Colborne is a go to for us

No buffet? Didnt stay drive to Barrie to Buffet. Only 30 minutes.

We didnt get a chance to try it. Its take out or delivery only. We were hoping to dine in

Pretty good food better than anything in this area.

Not a buffet restaurant. Change the name if thats the case.

Couldnt try it as its now takeout only, which we only found out after a 45 minute drive.

Went to the buffet. Was told no buffet. No dine in. Only takeout. Its literally called Colborne Chinese Buffet. Ridiculous.

The food is lovely! Delivered hot and fresh! They are very good with the flavours and it s hands down the best in orillia. All food was good portions and instructions were all followed. Delivery time was a good time and the family continues to enjoy the food we ordered BBQ spare ribs, mussels. Schezuan Shrimps, rice abs deep fried chicken wings. For a family of 6 and left overs. Very good portion size!

The dining room is still closed, Jan 2023. Take-out only. The take-out is great!! Discount for cash. Highly recommended.

Guys...Ive had a rough day. All I wanted was a big plate of sweet and spur pork and chicken fried rice. I asked for that and thats exactly what I got. Very happy with my experience.

I always get take out from this place and normally the food and service is great... but tonight i have never been more insulted when i called.. was told right away that the wait for pickup would be 40min.. i asked even if just a couple combo plates? She says maybe longer because priority is $150 to $200 orders and laughed.. we eat from here all the time and normally buy alot but we are in a hurry tonight and live 2 blocks from the place.. but who talks to customers like that? It wasnt Julie she is a lovely woman she knows me when i go there..

Ever time I eat in for there buffay or do take out to bring north Im never dissatisfied the best place to eat in orrilla. Worth dropping into here. Freindly staff help full. Check this place out you wont be disappointed. And glad that you did Vegetarian options: This place has good option on the buffay. Parking: Easy parking. And access to there place

We got home only to realize that part of our order was missing. The food was not very good and we wont be going back .

Amazing service amazing food amazing everything, the food is fresh, hot and very good. Lots of parking with a big parking lot, and they also do take out and delivery. In all cases the food was always fantastic. Would highly recommend this restaurant as it has a authentic Chinese taste and style aswell as the atmosphere. 11/10.

Sorry to say but the fried rice tasted like instant rice, the rest of the food was excellent

Best deals in town... food is delicious and we only go to colborne Chinese buffet... would totally recommend this restaurant... unfortunately its only takeout or delivery but its worth every minute u wait... the ladies r wonderful to deal with... wish they would reopen soon

This is my favourite chinese food in Orillia. After trying all of them 5 years ago, here is my monthly go-to.

It s so sad I always order from this restaurant, but it s Thursday afternoon evening. I have usual Friday morning I woke up and I was throwing up and considering it s food poisoning and never felt so sick of my life. I can t believe that I actually got food poisoning from this restaurant they should know about it.

We have been coming to Colborne Chinese for many years, as well have my family s family. We ve known Julie for quite some time! She always has THE BEST food and prices! She always has great portion sizes, lots of good food to go around. She is always the most friendly woman, and really treats all of her customers like friends! We have tried an assortment of foods here and I can honestly say I ve never had a problem with any of them! Thanks Julie for the many years of excellent food and service! Hats off to you!

Going to the 5 star category right off the hop. I ordered take out tonight with the usual reservations, especially at 7:30 at night. What I got was a Combo #3 that was hot, fresh and delicious. I cant tell you the last time I had an eggroll that wasnt flabby and greasy. These were crispy, crunchy and really, really good. I was served right at the door by a pleasant young lady that refused a tip...yeah, that happens a lot (sarcasm). This will be a regular stop for me...well done!!

First time here. Placed telephone order for the hockey game where Canda beat Russia 5-0. Food was ready on time and restaurant was following COVID restrictions which was nice to see. Food was hot, well packaged and of course good sized portions and delicious. Enough left for the Canada /U.S gold medal game tonight.

Golden Wok is amazing. Food is hot for a while after doordash delivers. generous portions, lower prices. And the food is properly cooked, elevated Chinese cuisine compared to other local Chinese foods which are bland and dry.

Ordered shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour shrimp, and shrimp Lo Marin. All foods are garbage. Seems very old food just heated up and handed over. I just spoiled my money.

Was a good place once got rancid chicken in the buffet then I decided to give them another chance and order take out asked for the sweet and sour sauce to be on the side as it makes everything soggy and gross was told that I would have to pay extra for sauce to be on the side as well as pay for soya sauce no thanks theres another Chinese restaurant that doesnt charge to put the sauce on the side or for condiments.

No Buffet even though a lot of places have started opening up they dont even offer dine in. Should really change the name to Colborne expensive Chinese Takeout

Excellent food and price. Had take out. Egg rolls could have been a bit fresher but everything else was excellent. Will be our go to from now on.

The best Chinese food in Orillia. I ve been here several times to the buffet and always enjoyed it. Tonight was the first time for pick up because of Covid and it was over the top. Loved all five dishes and have more than enough for a full dinner again. Thank you for your business

OH SO HAPPY!! This was our go to place for Chinese , when it went by another name,for many years. Only recently found out the owners had re-opened under Colborne Chinese Buffet. Went there Easter Sunday with husband, 2 boys, my parents and my father-in-law. We were greeted by the owner with theyre so much bigger!! You always sit back there! Do you want to move? Due to a member of our party needing to use a walker, we declined sitting in our favourite, farthest table. The buffet was very close to the same, which we always loved! My boys did their job, eating more than enough to make up for my small appetite. Will definitely be back!!

It is just ok .Staff are very good .The buffet presents a nice display but the food we would describe as ok .It is too expensive for two adults our bill came to 60 dollars for two for the buffet and we each had a coke. Its doutbful we would return to eat in .Take out would be a better option .

Owner Julie is very nice and welcoming, she remembered our names the seccond time we came in. Normally not a fan of buffets but like how clean and fresh the food is you can tell it hasnt sat out forever. The soups are delicious better then regular wonton and chowder soups Ive had!

Colborne is awesome, great fresh food, friendly staff and surprisingly not busy at all for a Saturday at 6pm! You can tell everyone gets along well its a good atmosphere. The food was always hot and everything tasted great, probably one of the best Chinese food Ive had, ever.

I was very surprised to find such a modest and exquisite Chinese restaurant in a small town. I originally thought it was just an ordinary lunch buffet, but I didn t expect that every dish was carefully prepared and the ingredients were fresh. I saw that there were no comments in Chinese in the reviews, so I would like to add one. I hope Boss business is booming!
