The food is delicious but the waiting for the food for an hour is unacceptable. The girl who worked there calls my name wrong. The food shouldnt be taking that long to be ready for pick up.

First time at this location. Service was quick, and personable. We ordered the BBQ ribs with Caesar, quarter chicken dinner, and teriyaki chicken. All was great, but if you are on a low sodium diet, let them know to reduce salt, and have the teriyaki sauce on the side. The salt was through the roof. But they changed it, no question. Dessert was plain cheesecake no sauce, and again the sugar content was through the roof. Bear in mind if you are sugar sensitive. Otherwise, it was pretty good. Had a glass of merlot and it was quite good. I overheard that the coffee is very good here, but did not try myself. Parking: There is addtl parking at the rear

We did take out Saturday night , received our food and were charged twice, spoke to the so called manager with the receipt and bank charges in which he denied, Said he would follow up with us today and that did not happen

Dinner tonight was a fun experience. Our waiter, Perrin, was exceptional. Friendly helpful and fun to interact with. He made our di ing experience one of the best we have had in a long time. Food was good as usual and broccoli cheddar soup was great. Overall a great time and look forward to doing it again soon. Food

Quarter Chicken meal with coffee. The chicken was good but the fries were dry. The Chalet sauce helped but I was disappointed. Good friendly service.

Went for dinner on September 5th. Entree and appetizers were good, but shrinkflation is alive and well when it came to the coleslaw side . It was served in the same size container the sour cream came in no more that two forks full. We would never serve dinner guests such a paltry amount of any side . Would be even more disappointed if we weren t laughing at the nerve of Swiss Chalet.

Im vegetarian so wasnt expecting much, but they served. Our waitress was through to the point and we got what we wanted from this place. Was not at all expecting the birthday march, LOL Still, nice place, so worth your time in Orillia. Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options for the meatless people.

My husband & I went Aug. 1/24 to Swiss Chalet in Orillia for dinner to celebrate our 42nd Anniversary. Everything was great! Enjoyed it very much. Staff are amazing! Have always loved their meals. We started with springs rolls which were delicious, my husband had 1/2 Chicken with fries, was excellent & I had Caesar Salad with Chicken, also excellent & plentiful; had leftovers. Great meal & service.

Clean, spacious restaurantn. Tania was our server, very friendly & efficient, made sure we got fresh coffee which was greatly appreciated. Thanx guys for a delicious, hot birthday lunch.

Ordered through the app for take out. Arrived on time yet I had to stand at the takeout desk for 10min before being spoken to. Food was cold.

Not a great experience. Took 14 minutes for Tamara to come take our drink and food order. Then felt rushed being cashed out.

Hot roast beef sandwich was tasty but was made of scapes and the fries were like leftover bits.

I ordered on the online app. I ordered for the 8:05pm pick up. I paid for my order at 7:55pm with a tip. I literally seen 3 people order and leave. At 8:13pm I asked if my order is even done yet and told the Manager people were leaving after I paid. She apologized which was nice. It was ready got home and our 2 meals were completely COLD!! I was goi g to take it back but didn t want to drive all the way back I was already mad at the whole ordeal!! Again I always order take out and never ever encountered this makes me wonder if I should go back! So I wasted my time on the info you told me to go to for my review. No response go figure!!!

We order from Swiss chalet Twice a month for most part. I get wings medium hot. And barbecue sauce. Normally very good. I bought this time. Mine were cold and not hot at all. I don t like hot hot. But medium hot. I got cold wings and not medium hot at all. I tried to microwave them but not good at all. Very disappointed. Well I guess I will have to go somewhere else now. It s a shame because they used to be good. When I say medium hot I m talking about the sauce not the heat they get from being in oven. To bad.

Our server was Sierra L in Orillia & she was absolutely amazing and friendly and we would come back on that alone 11 star for her Vegetarian options: Not any that I know of Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp outside way too steep a lady with a walker fell because it was so steep

This Swiss Chalet was one of the best I ve visited - service was great by our server, Tamara (cheerful and quick!), and our food was exactly to order and hot. Restaurant was clean and looked recently renovated. Will be back!

I have always loved the food at Swiss Chalet, mostly because of the Chalet Sauce, Id drink a cup of that. This place is just what youd expect from Swiss Chalet, service is good, food is good, food comes out quickly. Its always a plus when you can gain and redeem points as a CAA member and Scene collector.

Got Take Out and had the Chicken on a Bun with fries for 2. Got a big chunk of cartilage in my first bite of the sandwich then several pieces of pink, undercooked chicken on the bun! No condiments other than the SC sauce, no napkin or fork for $17.59. Are you kidding me?

Always great food, service, pricing, and atmosphere What more could you ask for; especially at the price point they offer. You can also always use your CAA card for a free appetizer or desert. Parking: We always get the hot chicken sandwich, which is great.Sometimes we split it. We also never get the hot vegetables that come with it, we trade that for a salad. We enjoy the tossed salad with the house dressing and have it in advance of the meal. Much prefer fresh salad to frozen vegetables. There is no price difference at all. They are very accommodating, polite, and friendly. The atmosphere is great, especially for the price point charged. Kid-friendliness: We have no young children, so cannot comment on this.

I often frequent this Swiss Chalet in Orillia when traveling back from Toronto. It does not have the road traffic like Barrie and is way easier to access simply taking the Memorial drive turn off drives right to the restaurant . Exit right turn out of the parking lot then make a left turn out onto the highway again very quick and easy. Done it with the tractor-trailer many times. I have always found this particular Swiss Chalet to be generous with portions, clean and staff that is friendly and attentive. I have eaten st Swiss Chalet for well over 50 years all over the province . The first time I went I was so young I thought the finger bowl was weak lemonade LOL. This is one of my favorites. No small chicken breasts here they are very fair with their portions and have wonderful service. I feel good coming out of there knowing Ive had a good salad and chicken and fries for a treat! Keep up the great work gang!

Sierra was quick, efficient and personable throughout our visit. Food was quickly brought out and hot. Salad as a side is my preferred however the Caesar salad is nothing fancy and the garden salad I had the time before this was brown.

My server was amazing, her name was Madi she gave such a beautiful smile right from the start. She gave her name and made sure i was happy with my food and service all the way through. I felt my fries had to much salt and she was so quick to try and fix it but i did not let her as it was not her fault. So food was great atmosphere was outdated and Madi is the best server i have had in a long time.

Madison is great 10/10 will come again!

My wife and I moved out to Orillia a few months ago, and decided to finally try the Swiss Chalet. I got served the Chicken Quarter Dinner, with my wife having the same. Our food came out beautifully. Juicy, seasoned, absolutely wonderfully tender. Our server, Madison, couldn t have done a better job either. She was an absolutely fantastic server and handled us extremely well. With me and my wife being older she was extremely patient with us and was wonderful at her job. Absolutely stunning woman and I couldn t ask for a better server in all of Orillia. I couldn t recommend her over any server I ve had on throughout my fifth eight years. Out of my short experience in the city, I couldn t recommend the restaurant greater. Fantastic job to everyone involved, but especially to Madison. Thank you to the management and her, especially.

When we visit on Sundays, we always ask for Tamara because she takes extra special care of us. She always remembers our regular order & makes sure there s a fresh pot of coffee on when we arrive for lunch. We wish this location would open at 11:30 on Sundays. There s usually a lineup of people at the door when we arrive at 11:55. Love the Chalet sauce!!

We just wanted to highlight the exceptional service we received from Perrin W last evening. This was the second time we had the pleasure Perrin being our server and easily the best experience ever and wanted to acknowledge him. Thank you and will see you again.

My husband ordered the pulled rib BBQ sandwich. Found 3 large bones in the sandwich. Very dissapointed as was a tasty sandwich. We were in there near closing and felt very rushed to get out of there so it was hard to relax. I ordered chicken on a Kaiser..which was very dry and soy that was cold. Very dissapointed in my dining experience all round. Edit..March 12th 2024 Received response from owner..offered a 15%discount..I dont mean to sound ungrateful but that doesnt even cover half the price of the sandwich I voiced that in response and have heard nothing back. Im so dissapointed in this establishment as it appears they do not care about their customers experience..or at least make a decent effort to make it right..

Ordered on-line prior to pick up; was busy upon arrival so Im glad I did. 1/4 chicken dinner and order of perogies and I was on my way in no time while others were still waiting patiently for their order. Got home and was surprised that there was no big plastic container now for the chicken; well done Swiss Chalet. ( now using all recycled cardboard). Either I was really hungry or the food was delicious (likely both) but I really enjoyed this dinner! I had to save 4 perogies for lunch the next day! Definitely delicious like I remember and will be back!! A+
