Spend your money at Burger King .

Had a great evening

If I could give zero stars I would. We, four adults and one child, had lunch here. It took over an hour to receive our straight forward simple orders. Tables were filled after ours, had drinks, their meal, more drinks and left. We had visible minorities in our group (and they were the only ones in the restaurant) , I dont like to think that could have played a role but it makes you wonder when you are blatantly ignored. The service and hospitality are greatly lacking.

We went in for new years. We were given incorrect information before we got there about what time our son could stay until. After discussion with the manager we came To a resolution. This unfortunately did not carry over for the rest of the night when we assume our waitress did not expect a good tip and the manager came over to politely kick us out. Luckily we handnt paid yet so they re out our bill plus the very generous tip that we were going to leave. Way to go mr. Manager. I hope your staff thanks you for the wasted time.

Well this was ultimately the best burger experience Ive had in a long time, great food great environment great service warming atmosphere lovable staff delicious food. Had a great time cant wait to go back. Definitely a five out of five on the burger scale and Ill tell you Im telling everyone. If you like hamburgers and you havent been to Kensington its a must , get the sweet potato fries

Just moved to orillia , thought I would try kenzingtons here and nothing but disappointment on several occasions. Service was terrible from majority of the servers except for one young guy. Sat for over 25 minutes before being served on a Sunday evening. Will not recommend or be coming back.

Burger was outstanding. Beer list offers a decent variety of flavour palletes but this place would kill if they ventured into smaller independent craft breweries imo. Service was decent. Overall would recommend.

Service was stellar, fast and friendly. Apps were excellent, we got the fried curds and jalapeño poppers, both super hot, fresh, crispy and fortunately not bland like the frozen stuff from the store. Jalapeño had a fresh crisp bite to them. Very flavourful, the breading was so crispy and salty without being greasy. Burgers were more ordinary but still good, sweet potato fries particularly tasty and hot. Atmosphere was pretty bland and indistinct but the food was impressive, got a new staple for when were back in the area.

Went there Saturday night, the guy who served me was horrible , absolutely no personality, looked miserable clearly hates his job (probably should get a new one). I asked for a sangra with a little ice because I have sensitive teeth and this is what I got . I swear I havent even take a sip out of it. 13 $ sangra looks like this . Just pathetic.

My husband ordered take out from Kenzies tonight as a surprise. We ordered the Spinach Artichoke Dip, the club with sweet potato fries, and a Cobb salad. Ill start with the positive. The dip was delicious and the portion was a great size. The club sandwich was good and very filling. The sweet potato fries were a very small portion, and also very undercooked. The main reason for my review is the Cobb salad. It was an absolute disaster. It came in a smaller container (a half container rather than a full one) which was surprising for a meal sized salad, especially one that cost just under $27. Upon opening it, the smaller container was barely half full. I was shocked at how little there was in it. I guessed 1/2 a cup of lettuce. After closer inspection, there was actually no lettuce. Its supposed to come with romaine (which is the main bulk of the salad) and it had none. It only had some kale and cabbage in it. My husband said it was super tough and just awful to eat. Even the toppings were poorly prepared, as nothing was cut. In my husbands words, I didnt realize that when I ordered it I was ordering a build your own meal. Honestly this salad has disappointed him so much that its put him in an absolute terrible mood. Certainly if we had been at the restaurant we would have sent it back. Its still important for restaurants to provide the same quality to take out orders as in-house orders. Quality control is always important. Quite literally, if you are thinking of having a nice night in with your spouse, do not order from Kensington Burger Bar. It has ruined our whole evening. I would not recommend this restaurant to friends or family.

AHHHH-MAZING. My husband and I recently moved up to orillia about a year ago and have been trying all sorts of places in town. Everyone kept mentioning kenzington, but Im not much of a burger person. HOWEVER! We went friday to try it out, and let me tell you how we went back sunday night for seconds. Im sure we will be back again, and again and again. Stagg are SO nice, service is SO fast. The quality of food is like non other. Im offically a burger person now, or at least a kenzington burger person. Also, their cesar salad dressing is made in house and it is the absolute BEST cesar salad dressing ive ever tasted. I really want the recipe . Wish I could give this place a 1000 star rating! Life long customers here now!

Ive been here a few times and it is very tasty. Yesterday was a bit of a miss, I got the Kenz Mac poutine and there werent any onions or pickles as the menu indicated. Overall though, always a good spot to hit in Orillia.

Burger patty was on the drier side and didnt realize the burgers we ordered came with two beef patties. But the service was good!

My kids and their friends went there for dinner. They had the poutine and the burger. The poutine was bad. Kids had stomach aches after. Once they were done bills were split evenly. One of the kid gave $20 tip to the server, she stood there and asked the kids that s it? Seriously!!!! The kid needed up giving her another $10. The waiter should be happy that the kids who were under 13 decided to tip her. Management should train your staffs to be professional.

Hands down one of the best places to get a delicious burger. The staff are exceptional, super friendly and engaging. Got the Prime Burger with the Garlic Parm fries and couldnt get enough! If theres any place youd consider, dont rule this place out as your number one because it is worth it!

Food was hardly edible. We went out for a late night dinner and opted to take food to good. Chicken fingers were dry and hardly tossed in any type of sauce (as requested). Popped into Kensingtons with many work friends after a long day. Forgot to make reservations but the staff made it work for use which was very much appreciated. Service and food was amazing. Unfortunately they dont do medium rare hamburgers anymore but it was all still great. You cant go wrong with this pub restaurant.

There were a bunch of young adults having a good time so it was a bit noisy.

The Kenzington Burger Bar is a clean, unassuming, and welcoming space. The choice of burgers is impressive. A nice variety of buns and patties gets you started. My beet and cashew patty was most interesting. It lacked a bit of flavour but was satisfying. I added goat cheese cause a burger needs cheese. My companions burger choice (meat patty) was very well received. I also had a very fresh house salad with Kenzingtons own excellent vinegrette dressing. If craft beers are your pleasure the Kenzington has ample choice. Our Server did her job very well; she was suitably attentive and knowledgeable.

First time eating here and I came with my girlfriend. they appeared short staffed which I don t blame on the waiting staff but they did appear visibly stressed. It took probably 15 minutes from sitting down to getting menus and ordering drinks. Drinks came reasonably quick, however it took at least 45 min- hour to get our food which arrived cold, and the fries were stale. The side of fries I received was very small as well. I asked for another drink which I never received. We needed to request cutlery to eat. We were rarely checked in on by the staff. The location was nice. will not be coming back.

Good atmosphere, awful everything else. Sat outside on the patio today and there was live music on the street which was fun. However, we waited at least 15 mins once being seated to have our drink order taken. We also waited a good 45-60 minutes for our food, which was cold. I got a poutine and my partner got a burger and fries. His bun was cold and our fries were stale. My poutine seemed like it hadn t been warmed at all. The gravy and cheese were cold and my fries were soggy. It didn t have any queso like it was supposed to. Also, it was super expensive for the quality. My poutine was $15. The service was not good. It s clear they re understaffed and busy, but the wait time was ridiculous. Wouldn t recommend.

We found this amazing place in Orillia by walking downtown during a Friday art fair. The streets are closed to traffic, and pedestrians can stroll leisurely. Kenzingtons was busy, but we were seated right away. The burgers are a piece of art! This was the best hamburger I have ever had! I only wish I lived closer to go more often! Dietary restrictions: They have gluten friendly options, and the bun was soft, not crumbly!

My favorite place for a burger because there are so many options and kinds that I wouldnt just make at home. Love getting one of their dressed up poutines or some late night appetizers. Deep fried cheese curds are addictive. Open mic night on Tuesday, ran by Timmy, is always a blast to attend and Im so happy that there is live music every weekend. Servers/bartenders are all amazing. I always get the best service at Kenzies. Plenty of taps to choose from if you want a pint and tons of other bar options.

Came here with my family on a Friday night. We thought they known for their burgers so a few of us opted for them, little did we know they came with a side of food poisoning. 3 men down! Chicken burger was ok, fries were over cooked and hard, onion rings were inedible. Everything was just below average minus the beef food poisoning which took us by surprise as they re known for burgers. Would recommend if your goal is sickness and food poisoning, otherwise stay away!

We spent Friday night having our anniversary dinner at Kensington. I called ahead and they were very helpful making a reservation for me. We arrived and were treated very well Allowed us to pick the table I preferred and had a great experience. They did extra things we requested without any negativity and we had a good time The only thing I could suggest for them is maybe find a way to check the order with the one requested, its a busy Place and hard to hear Im sure. Anyway, they went far above and beyond and we were very pleased with the bill as much as other things. The food was a nice change of pace. We like new and interesting ... This was definitely that... Thanks very much for making our special night one that felt that way P.s. the staff wished us a happy anniversary... thanks for making my wife feel special!

Awesome Burger !!!

Kenzington burger at Barrie is my favourite burger location so I stopped by the Orillia location for dinner. I was impressed by the quality of the service from the staff and how delicious the burgers were. The August burger of the month was super tasty but there wasnt enough sour cream or kettle chips to be tasted. The ceasar salad wasnt as good as the Barrie location, the croutons tasted store bought and the Parmesan looked like the artificial powder. The fried chicken was extra deep fried and tasted really great. Highly recommended location overall for burgers. Dietary restrictions: There are vegan bun and protein options for burgers and cheeses can be substituted for vegan mozzarella.

Visited on Saturday during the car show, undoubtedly one of their busiest days of the year. The outdoor patio was great, save for the wasps that were also visiting. We tried the wings, which came out of the kitchen lukewarm. Our server was a delight and truly did her best amongst the crowd - props to her, but will be trying the burgers next time.

SHANNON one of the managers was extremely rude to me, cut me off while I was trying to talk to her and threatened me after my first drink. DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE DUE TO HER ATTITUDE AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

They are very allergy friendly! And their vegan Mozzarella tasted very good. Great vibe and staff. Menu is full of tons of options for everyone. The In-Training burger was probably one of if not the BEST burgers I have ever had. I am excited to visit again to try the Kitchen Sink! Their Bacon Jam was so delicious I want a bowl of just that! The quality of food has gone down hill.

My husband and I just ate here, I got the supreme poutine he got the pork one. His was decent for the most part. Mine was disgusting, stone cold, they gave me maybe a handful of fries and filled the rest of the bowl with gravy and sour cream. It took me less than 4 mins to eat the amount of fries and that was with conversation. I brought it to their attention and figured they just wouldn t charge for it, nope still $10 and they said it s supposed to be like that. Do not recommend at all, the 2 poutines and we shared a desert was almost $50.

The quality of the food was top notch. Great gluten-free and dairy-free options, which my girlfriend requires. My favourite kind of music was playing in the background. Definitely a worthwhile stop. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating of gluten-free and dairy-free.

Went there for lunch today. Onions rings were plated and served burnt so we sent them back to be redone. I went back to kitchen for salad dressing and the female cook definitely did not appear happy to be redoing onion rings. Kensingtons burger use to be a single decent patty and they have since changed to two flattened patties also over cooked. The chicken on my Fiesta salad was way over peppered as well as the fried cheese curds batter was way over salted. Meal was terrible but we were hungry so ate what we could. Upon leaving Kensington s I visited the ladies room which smelled like doo doo. Positive note is our server was great and the hibiscus margaritas she made us were also great. Kensingtons, your game has way dropped notably in the kitchen. Disappointing lunch experience today.

Burnt Jalapeños poppers. Actually black jalapeño poppers. Half decent burger and burnt to a crisp egg. Mustve been a busy night and I got left over food. Burgers are all Ill eat here.

I came once before a couple of years ago was very happy with everything. This time, however, I was disappointed with the food or lack there off for the price I paid. The quality of the food was very good, exceptional! But; I opted for a side of Caesar salad over fries. When I received my food, I was dumbfounded at the portion size of my Caesar salad! When I questioned my waitress, she said that was the half portion, full portion is $17! I just thought wow! Romaine lettuce is worth more than bacon! I definitely won t be going back here if that s the bang I m getting for my money.

Truly not a terrible experience but wasn t good by any means, which is really sad. We go to kensingtons is Barrie all the time and love it. The food was meh. The service was meh. And the atmosphere was meh. It all started when they brought my boyfriend a bubbly cider and me a completely flat cider. I was mortified. I was surprised they served both! They replaced it which was kind but I shouldn t have had to ask. It wasn t busy they should have noticed the pour. I ordered chicken wings, which were meh- not terrible but meh. And my boyfriend got deep fried cheese curds which were a little too oily- again not terrible but meh. We love the small Kensington chain. But will not go back to the Orillia location again.

I went for lunch here yesterday, I almost finished my Cesar salad when I noticed there was a small hair at the bottom of my salad. Which was disappointing because I wanted to finish it.

Great Burger Place downtown. Food is great, service was outstanding. Day time lunch specials are great. Next time in Orillia, Im going back to this place.

Quite a disappointing night at Kensington. The blue cheese burger was quite sour tasting and very unenjoyable, our fries spanned a whopping 2cm in length on average, and overall I enjoyed my Juicy IPA more-so out of a can, rather than the draft edition that I was served tonight. Very poor main dish, side and beer overall. Extremely disappointing evening, however we were reimbursed %25 of the cost of the order, and our service was very understanding and respectful.

Enjoyed an excellent burger here. Service was good and friendly. The atmosphere is simple and suits the restaurant and menu. I would recommend this for anyone looking for some good burgers or bar food (onion rings were a great surprise, some of the better Ive had). I will be a return customer the next time Im in the area.

Thought I was given yam fries at first until I tried some, that was potato fries burnt & stale possibly cuz it was double fried. Requested an extra boiled egg with my Cobb burger that I was charged for which I didn t receive. Apparently I wasn t drunk enough to enjoy their food, burgers are half decent but it doesn t matter as I won t be coming back.

Went there for dinner this evening, place was packed and they were clearly short staffed. However, our server Shannon was phenomenal. Very friendly, excellent service, checked in on us, the whole nine yards. Food was good but the service, out of this world. Will definitely be back!

I took a trip here on recommendation of a friend. It was a Sunday afternoon so I wasnt expecting much from a bar. But the staff were attentive and efficient. Our food was very good. We ordered coffees and burgers. The coffee was very good. My burger was excellent, as well as the fries. The bartender, that served us was an excellent server. And the atmosphere in the restaurant was lively. Overall it was a great experience!

Got the big old kitchen sink burger, & man was this delicious. Always fantastic service, great food, honestly best restaurant & bar in town.

The Kitchen Sink burger was SO good. We shared it with a poutine between two people and it was a very satisfying meal. Tried the apple cider and it was great as well. Service was very friendly, will come back again when we are in town!

Food was great, service was awesome. Great live music. Music is loud so may not be for you but my wife and I loved it. Awesome place!
