Kozy is a family place. Take your friends, couple or even not really friends and the environment and good natured staff might convince them youre not as unfriendly as you seem In other words, this place is great for a relaxing time, good company and just plain good. They serve a basic set of breakfast type of dishes and thats it. Nothing particular about that but, again, thats not why you enjoy it. Its the atmosphere, the smiles, the hot coffee in a winters morning, your fellow diners, the layout of the place that takes you to a good sensation. Youll get what Im saying when you get there.

Food was great and service was even better. Christine was our server, but all of the staff were very attentive. I got the chicken and waffles, which was delicious! My brother had the eggs benedict with spinach. Says it s the best one he s every had, and we ve had SO many egg bennys lol. Definitely recommend this place! Can t wait to go back and try the hash brow; apparently it s to die for.

When we were seated, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who took our orders quickly. The food didn t take long to arrive and we were surprised at the portions, especially with my friends pancakes that were probably 15 cm in diameter! I think it s hard to go wrong with breakfast items, so it s the small things like the staff being diligent with coffee and hot water refills, the washrooms being clean, and my French toast and toast not being burnt that make this experience worth 5 stars.

They have a good Sunday breakfast. Their shredded hashbrowns are very tasty. Good place to go. Sunday they stop taking orders at 1:00PM. Worth getting up a little early. Good little local restaurant in the heart of Orleans. Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheelchair accessibility.

Its ok

This is a nice small breakfast place that keeps things moving from kitchen to table. The serving staff is great and nice to chat with. Breakfast has always hit the spot here, and my last visit was no different. When morning comes too early for me, Cozy Nest is always there to help me out.

Love this restaurant for weekend breakfast or brunch. Good menu, good service and good prices. I think their hollandaise is amazing and love the hash browns. They dont take reservations so if your group is large go early to get a table, you may have a short wait but the entrance is super small so send one person to get your table. Lots of free parking. They take cash or debit only.

Pros: + Great food + Great service & friendly staff + Cheaper than most breakfast places out there Cons: - Limited seating, so you may have to lineup for a bit before you get a table. Overall: Get there early to get a seat (especially on the weekend). Definitely one of my favourite breakfast spots in Ottawa though!

Perfect. There was a warm welcome. Food came quick. It was delicious. What more so you need.

Its like having a family breakfast. Real food I had the eggs benedict with hash browns and I was in my glory. It is the most perfectly prepared eggs benedict I have ever eaten. Fluffy yet crisp English muffin,ham that melted in your mouth and the eggs overloaded with yolk. The hollandaise sauce was oh so very smooth. Perfection.

We went there last week for the first time. I should confess that the food was not exactly what I was looking for. But the ambiance and the staff were magical. Its gonna be our new bruch place from now on!

First time at this restaurant. Ordered take out. I Got home and noticed a slice of French toast missing. Called the restaurant up and they delivered it to my door! With extra sliced too! Service was great. Breakfast was yummy too! Definitely will be going back again.

Kozy Nest? Very much so. Walking into the restaurant feels like walking into your very own home. The staff is so kind and attentive, and the food is exceptional. Highly recommend the cheese & ham omelette.

Great family-run restaurant! Delicious breakfast. Reasonable prices. And they do the little things... Such as the jam and peanut butter being on the table, and the servers bringing coffee and hot water for tea at the same time.

I am incredibly pleased that this place is back up, running, and in the swing of things. It appears that the staff was taken care of during the pandemic as the pre-pandemic staff is all back. Food is still fresh and delicious. Thanks!

My husband likes this restaurant and we never went when I came to Ottawa due to COVID. Then we went for breakfast and was I impressed? O my pancakes, waffles, were so good. And their Kozy omelet was good and very great customer service too. Keep up the good job.

Easily one of, if not, the best breakfast place in Orleans. The food is always spectacluar, the atmosphere is always welcoming and warm, and the service is in my opinion bar none! We have been coming for breakfast almost every Saturday morning for as long as I can remember, and that wont be changing anytime soon.

Have enjoyed Kozy Nest since moving here to Orleans in 2014. Best breakfast around. I sure hope they will reopen soon as they are missed greatly.

Visited Kozy Nest Restaurant on a Saturday. There was a lineup at the door. We had to wait about 10 minutes. It was worth the wait. There were 3 or 4 wait staff working and they were working hard. Once we reached the front of the line, we were seated and our order was taken inside 2 minutes. Food arrived quickly. We had breakfast: eggs, toast, bacon, sausage and hash browns. My friend loves the hash browns. I agree: they are awesome. So was the rest of the food. Kudos to the kitchen staff.

Enjoyed our Sunday Brunch at Kozy Nest today! Chose to visit this place with the recommendation of a colleague that works nearby. FOOD: Fair portions, cooked & presented well! The peameal bacon wasn t too salty, and the home fries were nice, toasts were on point with the perfect amount of butter! AMBIENCE: Casual, homey kind of place that feels like brunch at the cottage. SERVICE: Amazing! Excellent service, prompt, food arrived quickly, and coffee was refilled without being asked. Just be mindful that they only accept Cash/Debit! Would definitely come back when I m in the area again.

This is a lovely breakfast spot for a yummy traditional breakfast. My ham and cheese omelette had a great balance of ham and cheese. My kids love the cinnamon roll and the pancakes with butterscotch chips. Service is cheerful and while it can take a while when busy that just means that you re getting hot food that is freshly made

And theres a reason I often go back to kozy nest, every single breakfast Ive ever had there has been perfect. Nobody can scramble an egg or consistently over easy my eggs like these guys. Best French toast... just like my mom made

I enjoyed this place, its a small venue and the ladies work realitively quick to get your order out. I was dissapointed when I ordered french toast and I was served with table syrup :/ huge dissapointment on my part. Other than that, I wished the eggs benny was with a little thicker slice of peameal/ham, other than that overall good place to be at.

the chicken ham omelet had orange Kraft slices for cheese. I prefer mozzarella so next time Ill ask. the potatoes were white, I prefer mine crispy. staff is amazing though.

We need more places like this. Comfort food that is reasonably priced and served by people who understand customer service. One thing that I would have liked to see is real maple syrup served with my waffles. I would have gladly paid extra for it.

Order the hash brown folks! DO NOT FORGET THE HASH! I came here with my friend for brunch on a Sunday. The place was packed and this looks like a go-to place of most of the locals. Everyone knows everybody. The coffee tastes ok. Typical diner coffee. It s free for the 1st order. 2nd refill is $0.50 I ordered the Kozy Signature Omelette with hash brown, and oh-boy! That hashbrown was the bomb! The omelette was huge and delicious. It s a family owned restaurant so you ll notice the resemblance in all the staffs. I just didn t like the fact that they weren t attentive enough on our table. I had to stand up and grab milk on the other table for my coffee. But overall, food was amazing! Definitely recommended when you re around the area.
