You wouldnt know it to look at it, but this restaurant has some of the best Korean food Ive ever had. Every thing Ive eaten on the Korean half of the menu has been excellent. I highly reccomend the kimchi, if youre lucky enough to get it when theyre getting close to bottom of the batch when its super saturated with flavour its among the best kimchi Ive ever eaten.

Great small dinner in a nice spot. Moose Beach and Tudhope Park are two minutes away. Stopped for lunch and had a beer there many a day. Great for the Bayview Inn up the road too and for people doing Laundry at Atherley Plaza 30 seconds away. Spend the day wandering the Narrows and then pop back by for dinner. I always get their grilled cheeses. Theyre fast too!

We tried it for the first time recently. Mostly from the reviews of good Korean food and friendly atmosphere. The service could be a bit more friendly but the food did not disappoint. Spot on and delicious!

Absolutely love this restaurant, my children love it the food is delicious and the people who run it are so sweet and showed my son how to eat Ramen and he Absolutely adores it there, I also love the plants I love plants haha! One of my families favorite go to places.

Best Korean Restaurant that I ve been too. The staff were amazing, and they make authentic Korean food in the kitchen. Homemade Kim Chi, and everything else. Delicious!

My fiance and I stopped here because we were craving home-cooked Korean food and we were NOT disappointed! This little mom-and-pop shop was everything and more. It s cute and nothing fancy but you can tell they put their heart and soul into their food! They clearly serve north-american food for the locals but the Korean traditional meals are beyond amazing and should be the star! We had traditional Pork Bone Soup and Korean Fried chicken for breakfast - and the flavour were devine, it came out piping hot (very important) and we ate every bite! We will be coming back here without a doubt! The price and the value are unmatched Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free options on the menu and vegetarian ones Parking: Small lot but lots of free street parking if not!

I ve driven by this place so many times and never stopped in . What a mistake that was! They serve the absolute best Korean food packed with so much flavor! This will definitely be my go to place from now on. Not only Is the food amazing but the owners are beautiful people and truly put their heart into the food they serve. You have to eat here!

The food was horrible eggs under cooked sausages tasted very weird lol Very small amount for the price we paid only thing I ate off my hole plate was the home fries and toast. I ordered chocolate milk and it tasted like white milk with a bit of chocolate sauce in it very disappointed and won t be returning Food

This is the only restaurant in Orillia, that serves traditional Korean food and its amazing! You must try their hot Korean stews/soups/broth-based dishes served in stone bowls and in the Summer, their naengmyeon (cold noodle dish) is a hit. Their Canadian food was also great, with large portions. The owners are very friendly and the customer service is also 5 stars. Highly recommend this place!

Server was friendly but started sanitizing tables beside us with some horrible chemical spray while we were eating breakfast. Coffee was weak..eggs not done properly , toast was thinly spread with.. margarine? and the 3 very ultra thin slices of bacon tasted off . I ate what I could because we were enroute and on schedule..but I regret not sending it back . I dont know about the rest of their menu which looks to be a lot of Korean fare...but do NOT eat breakfast there!

Thought it was a breakfast place but wasnt. But they did serve breakfast , Was typical eggs, toast, bacon and a few, I mean a few home fries. Good service and fast prolly better Korean food though. Wish I had of known the area to go somewhere else.

This place doesnt look like much from the outside, but it is worth a visit. The staff are friendly and take good care of you. The breakfast was delicious. Would love to come back and try the Korean dishes.

The Diner is quaint and nice, the staff are attentive and friendly. The plants across the diner are a nice touch. You can tell someone takes the time to care for them. I wish I was feeling better that day, I would have tried a Korean dish. I tasted the dumplings, and the flavor was great. All day breakfast is available. We had the fish and chips and all was homemade aside from the tartar. It really is a shame as its so easy to make & you have it all in house (mayo-relish-lemon-salt). I got 1 of those jam sized tartar sauces, its not awful but its not great. It brings the dish down. I will go back and I will try the Korean food next time.

The Korean food is really great. I ate here yesterday and came back today, it s that good. Try the bulgogi if you aren t sure of the cuisine, you won t regret it.

Great food with lots of flavour, so glad to find authentic Korean food in Orillia! Portions are on the smaller side though, considering the price point (we all needed more rice with our mains) but the warm service and decor makes you feel right at home.

A nice dinett with variety of menus. We had a breakfast and a Korean dish. They both taste good. Dont expect a fancy decor and service yet they are ok.

This diner is unassuming from the outside but do not be deceived by its looks. They served authentic Korean food which were really delicious!! We had jachae, bulgogi and kimchi. So so good! The lady who served and perhaps is also the owner of the place is also very sweet. She was also very honest when she realised that the bill calculated was higher, she quickly corrected herself and gave the money back. Support local.

The food is AMAZING. We got the boneless chicken and the japchae Noodle. Both so much flavour. Highly recommend

Great Korean food friendly helpful staff

Hmmmm....Im not sure quite yet how to rate this place. We went in for breakfast and found ourselves seated in a Korean restaurant (please note the name of this place). Anyway, we didnt order breaky. We had a burger, and their soup and a stir fry. Everything was really, really good. The Kim-chee (did I spell that right) was awesome (yeah, I took an order home). The guy beside us recommended the eggs bennys (seriously). Anyway....seating was weird - thanks COVID. But the hosts were very gracious and polite. Im going back. Seeya there! Update: If you find yourself driving by this place and have never tried kimchee, do yourself a favour and stop in. Spicy, fermented, sour and crunchy. Its the best Ive ever had, and I get a to-go order often. When things get sorted out, I will be a regular. Please support these folks, their hard work and dedication needs to pay off so theyre there when it does end. Five stars from me!

Stopped for supper. Expected a mom and pop style dinner. Surprised by Korean restaurant and regular dinner items. Never had Korean before. Was amazing. I had Bulgogif (kinda beef stir fry that came out sizzling) first pic and GF had Japchae Noodler (beef and see through noodles with veggies) Both super tasty and not spicy. Would stop again

No idea how this place is 4.4 stars. Went with family of 4 this morning. Potatoes not cooked right...half cooked french toast...omelette half cooked...tea cold..asian waitress takes half orders and walks away. Not very attentive. One of the worst places I have ever been in my life. All 4 of us were not happy.

Accidentally stumbled upon this place while driving through and the bibimbap was AMAZING! Now I Have to stop and get it every time I drive by for life . Good thing I live 6hrs away, It s that good. Never drive past.

Long wait for pick up. The clubhouse sandwich had wayyyy to much mayonnaise on it. All the lettuce was white. We asked for kimchi pancakes and never received them. Will go elsewhere next time.

I always get a bad vibe when I walk into a place and see one server working (who I assumed was also on kitchen duty, given the glacial pace of service). Red flag #2 was raised when I looked at the menu and saw half a million items. Is this a diner or a Korean spot? Pick one and do it well. Waited at a table for 20 minutes without being acknowledged until me and my family decided to leave. Hire more servers! At least we got to wait around in a cool looking spot even if we didn t eat at one.

Excellent Korean food. Very fresh, very homey. Easy bicycle distance ( or even walking) from Tudhope Park. We were there for Mariposa and spotted it on the way. It was a surprise that it served Korean food, given the name, although it also serves standard Canadian fare. One customer gave a great review for the burgers, but we stuck with their specialty. I don t think they re licensed, which was OK by us.

Wow, this is one of the nicest places i ve EVER been to! was road tripping with my sister to go camping and we wanted to eat a nice filling meal before we got there. Stopped by this beautiful little place and i was just blown away! the place is absolutely filled with the most beautiful healthiest plants. Adorable decor and positive messages everywhere. It was scrupulously clean in here, the food was ASTOUNDING and it was so cheap!!! our waitress / front of house was the nicest woman i ve ever met. She was so accommodating to every customer here, i overheard every table compliment her speedy service skills. Would definitely come again, and im going to eat here every time i come camping! if i could give 10 stars i would.

It was long wait for 15 homefries and no bacon! Watered down coffee..i went based on the reviews and was very disappointed the one working hardest was the one waitress they had serving 7 tables I hope she gets her full tip out.

I m so sorry but was not a good place. Was very dirty with cob webs on pictures on walls next to tables. Overly cluttered sitting area and arrived in disappointment after pictures looked good. We did not get as far as ordering after seated. We walked out. Could not stomach eating here. So Sorry. Please declutter and clean. My family and I stopped here for dinner, My immediate reaction when we walk inside was way too many plants all over the place and way too cluttered with just stuff. It did not even look like a restaurant inside because of how many plants and clutter there was, I felt like I was at a plant/garden store. The table behind where we were sitting had multiple plants on it. We all looked at the menu and I ordered a club sandwich with fries. I did not like the taste of my food, it tasted off and my kids felt that way with their food also. After spending over $100 for five people I do not believe we will return. I definitely think they need declutter their restaurant.

I was so surprised to find this diner serves Korean food! My bibimbap was very good and my significant other had an omelette which he enjoyed. We both got coffee which included prompt refills. Im not sure if they make their own kimchi but I will be buying some to take home next time! Parking: There is a small lot designated for the restaurant and a reptile shop right next door. Im not sure if the shop next door would mind overflow, but I would say there is enough room for a half a dozen cars without taking up their side. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.

The Atherley Diner is a lovely restaurant. Our group of five went there for breakfast. Our first impression was how clean it was, and we were delighted to see all the fresh plants. Our server, who seemed to be an owner, was very friendly, and efficient. Al of us were happy with our meals, and the coffee was fresh and good. We will definitely go back when in the area.

Best korean food and white breakfast

Nice little diner. I love all of the plants in the store. Coffee mugs are a nice step up from the general small coffee sizes you get elsewhere. The food was good and the service was fast. Prices were reasonable as well.

Korean food . Got soup and a noodle dish. There was 3 tiny pieces of beef with the noodles which were very gooey. The soup was mr.noodles. It also came with a minute amount of chicken which I paid extra money for. The only thing Korean was the kimchi that came with it. Very disappointing

This little gem of a restaurant offers traditional diner food like burgers and fish & chips. We stopped for lunch when saw their offer of burger & fries for $8.99. The food was fantastic, steakhouse quality handmade patty on a brioche bun and fresh cut fries. Highly recommend. An extra nod for this place is they also have about dozen Korean dishes on the menu. We have not tried them yet but expect they will be of the same high quality as the burgers.

Ginger tea on the side...what a great little spot. Come and spend your cash here and support these cultural gems Orillia. Stop eating at Franchises and get some Ramen and Kimchi!!

We ve been there many times for breakfast and it is always fast, friendly and super delicious. We live nearby and today noticed that they had some tables outside... open for business and hopefully getting some traffic in these tough times. Went for their Korean dishes this evening for dinner. Beef Bulgogi, Stir fry Chicken and Veg with noodles, Kimchi - all amazing, fresh and totally delicious. Going again for take out soon! Definitely recommend. Everything is great but try the Korean dishes!

This was a great breakfast spot, but seems to be under new ownership and has gone downhill: smaller portions (especially fries with breakfast), fries undercooked, stale coffee.

Nice family run spot with decent food and great staff

The food was very good and the staff was friendly enough. The only things that would have made the experience better was if we had eaten in the restaurant instead of taking it out and if one ofr the other patrons were not being having a rather negative conversation. These things were not the owners fault but they did taint the experience.

Breakfast here is amazing, i will say i am the biggest fan of eggs benedict and this place has the second best eggs benny Ive ever tasted and Ive tried it at every location in orillia and surrounding area that serves it . However they do not have children sized portions of food so be prepared for alot of left overs or sharing your food instead of paying full price for an adult meal a child would only eat a quarter of (if that(, other than that amazing food, breakfast and lunch and Korean dishes are fantastic. And the ladies that serve you are always so cherry and quite a delight, even if yore not a morning person. It is a little pricey but not too unreasonable.

Owners were very nice and friendly. Food was very greasy though. I had the vegetable vermicelli and I was tasting sesame oil for the rest of the night. My husband had a korean rib dish and he found it very greasy too. Prices were not bad.

Good for breakfast. Owner quite nice and accommodating. The eggs benny was enjoyed and came with a lovely fruit salad. The two egg special was well executed. Asked for crispy bacon and only got it half right (2 of 4 slices were crispy) Well priced. Cute decoration on the inside. Located in a lot next to a reptile store and with not much else around.
