Good food and good service. It s a nice place inside too, looks like it s taken care of. I liked it a lot, will definitely go back. Dietary restrictions: They do gluten free toast on their flat top grill - that way there s no cross contamination!

Amazing breakfast served by some of the most friendly people in Orillia!

We decided to dine at Georges due to the numerous good reviews. I read the bad reviews to see the downside, complains of bacon not cooked properly, washroom smelling... Im happy to say the washroom smelled quite pleasant. The bacon was cooked crispy as requested. The whole breakfast was great and the coffee excellent. The staff were very pleasant and great to deal with. Definitely will return when back in the area. Thanks Georges!

The best breakfast and service that I have had period. I can say enough about our waitress, she was so polite and always asking if her could get us anything. I didnt get her name, but if my business was in Orillia I would hire her. It is so nice to have home cooked food, and the order came fast. If you ever in the area, make sure you stop in for breakfast or lunch. Kid-friendliness: My review says it all

Came here for breakfast and the food was great there should be more diners like this around. I wanted to mention and give a shout out to I believe I heard her name was Kelly the young girl who served us. What a polite and bubbly girl .. amazing manners and always made sure everyone had what they needed as she was going around from table to table. My husband and I were blown away by how polite she was... A tip well deserved!! Thank you!

I havent been here in years. We were in Orillia and decided ..lets go for breakfast.. Georges was right there so in we went. The place hasnt changed, which for me is a good thing. Service was great, breakfast was just like I liked. So if you want a old style steak and eggs for breaky this is the place.

I found it very expensive for one piece of french toast and a coffee.

My kids & I love Georges. Their food & service are consistent. I usually get breakfast here. I love their home fries.

You are not going to find a more affordable and down to earth breakfast restaurant in Orillia. This place has great serving size, and pleasant staff. What more could you want. I think the number of regulars I see here speaks for itself.

Decent breakfast in an unassuming diner setting that obviously enjoys a regular clientele, as our waitress seemed to know several groups. Food was good but the Hungry Man was a little lighter in variety than some others (some others offer more variety on the amounts of meats you can choose).

Wonderful breakfast with great friendly service. The in house made home fries / hash browned potatoes are cooked on the grill. They do not open a box of pre cut potatoes and deep fry them like many other restaurants are doing. The eggs easy over are soooo tender. Georges is the real deal.

We just moved to Orillia in February and finally got out and about to try this spot. It s definitely one of Oriliia s hidden jems! The food was full of flavour and really nice, the service and friendliness even better! My wife and I were really happy we started our day at George s Country Kitchen. We will definitely be back!!!! Highly recommend to anyone who s looking for a home cooked meal done to perfection! Great service, great price, and very tasty indeed! Steve & Sharyn

The diner is cozy albeit old, but the food and service is awesome. The home fries are the best I had in a long time, nice & crispy the way I love it! I gobbled most of my food before I realized I hadn t taken a picture. Apparently the hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benny is homemade . I would rate it 4.5/5

Great breakfast spot. Highly recommend, great portions and a very fair price. I love how the cook comes out to serve you and check everything is ok. Will definitely be going back for lunch.

Got takeout. The big breakfast is a decent price and the meats were good. The toast however was pretty burnt 3 of the 4 pieces. Not sure how the eggs were cooked but theyre pretty rubbery.. was asked how I wanted them done I asked for extra crispy eggs over hard. By the look of the other pics here all the eggs are cooked the same. Steamed. Not a big fan of rubbery eggs but the staff was friendly and the price wasnt bad. Overall may go back again not sure.

Had the steak and eggs, bacon and sausage which can be risky! But all I can say was... it was phenomenal Great food and great cook! Really fast service aswell.

Excellent simple breakfasts which dont leave you over stuffed. Decor is - who cares really - its clean and the tables etc are clean. So the floor is cracked and broken down looking, Id rather this than them piling a bunch of money into it and raising the prices, it would probably end them. Service is great, the waitress was very pleasant, and the cook who i think may be named George came out to say hello as we were leaving and thanked us for coming in. That was a nice touch.

Scrambled eggs were not fully cooked and slimy, the home fries were not even hot or completely cooked and I asked for crispy bacon and got rubber. Never again, although service was fast and friendly.

Fantastic classic diner faire, Georges is a staple in Orillia. Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices. Any time were in town for breakfast or lunch, this is our go-to!

Exactly what we wanted. A true breakfast diner experience. Attentive service, eggs cooked the way we wanted, pleasant staff. Bathrooms need attention, but otherwise restaurant is clean.

Cleaner than it was back in feb, good social distancing of tables and the breakfast was quite good.

Fantastic staff and food. The two ladies that work there are always super friendly, and seem happy to see you when you walk in. Definitely recommend this place over the mass chains around.

The Good: Perfect traditional bacon and eggs breakfast, fair prices and excellent waitress service. Retro diner feel. Good value. The Bad: Filthy, sticky worn out floors, waitress staff doing dishes between serving tables. The Ugly: Disgusting smelly washrooms. Theyve got a good thing going but the areas on neglect would stop me from coming back.
