660 Atherley Rd #1,2, Orillia, ON L3V 1P2, Canada
This is the most incredible restaurant. It's one of those small restaurants that are hidden in the city. I went there yesterday and everytime I can find an excuse to. I like to try new places. And have been in some seriously classy high end food establishments. But this mom and pop shop blow them all out of the water and now I don't want to go anywhere else!
I’ve come here probably 20 times in the past 2 years, takeout and dine in. It was my go to sushi place and I’ve never had a complaint with food or service. But today at “all you can eat” which is dine at n, the salmon was rotten, I got a spicy salmon roll and the salmon was nearing a brown color. I tried one piece and had to spit it out because of how tough and bad tasting it was. I sent it back and wasn’t charged, which was nice. The chicken was also very brown, cutting into the sweet and sour chicken it was dark brown. It tasted fine but I don’t think they are using chicken breast, maybe he dark meat? If they do use chicken breast, it must’ve been older as well. I hate that I had a bad experience here, this is my favourite sushi place in orillia, but I won’t be coming back or recommending it after my experience today.
Koi sushi has been great every time I've gone. If you want a good deal go for lunch during Thursday. Or even dinner, we were able to feed three people all you can eat for only $106. The staff is super good and friendly! I always enjoy the shrimp tempura and the salmon sushi.
Amazing place for all you can eat! Food is full with flavor and great quality. A huge selection of food. The Orilla roll is definitely a must have. If you aren't the biggest fan of sushi, they also have other items. Their beef Ramen is to die for! Service is pretty fast and nice. Would recommend this place to anyone! Will be back again
Very Good Menu & Fast Service, Generals Chicken was Great, but Tempura shrimp were a bit Soggy :( We will definitely return soon!
First time coming here, after a long drive from the beach nearby. We found this sushi place has all you can eat. But we only ordered a 30 pcs sashimi and 2 rolls cause we don’t think we can do all you can eat. I believe that if you pay for all you can eat, definitely will be worth the value. One of the sushi roll is very interning they put bananas inside which is my first time ever has. If you are craving sushi in Orilla. Could be a option :)
This sushi restaurant just outside of Orillia is a nice little gem! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sushi & the speediness of my order. The salmon was fresh & the rice was still a little warm (my fav 😋). They had Salmon Rose on the menu which automatically is a win in my books, and the menu was nicely organized. I ordered & it was ready for pickup within 20 minutes! It was pricey, but I did opt for a la carte as opposed to AYCE. This place should be a top choice when considering sushi in the Orillia area 🍣⭐️
I've been here several times and am never disappointed. Food is served up fresh in record time. On average you can expect a pickup order to be bagged and ready in 20 minutes (30 min during dinner). Staff are always friendly.
Very tasty food
Really amazing takeout! Haven t had it in years and it was fabulous last week!
Not alot to choose from in Orillia but this by far the best.
Great food. Great portions. Exceptional customer service.
Sushi was good, service was very quick.
My wife and I come here all the time for really good sushi. I know some people arent into raw fish or sashimi but if you come here try the butterfish.
It s good sushi!
Great, friendly service and the food was fantastic
Time is limited so it takes away the dining pleasure.
Some of the sushi was Ok, but Its a waste to give even one star about service. I used all-you-can-eat, after we ordered twice, the server had never ever come to my table even though I was calling her several time. Do I have to beg for food? I won t go there again even if I want to eat sushi.
Great food, nice staff
If you are a sushi lover, this is probably not the best place. The sushi were very small (very thin slice of fish) and everything just tasted bland. we tried 3 maki rolls and all 3 were tasteless ( spicy salmon not spicy, rainbow roll barely any salmon on it and the spicy crab avocado had barely any crab in it). The meat (beef sirloin, yakitori, kalbi) tasted bland (no sauce, so seasoning). The gyoza were still frozen inside. But The lemon chicken and general tsao were drowning in sauce. Overall, it was very underwhelming and disappointing experience has i was craving sushi for a while. The food is still edible, its just not fantastic. Definitely had better elsewhere (even at the grocery store). The price doesnt reflect the quality of the food (32$ + for all you can eat) too expensive for what it was. Had it been cheaper, my review would have been better.
Tasty and cozy local spot with all you can eat and a la carte menu options. Welcoming and friendly team.
Exactly as advertised. As much as you can expect from a little diner sized sushi place, Koi delivers. Friendly service, quick delivery of ordered items. Will be coming here again in the future.
Excellent food and on time service! Our server was awesome!
When Im in the area, I enjoy a lunch of sushi here.
Good food. All 5 of us enjoyed our meals. I would love some crispy veg rolls on the menu. More washrooms are needed and the writing on the wall of the restaurant needs to be painted over. Tidy up a bit. Will return.
price is far too expensive for the quality of sushi. Not worth paying for all you can eat when it s not good. Atmosphere is quite unwelcoming and stuffy. Overall would recommend going elsewhere.
Koi is not a fancy place, by any means, but the fresh, delicious food helps to make up for it!! The Pad Thai has been the only disappointing dish to note. It was a bit too sweet for us. We tend to order from the all you can order menu when we visit. Again, not fancy, still paper and pencil, but they rarely miss any items. I have had great, smiling service on some visits and others that were less pleasant. Take out options are available, and there are often many take out orders being picked up when I go here. I hope you enjoy it if you try it!! Vegetarian options: Lots of items that are non meat and dairy to choose from. Parking: There are a few spots in front of the restaurant and a larger, unpaved, lot to the side. Kid-friendliness: My kids enjoy the food here. I wouldnt say its geared for kids, but there are interesting flags along the ceiling that they could look at. Wheelchair accessibility: As far as I can tell, the front entrance has a 2 inch step and would be difficult to enter by chair. Im trying to remember if the washroom was accessible, but I cant recall. It is tucked in the back.
Wonderful food! Couldnt ask for a better place for a bite to eat. 10% cash discount was a nice bonus. Friendly and fun staff. 5/5 - Highly Recommended Food
Do not get the honey chicken if you don t like mush, chicken fried rice is pretty good.
Hadnt been in a long time...thought we would give it another try and it did not disappoint. Great food, great service - overall great experience. Went a second the same week with others...and again - great experience.
The best sushi restaurant ever
Service was pretty good. Only 1 washroom stall for the entire restaurant. (Couldnt use it as it smelt so bad) Did the all you can eat and for almost 40 bucks per person the menu was not good at all. All cheap stuff. Sadly even the cheap stuff didnt taste great Food
Never disappointed, always fresh.
All I can say is as far as the Chinese food goes. NEVER AGAIN. We are new to Orillia and have been struggling to find decent takeout food places here. Sorry People of Orillia you have no idea how you are being deprived of decent Chinese take-out. Food
Food tasted lovely, the restaurant was a little busy and understaffed, but thats our of their control Parking: Additional parking available off to the side of the building
The food was OK, and some foods were preheated or double deep fried. takeout highly overpriced, making up their own pricing some sushi to take home was a $1 piece. Wasnt very friendly staff. Wouldnt recommend it.
This place is delicious and I have to say its the best sushi in Orillia
The staff are friendly (and busy!) And the food is always wonderful!
Went for dinner the food was gross the beef was so tough it was like shoe leather spent over $300. Will never go there again or recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Had a good lunch. All you can eat, good food a little expensive for lunch
Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Clean and updated feel inside. Food was delicious and how they had their sushi in a display cabinet! Great place and I would definitely go again
The server was very nice. The food was gross. The restaurant smelt like sewer.
This is a great option for Chinese/Oriental foods. We were a large group and they looked after us quite well. No complaints from anyone in our 15+ group! Everyone had a great meal. Some dined a la carte, and some had the buffet. The atmosphere was a little lacking, more like a storefront, and the furniture is getting dated, but the food quality was good. Id certainly give it another try. The a la carte prices were very reasonable.
One of our favourite places! We love getting the vegetarian Maki set. Its always fantastic!
Please dont be fooled by the photos you see here. Ive been going here 3-5 times a year for the sole purpose of giving them another try. I go to Barrie for all you can eat sushi otherwise. Its close to home and I want them to be better, I want to support local but I am bamboozled everytime! Please save your money and go somewhere else for quality food because you wont find it here still. The food comes out no where near as pretty as you see in the pictures in the reviews. The sashimi is tiny as if they dont want you to eat fish and at their price I expect beautiful creamy sashimi. The rolls are messy, the fish is sliced paper thin and at times fishy and slimy. The salad even sits pre-made in a bowl in a fridge and comes out with wilted lettuce every time. Typically there is no one else dinning in, so how can you not make a salad to order, fresh? The servers are nice-ish, not pleasant, not rude just there, filling your drink if you are lucky and taking your 2nd paper of orders also if you are lucky, which must be intentional because theres typically no one in the dinning room as I said. I cant understand anyone even ordering take out if they cant produce delicious food for sit in. Next time, I will ensure some kind of inspection takes place and will monitor the provincial sites because how are they still operating like this? Are people that accepting or awful quality food? Gross.
Cost 2 people $90 for all you can eat. Way above advertised price. We ordered 2 rounds and didnt max order in either round. Chopsticks were provided but placed directly on the table of our booth, no napkin or anything. When we ordered and a portion of our order didnt show up, we werent told why, we had to ask why, only to be told they didnt have it. They werent going to say anything to us. The sushi is not great. Its like slightly warmed grocery store grade sushi with the added bonus of the rolls crumbling when you try to put it in soy sauce. The fish topping was okay. Whitefish included, as well as the miso soup. First and only visit, will not be going back. At least if I had gone to the grocery store and spent $90 on sushi, I could have had 5 people stuffed with sushi, instead of 2 people wondering where the $90 went while staring at walls scribed with vulgarities.
Update. Service and food are usually on point. I m updating based on our dinner experience. We dined in for dinner a few weeks ago. We personally usually do lunch or take out as we don t eat sashimi so not worth the pricing. However we ate here for dinner for a birthday celebration and we re surprised that their lunch and dinner menu are the same. Usually the dinner price is more as there is usually a wider selection of sashimi, sushi, grill and desserts with a dinner menu that are not available with the lunch menu. The lunch menu here is somewhat comparable to other AYCE in the cities (a bit smaller) however they serve the same lunch menu for dinner and weekends with a $9-$10 premium. It would be nice to see an expanded dinner menu with more selection. Interior is run down and could use a deep clean and refresh still. We still like the food - It is really the only place locally for sushi and or AYCE. Service has been consistently really good - thank you Food is decent 3.5/5. Flavour of food closer to 4/5 Quality/quantity 3.5/5 AYCE is pretty good. Take out is also good. I would say their to go salad has been disappointing this past year. It s the size of a small in a large container which makes it not worth the price anymore. (I loved the salad before) The to go pricing also seems to be high for what you get. That being said. I get people are increasing prices or shrinking sizes or both. Atmosphere. It is a little bit dark, sticky and dingy. Meaning it could definitely feel cleaner. Good clean with a fresh coat of paint. The one booth where people write on the wall for me Feels like an icky bathroom stall.
Great sushi and great price!
It seems to be run by Thais. The taste was just worth eating. Because it was late, there were no other customers.
Best seafood in town, I love the whole menu but my favourite is crab meat & salmon
The veggie sushi was delicious!
We went for lunch on a Thursday and it was pretty quiet which was great as we had our 2 year old with us (sometimes he can be loud). Food was great and came out pretty fast. The portion sizes were perfect to share so we didnt have any worry about waste, which they state they will charge per piece for when you do the all you can eat. It was a reasonable price for all you can eat and a great selection. There wasnt anything we didnt like and nothing was dripping with grease. Staff was polite and friendly and it was clean (including the bathroom). Definitely recommend this place.
What a terrible experience. My spouse and I wanted to try this based on the reviews, however their dining policy is absolutely ridiculous. They cant serve shared tables?! When I asked to be put on a separate bill/table, I was refused . My hubby was really looking forward to the all you can eat, and couldnt have it because i didnt want the all you can eat, we will not be returning.
Awesome little place...
Midweek lunch and we have the place pretty much to ourselves. Food is fresh and tasty, service great
Better than any all you can eat Sushi Restaurants in Barrie. They make the food right. Good in portion. Quality of the food is great. Highly recommend. Food
Always good food I like variety so I order the party platters I just wish they would put different rolls every so often to change it up.
My favorite sushi place in town
Favourite sushi place in town! Never had a problem with my orders, the fish always tastes delicious and fresh. Everything Ive tried here has been fantastic
Terrible!! Super fishy tasting and smell.. all the chicken ball type things were just breading and sauce.. Anything with filling was just the outside. We thought we would give this place a chance as we usually go to Barrie..we definitely will not be back.
Koi Sushi is an excellent spot for take out, dine in, and all you can eat authentic Asian cuisine. The food is always fresh, tasty, and served with a smile. SAVE 10% when you pay with cash. Outside of Toronto eateries, this is my #1 choice for sushi and sashimi. And if youre into deep-fried rolls, their AK47 is a must try! Kid-friendliness: The staff are so friendly and patient. I have been bringing my now teenagers since they were very young. Staff have given them gifts like origami birds and candies, and make my kids feel very special. They offer options for kids to get them to try new things.
Food was ok, service was not so good.
I have been going to Koi Sushi for a couple of years now and my recent experience was so so disappointing. Their food used to be so full of flavour and great portions and it is now fishy, not fresh and TINY portions. The attached picture is one of the pieces of sashimi in an order. Not to mention it was SO overpriced. Will not be going back and warning others to do the same
The food was not good, very small portions and the service was okay. I was very disappointed with the food as it didn t have flavour. For what I got, it was extremely over priced. I would not recommend anyone to go there!
I usually dont complain often when I go to an all-you-can-eat sushi but this one catches my attention. My family and I arrived around 9:20 pm for dinner and we only were able to order 2 orders off the menu. The quality of the sushi was the worse that I had ever seen and tried in my whole life. To be honest, if you go to Costco, you will be getting the same food that I got there at a cheaper price. I dont recommend this location. Service is bad and the food is worse. $100 wasted for a box of PC frozen hors d oeuovres and disgusting sushi that doesnt even stay together.
I come here at least once a year. I love the selection. Brought somebody here for their first sushi experience. We got a wide selection of items including udon, dumplings, eel Maki rolls, sashimi, salmon hand rolls, yam tempura, green tea ice cream, deep fried banana, etc. They enjoyed it. Thank you for that.
Excellent sushi paired with excellent Service. A weekly visit for our household that is always as good as the first time we had it. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats on site
Going to Koi sushi with my family on weekends. Its delicious, the food is high-quality, the staff is friendly, and the service is fast and good. I highly recommend this restaurant !
Ordered off menu. Also offers all you can eat. Super cute decorations and atmosphere. Food
Excellent service and great dood
The food was amazing. I did the combo number two. Everything on it was delicious. Super refreshing, fresh and well tasting The service was also phenomenal, very attentive. This is a spot Ill definitely come back to
Delicious food! It worth the visit. If you pay cash you get a discount. We ve been there twice for all you can eat dinner and had great experiences! Food
Took awhile to be seated then 10 min to actually take are drink order wasnt busy at all the waitress was snotty and impatient
Worst food. Sushi rice is thick and chicken skewers burnt.
Great food
Awful ppl. You would think one would learn how to do better after Covid. Nope. Just horrid service. I regret giving them another chance.
For the past few years, we have frequented your restaurant regularly. Tonight we came and saw that it was busy, however decided to wait. Clearly they were short staffed. After 20 minutes of waiting (with no one else in line) we were not spoken to once! No one said hello or Ill be with you in a moment! NOTHING! The female waitress didnt even look our way but was observant of the people paying their bill during and after we arrived and then would bus tables. The male server looked at me twice but would just walk by and not say anything. So we left. Regardless of how good your food was, customer service is critical. I do understand how busy and perhaps overwhelming a busy restaurant is as I too am in the hospitality industry. I WOULD NEVER IGNORE MY CUSTOMERS! You lost two regular customers tonight who will never return and would gladly drive to Barrie for sushi than to be treated how we were tonight! Good luck! You can do better
Its a nice little all you eat, sushi place. Decent quality, for the price point. The service is prompt and friendly. We were their for lunch, and the absence of Sashimi and soft shelled crab on the menu was disappointing. The crab that was on the menu was simulated. I believe these issues are sorted on the dinner menu, but the price point jumps, too.
Take sushi off your menu! If someone had never had sushi and stumbled into your fake sushi resteraunt it could turn them off REAL sushi for ever. Really canned Salmon in a salmon roll !!! All you can eat ? At least make it edable. The high reviews and photos are obviously fake just like your sushi.
The customer service is terrible! Went with my son who wanted all you can eat I was not up to it since I just came from the dentist. I was going to order off the menu but because I didn t want all you can eat my son and I couldn t sit at the same table! On top of that only one other customer in the restaurant so if they were so concerned about us possible sharing they could have watched as they usually do filling up your water glass a hundred times. Will not go back!
Ive been going there since I was 16 Im 21 now and the last 5 times I been there Me and my nana have gotten majorly sick. We ordered the orillia roll and the The salmon was not smoked at all. I went there again yesterday to see if they had better food now and no now I just threw up 3 times and my stomach hurts like hell and my Nana is the same. Were going to the doctors today to see what the problem is. But if its food poisoning we will be reporting that. Ive already had health problems I dont Need to add to it.
The best sushi in the world only need a fey to get full.
Hidden gem for sure. As a longtime market lover I m glad I ventured in here.
Always a go to for take out every time we ve gotten it they are huge portions and such fresh ingredients! Highly recommend! Fav sushi spot in orillia
Very good all you can eat sushi. Recommended
Great sushi/food. Nice to have a good place like this in Orillia :)
Fantastic service and food, theres a wide variety of options for everyone. The menu doesnt have descriptions for every item, however there are sheets at almost every table to explain whats in some of the less obvious rolls. My hubby and I go here at least once a month for date night
Good price, Great food. Family owned. Fresh and tasty. Very attentive. Parking: Plenty of parking, few spots right in front, lots at side.of business. Food : 5/5 |
Best sushi
Food was average. Service was not great. Food was forgotten and we were never told what was arriving. Eventually we hit the time limit and felt like we were rushed out even though we were still getting our food. Id rather get sushi from a grocery store.
Not bad food. A bit pricey.
We ordered Green Dragon and Black Dragon, they both tasted the same and almost stale.. The Philadelphia rolls hardly had creamcheese or fish in them. The mango roll was not edible, stale mango wrapped in seaweed with one broken roll already. Avocado was not fresh at all, it seemed like these rolls were in the fridge overnight. It seemed they did not care at all about the food they serve. I also didnt think it was possible to have a bad spring roll, they tasted very bland, stale, cold and came with packaged plum sauce. Worst sushi Ive had in a while.
Love it here. Really good value and doesnt fall apart like when I eat it from the other place in town.
Very helpful staff, helped us navigate the complex menu. Unfortunately some anti maskers showed up for a pickup order. They created a dispute, Unfortunately the staff was placed in a difficult position. We would have preferred the staff to have been more assertive with these jerkes.....but Im sure they dont make enough to be bouncers. Food was great!
Excellent place and professional and understanding people. The food is well prepared and delicious.
It had really good eel and the wait time even during the dinner rush was pretty good
Great service! Great food! We frequent Koi sushi often and have never had a bad experience! Highly recommended!
Great service
Disappointing dine in service.. the service was really bad and the food was not great. I took a chance and ate here despite the reviews.. oh well. They are super stingy with their wasabi and pickled ginger here. The server will come back once in a while and you have to ask multiple times for a menu. I most likely will never come back here again. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for authentic sushi
Great All you can eat sushi place in orillia
DELICIOUS! Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and fast. Great for an affordable lunch date! We will come back!
Good food. All you can eat within an hour. The yummy rolls and crab rolls are a must try.
Such good food! Great for bigger numbers!
Our favourite sushi place! Fantastic food and service!!
The all you can eat sushi was so good. Huge selection of deliciousness! Freshly made and quick to serve us. Great service as well. Come hungry!!
Bad service. Majority of the food is bland!
Love Koi Sushi!!! Good bang for your buck & super yummy food!
Let me tell you the story of a hungry couple. We had dinner plans, first place we tried was mysteriously closed. We pivot and go for Koi Sushi, we arrive to a random line of confused patrons. Are you here for pickup? Waiting on a seat? Buying tickets to a concert? Who the hell knows. Luckily the staff of one person was busy doing everything while the remaining staff ignored the growing line of confused people. Who wants customers anyway, theyll just ruin the vibe of this former insurance office turned restaurant. Eventually we get seated, right where Ol Gil use to dial up his customers and sell them un-needed insurance policy upgrades. So basically the corner office. The vibes not great in here, but everyone looks pretty happy as they chow down on a mix of Chinese food, and Chinese sushi. This food pairing usually means a menu with too many options and not enough quality. We struggle to wave down the single employee, in a room of 16 people, this was tough somehow. We order, then attempt to make a change to said order, this began the chaos of oh this customer wants to help us and correct their error? no thank you, wed rather make you the wrong food and look puzzled that you dont eat it. We ended up with several dishes we had to abandon. Anyway this story is boring me to even write it. This is the crappiest excuse of a restaurant. Train your staff to be friendly, let a customer change their order (before it enters the kitchen), get some ambience, any type of lighting to set a vibe, add some music, not just CP24 news loops and the brightest lights possible. Id say try another sushi place but Orillia lacks a quality option.
Great food and service, my new favourite restaurant in Orillia.
Happy enough with our last visit but you can clearly see that they are struggling with COVID and inflation. Signs up prominently displaying a 1 hr / 1.5 hr time limits in your visit and while their website says $22.99 per adult the Friday night price was actually $32.99. That said, the food was really good, the service was friendly, and they were quick to bring out your orders. No foot dragging to eat up that 1.5 hr visit. Its just ashame that their prices are increasing so much over time.
Have had take out twice now and I have never had better. It is so fresh and amazing, this is definitely my go to place when I am going thru Orillia.
Really disappointed with the decline in quality and service, truly. Koi Sushi (before COVID lockdowns) used to be my go-to for work outings. While the food was never exceptional, the prices suited cheap and adequate sushi and warranted return visits. Even during the lockdowns I was happy with the take-out. Previous prices were roughly ~$40 for two people. When lockdown was lifted I decided to offer my patronage - only to be met with appalling service and food; nothing like I had remembered it being. Firstly, the service. Koi Sushi has hired on more staff than they previously had. These new hires are pitiful and are frequently seen wandering - yet will not come over to serve even after making direct eye-contact. Secondly, the food quality itself has gone from modest to unbearable. Ive included a photo of some tempura which was oily. Outside of that, my partner took a bite out of a piece of crab tempura only to find that it was still sealed in its plastic wrapper (as displayed in the picture). This was horrific. The packaged crab had been carelessly tossed in the tempura batter and deep-fried. and finally, after recovering from the horror of the tempura, I got up to pay. When I was told the price my jaw quite literally dropped. I had to ask whether or not we had the correct bill. For two people (myself and my partner), the all-you-can-eat sushi meals came to over $75. Completely unacceptable and unjustified for the quality of service and product. With the costs as high as they are and a clear decline in respect for the consumers, I cannot recommend Koi Sushi and will be avoiding it in the future.7
My husband and I frequented Koi before the pandemic. We ve been back several times since and it s always great. Good selection, kind and helpful staff, and great food.
Loved the food and service.
Love how the rolls and maki are still bite sized! Delicious.
Best sushi in town, the food is always good
Excellent food and service. Will definitely be back!
Great little place! The food was awesome, the quantity and quality was perfect! My gf got Udon Seafood Stir-fry and I got teriyaki chicken.. bothe happy with our choices. Would definitely stop by again if passing through the area.
Food is always delicious and plentiful!!!
End of lunch charged dinner price food was good but expensive.
It is just as good as I remember!
Went for lunch today. Great food, and they were very quick getting our orders to us. Polite and helpful staff. We have eaten there several times in the past and will continue when we have a sushi craving.
Delicious sushi, great quality, friendly staff, quick service.
Food was great, took a bit of time to get seated but once down the service was fast.
Grey salmon not sure looks too risky to even try not sure its worth the time in the bathroom
Bland. Tasteless. The plastic fork I ate with had more taste than the food. $40 for lunch that was inedible. We ate a few bites of each of the three things ordered and threw the rest in the trash. What a waste of time, effort, and money.
So fresh and delicious. The staff was great as well. . We will definitely be going back.
Friendly staff and great affordable sushi! We love going here. We typically go every Friday for take out or dine in. Love this place!
There are few places like this, there is excellent customer service
Best sushi around and friendly staff
Food was absolutely delicious! Best sushi I ve had
Absolutely amazing sushi, hot fresh full of flavour, friendly staff and great prices
Very high quality, fresh food. Every plate brought out was made with care. Friendly staff and great pricing on the all-you-can-eat menu. Strongly recommend if youre in the area.
Really enjoyed eating here. everything was full of flavour, even the few items i was not fond of. would 100% recommend to anyone wanting All you can eat sushi/oriental food.
Wonderful service, Great food, must try place.
Only had sushi twice in my life and this place will be added as a regular date night spot for me and my wife...
do not come here my boyfriend threw up several times and food was parley made undercooked chishen and extremely dry
Taste good.
Decor is ok but nothing fancy. Staff was fine but once again not what I would call spectacular. Food was good lots of variety. Little pricey but considering its an all you can eat not bad. I say check it for yourself
The food is good, the staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable
Great food, excellent service and fast to table!
Food is always freshly made and good quality. All you can eat option is nice if you are hungry but a la carte options are more economical.
Food is good but staff is probably the COLDEST Ive ever seen We have been here numerous times and staff is rude and unprofessional. Its like they think they are doing you a favor by helping you. Food is good but usually we head for Barrie instead. I think we will continue to do that. Learn some customer service skills.
Great food
Orillias unkept secret. Absolutely amazing, food is always great and prices are very reasonable. You have to try the Tempura.
This restaurant IS SO GOOD!!! Service is great and welcoming. The food is absolutely perfect and worth the drive definitely a place I d love to frequent Parking: Great parking Kid-friendliness: Super welcoming to children
Not my cup of tea good service
Too pricey for the quality of food
Wonderful fresh sushi in a very clean and friendlier place. BEST GREEN DRAGON ROLL ANYWHERE! We love out of town, but we will make a special trip for this place!
Food is below par and service is not good
Love the food here and their AYCE menu.
Love the AYCE. Great food.
Food was Medicore, lunch special was 20 each for 2 of us but we didnt finish a couple items because we didnt like them and they charged us $17 extra. A bit excessive. Wont be back.
We were really craving sushi and have only had not-so-good sushi in Orillia. So we decided to try Koi Sushi - holy cow!!! Not only is the fish delicious and fresh ... even the soy sauce is totally delish. Thank you so much Koi for making sushi a possibility in this town
We love sushi and we were delighted to find this little gem! Great fresh food, fast and friendly service! We will definitely be back soon!!
Always so yummy!
Great all you can eat Birthday gathering .
Good Sushi, very nice customer service. We enjoyed our family meal.
Food was sub par. Seemed like reheated tempura veg, soggy rolls, miso soup with way too much salt, jasmine tea make with tap water? Stomach ache for desert. Poor service and communication
Really high quality sushi, and good service. Really enjoyed this restaurant.
I had takeout on a Friday night and the rolls were very good and fresh, the flavours were good. I love that they have veggie rolls. Also the salmon sashimi had lots of flavour and tasted super fresh.
Very nice food and service.
Always a delicious experience and such an extensive menu for the all-you-can-eat. Definitely worth checking out for its price.
Nice place but because I forgot to bring my mask instead of providing me with the free mask she said if you need a mask it will be $1 and did not care if I leave the restaurant because of this behavior and they loose a valuable customer.
Great sushi
Discrimination at its finest
Perfect other than the maskless nuisance that showed up and made life hard for the owners and all the actual respectful customers abiding by our current ruleset for the pandemic. The lady in question left a review saying this place discriminated against her but I can attest she was the one who caused a scene that made everyone uncomfortable. Rolls werent very packed together. Kept falling apart. Would of been a 5 star if they were. Everything tasted great. Service was spectacular. Ill be back.
Delicious sushi! The crunchy rolls were perfect, and the spring rolls were amazing.
Best quality of sushi in the area unless you are looking to drive to a large city
The quality of the food here is amazing, absolutely love all of the options
Great experience nice and fresh
It was great that they were open til 10pm on a Sunday. Some of the fish in the party tray I ordered was not very fresh. Just about all of the avocado in the sushi was going bad, with brown parts on it. They did a substitution on part of the party tray, and said they couldnt do a partial substitution, which makes me wonder if they have prepackaged sushi or perhaps they were somehow trying to avoid contamination. Overall, mainly due to the freshness of the food I received, I dont see me coming back to this location.
Clean, fresh, friendly and amazing service. Best sushi in Simcoe County
Very tasty, nice portions & service... Even offered us a 10% discount when paid in cash for all we could eat. Thank you!
Food was good service was friendly
Food and staff were excellent the ascetic my not be perfect but the eating and staff are so enjoy great food fast and friendly service at an affordable price you will not be disappointed
Food has always been really good here , I find the dinner price is a little high but for lunch it is good, I took one star off strictly because of the ambiance its not a cozy feeling restaurant more about get in eat and get out . The staff was super friendly as always.
I have been to Koi Sushi multiple times. Not a fancy place, but the service and the food is very good.
At first I thought this sushi was going to be good because of the reviews but this food was not good at all. The sashimi looked like it was bought at the grocery store. The shrimp and calamari also tasted old. Then I go to pay and get charged 35$ for this food.
Not the best sushi
