My fiancé and I celebrated our anniversary tonight at Moxies in Orleans. The pot stickers are TO DIE FOR! We had Carolyn and Jocelyn as our waitresses and it was super sweet to see Jocelyn helping Carolyn out because of her pregnancy. Journey was also a big help when we requested that our ribs be replaced. The ONLY thing I would say we were disappointed about was that we had been asked on the phone when reserving if there was a special occasion and we said yes, it was our anniversary and the hostess mentioned that she would write it down. It would have been nice to have had that acknowledged. Overall fantastic service :)

Moxies on Innes Rd in Orleans is a great spot for a few drinks at the bar or dinner in a booth or table. The atmosphere is second to none.

I had the New York steak If you cant cook a steak or its a cheap steak dont put it on the menu menu its was not good Food : 1/5

I would recommend this place for its atmosphere. I loved the circular booths that made it feel semi-private. Our server was very attentive, checking in on us every 10 to 15 minutes. But it was a quiet night (around 22:30), so maybe that explained why. Now the bad news: the food was not particularly great. I shared an appetizer with my friend (I forget the name of it, but it was similar to orange chicken), and while the taste was acceptable, the texture was not. Perhaps it was a bit overdone, because certain bits were hard to chew. We also shared some garlic fries; they were pretty good. The worst part of trying to pick something to eat was that I was in shock at the prices of everything. There was practically nothing under $20. In fact, many of their hamburger dishes cost $22. Its a sign of the times, with high inflation and all, but I just cant justify eating out anymore.

We came here yesterday as a group of 9 for our son s BD. When I called to reserve, someone forgot to inform me that we would have two separate tables. I was quite disappointed of this seating arrangement. After speaking with the manager, she offered us two appetizers on the house, we settled as best as we could in our two booths. From then on, everything was perfect. Our server Steven, was fantastic. Throughout the meal, the service was first class and quick, considering we had a toddler and a baby in our party. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The portions were quite generous. We won t hesitate to come back.

Reliably among the best chain restaurants available in Canada, right up there with the Keg. A consistently good level of service and very good food, only lacking in originality.

We recently celebrated my sisters 50th birthday here for dinner, this restaurant goes above and beyond. We were able to leave our cake in their fridge in the afternoon before the party started and leave decorations that the hostess kindly put up for us before we arrived! The food was great, service was awesome and everyone truly enjoyed themselves. Thank you Moxies for making my sisters bday extra special! Vegetarian options: Great vegan options!

Popping on a Wednesday night

Our server Steve is great, nice personality, beautiful smile, sense of humor and he knows the menu very well. Hes attentive to to customer needs. Keep him hes very good.

Was there Sunday, June 23, 2024. Party of 4. Restaurant manager was very accommodating when we asked to move to a quieter table (one of us has hearing issues). The meals were great. Service was excellent except our waitress always called us love or my love. No, just no. I aint your love. Why do waiters do that!?

Wine Wednesdays are the best had the best server and bartender. 10/10 experience, and only the Orléans location has that amazing vibe!

Excellent ! Small downside I was at this place for my party we brought a cake saying whose party it is! Hold ! Not strong! I dont know why not done by our waitress who served us properly.

Dearest gentle readers, let me clock it real quick, I wish I could leave a zero to this heathen . The waiter was so shiesty giving me dirty looks left and right and took an hour just to deliver my drinks. Salty fries that could kill your grandma faster than her high cholesterols. Lowkey check on them waiters tho they seem miserable!

It was quite noisy this time. Lots of people having fun.

Service was a little slow, considering it wasnt all that busy. Server was friendly though. I also thought the beer selection was pretty limited. I get that beers in a fancy place after going to be $12 or $13 but its worse when its a Coors Light or Stella.

Always good food at this Moxies. A nice place to celebrate significant events.

Beautiful day for lunch with friends today. Our server Kami was attentive, and recommended excellent food choices. I was very happy with my Cashew chicken wraps.

I came here in May with my mother for Mothers day. We sat outside and had a great meal. Chicken sandwich and truffle fries were amazing. Our waitress was really great; friendly, professional, and willing to accommodate any requests. An overall excellent experience. Thanks!

Lost a star from my previous post. On my most recent visit my white chocolate brownie was very dry. That dessert is one of the biggest reasons I choose to eat at Moxies. Service was fantastic as always.

The hostess who is answering the phone tonight (April 24, 6:55pm) has the worst customer service skills i ve ever experienced. I called and was trying to book a table and she said she couldn t hear me twice and then I went to another spot to see if she could hear me better and she said Okay no and then hung up on me. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour, I don t understand the training that happens in this location to allow for such poor service. But that tells me enough, I ll be eating elsewhere

Very good, good food and excellent bilingual service

Good food, good service. Sitting on the bar side get ready to scream throughout the entire meal. Music is way too loud, can barely hear people talking at your table.

Just wondering why the hostesses seat Black diners near the washroom/kitchen. We went here recently and another Black couple were seated in the same area. Is racism this casual at Moxies? Never again. Sorry this is not 1954. You dont value our money. We wont dine here. And we still gave the server an excellent tip because her service was excellent. But we wont come here again.

Wine Wednesday is the best

Just left moxies. Went in and was seated right away.. Nobody came to take our order or even acknowledge us while we were sitting there. We walked out after 25 minutes of nobody taking our order. The least one of the few waiters walking by could have done was acknowledge us and tell us they were busy and would be a bit of a wait... But we got nothing.. Came to Boston Pizza and the service here is a million times better!! Do better, Moxies!!

Very good steak!

Its a nice place but a little overrated. Atmosphere is nice, waitress polite and service timely. However the food appeared as if it had been cooked for some time and kept under a heat lamp until someone ordered it. Drinks were ok but the meal a little pricey at over 200, not including tip. Wheelchair accessibility: Electric door openers. However a person helping would make it easier getting through the 2 doors so close together.

Food was so-so for the price point. Service was insincere and merely adequate. Not sure if they are trying for hip, edgy or cool, but they miss the mark in how they have their female wait staff dress.

Super great place! Quite the atmosphere! Staff are there to serve. Extremely well run! Had the filet steak on my last visit and comparable to any high end! The rest of the menu is varied with some varied tastes for the palette. Recommended.

Went in for a birthday gathering. The hostess staff was pleasant. The server assigned to our table was rude from the minute we sat down. Little to no attention to us as we waited for our party to arrive. Once we were all seated the server provided little to no customer service, and showered little interest in interacting with us. Food was good. Seems like the menu had changed a bit and we were all not overly impressed, however it was prepared well. Towards the end the server cleared the plates and then disappeared. We waited for over 20 min to get the bill. We ended up going to the hostess area to have her flag down our server. Overall a terrible experience and will not be going back to this location.

Went to Moxies for my mom s 70th and everyone was absolutely disappointed by the food. Here is the portion of chicken and ribs that included a breast and ribs, my cousin got ann even smaller piece not to mention everything was cold and they even added brown lettuce. There is a reason why I have only been once before. Absolute rip off and would rather McDonald s.

I dont come here often but the manager Evan not only runs a tight shift but this place is so clean he keeps everyone in place Ive never met somebody whos so dedicated to the job honestly it would be a loss if they lost this man nothing but respect

For a $40 meal that was supposed to be a chicken breast and ribs, I got chicken the size of a nugget. I complained, they took it back and basically gave me a chicken breast that was cut in half, and then split down the middle and opened to look bigger than it was. I left almost satisfied but ate 2 hours later! They were stingy on the mashed potatoes as well. Potatoes cost nothing, why be stingy on them as a restaurant?

I was at moxies on Saturday at lunch time. I had Evan as my server. I was immediately greeted and asked what I wanted to drink. I then received co stand but not over bearing service. He was friendly and answered all questions quickly. I would definitely recommend moxies again.

Visited this location on Saturday at 7pm. Both my friend and I ordered the new chicken zen bowl that was on the menu. First bite in, tasted extremely burnt. When telling the waitress, we told her that we d keep the meal as we were in a hurry, but that this feedback should go straight to the kitchen. Manager came out to check on our meals as well, told him the same thing. I finished about half the meal when my friend finished completed his. They tried to accommodate us as best they can, they gave us 50% off our meals. I wouldn t recommend getting this bowl until they learn to get it right though, just wasn t it.

Weve visited Moxies Orleans a couple of times with our twin toddlers, and weve been pleasantly surprised by the exceptional help and support demonstrated by the staff. Theyre quick to prepare food for our twins, allowing us to enjoy our meals promptly while the girls savor their meals. But its not just about the family aspect; when it comes to the food and service for us, its been consistently on point. The staff is kind and provides quick assistance. A big thank you to everyone at Moxies Orleans, especially to the bosser who took the time to vacuum after our little ones. We truly appreciate all of you.

The place was ridiculously loud. We practically needed to scream to communicate with the server. The food was pretty bad as well. The pasta was overcooked and bland. My brothers fries were the best part of the meal.

I was here two weeks ago with a large group and ordered the tuna taco app to share. All 3 people who ate the app ended up getting food poisoning and throwing up an hour or so after we left. Called the manager to notify them of the situation and was told i would get a call back from the GM.. no call back even tho the table spent well over 1250$.

The food was very succulent and the atmosphere was great. Aya was an excellent server and her customer service skills were definitely exemplary. Will definitely be coming back!

Visited for our anniversary dinner and my wifes steak was a little under cooked asked to have it put back on for a moment and a new plate was out in 5 minutes, Worth the wait excellent food!

Blackened Mahi Mahi with chorizo is amazing, I had it a few weeks ago. Great customer service & good food most of the time, but cocktails vary on taste depending on who the bartender is. Parking: Good amount of parking spots.

We went to enjoy a nice lunch with my husband and our son and his wife.We were welcomed warmly as we entered the restaurant. Our hosted seated us and was very pleasant, we scanned the drink menu which has so many great choices .When the drinks came they were all prepared with care and attention to detail.The food was also very good and also was very well presented.We had a great time.I would highly reccomend this spot for sure.Its a very comfortable and clean dinning room,the service is fantastic, the staff are great the atmosphere is lovely and the food was brought out hot and well presented.Lots of parking and wheelchair accessible. Ordered a Tuna Poké bowl for dinner. I LOVE a good bowl. Marinated ahi tuna on top of a large bowl with a base of cauliflower rice, fresh veggies, greens, shitake mushrooms, soft boiled egg, a spicy mayo and sesame avocado. It was simply delicious and will order this dish again. It is a generous amount of food.

Service was great and our server even brought out a dessert for the birthday girl! Thanks so much!

March 2023 The Wednesday night out with friends was enjoyable. They had been here before, so it was their recommendation. All was good with the service. We all enjoyed our meals, and Wednesday night is half price bottles of wine. The restaurant was really busy, probably because of this. I believe there is a daily special, and happy hour deals. Check their website or call them for details. Would recommend dining/drinking here. HAPPY HOUR Weekdays from 2 - 5, and 9 - close. The place was quiet, but we quite liked that. Lots to choose from the Happy Hour menu of food and drinks, and the regular menu items are still available. The service was great.

Had my husbands birthday here. They were wonderful and very accommodating. Our cake make dropped off the cake a day early accidentally and they were more than happy to store it for us. The salad wraps and burgers were great.

We were quickly brought to our choice of table. Our server was very pleasant, taking our orders and returning quickly with our dishes. The food was excellent. The only drawback was that the music was far too loud for the size of space.

I don t understand how Moxies has survived. Service is poor. Food is never of great quality especially when you look at prices. Customer service is also quite poor. After being serve a bad meal, the manager didn t even offer to pick up the tab for my husbands appetizer, but was told the green tea would be on the house! Seriously! Tea! Hot water and a 50 cent bag.

Came in with a friend for dinner, we sat at the bar and ordered drinks and a smashed avocado dip to start. The appetizer took over 40 minutes to come out, and when I asked the bartender about the appetizer he said it ll be out shortly with an attitude. Shortly after the appetizer came out, we ate it and the bartender still hasn t taken our main course order, so we paid the bill and went down the street to lone star where we were given an excellent service

Excellent meals and service from Destiny at our very nice table on the patio was just right for a sunny day! I had the Thai chicken salad and my bride had chicken lettuce wraps. We were both very happy with our food. My reflux won t let me eat garlic, so they made the chicken special and used a vinaigrette w/o garlic, which was very much appreciated!

The steak that I had was just not tasty and I was very dissatisfied. Not worth the price.

I was there on July 22, around 2:30 pm Their guacamole was not fresh, dark, tasted overnight, and was full of water. Their burgers was half cold half warm, cold because of the vegetables warn because of the meat. Waste of money. Food : 1/5

It was a fun peaceful meal and our server Gabrielle was so nice and joyful. The summer menue was great. 5 stars all around. Parking: Cleans, spacy ans secure.

My wife and went for happy hour on a weekday. The happy hour menu is great. Jade was our sever and she was great and attentive.

My friends and I went for wine Wednesday the 16th and our server on the dining room was amazing. This being said the host were giving us dirty looks and gave us attitude when we asked if they could help us bring our wine and food on the bar side. I had ordered a brownie and there was a piece of the ice cream container in my brownie. The manager on duty came to our table and was very cooperative and kind. His name was Fillipo I believe and he made out experience amazing. My bill was taken care of and we were offered another bottle of wine. I would ve given 3 stars before interacting with him but once he spoke with our table it immediately made our experience 10x better. Thank you again Fillipo

s Service was good... patio lovely except that the music is too loud! We decided to eat inside where it wasnt as loud... Ordered the soup and salad ... small bowl of tomato soup was very good, caesar salad ok $17... I also ordered the truffle fries... what a disappointment..! A saucer full of frozen fries coated with parmesan cheese for $11.. Ive had truffle fries in Calgary at a chain out west and they were so delicious... these were a huge disappointment and waste of money.. Wont be returning .. I need more than atmosphere to return to a restaurant...

I am rarely in the orleans area for anything but went to wine Wednesday here with some friends. What an experience! Seemed like the whole town, from the teenagers to my grandma was at this Moxies. The bar service side of the restaurant was very busy and lots going on. The wait staff did a great job helping everyone out and making sure food and drinks kept making it to the tables. The food was good but the wine Wednesday/social hour deals were incredible. I don t think I ve ever seen my bill at the end of a night and thought, that s so low. But here is was thinking exactly this. Also their house wine is good!! An awesome experience and will definitely be looking to do it again in the future!!!

Have been to moxies several times over the past few weeks, Have been served by Evan countless times and have yet to be disappointed. His elegancy and charisma, and sleight of hand behind the bar make him a great bartender, let alone a great server. Would recommend, and will be back in the future.

Served a party of 10 and there was no wait at all! All of our food was delicious. Service was great! Our server was really kind. It was our wedding day and they gave us dessert :) it was a lovely surprise. We were all very happy. Id highly recommend.

Ive been going to this Moxies for years but what I never understood is how come not one of the servers has ever said hello to me. Tonight I had booked a party of 17 and talked about this to 5 buddies and they all concurred and even one of them said Ricky Ive been coming here at least twice a week for 6 years and still not one of the servers has ever said hello then two of the wives heard us talking and they said they will only talk to you when they serve you. I go to the Blair location once a month and the servers upstairs, who previously served me, will say an elaborate hello even if they arent the one serving me. I worked in Calgary for months, went to Moxies and again, always well greated and recognized. Anyhow, I used to go to the Innes rd location at least twice a week but now I go maybe one ever month and a half. Its not like we are cheap, we dont need money, we simply like to spend it. Dont get me wrong, the food and service is great but the recognition and courteous appreciation for being a repetitive customer is not. Parking: Its safe and close to the restaurant

Their Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo is quite good but price wise its not worth it. Definitely you get a good vibe in this restaurant but I would rather choose the price and food quality over the ambience. Its definitely a good chill place indeed.

You have exceptional service, and the atmosphere is grand. The food is mediocre at best. The hi light of my burger and fries, were the fries. Bun was dry, garnishes were fresh, but the bacon was burnt to the point it was backened. The meat was overcooked and dry. My friend had ordered the steak medium rare. It mooed when it reached the table. It was blue rare. The chicken my other friend had ordered was burnt. Sorry, but your kitchen needs to get it together. Front house was great. Id like to say next time, but there wont be one.

I went last Thursday with a friend, and it s not my first visit and not my first review. The steak oh my God was heavenly by all means I could ve order another one if I wasn t full , I still trying to figure out the juicy taste and grilled spices . The appetizers were yummy too . And the drinks.
