Hanged me 2.50 for soup extra which is not advertised on top of 3.99 combo extra on top of the mid sub $14.99 And my sub had half amount of meat as before They are cheating every corner I will not recommend nor to come back Very disappointed

Same problem every other place has these days, price is too high for what you get. That said, the sammiches here are always exceptional, no doubt the food is fantastic, but $18-$22 for 1 large sammich is just hard to deal with, and if the average sammich were priced closer to $12-$15 for a large, where they should be, theyd actually get more money from me as I would come more often. Clearly not this locations fault, just the reality of eating out in 2024. Corporate greed strikes again.

Out of salami at a sub shop? Come on. It was Friday of the long weekend. The shop was disgusting. Garbage over flowing and napkins and crumbs all over the floor. Then I made the mistake of looking behind the counter! What word describes worse than disgusting? It clearly hadn t been cleaned at all the entire day. Did I still eat my sub? Yes. Could I stop thinking about how gross and dirty the restaurant was? No. Have a look around at cleanliness BEFORE you order. Don t make my mistake. Gross!!!

Very little seating available, great subs tho

Super impressed with the sandwiches I purchest they were freshley made and the meat is actually real meat, other sub pla e cannot compare i would never lea e a review for any fast food place but this place is nice and so are the staff.

Asked for no pickles due to allergy and and couldn t eat all 3 subs. Live out of town so there was no going back.

The food is great and service is quick , however I give it one star for its poor layout , there is extremely limited seating with no more then 2 people to sit at any of the tables , and the seating they do have is down the aisle where people are ordering food so you are constantly getting bumped , this place needs to expand and get proper seating , I will not be back to this location because of the seating problem

Every time i place an only order i think the call gets disconnected. As soon as i finish letting them know what i want they hang up theres no ok bye see you in 15-30 minutes

Subs were delicious. I had the brisket and cheddar sub and my husband had the hook and ladder. I can never get through the medium size, portions are big. I would definitely recommend Firehouse Subs.

Poor service. My son wanted a medium cup to go with the bottled drink he was purchasing, and the cashier refused to give him one. When I asked for an explanation, she called over another employee and has a lengthy discussion with her in a language which was not English (I can only assume that they didnt want me to know what they were talking about). They made him pay $3 for an empty cup and never provided an explanation why. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Went to firehouse today at 5:30pm. Mandeep took my order. While it was getting toasted she took cash from another customers with her gloves on. Then she went back and finished adding toppings on my sub. Super gross. Walked out and threw the sun out.

The quality of the subs here is much much better than you-know-where and although the prices might be a bit much for some... The amount of ingredients stuffed in the sub is awesome. Very filling and delicious. Also--- it has that cola machine with the different flavours you barely see in stores!

The staff are always fast and the food always fresh.

Usually I see them drain the meat after heating it when making our subs, and that keeps the sub crisp and tasty. I didn t see them make my subs today but I assume they skipped that step, both subs were soggy and messy. Still tasted good but not nearly as good as what we typically get. First time this has happened so I assume it s just a different staff sorta thing.

Really enjoy Firehouse Subs - much better than any of their competition and that it s for a good cause makes it even better. Portions are great and options are all great. Everyone will find something of their liking here for sure.

I took my grandson here and we got the Steak and cheese subs with mushrooms. It was delicious. We love Firehouse Subs. I recommend people try these subs. I havent had a bad one yet.

These arent your fathers submarine sandwiches. Pricey, but worth the wait. Youll not be able to eat a regular sub again. Rating lowered due to placing my order, waiting patiently and ravenously and then being told I couldnt eat inside as they were closed. These subs arent car-friendly to eat....

I get the hero sub when I come here. It is overall good but the packaging makes the bread go soggy. Also, they gave me white bread instead of whole wheat

Delicious subs with lots of quality meat - love the Smokehouse Brisket! Even with only a few people in the restaurant service is a bit slow, but worth the wait if you have the time. I also enjoy their promo of a free sub on your birthday!

Customer service was atrocious. We were a group of three. I sat at the booth with 3 chairs while I was waiting for the order. As I sit there an employee races to the back and grabs her personal items and comes and tosses them on the booth right in front of me right where my other two household members were just about to sit. She proceeds to return behind the counter and ignore the fact that she just scatter her stuff across the booth and continues to work. We then politely ask - sorry are we not allowed to sit inside here - we have our vaccination records if you d like to see them. They respond saying we aren t allowed. Not sure why they couldn t have nicely said that to us when they saw us sit down instead of passively aggressively throwing their stuff on the counter as I sit there. Or why they even have chairs setup there for customers. We have never felt so disrespected. The behaviour was super unprofessional. She had just hoped we would take a hint I guess.

Not the quality I expected from fire house subs. Mobile order, sandwich ready. Bread tasted stale, with hard corners. Mind you it was brown or whole wheat, but unfortunately reminded me of another subway shop that pretends to have fresh bread but then wants you to get it toasted so you cant tell its not fresh. The steak on the steak and cheese was tasteless and had the texture of boiled meat. Never ordered this one before, wont order this sub again, thats on me. Hopefully this experience isnt indicative of where the franchise is going.

Yep, this is a seriously good sammich! I had the Hook and Ladder. Nice and warm but with cool and fresh veggies. A tad pricey at the till but when I opened the bag there was probably 5 bucks worth of carton, bag, napkins and even a couple tasty pickles, so the price was fair. The competition needs to get their butts over to Firehouse to learn a thing er two about making subs. Nicely done! Update: Uh-oh!...went and got the same sub and theyre slipping - hoping its just a bad day. Bun was a tad stale and crumbly and despite the request for pickles, I didnt get any and didnt realize til I got home...I guess normally, you let the little things slide, but when you expect this much for a medium sandwich, the end result should be bang-on! You wouldnt accept me paying 85% of the bill, so thats why the complaint. No biggy, Im just hoping you dont end up like the other guys. :)

If you have never tried a Firehouse Sub and eat regularly at Subway or Mr.Sub then you are in for a treat. I tried a Firehouse Sub for the first time yesterday (I got the meatball one, my wife got the steak and cheese) and aside from the price being a little steep which is why I am giving it four stars, the flavor cannot be beat. I cant see myself eating Subway or Mr.Sub anymore, they just do not compare. Firehouse subs are fresher, taste better and look more appealing. Plus I was welcomed by the staff when I entered the store, thanked for my purchase and was given a friendly farewell when I left. Another great thing is if you choose you can round up your bill and the proceeds go to First Responders. I encourage everyone to try a Firehouse Sub.

We have been to this location multiple times since it opened and it has quickly become a favourite quick meal for us. Often use the online ordering and every meal has been perfect. Restaurant is clean and staff are curious. Would recommend!

Definitely a fan of firehouse subs my first experience from this location was very disappointing . I had ordered the brisket with cheddar one of may favorites I paid for an extra topping and did not receive. The meat was fatty and mushy it was tasteless which I found odd. Love the Barrie location not sure why this one would be any different. Will not return.

Was a bit dissapointed with my sandwich. Something just didnt taste right. Now Im 24 hours into fever and vomit etc as the Sub didnt stay submerged in my gulliver, as I expected it to. The people were nice. These things happen but, perhaps a deep clean is in order, just in case. Had the beef and cheese.

Staff are always helpful and operators are great community supporters. Purchased gift certificates at a charity auction and was happy to use them for catering platters for a family function. Love their catering platters. Lots of selection, good quality and fair prices.

Best subs anywhere but quality comes with a price (but its worth it). A large sub and a gluten free (medium only) cost around $32. The app takes some getting used to as it is a web based application but once you get used to it youll be ordering in seconds. Average wait time is around 13minutes which give me just enough time to order from home and within 2 minutes of arriving my subs are bagged and ready. These subs are packed with flavor. Like most Firehouse Sub locations seating is available but very limited. Id advise doing takeout as the tables are often dirty and staff like to take their breaks in the pickup area. Staff is always friendly and my orders are always correct. Its time the Firehouse gave out some coupon codes to us Canadian customers though. Follow them on Facebook for the occasional special. Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free bun is available for an additional cost of $2.50. It is very good though unlike other restaurants gf buns can be.

Subs are big with generous amounts of toppings, very easy to order online.

Unfortunately I didnt have the best experience here, I love Firehouse and have had great experiences every time Ive gone but this location in particular left me feeling dissatisfied. The cashier was rude, I ordered a large sub and received a medium, the ingredients in the sub didnt match what I ordered and there was a piece of ham inside my sub box however I am a vegetarian.

Had the brisket & cheddar sub and it was amazing. Boyfriend had a steak & cheese which was also amazing. Busy spot for sure on a Friday night but we walked in - ordered & had our subs in 12 mins. Very efficient!

Tried firehouse subs for my first time today and was left disappointed. I ordered the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket large sub, I asked for no mayo (as I don t like mayo at all and will not eat it) and also asked and paid for sautéed mushrooms. I didn t get the mushrooms I paid for and there was a ton of mayo on my sub needless to say I couldn t eat my sub it was a huge waste of money.

Firehouse Subs sets a new bar for competing sandwich shops. Not only is the businesses background story inspiring and interesting, the customer service during my first visit was fantastic. While the options are certainly in the higher price range, the quality of the food alone is absolutely worth it. I decided to get the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket - and it was so great that I dreamed about it later that night. My only regret is that now I know Subway and Mr. Sub will never come close to how awesome Firehouse Subs are. Delicious as f*ck.

We definitely love the subs and glad there here in Orillia,, how ever this is the second time that my order was not good.. the grill cheese was to hard for the little one to eat so we had to make something else for him to eat .. 2 subs were not made right .. absolutely nothing but to much sauce and toasted way to much, for a 100 dollar order you would think it would have been a whole lot better,,

Every time I order online a head of time, my order isnt started until I get there. It really defeats the purpose of ordering ahead of time. My order has also been messed up twice regarding allergies.

Appeared to be pretty busy around the lunch hour. The place was clean with current safety protocols in place. Food was served quick. It was tasty and at an average price for the types of sandwiches offered.

We are from the GTA and were passing through Orillia from Sudbury. We decided to grab a meal at Firehouse . When we entered this place we saw two people were waiting for their take outs. We ordered 4 subs and were waiting for our orders. By now the 2 people had left the place obviously having collected their orders. When we were waiting for our order inside we were told to wait outside by a South Asian lady amongst the staff. I wonder why we were asked to wait outside while the 2 people who had come ahead of us were allowed to wait inside while their orders were being completed. Looks like a case of different strokes for different folks. No more visiting this place.

UPDATE: Ill leave my original review below for context. We re visited this franchise again to give it another chance as per the response from the owners. This visit was FAR better then the last. The experience was completely different. Service was pleasant and prompt. About 7 min to get our food this time. As usual the food is spectacular but a bit on the pricey side. I do understand why however. I will be changing my star count from 2 to 3. Only because of the inconsistent service. If the service is this good next time we go, Ill upgrade to 5 star. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Good food, very expensive, took absolutely forever to get our food. 2 sandwiches took 25 minutes to make. Seriously....25 MINUTES TO MAKE 2 SNADWICHES!! Not exactly fast food. Also, the dude working the cash was miserable.

My sub smelled bad and tasted like old meat. This place seems dirty. Not for me.

Terrible experience. I won an Instagram contest for a $100 giftcard. They sent it to me as 4 $25 paper giftcards and wouldnt allow me to consolidate it or give change if I didnt use the full amount. They initially told me they would, yet after I ordered they backtracked and said they no longer do that. They also made me wait 45 minutes (no exaggeration) to sort out how to use the giftcards. I even talked to the ownership Ravish, who was unapologetic. Never once did he apologize for the inconvenience and the fact that I was there for 45 minutes because they didnt know how to use the giftcards. We also asked for hot water to drink. They tried to give us hot tap water (which is very unhygienic). Stay away from this location.

Ordered a Hero on white, got over toasted brown. Really dry & no extra pickle as requested. I think quality has really been slipping since the franchise opened.

Terrible all around. 25 minutes to make our order. Specifically asked for no mustard and first bite almost threw up. Chili was cold and sub definitely not worth the price . Undercover Boss definitely would get great footage here.

well we heard so much about this place so we tried it .Thurs of this week Dec 2nd. 2021 Hands down the worst sub I have ever bought. So I ask for a foot long as my husband and I were going to share, got the club on a sub we drove away and parked to eat it. First the sub was cut into one eight inch half and one four inch half maybe they should buy a tape measure!! Of course I gave my husband the bigger half. It looked good at first but after my first two bites I realized that my husband had the sub. My puny four inches had no cheese my husbands half was loaded with double the meat and all the cheese so the pre packaged ingredients that were taken out of the heater were not distributed equally on the surface of the sub. The last inch of my half was just empty bread. Need less to say my husband thought his was great. I should have taken it back after the first two bites and had them remake it but who has the time for this!! So obviously the person who made the sub does not give a **** about what they send someone out the door with
