Love there chicken fried rice. They never seem to fail on the food. Best place in orleans.

I have been eating hot and sour soup all my life. I used to order the soup from this restaurant but the last time we got it it was so thick you could eat it with a fork. It was like Jell-O. My husband went in and spoke to them and he said that s the way super supposed to be. I don t think so. Soup is a liquid not a Jell-O form. Very disappointed they must ve changed shifts.

I ordered lunch plate combo with spare ribs and they was a bug in my plate that was on the spare rib. I was extremely disgusted. When returning the food the lady was rude and not even apologize for what took place. Behaved like she did not even give my money back. I also took a picture and brought the plate back to prove it to them that the bug was there. Extremely disappointed.

The beef lunch special was waaay too spicy. Someone has changed the recipe.

Simply amazing food! The egg rolls were nicely spiced and not overly greasy. The wonton soup is probably the best one I have ever had and ejoyed all 6 large wontons. The portions for the Chicken General Tso and Sweet & Sour Chicken balls was very generous. Unlike other Chinese restaurants, I didnt feel bloated and/or sick after eating. The service was great and the lady who served me was very nice. I was surprised I had to ask to add a tip when paying by debit because there was no tip option. There is really not 1 complaint I can find. I am happy I ignored the negative reviews.

Telephoned 15 minutes before closing and was able to pick up my order before they closed. Fast, hot, and delicious! (And it was not a small order.) Note that delivery is only available between 3pm and 9pm.

Atmosphere is none, it s a pickup joint. Service is good they hand you food after taking your call. Food was mediocre, open ended eggs rolls would have been better if they weren t so greasy, and a little raw in the middle.

If there s no delivery after 9pm, then change your add.

We frequently order from Asia Wok and it has become our go-to for Chinese take-out. The porters are perfect, the food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly and grateful for our business.

Takes 40 minutes every time we order. Food is good. A but on the sweet side tho. I have ordered multiple times tho and still like it beef and veggies. The meat seemed like rubber. It was weird

They forgot my order....after calling 3 times they assured my order was on the way....only to have someone call my back 2 hours into order to say they never entered it in their computer....idiots.... my bad too for not making sure they knew that it infact was my order being delivered....Im so angry and hangry....Ill never order Here again

Wanted to find an Orleans area Chinese restaurant to avoid the long travel to our favorites. Saw many good reviews for this place. Dont know why. Maybe because we ordered as soon as they opened, we got yesterdays food. Gave 2 stars only because the food was hot and the large quantity, but It was horrendous and most of the order went in the trash. Could not identify what was in the egg rolls as the only flavor was salt, the ends too hard to chew. The coating on the chicken balls was HARD as a rock, chicken dry. Who cuts vegetables into 3 inch long slabs? Tried to reach out via Facebook to avoid public site but got no response.

Great Chinese takeout on the Orleans area. Had some garlic ribs, chicken balls, and fried rice and did not disappoint. Only had to wait 15 minutes after calling.

My wife and I were in the area and stopped in for lunch, it was so good!! Best combos that Ive had in a long time, the taste of each portion was full and mouth watering! So good, and I look forward to going again!

Open late w/ tons of parking. Vegetarian options as well! From Mixed Vegetables to General Tsos Tofu to just Vegetable Fried Rice if thats what you fancy. We normally order a few combination plates and some side orders of Chicken Soo Guy, General Tsos Chicken, etc... I live in British Columbia, and when i found out that my sons family, living in Ottawa, was ill with Covid i knew i had to do something. So, i found Asia Wok Chinese Food Take-out, and sent soup for 4 to them. Asia Wok was polite, helpful, and easy to deal with. And, i am told, the soup was just the right thing. Thank you Asia Wok, for helping me help my family.

Absolute worst Chinese food ever! I m embarrassed for all the positive reviewers. Clearly, they ve never had better and this place sets the bar for them. Couldn t identify anything in the spring rolls, general tso was flat out awful and in some liquid soup and the bok choy well over cooked. Steamed rice was what I ate, after I fried a couple eggs myself. Avoid at all costs if you have educated tastebuds. Friendly staff is why I gave it 1 star.

I just tried this place for the first time today at my bosses recommendation. He wasnt wrong when he told me this is better than my usual place. Im converted. Im full and its so good I want to keep eating.

What a disappointment. I wish I could review the food but its been 2.5hrs and no food. Called twice with the same run around. Food has left the store, it on its way. The driver is probably held up by issues at another house. Blah blah blah. First time and last time. Never again.

Food is definetly authentic without being too greasy and heavy. Noodles are cooked perfectly, the breaded meat is well fried, and the vegetables are delicious and well done. Probably the best Asian food in Orleans, possibly even Ottawa.

In order to avoid a quick and not warm response on the phone when booking, reserve your meal earlier and you will be amazed at the great service you will get. I love their food and I will continue to buy from them.!!!

Best Chinese food I have had in a long time, and I am very particular and fussy when it comes to food.

When its a good night its very tasty , when its an off night the food can be overly salty, soggy, overcooked or bland depending on what you get. Weeknights seem to be better than weekends on average by a far margin. Weekends seem to have a lot more cooks working and a slew more orders which is probably the reason for the mediocre food. Bottom line though this seems to be the best option for Chinese food in Orleans.

Big portions! Vegetable Cantonese chowmein is my favorite

For 11 years, we have been getting our Chinese takeout from this location on a regular basis. The owners are hard working, kind and engaged people who care about what they are doing. Covid has made their operation very challenging, but they continue to find solutions for their busier times, and I am happy they continue to push forward through all the difficulties. I get lunch here frequently - at least once a week - and I like the option C which is a Chicken Gai Ding with egg roll and fried rice. It is very reasonably priced just above $10 with the tax and is made fresh and hot. I highly recommend the Jar Du Chicken Wings (dry chicken wings) which come with lemon, not sauce, as they are battered and friend to perfection and are larger wings, very nice and moist inside yet with such a crispy batter. On Friday and Saturday nights, this place gets busy, and with Covid you have to stay outside and wait for your phone number to hit the ticker board outside. Unfortunately, the business is having a hard time coordinating the orders on the timelines they are giving, and this is a challenge. I would encourage first-timers to have a lunch and then have supper on a weekday order so you can see if the food is right for your palette. Lining up outside in the rain on Saturday night for a late order is not going to make you love this place. I love their food. I have never had a reaction or illness from their food and I have eaten meals from Asia Wok at least 500 times.

First time ordering in a long time. As usual, food was amazing, but prices have gone up considerably, especially on the fried rice which was 50% higher than last year at this time.

The food from this restaurant is very good. I highly recommend you try their egg rolls, as they are hands down some of the best Ive ever had. Their takeout portions are always generous, and I like their combination plates very much. Perfect for one person and reasonably priced. The staff there are very kind, definitely a nice thing to have for dinner on Friday night or Saturday.

I ordered delivery and was told it would be one hour, after one and a half hours I called and asked where my order was and was told it would be another twenty minutes after 25 minutes still no food so I called and told them to forget it! Will never order or eat their food! Too bad you cant give ZERO STARS!!

Been coming here for years, its the best one Ive ever been anywhere in Orleans and dare I say, all of Ottawa. Food is great and the service is quick, and with these Covid times, prices have gone up...but Id support this place in a heart beat.

Is this gourmet Chinese food or Chinese food served in a five star restaurant? No. But it is so good that once in a while I drive 200km, literally, just to have some. I used to live near this place and moved away but cant find a place that comes anywhere close to how tasty Asia Woks food is. This is by far my favorite chinese restaurant. Must try.

Can be very busy at times. They have a new sign outside so you can watch for your phone number and know when to enter (smart!). I did, however, hear one woman say they numbers hadn t changed in a long time so she felt she had to come in and check on her order. Food is always amazing and generously portioned. I have had the walk-in lunch special many times from this place The food has always been great! So I decided to try delivery from home. I ordered at 3:41pm. I think by accident they forgot my order. Well, I called at 5:10pm and the owner was so nice. She apologized profusely and she gave me my meal for free. The food was excellent, hot and delicious!!! Wow it is so refreshing to see a business admit their wrong, and correct it so well!! You are my new favourite Chinese food place for sure!! Everyone order from this place ( except when I am trying lol).

We ordered and it took 2 and a half hours to arrive. I called after an hour and was told they hadnt even started to cook it, another hour and I called back to be told it was on the way and they had no idea when it would arrive. Ive no problem with waiting but we were told it would be an hour and that turned to 2 and a half with no explanation. Will not order again from this place.

Excellent value for your money. They give you a ton of food, and its all really good. I recommend the bacon fried rice.

Im thinking this place has some of the best Chinese takeout in Ottawa.

The bar for Chinese food in Ottawa is depressingly low, and this place isnt exactly leaps and bounds above the rest. However, this is a great restaurant for when you want *that* kind of Chinese food: greasy, fast, kind of guilt- inducing, and deliciously deep fried. Do not come here looking for a fine dining experience, come here when youve been up all night thinking about eating a bowl of trash General Tsos chicken with rice & the craving wont go away. I had the Singapore noodles (I had a craving much like I described above); the portion was very large & moderately spicy. Their open egg rolls are thicc & crunchy. For the price & for scratching a looooong unfulfilled itch, this place is worth it.

I have been here a couple of times for lunch and the portions are huge and the price reasonable for a plate of Chinese food. The people that work here are friendly and courteous. And I really like their egg rolls!

Way too salty, it would hurt our teeth!!! the noodles at the bottom of the chicken dish were so salty that we picked out the vegetables and threw out the rest. The chicken fried rice was really bland. Not sure where the 4.4 out of 5 comes from, must be from the deep fried chicken balls with red sauce that North Americans seem to like so much.

Hands down, the best egg rolls in the city. I usually get the open ended. Im sure its an unpopular opinion compared to Golden Palace, which is still one of the best. Otherwise, their food is my personal favorite. Ive had many items on the menu. The Chicken Almond Soo Guy is my favorite. The staff there are absolute legends and provide extremely quick service, and are very kind.

I ordered Cantonese Chow mein. I didnt like it. The chicken was fatty, the pork didnt taste good. The dish lacked flavour. I Wouldnt recommend this dish. The open end egg rolls were good.

Very little experience with this place but best won ton soup Ive ever had

Ive had a few less than satisfied experiences from this place (from either given the wrong order to low quality of food). Cantonese Chow Mein is bland. Spicy chicken is too salty. Egg rolls and sweet and sour sauce have been given to me cold (sauce was jelly). I dont recommend going on busy nights because customer service goes down real low, the cooks are rushed, and youre left hoping your order was taken down right. I think Ill avoid this place for a while and see what else Orleans has to offer in Chinese takeout.
