125 Mississaga St E, Orillia, ON L3V 1V6, Canada
Small breakfast restaurant open daily for dine in and take out.
Came to enjoy a late breakfast and the eggs were cooked to perfection for our Benedicts. Ordered "Classic" and "Bacon and Tomato". The place is in the small side with the kitchen visible and open. I would suggest proper ventilation for this place as it did get stuffy during our visit. There were a lot of flies buzzing around our table and in the washroom - so some fly stickies would have been great. Highlights about Food; food came quickly. The hollandaise sauce is very good with enough being served. The fruit were fresh and didn't taste of onion or garlic.
This is a nice independent place for breakfast in Orillia. Friendly service. Refills with coffee. My eggs Florentine were decent. Good selection of fruit. I wanted to like the potato waffle more but it was still dry. Still tasty. I’d recommend this restaurant.
Delicious food with great service. You can’t go wrong with their classic eggs benny. I was even tempted to splurge a bit and get the lobster one. Next time, I suppose!
This is my first time coming here for breakfast, and I was reading all the reviews, so I decided to give this place a try, and I ordered the princess egg Benedict, which was absolutely awesome. The service that I got was absolutely perfect. I want to thank Crystal for greeting me the minute I walked, and she was very helpful with making a good decision on what to try. 125 Breakfast orilla is an awesome place to come for breakfast. I would give more than 5 stars if I could
AMAZING! Lobster eggs benny was the best eggs benny I have ever had. Wonderful service, delicious coffee, and a perfectly cooked breakfast. Everything was perfectly prepared… right down to the fruit and potato waffle. We will definitely be back!
Nice upscale breakfast place that opens till 3. We had a delicious meal here. A meal is different than a traditional diner breakfast with some effort towards making the dish better and on presentation plating. Portion sizes are on the smaller end which worked well for us. Would return.
Came here on a whim while exploring Orillia and it was truly the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. We ordered the mushroom crepe, croque madame, and eggs benedict. The mushroom crepe was out of this world - very well seasoned and full of different types of mushrooms. The potato waffle was absolutely delicious. Even the fruit was great - super fresh! The service was quick and friendly. The environment was cozy. I couldn’t have enjoyed my time here more. Highly highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.
Great place for having a special breakfast. The prices may be above average, but so is the food. I had the croissant and my wife the lobster Benny. Both were absolutely delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. A great experience. I wish we could afford it more often.
We were here over the weekend for a late breakfast. It wasnt good. As I went to pay the bill, I was horrified by the state of the kitchen environment. It was a filthy mess. Flys, buzzing around food on the floor and countertops. Garbage cans full of food waste spill out and all over the floor. The countertops had food, papers and other rubbish everywhere. The lone cook had raw bacon next to cooked bacon on the grill. A young girl sat in the corner of the kitchen flipping through her phone, oblivious to the mess, dirt and chaos around her, not attempting to do her part by helping out in any way. Our waiter was a very polite young man. First and last visit, thankfully, we were just passing through. * In response to the owner, I wasnt angry about not getting the bill, that was the least of the issues. The filth and disorganization with flys buzzing around everywhere was the issue. You couldnt find the machine for me to pay because it was buried under the clutter of papers and other junk covering every inch of the kitchen counters.
I love the food quality and presentation each time I go. And I try something different each time.
Food was good but the server they have is horribly unattentive and looks like he just rolled out of bed and Ive had to repeatedly ask for things each time Ive gone. Last visit we sat waiting for us to be acknowledged as being finished eating to request our bill with dirty empty dishes for well over 30 minutes when they were not busy at all. Then he finally acknowledged us to request the bill after about 40 minutes of being done and left the dirty dishes. Then brought us the bill and still left the dirty dishes. While mostly just chatting up the cook (who I believe is the owner) almost the entire time. The 3 other tables in at that time also were left waiting ridiculous amounts of time for the basics like their coffee they ordered probably over 10 minutes before getting them. Horrible server, which is unfortunate because we enjoyed our first visit as far as the food goes and being new to this town, we were planning to visit regularly. I had served for over 10 years before, including managing a Moxies. So I understand the job and usually tip very well (20-25%). But now I am reluctant to go get that level of service again.
Food was very good Service was also very good Parking: Paid parking lot across the street Food : 4/5 |
Too expensive for this amount of food. 90 cad for two.
Eggs Royal. Must visit this place for breakfast. Menu is eggsellent! Service A+
5 STARS CLEAN,FRIENDLY SERVICE, GOOD COOFFEE ,GREAT FOOD AND COMFORTABLE. Ask for Angie
The croque madame was really good!!
Food and service were wonderful but the bathroom was absolutely filthy. The floors and trim looked like they had never been cleaned ever.
Great breakfast. Homemade hollandaise sauce and fresh fruit served with breakfasts, and lets not forget the wonderful potatoe waffle.
Food was excellent. Service was lovely. The space was very pretty! Lots of plants & beautiful artwork inside.
Food was good and so is the service. Only thing is the ventilation needs to be improved, our clothes smelled like grease after we walked out.
Best Eggs Benedict and potato waffles around. A must try.
Great little place. The Croque Madame is truly excellent!
Excellent breakfast choices I enjoyed the wild mushroom crepe. Easy stop just off the highway. Unpretentious diner feel to the place.
Hidden breakfast gem, specializing in eggs Benedict.
The reviews are all correct. This place is great.
The food was as delicious as it looks. Must try brunch place in town. Their princess eggs benedict and 125 Breakfast croissant is amazing.
My family and I were excited to check this cute breakfast spot out but ended up leaving quite disappointed. It was a busy Saturday morning, however despite several opportunities for one of the waiters working to greet us and provide a general sense of what the wait time would be, no one did. We happily waited at first but started to get a bit frustrated after 20 minutes or so, only to be told (only after asking) that their only highchair was broken. It was very obvious we had a toddler with us and it would have been appreciated if we were told ahead of time that there wasn t a seating option for her. I expressed my frustration to one of the waiters regarding the lack of communication only to be interrupted by one of the other waiters who had no idea what we were even discussing and was rudely told that they couldn t ask people who had already paid to leave to clear up a table, which was not at all what we were discussing. We left after that interaction due to the rudeness of the staff. Overall we were super disappointed with the customer service and we didn t even eat there. The food did look good, but at the end of the day poor service trumps all.
Service is terrible, waited 10 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. The one short haired blonde was out in La La land, could have being way more efficient with how she was working. After 10 minute we were told that it won t be to much longer, then after another 10 minutes we go to get seated and the blonde server says oh our high chair is broken after standing there for 20 minutes. She proceeds to sit the people next in line while we had to wait for another table. The table we were waiting for, the people were clearly waiting for the bill but the server was just working in the slowest possible way, they were probably finished for about 15 minute before she brought them their bill. The place has 7 tables and 2 servers so it s not like they were running of their feet. We voiced our frustration to the other server stating that it would have been nice to know that they didn t have a high chair and that it would roughly be a half hour wait considering we had a 2 year old with us. The blonde server walks up with an attitude and says it s not like I can make them go any faster which is not even remotely close to what we were complaining about, it was just about how the service was. We decided to leave when she acted like that and go to mariposa bakery, they never disappoint. (Great food and customer service) With the service we received from the blonde with the attitude, which is either a manger or the owner, we won t be going back.
Amazing lobster Benedict!
Delicious quality food which is fairly priced for what youre getting. Wait was only 10 mins or so on a sunday which isnt bad for a small place. We will be back. Thank you!
Great breakfast spot. The most delicious potato waffles. Fresh fruit. Nice, quaint spot for nice conversation. Great service too! Had eggs and bacon with a side of sausage and fresh OJ.
First time coming here and will definitely be back! Cute little spot for a delicious brunch, I had the Croque Madame and my husband had the 125 Breakfast Club and we were both delighted with our meals. Would highly recommend!
They need to change their hours tried going there on a Monday and it was closed
This place is in na really nice location and its very cozy inside with a wonderful decor that makes you feel right at home. The service was fast and the server was very kind and helpful. The food is where this place shines! I got the royal eggs which is smoked salmon eggs benedict and i dare say the best eggs bene Ive ever had. They were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise was so rich and creamy! The egg muffin on the bottom was unbelievably crisp the flavors were great. Will definitely be coming back
A cozy and delicious little local breakfast cafe - THEIR POTATOE WAFFLES ARE TO DIE FOR
Good coffee, great portions. Service was terrific. Very friendly server.
Very tasty food and quick service but on the day I was there,a very stuffy and humid atmosphere in the establishment i found it quite uncomfortable..
Amazing food! We had the Belgian Waffle, 125 breakfast club, bacon & eggs and omelette. The service is slow. Need to have some patience while ordering! Food
Cute little place in Orillia. Expensive breakfast . Little too much for my liking. Food
I have been a cook in over 25 different restaurants and often find it very hard to find a good place to eat that leaves me satisfied. 125 breakfast club is the best breakfast restaurant I have ever had the joy of eating at. The only thing better than the warm inviting atmosphere the staff and establishment provide is the food. I have had almost every dish on the menu, and each one has its own unique taste. The one I ordered this time was the black stone; eggs Benedict with tomato and bacon. Everything was done to perfection. From the perfectly toasted English muffin, the slightly crispy bacon, the perfectly poached egg all the way to the hollandaise sauce that is to die for. They usually side with their signature potato waffle and fresh fruit, which both compliment the Benedict perfectly. If you go out for breakfast, you have to try this place!
We love coming to this place with our friends on weekends. The food is almost always great and fresh (except for the whipped cream waffle i once ordered-the whipped cream was completely liquid and spoiled the whole plate, and I never tried it again). The service is lovely and very friendly but very slow and its always one person taking care of all the tables. The worst thing that we always suffer from and makes us reconsider our breakfast spot is the air quality! The place has zero air circulation and youre running out of oxygen. I really urge you to fix that, add a vent or a fan or a window somewhere to help.. not sure if its even healthy for people who work there all day long!
If you re ever in Orillia, this place is a must visit for breakfast/brunch. The food was excellent!! We had the Luxurious Lobster Benedict and the Croque Madame. The Croque Madame was perfectly done with a precise balance of flavours; whereas the Benedict had THE BEST hollandaise sauce I d ever had. If you re driving up north, this place is worth being bookmarked as stop for the first half of the day.
Try this place. Any time were in the area this is the spot!
Our favorite breakfast restaurant! The mushroom crepes are amazing. Love the potato waffle. The eggs benny are amazing. Highly recommend this cozy little spot!!
Fast friendly service. The side potato waffle is super yummy. My spouse had the Eggs Benny and I ve never seen him eat so fast - he loved it. They even make a cute stacked rainbow waffle perfect for the little ones.
Eggs Benedict seems to be the specialty and they are excellent. The eggs are poached perfectly with a creamy soft yoke and whites are smooth. The sauce is flavourful but not overwhelming. The potato waffle was a surprise and really tasty.
Best breakfast Ive had anywhere in my 71 years. Fresh and tasty! Intimate atmosphere, not loud and clangy. Wonderful all around!
Went to this place earlier today and the service was terrible! Stood at the door with my fiancé for 15 minutes waiting for the server to even speak to us. This older lady was walking around and saw us but for some reason refused to speak to us. She looked at us multiple times but never even greeted us. Another couple even pointed it out to her and she looked at us confused even though she saw us the whole time. They eventually left as they too were waiting for a long time and we followed them out the door. Never coming here again!
My wife and I spent the night over in Orillia for the first time and then had breakfast at this amazing place. Owner-operator live in motion in the most pleasant way, courteous, and delicious fresh food. Excellent price and atmosphere. Parking: Parking across the street free on Sundays and holidays. Otherwise reasonably priced
Great little breakfast place. The server was so friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. I ordered the Princess Benedict, the veggies were nicely sautéed and the egg was soft poached perfection.... the potato waffle was a great alternative to boring hash browns and the side of fruit satiated my sweet tooth. Great Job 125 Breakfast Club...I will definitely be back to try something else!! Parking: Paid parking lot directly across the street and it was only $2 for like an hour and a half.
Prices are good. Food and service was great.
this place is so cozy and the food is delicious!!
Yummy!
Absolutely amazing food, service, atmosphere. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Fantastic job girls! Try the lobster Benny!
I tried unicorn pancakes. It was amazing. So cute and delicious. The service was fast and the girl so cute
I can t stop raving about the food If you are even passing by orillia this is a must stop for breakfast. The best eggs Benedict but also some of the nicest people working here. Food : 5/5
The croque madame is divine, and their little potato waffles are a delight! Highly recommend!
We drove up from Whitby, very easy to get to, great food, excellent holindase on the eggs Benedict, really liked the crepes for dessert, reasonable prices, nice staff, will go again
The food was better than I was expecting. Price was great. I d definitely go back.
Really good breakfast lots of fresh fruit comes with it and the potato waffles are excellent
Visited for the first time Friday morning. Loved it! My buddy had the eggs benny with real hollandaise. Delicious. My breakfast saugage was lightly herbed and cooked perfectly, as were the eggs. Both meals accompanied by a potato waffle with sour cream, as well as generous wedges of pineapple and watermelon a strawberry, grapefruit, orange and kiwi. Good price for such a fab breakfast. Lovely waitress, very attentive. Nice warm atmosphere. Will be back. Parking: paid street parking plus a lot across the street
Great service and vibes. 3 stars for their actual breakfast and coffee, if you re going to serve bad diner coffee you can t expect people to pay 25$ for breakfast
Ive been eyeing this lil gem of a restaurant up since I woke up one day and googled waffles near me. Today I had the opportunity to hit it up right around opening hours. Right away walking in, there were only a couple of tables left. There was one woman (chef) running the show. She had a beautiful smile and a warm greet as I walked through the doors. I sat down had a coffee, and my food followed shortly after. To my hopes, it tastes as good as it looks (if not better). Server came into shift shortly into my meal, but for what I observed, that didnt stop the woman from serving out all the tables with eye catching, mouth watering dishes. The restaurant is tight but cozy. A hidden gem for sure. Atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. If you want to talk prices, I think she should raise them. I will be back for the eggs benny! ... and everything else on that beautiful menu Kid-friendliness: High-chair available
Our breakfast today was delicious! This is officially our new breakfast spot
Love it!!! Very cozy place
Great prices and exceptional service, highly recommend this restaurant. All food was fresh and delicious. Nothing deep fried tasted phenomenal and portion was more than satisfying! Will definitely come back next visit to Orillia!
Best breakfast Ive had in a long time
I once had a 10star breakfast at a world-renown hotel. Decades of 2,3,4 stars, occassionally a 5. 125 BC is a 10 at the price of a 3+.
Amazing food, ambiance and service, this is now my #1 breakfast spot in Orillia!!
Brought the wife and daughter there for breakfast, definitely enjoyed the experience. Service was great, food was excellent with great presentation, and although a bit smaller, the atmosphere was nice and felt clean. Would definitely recommend. Kid-friendliness: High chair was available, and they did accomodate for a child size meal despite not having a kids menu. However, there is no change table in the spacious bathroom. Wouldnt say thats a deal breaker though!
A pleasant atmosphere for family breakfast, the children were delighted and so was I, its delicious
If you love seafood, you MUST try their lobster eggs benedict. I ve had unique eggs benedict creations all over North America and this was the ABSOLUTE BEST tasting one by far. Eggs poached perfectly, the hollandaise sauce was light but flavourful, and the lobster pieces were good sized and delicious. Even better than the version I had in Halifax! My boyfriend had the omelette and said it was delicious as well. He especially liked the potato waffles! We definitely will return to this hidden gem!
Definitely exceeded expectations. Very quaint. Much care put into presentation of dishes.
I went there for brunch with a friend. We were seen very quickly and had our drink order taken immediately. I went with the mushroom crepe and I loved it. Overall it was filling without sitting heavy. Im happy to go back sometime soon. Kid-friendliness: A kid with.. refined tastes would have no problem here.
Great food & service! I love this spot
Delightful food and great atmosphere.
Absolutely amazing food and service, 100% recommend and will be returning!
Amazing breakfast. First time here and my wife and I are going to make this our morning date location. Thank you
Amazing atmosphere and service. The food was wholesome and delicious. Good variety and a bit different from your typical eggs and bacon which I loved. Highly recommend! I will be back for sure!
Second time here and it does not disappoint. The Benedict is amazing but what was even better was the 125 breakfast croissant delicious. Then we ordered a banana crepe that is even more delicious which seems to be near to impossible to get this good. It has this taste of flames and I m positive you will not regret unless you don t like bananas.
Excellent atmosphere, prices reasonable, some staff are friendly, others not so much. Been there several times and enjoyed it but today we walked out because they were rude.
This is such a quaint and lovely little breakfast spot. There are a few seats inside and then also a patio out back on nice days. The food is absolutely incredible! Wed never had potato waffles before and we definitely need more of those in our life after this experience. Everything was delicious and fresh and our server was super nice. 10/10 would brunch again!
Wish we could have eaten here. Arrived at the restaurant and were told to come back in 10-15 minutes. We offered to leave our name but the waitress said she d remember us we came back and watched multiple parties get seated before us. Horrible communication between staff which led to us abandoning the whole thing and moving on to another restaurant. Brutal experience, standing in the rain watching the staff completely ignore us.
Got the EGGS ROYAL Benedict and the Luxurious lobster Benedict and they were both delicious! I also loved their fresh orange juice! I would definitely recommend!
The food was awesome..but service kind of slow..for a small place like that
Dee-lish! Great service, awesome food, cozy atmosphere
Very expensive but very good food
Wish the serving size was a bit bigger as I wasnt full but satisfied over all.
Great breakfast spot. The Croque Madame was delicious.
Great breakfast! Bright, cheery atmosphere and amazing food.
Great joint, homemade fresh food. Great service.
Very good food and excellent service. Might make it our weekly breakfast spot!
Cute little joint in a cute part of Orillia. Great vibe. Lots of lush plant life. Eclectic tasteful art. All wood tables, booths and a nice long bench. Friendly service. Classy menu. Everything from standard breakfast options to a bourgeoisie lobster Benedict! Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing, such good food. Eggs were spot on, and the sides were all so fresh and yummy. Must go breakfast spot
Great stopover in Orillia! Delicious food and warm atmosphere!
We were in Orillia two nights and came here twice. I got the Wild Mushroom Crepe with havarti and the Eggs Royale, both were SO good and flavourful. My boyfriend got the Bacon and Eggs both times. We both really loved the fresh fruit and potato waffles - a GENIUS creation by the way. Servers were also nice and attentive. Will come back here next time we re in Orillia.
Fantastic!! Service with 1 minute of seating. Ordered within 3 minutes of browsing menu. Food within 8 minutes of ordering. Fresh squeezed orange juice ($5)- I had eggs Benedict w tomato and bacon. The tomato was an heirloom back tomato that had a homegrown flavour. Thick cut, crispy bacon and perfectly poached eggs with THE BEST HOLLANDAISE sauce. Hubby had peameal w eggs and rye toast. Coffee is tasty. Will definitely come back!
lovely little spot with amazing food and nice servers
My husband and I stumbled upon this spot while in Orillia for a pediatrician appointment. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They have a few vegan options which is key for me since I have a dairy intolerance. The service was friendly and very on top of things. It is a very small place but worth the visit. We will be back :)
This place is a gem. So much better than the touristy overpriced Mariposa market just up the road. Took my mom a couple of months ago and she has been talking about the Bananas Foster Crepe so incessantly that I had to bring her back. I had the Wild Mushroom Crepe last time and this time the Croque Madame, pic . The food is outstanding. I know.....Orillia!!! Walk directly pass the throngs of tourists just up the street and eat here.
Love the potato waffles
Great breakfast place in Orrilia
A little unassuming place with great service and great food. Highly recommend for breakfast.
Lovely place, came here for breakfast everyday while visiting Orillia.
This is pretty much the best breakfast I have had in a while. The food and service was perfect. The fruit was fresh and perfectly prepared and plated. The take on hash browns was not heavy and weighted (as most usually are) but a light potato waffle. The eggs were perfectly cooked to my liking, the coffee was a nice surprise ( no burnt taste here) and the bacon was delicious. The service was polite and friendly and over all the meal was filling, but didnt leave me feeling like Id eaten a stones weight. A perfect place to stop for breakfast. I will return here.
Still one of our favorite breakfast places (although it looks like more people are early risers now )
My husband and I were visiting our son and his family this week. We have never been in downtown Orillia and enjoyed exploring the area. What a find this restaurant is! There is a variety of menu items and the ones we chose were delicious. The Eggs Benedict I chose were the absolute best I have ever had! The wait staff are lovely. The only caveat is there is limited seating so make a reservation or time your visit between the early crowd and the next favourite time.
Amazing breakfast! High quality and great service!
Had breakfast here with a party of 8 Saturday and were not disappointed. Menu was concise but full of variety. Food was delicious, fresh, and service was timely - everything you could ask for in a good breakfast spot. The real hits were the Unicorn pancakes that my niece enjoyed - definitely a kid favourite. Other tasty inclusions were the croque Madame, BYO omelette, and specialty potato waffle.
Great smoked salmon Benedict and croque madame with potato waffles
Visited here with my partner and I have to say it is a sweet spot to grab some breakfast or brunch. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Orillia and are looking for good food.
First time here we love the crappie
Very cute and cozy brunch place. Food here is very tasty. Order the salmon egg Benedict and the mushroom crepe, they all came with some fruits and waffles on the side. The waffle is made by potato which is very new and different for me
Wanted to get away from the city a little, and was looking for a breakfast place. Found this little gem. What a cozy place, the perfect kind of place for breakfast. The food and service was absolutely amazing! Wish this place was a bit closer to home so I could try some other dishes. They had this potato waffle which was also delicious Don t think twice, eat here!
Delicious! An elevated breakfast experience. Cute restaurant, friendly server, quick service and most importantly very tasty food! Signature potato waffle and fresh fruit served with breakfast. I had the Wild Mushroom Crepe and my husband had the 125 Breakfast Club Sandwich, which of course I stole a bite or 2 out of, both were so good! Probably the best breakfast that isnt a traditional eggs and bacon breaky. They also have eggs benedict options which is hard to come by, havent tried that yet though.
Lovely server, coffee was 3.50 for a normal brewed black coffee and i did not have a refill. I ordered classic eggs Benny. Hollandaise sauce was good and I liked the potatoe pancake and fruit on the side. Pemeal bacon was thin but tasty. All in all, $23 for breakfast is not in my budget.
As advertised and reviewed. Great food, service, and atmosphere - some unique options to choose from. We had the classic Eggs Benedict and 125 Breakfast Club. The potato waffles were also good. Food : 5/5
It s a nice little spot with good food and friendly staff.
Good food; very tasty. Four stars because the serving size went a bit down over COVID and prices went up. But the menu options are very nice; very unique choices.
Just showed up for my anticipated breakfast the morning of my birthday while in town to our disappointment of it being closed. Please update your hours of operation.
The food is fantastic and love coming here with my friend! Omelettes are amazing and the potato waffle is delicious! Highly recommend! Food
Sumptuous breakfast.
Amazing food! Loved being able to dine in again! Great service as well. Lots of food for the dollar value!
I tried the croque madame, and it was awesome. The potatoe waffle was a nice change from home fries. Also, the banana foster crepe is worth the splurge
Eggs Benedict and hash brown waffle was amazing!
Took my gf here for breakfast, one of the best breakfast spots I ve been to! Strongly recommend any of the eggs Benedict
Great food. Cute little family run business highly recommend. Keep up the good work
Cozy feeling. Great breakfast. Waffles were the highlight for me
Lovely little place that serves a curated menu of breakfast options. The croque madame and wild mushroom crepe are delightful and the basic bacon and eggs do not disappoint.
Great local spot. A favorite for my husband and I. Go, you will not regret it. Sit and enjoy.. no need to rush. Unless someone else is waiting... then be polite
Excellent food, great service, wonderful staff. Prices a little high, but sometimes you get what you pay for!
Classic eggs benedict were phenomenal!! The unicorn pancakes were adorable and my daughter says they were delicious!!!
Really great breakfast spot! A little pricey, but a really great place to go for a treat. The eggs Benny are always good and the hashbrown waffles are amazing. Great atmosphere and cool spot. Def recommend!
I liked it when I first went but now that they have more customers they seem to be getting sloppy. Very slow service and I ordered bacon and eggs with the bacon very crispy and got it raw. I asked them to cook the bacon again and they took it but still the bacon was way under done. I don t think I will be going back. To add to this I noticed that a lot of other people (though not all) loved their food which makes me wonder if because they seem to have more customers now they feel they don t need the ones they had before the pandemic. That s a horrible way to treat those who supported you in the beginning.
Roberta Ewing , your review is an offensive bunch of lies. The regulars there are treated like gold. Your clearly not one of them making a review like this . Grow up
Great food. Great service.
The potato waffles- yum!
simple menu, very straight forward
Amazing breakfast! Great Coffee. The staff are excellent. New fav breakfast place.
This place is one of the best in town or perhaps Ontario ..the owner really actually gives a fk unlike most in Orillia. Actually.. the best breakfast Ive ever been served and breakfast places Ive ever eaten. I hold decent standards, but Im very picky with breakfast. Only breakfast place Ive ever been to I couldnt complain about anything, and did exactly the opposite, left happy and satisfied everytime.
Food was was ok. Pretty expensive for a breakfast place. 5.00 orange juice was the size of a kids juice box. My wifes eggs were under cooked. Customer service was good.
Lovely breakfast spot that was worth the wait. Small dine-in area with a back patio coming soon. Everyone was accommodating and friendly despite a busy Sunday morning. The wild mushroom crepes and potato waffles were delicious!
Lobster Benedict and Crepe Croisette was to die for
Great food in a unique environment
Service was extremely slow. Very unprofessional restaurant. Seems like a family run restaurant that can t handle too many orders at once. Didn t get our order correct. Not worth correcting it. Staff very unprofessionally dressed. Sloppy. Cooks were eating while cooking. Wouldn t return!
Good place for breakfast. Friendly staff. Decent interior. We had a good time.
cute little breakfast spot! food tasted great, quick service
Wonderful family atmosphere with the best brunch food in Orillia and beutiful art on the walls. I met a friend looking forward to getting out again after two years of isolation and my expectations were exceded. We both had the mushroom crepes, the plate came with the most delicious potaoe and cheese waffles and an assortment of fresh fruit on the side a classy touch. I will definitely be back.
Great breakfast to start our day a month ago. Able to watch the crew in the kitchen, which is comforting. Quaint spot, everything made to order. Would definitely go back.
Great little breakfast joint. Its not fancy, its not complicated but just simple breakfast favourites that we all love. Service is friendly, prices are fair and the space is quaint. Family friendly. Will be back.
Waffle was great!
Hours/days need updated. I showed up to a dark restaurant when their website claimed they were open.
Great food! the classic eggs benidict was amazing.
Food and service were great!
Had a great breakfast here. I had the mushroom crepe and my husband had the Classic Eggs Benedict. He said the coffee was good. Highly recommend this spot.
this place was not good, first off, we walk in and it smells so horrible of either old dish water or smoke. i dont know what it was but it made our clothes and us smell so bad and made it hard to breathe. we ignored it ans tried to move past that and was just caught by the horrid heat, this place has zero fresh air flow going through it and it didnt help the smell. Also the cooks. the cooks and waiter were HORRIBLE. we always try to be understanding of problems in the restaurants but the waiter had zero idea what was going on and when we asked he said he had been working there for a while. The cook was just using his hands to scoop berries and no utensils or gloves were used. down right horrible. the prices were a lot for the portions and the worst of all was the wait. we were waiting there for 30 mins and not once were we updated on our food or anything, we asked what is going on and we were informed that something disappeared. we have absolutely no idea what that means. please do not go here. these people should be closed down.
Oh wowww, loved this little Gem. Food on plates made to look so very pretty. Taste as beautiful and yummy as it looks.
Cute little restaurant in downtown Orillia. Food was really good, but loses one star for customer service; didn t feel like we were welcomed there especially after waitress warmly chatted up other newcomers sitting next to us, then few mins later came to us with a solemn look.
It was a hot day outside but even hotter inside but was awesome my son had unicorn pancakes and looked great nice touch...
Parking: Free street parking on Sunday
We never got to find out what the food tasted like, and Im okay with that! Went to this restaurant and while waiting in line for a table we had a full view of the exposed kitchen - at least 4 staff wiped their sweaty foreheads and continued to touch food without washing their hands.
Absolutely loved it! Food was amazing we had to come the next day, definitely worth the price for the quality of food you get!! Very impressive!! Customer service is excellent!! I would highly recommend this place! :)
Fantastic breakfast spot in downtown orillia
Relatively good place! I enjoyed my food, my partner wasnt as much of a fan as i was unfortunately but good environment & pretty quick service.
We sat down at 10am, got our order taken at 10:15 and food arrived at 11:05...and all we ordered was bacon and egg and Eggs Benny. The restaurant wasnt super busy and those that came after me got their food before us (eggs Benny and all). The servers were very inattentive to us as well. We got our coffees at 10:05 and not once were offered refills while others were getting refills. The AC was not working and there were flies in the restaurant. When the food finally arrived, it looked really good, but didnt taste anything different because its breakfast! It usually taste the same everywhere and takes 10 mins to prepare. Has amazing lobster and salmon bennys on the sidewalk in beautiful downtown Orillia. Probably the best benny anywhere!!
Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff and locals. Learned about Unicorn pancakes - if you have kids its a must order. Had the crepes and eggs benedict - both perfect. Standard eggs and bacon are also on the menu. Coffee is great. If in Orillia and seeking breakfast or brunch...this is the place.
Best breakfast in Orillia! The potato waffle thingy with creme fresh is Amazing, but the entire meal was great! Price after tip was 18$, which isnt exactly the 8.99 blue plate special, but it was worth every penny..
It was very humid and hot inside. There were unfortunately also a huge number of flies that were going around and bothering everyone, making the whole experience even worse. To top it all off, it took nearly 40 minutes for us to be served our breakfast, though that may have been explained as they seemed very busy. I dont feel as though the time we waited could be seen as a bad thing as the food arrived very hot and tasted decent. The atmosphere is really what ruined it for us. Specially the flies!!!
Great food, but not for milk. Milk does not worth its price. Small space, have to wait for a long time
Slow service. Food portions were small albeit tasty. Atmosphere was good. A little pricey for what I got.
A fantastic breakfast for a solid price. Good coffee, friendly waiting staff, very cute restaurant. Took a while to get seated, and was hot with lots of flies inside (windows and doors were wide open so hard to complain about that), but portions and food were good. Bacon could ve used more time on the grill, but coffee and potato patty were great.
great food! coffee was excellent and the people running it were fantastic!
Amazing coffee and great service! Omelettes were loaded with toppings and pancakes were so delicious! Fresh fruit is such a great touch too! We will definitely be back!
The food portions were good my husband loved his food However, I did not see the cook wash her hands one time after touching many different foods ie/ raw eggs to a pre-made waffles, or peamale bacon to fruit. Eating while cooking costumers food.
Best eggs Benny I ve had in a while. This little place has a warm and friendly atmosphere with front and back of building seating. The potato waffles were a nice touch instead of hash browns and they kept the coffee flowing. We ll definitely be returning!
Great food. Great service. Great experience. Its surprising how many places manage to get breakfast/brunch staples wrong. This is not one of them! We were a party of 7 and every one of us loved what we ordered. Everything, from the Crepe Suzette to the bacon and eggs to the Croque Madame, was perfect. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully, and the kids loved their blueberry smoothies. Great friendly service as well. Highly recommended!
Super friendly. Fresh and delicious Vegetarian options: Vegan options
Dietary restrictions: Lots of tasty gluten free options
Excellent breakfast - one of the best we ever had. Great friendly service. Very friendly patrons and staff.
We went to cottage in Orillia and decided to have a breakfast. We were unsure at the moment but OMG the food was divine and service was top class.
Delicious vegan waffle. Absolutely delicious potato waffle. Hollandaise sauce was delicious.and Ginger was an amazing server!
Lovely spot. Great food and nice staff
Amazing food, Great service!
Great service and food.
Awsome everything! Left very happytight
Insanely overpriced with poor service. I came here for eggs bene and was given DROPS of hollandaise sauce on my eggs making it so dry with absolutely no flavour. The servers were all huddled at the counter and took 15 minutes to give me a coffee?? I don t mind paying so much for it when it s good. I understand cutting food cost but giving a quarter of a strawberry and a melon as your only fruit is ridiculous. Oh and let s hype up the waffle potato that is literally the size of my pinky.
SO good!!! A bit fancy but not expensive. Will return!!
Such great food and service! Worth the drive to Orillia
Went here for the first time today and really enjoyed it! Cozy little spot, good service, tasty food. I had never had a potato waffle before and I really liked it! The breakfast sandwich was definitely a good choice.
Try the potato patties, AMAZING!
Dry nice little nook in the heart of Orillia Downtown corridor. I had the morning omelet with every vegetable and cheddar cheese. I wasn t disappointed! Everything is hand made and hand cooked almost right in front of you! The staff are nice, talkative and very caring! If you re looking for a nice quick and simple breakfast that is very reasonably priced and great value for your , give this a visit! I guarantee you won t be disappointed!
I have never walked out of a restaurant for bad service. We waited 20 mins to order and waited another hour for food before getting up to leave. We were told there was only one person in the kitchen and there was a mix up with the computer system. All the other tables around us (6 tables in the restaurant in total) were served even though we were told our food was on the grill. Our server also came by to double check our order 40 mins into our wait and had it wrong. He gave us a couple pieces of fruit and were told we would get a discount and that was all we can do. We were very patient, but come on! I can t tell you about the food, but I can tell you the service was horrible. Also, the washroom was dirty and there were flies everywhere. I should also say it was 1pm on a Sunday, which is supposed to be their down time.
Steer clear of this place...We went there, seated and ordered. I ordered one order Bacon and eggs, bacon crispy, eggs over medium. My hubby ordered the Croque Madam which we assured would be great. After almost 30 minutes two plates came. Both were bacon and eggs, bacon was barely cooked. We advised the staff and where was the Croque Madam? They kept saying 2 more minutes (10 went by) my order came back bacon alitte better but bread was cold and not toasted and my eggs were over easy. Again, lady came over said sorry just 2 more minutes for the Croque (10 more went by). We waited and nothing. So...we got up and promptly left. One hour is outrageous. If you cant make it dont put it on the menu.
Amazing place just dont go here when your in a rush its more of a sit down with your family for an hour and enjoy amazing food and conversation.
Amazing. Everything! The food (to die for) , the welcoming energy... Super refreshing during crazy times. Wish I found it sooner
amazing breakfast, great staff cant believe this gem
Princess Florentine A bit pricey, but man.. its good food! Friendly service, cute little space in an absolutely charming little town
Amazing
Visited today with my better half for breakfast. Arrived around 0930AM and the small, well decorated dining area (about 6 tables) was already full. After providing proof of vaccination to our server, we were seated at a small table near the counter. Our server, Brendan came right over with hot, delicious coffee and a couple menus (picture included). We ordered Princess Eggs Florentine and A Banana Belgian Waffle with a side of bacon to share. Our food was served within 20 minutes (busy restaurant at this time), and came out aesthetically pleasing and was as flavourful as one might imagine. Everything was hot and fresh. The portion sizes were terrific. We appreciate having such a fun place with great food within 20 minutes of home. We would absolutely return. **Located on the same side of Mississauga Street as Mariposa Market a bit closer to Front Street.
Gem of a place for a balanced, fresh breakfast with some great vegan options! Stopped by on our way to Muskoka and it was a delight - wild mushroom crepe was yumm, house coffee was freshly brewed and refreshing. Staff was very accommodating- we took a window table looking over the street on a lazy Sunday morning. While the food & ambience was amazing, taking off a star only for speed of delivery and relatively higher pricing - breakfast for 2 with coffee costed about $50 and took 30+ minutes to serve.
One of the best places to get Eggs Benny in town! Not to mention their potato pancakes are AMAZING
Good food, long wait times and stretched staff
Food was decent enough, atmosphere nice, but the prices are on the higher side, which is acceptable with great service. We did not even have good service. We waited almost 45 mins for a simple breakfast with just a few patrons seated. I did not get offered any assistance or coffee refill after the food finally came out. Wont be returning - service and prices are a turn off.
We both had the one twenty five club, and if you are unsure about ordering it, do it! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere is great as well. Little treasure of orillia
Wonderful food, friendly staff.
Cute little tiny place. Amazing food Superb service. One place Ill always always remember We are a family of 7, all of us Loved everything
Best brunch/breakfast you will ever have! You have to stop here if youre in the area, the food is absolutely phenomenal!
