We ordered the Buffalo Boneless Wing Poutine, Popcorn Chicken and Fries. Poutine is really good as to be expected. Popcorn chicken on its own left much to be desired, didn't really taste like anything, and the fries are pretty standard (still solid). Really charming interior and friendly service.
Came with my daughter and the amount of Grease that was left all over our poutine and progys was insane! It was over powering the gravy my 6 year old wouldn’t even eat it!
For a first time poutiner I thought it was ok! I just got the vegetarian one (mushroom gravy) and cheese, so nothing special. I heard from multiple people who shared with me that it wasn’t as good as other places and that the cheese should have melted. The perogies were great though!!

This was my kids first time ever trying poutine and they loved it! We tried the original and bacon cheeseburger as recommended by the employee. Both were DELICIOUS!!! The food quality was top notch. We will definitely be back!

Noticed this place on a ride through town a few days ago and made a mental note to stop in next time I'm in town to try it out. Wish I never did. Stopped in today and tried the double pork poutine, onion rings, and a Coke Zero for $29. The ONLY taste from both items was burnt oil, literally all I could taste. Very few cheese curds, minimal gravy, decent amount of bacon and pulled pork. You should be able to taste these different flavours and not just burnt oil!! Other than that the portion sizes were generous and the place had good seating and enjoyed the music while I ate. Oh, and under the toilet seat looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Very disappointing

This place is the best spot for a poutine in town
Walked into Smokeys to try out their brand new big juicy ass sandwiches. When my order arrived the sandwich looked great but when I bit into it it was raw in the middle. I took it back to get a fresh one upon receiving my second burger and biting into it. That too was also raw. It wasnt until the third time that I got a properly cooked chicken burger but I had to to argue with the person making the food to leave it in the deep fryer for longer. He told me theres nothing he can do and that he has to pull it out when the timer beeps. I told him I dont care what you say. Youre going to leave it in there for longer. He did and I got a fully cooked chicken. Patty. Do better Smokies
Their putines are tasty, and the toppings and size are generous. Also, they have a lot of different options and combinations. This place is easily comparable with good poutine places in Montreal.

Had Smokes in Niagara Falls and it was decent so wanted to try the local branch. Soggy fries and dirty tables although no other customers. Expensive considering. Was not impressed and wont be going back. Dont recommend. Get some down the street at any other restaurant. The fish and chip/ ice cream shop has a killer poutine and half the price.
Very overpriced for frozen fries. 11.99 for a small stack of frozen fries a couple cheese curds a some gravy is crazy! And the big crunching sandwich was smaller than a junior chicken at McDonalds. Had red rot on the lettuce and was smaller then the bun. Also a but under cooked. Definitely wont be returning. On top of it all the wooden forks are horrible for trying to eat with

Friendly staff and lots of awesome options! Got a wow size buffalo chicken poutine and it did not disappoint! The portion was huge! Fed two of us and still have left overs! The taste was definitely a 10/10 easily! So glad to have more options and variety coming to Orillia! Would rather spend $20.00 here for one huge and delicious poutine than opt for mediocre meals at other fast food chains that are subpar at best! Orillia has needed better food options and you guys did not disappoint!

Great poutine. Amazed by the sheer number of poutine combinations. We had the chorizo, bacon, onion, mushrooms poutine and it was excellent. Parking: Free parking after 5:30 pm
Ordered your classic poutine today, the portion is definitely large but unfortunately you likely won t want to eat it all anyways. Fries are 2 stars, curds didn t melt, gravy is lacking flavour. Very warm inside the restaurant for the season, and no baby/toddler seats available.
Great Fries and Poutines!!! I prefer the original. But the other ones I have had has been very good as well Kid-friendliness: Fries, Gravy.... I would say yes
