We first came here in the spring of 2023 for a show. Excellent honest food. Fast service and the owner is very kind. Fast forward to today and the place is just as it was. Great prices too.

A cozy nook where you enter as strangers and leave as friends. This diner serves up an amazing menu and VERY reasonable prices. Their breakfast special comes with coffee and you can add fired onions and peppers to your potatoes at no extra charge. Staff are friendly and make you feel at home. Best breakfast all around in a long time! We ll be back for sure!

Such a great little spot. Breakfast was terrific. I had Eggs Benedict. Best in town. The others at my table had omelets. No complaints. Service was attentive and fast. Everyone was friendly. Even the cook gave me a, good mornin when we came in. Clean, affordable and nice atmosphere.

Cecelia is the best! She used to work at Friends and she was our favorite waitress. Then she bought the place! Breakfast to die for. So delicious. Home cooked hot and fresh. We found this place by accident when we moved up here 6 years ago and we are regulars. It never disappoints.

They are upgrading soon, the food is absolutely delicious. I recommend the onion and red pepper home fries! Food is very reasonably priced and the staff are friendly.

Friends is a quaint little diner with a home town feel. The staff were super friendly. The food was very good and the prices reasonable. Breakfast for six hungry campers was served quick and hot. My potatoes were a little under done for my liking but they were very tasty with the optional onions and peppers. The coffee was really good too. Full bodied, and smooth.

Comfort diner food at super reasonable prices! We were pleasantly surprised when we got our bill that our meal, which was incredible and ample, was not an over inflated price like most restaurants! The servers were all very welcoming and friendly. We will be back every time we head up north! I asked for a tea and they brought me an actual tea pot - how lovely!!! Dietary restrictions: They actually asked if my husband wanted his hasbrowns just on the grill or deep fried!! He was grateful to have just the grilled option!

Stopped in out of desperation for a bite to eat. Happily surprised by quiet friendly atmosphere, pleasant wait staff and our breakfasts were very good. Will be back when in this area again.

What an amazing experience! I went into this small diner because I was waiting for someone at the drive test center. I wasnt expecting to get breakfast but didnt know what else to do with my time. When I finished my meal, the server told me someone wanted to pay it forward and they had selected me. I could have cried! I am on a very tight budget and it was out of my expected spending so to find out they had picked my meal meant more than words can express. To top it all off, the food was amazing and its such a cute little diner. I would go back in a heartbeat!! Thank you so much for making my day today!!!

Nice family atmosphere like having the breafest at home

Don t judge the book by it s cover. Not a lot of curb appeal but the food is fantastic. We had eggs Benny and my two boys French toast and bacon. Server was great. Friendly and prompt. Definitely be back and would recommend.

Eggs Benedict with my mom a couple weeks ago.....wow....really tasty! Had Eggs Benedict a couple other places, but I rate this one the best. Great service, friendly atmosphere, awesome food at very reasonable prices! I definitely recommend Friends. I personally like the cozy atmosphere. Reminds me of the restaurant my parents used to own.

We love coming to friends diner to get breakfast, its a great local restaurant! My partner loves the pepers and onions on the home fries, its a special touch. I got the soup of the day, beef and barly, delicious and heart warming. The staff here are very kind and welcoming :) cant wait to be back soon

We went there for the first time and both the atmosphere and staff were very pleasant. We ordered steak and eggs...The steak was flame broiled..and cooked perfectly. I was impressed it wasnt cooked on a griddle. Amazing food and staff.

The owners and staff are amazing and extremely friendly, as the name suggests. I had the Reuben and split an enormous piece of coconut cream pie. They have many choices of frozen and fresh food items for takeout, mushroom soup for today and frozen Shepards pie two weeks ago. Thank you Cecilia, Brittany and Alan!!

I rarely write reviews but I had to for this restaurant. I went to orilia for a wedding and was looking for a place to eat. I stumbled upon this restaurant. I got the beef dip and a Philly beef sandwich and it was delicious. The service is amazing and everyone is so nice. I would recommend coming here.

Some of the best pancake weve had. We went in since this is the closes breakfast place we saw from our motel and were happy we did. There was a line up but we did not have to wait for too long. Friendly service, price is amazingly affordable considering the amount of food. Small spot so tight seating, but people obviously did not mind waiting. Id happily wait again, too.

Dropped by for breakfast. Noticed very strict Covid rules. Server thoroughly cleaned the table and chairs. I like that. Service VG, menu not extensive but has all the breakfast staples. We had western sandwich, cheese omelet and Greek omelet. All very good. Definitely go again. One neg comment, clean the mens lavatory.!!

We went to Friends Diner for breakfast. We were able to sit down on their patio right away. The staff was friendly and well organized. Coffee and food was hot and delicious. Everything came out quickly which is a plus in a diner breakfast place. We will definitely be coming back for breakfast next time we are in Orillia.

What a great place. The breakfast is always delicious. The coffee is good. The homefries with onions are amazing. My daughter had a pancake and it came shaped like Mickey Mouse, she loved it. They also gave the kids fancy gold forks which they loved. The service is always very friendly and well definitely be going back again.

We just got away for the weekend and this little place called us in lol. Great friendly staff every single one. Safety measures taken and great food. We got a player with a little of everything can t remember the name but was huge and came with these huge pancakes. Loved them. And price was only like 12.99 per person with a coffee included.
