No air conditioning in a heat wave. No sign on door warning clientele coming. Very umberable to sit indoors to eat.

Service and Atmosphere is good - good selection of burger options however their beef burgers are really overcooked, dry and also under-seasoned. There is really no excuse for this since beef burgers should be their strength m.

i was extremely famished and stumbled into this cute little restaurant and laid my eyes upon the most gorgeous man ive ever seen. love at first sight. 65, beautiful smile and the most seductive green eyes ive ever seen. unfortunately he was part of the kitchen staff so he couldnt bust a load i mean buss my table but he did recommend some delicious food options.... he fed me some homemade meat and even added a gourmet special cremè sauce to dip my fries in! it was sweet and salty and i gobbled it all up. 10/10! most delicious food ive ever had in my life!! will definitely be returning for more

Our last night in town, and felt like Burgers. This spot was a great find! Although it took a bit of time for us to get our food, the burgers and sides were delicious. The staff was very friendly and the place has a neat atmosphere. I would go back. Vegetarian options: Great veggie burger option. Absolutely delicious.

Nice staff, good selection of hamburgers to choose from. Unlimited fries with your burger. Burger was still pink inside so if you don t like that you may want to say well done. Definitely a filling meal.

We went there February 19 2023 The order was incorrect The food was cold. So cold could not eat them The poutine had way too much BBQ sauce The chicken burger was dry as dirt .The bill was $142 for three meals and a poutine What a waste of money!!!Never again

The food is delicious!

The Works is a great local burger chain. It may not be the best burger joint in town, but for a franchise, its pretty darn good. Mostly about what goes on the burger than the burger itself. But like with most franchises, the love the owners have of the original doesnt quite make it to all the restaurants in the chain. But, if youre in the mood for a burger, this place wont disappoint.

Had dinner here a week ago. Beers and burgers $80 with a tip. Worth it ?

The meal was good, but on the expensive side. Thats to be expected these days, dining out anywhere is a bit of a luxury treat. The portions were large so we were very full and had leftovers to bring home. I would rather see a moderate portion with a reduced price, but perhaps that isnt feasible for this type of business model. The service was excellent, the waitress was attentive and friendly.

We went here last night for a late night dinner. We normally dont venture out to Orleans, but we were in the area. They took us in, half an hour before they were closing at 9pm. We were able to take our time, and finish our meal. However the way the lady spoke to us, came off as rude to my family that was with me. I didnt think much about it, until he told me this. Overall it was an OK experience. They really need to bring back the peanut butter, and banana burger. Heads up, if thats what you want, bring your own banana. Thats what I normally wouldve done, if Ive known ahead of time.

Third visit, after an amazing first and not so good second visits. I contacted the restaurant, in regard to our less than stellar visit, and was delighted with the owner, Caries graciousness. We decided to try again. We visited again, Saturday July 29th, and were warmly greeted and served by Alexi. Her genuineness and hospitality were welcomed. Our burgers were juicy, perfectly cooked and delicious. Thank you The Works Orleans for a great lunch! We will most definitely be back!

Burger was delicious however the cost of a burger is out of this world.

I need to give a shoutout to Lauren for the service we had tonight!!! The entire staff was wonderful and Lauren was our server - she really went above and beyond and with such kindness too :) The food was incredible, the space was clean and welcoming. Its a no-brainer for us, the next time our family needs a restaurant outing we cant wait to come back! Dietary restrictions: LOVE that there are vegan options! Kid-friendliness: The staff was so flexible and kind when it came to the orders for our daughter. The food was super kid friendly and so was the space :)

This is our Go to when we are looking for that good feeling! The tower of onion rigns with their Beach house specialty sauce, starts it all off well, followed by an impressively imaginative menu, with a choice of 100% meat pattee (choice of 4 or 8 oz) or you can go vegan if you want. The menu accomodates gluten free, milk free, and other dietary choices or restrictions. Sides vary from fries, to sweet potatoes fries, specialty chips and salad. The portions are generous. Best burgers ever! For more adult tastes, they offer Beaus lager and for the younger ones, a hard to resist milk shake that comes in many varieties (and more). If you look closely, they have hidden throughout the restaurant, small toys that can be quite amusing to look for from your seat. Fun for the whole family!

For a great burger (and fantastic onion rings) this place is hard to beat. The price is fair and the food is good.

Im not a burger or fast food type of person. A couple times a year, may treat myself. Hands down, this is my best burger ever..son of a beech burger..and crisp cut fries..heavenly ..yummy.. Food

Ordered the Tragically Maple and Bacon You Fancy both on sesame multigrain; one with fries and the other with cucumber and celery. Delicious!! So tender and fresh. Beechhouse dip is really tasty.

I went to the works today around 7:30 pm and can I just say, I ve never had better service at a restaurant. That is all thanks to my tables waiter Justin. He was incredibly kind, thurrow, seem to be very passionate about the job. When he brought the bill to the tables around us he made sure to ask who would like the bill rather then pass it on to the men like most. Very inclusive guy and he will be the main reason I look forward to returning. Not to mention the food is incredible. If you get a chance to go there hope you have Justin as your waiter. - Skye Macleod

Take out for Birthday dinner as elderly parent unable to dine indoors. Both thoroughly enjoyed their Mushroom Melt burgers and Tower of Rings! Only able to eat half burger each but theyre certainly looking forward to finishing them off tomorrow! Great food that woke up their taste buds! Kudos all around.

I ordered the Ceasar Cluckn salad yesterday for $20.00 on Uber Eats. There was no meat just Romaine lettuce ,bacon and croutons the container was barely half full. What a waste of money!!!

We just got a take out order from The Works. The fries were old! They did not put anything on the cheese burger. They just put cheese and patty!! Never again!!

Seriously The best service Ive ever received in a restaurant. Staff was super knowledgeable about the food menu and drinks and was super friendly. Food wS fantastic and had options for everyone of my friends different tastes or dietary needs. The atmosphere was amazing. If I could rate this place any higher I would! It was the best restaurant experience Ive had in forever! Simply fantastic and well worth it to spend your money here! Excellent service!!!

Went there a bunch a few years ago, best burgers of my life. I recently went back and got my usual order, but the burger was overcooked and bland. Sadly will not be coming back.

Service was really good but I was disappointed with the food. Menu is very hit or miss. Got the 3 ring binder for about 19 dollars and it was pretty bad and dry. The rest of my tables were decent though.

Delicious burgers and onion rings!

Ordered take-out, was told 25 minutes and theyd call. 40 minutes later, I go back to check on my order. Its delayed, ten more minutes and theyll call. 20 minutes later I go back in. My order is ready, has been for a while, no one called. Go home, found they forgot all the sauces I ordered. The food was pretty good though. Edit: the owner was happy to make up for the mistake with some good coupons.

Nice burger joint in Orleans. Tried the Brie burger and it came with bacon. Fries were also pretty good. Like that they serve drinks in measuring cups. Patio kinda small but enough.

Haven t been here for a long time, seems it s gone down hill, the hostess ignored us when we walked in, a girl who was training someone else was the one who came, acknowledged us and sat us at our booth, we waiting almost 30 minutes after ordering for our food to arrive, my order arrived incomplete and cold, my wife s meal arrived cold and 5 minutes after mine(hers was left sitting at the window which we could see). Then I after pointing out my order was incomplete, literally just a patty on a bun without any toppings, had to wait another 10 minutes (timed it) for my meal to be brought back after it was properly made but it was all cold and the fries were stale. Made for a really over priced and not enjoyable experience not impressed in the least. Definitely not planning on coming back. It was nice that the waitress gave us a coupon for a free burger but given the experience today, I m not banking on the coupon being worth it.

We dined at The Works for my sons birthday last week and felt let down by the overall experience. I made the reservation at the Orleans location, as the reviews were better then other locations but when we arrived our table was not even ready taking them roughly 5 additonal minutes to organize a table for my party of 6 with very little communication. If the restaurant was busy this would make sense but only a few tables were occupied. The waitress seemed in a bad mood rushing us to order drinks although we hadnt seen a drink menu as only 1 was placed on our table for 6 people to share. The burgers were over cooked and lacked flavor.

I came with my friend for a meal and Dakota made this experience just perfect! She was so helpful, patient, sweet and what an amazing smile and personality! We will be back for sure :) thank you so much for your awesome service!

I just had the greatest lunch at The Works, Orleans. Besides excellent food, the experience was made even more enjoyable by our server, the amazing Dakota. She is so pleasant, helpful (boy, does she know her stuff!), efficient, positive, and beautiful. Fantastic girl! Well be back. Im still smiling.

Always good here and never have a bad experience. Staff is friendly and efficient and food is really good! Anyone who likes burgers should definitely try this place, and I would highly recommend a kobe-style Wagyu beef patty. The quality is absolutely amazing.

Wow, The Works just blew my mind on takeout. My partner and I ordered the War Pig and the 3 Ring Binder with chicken breast. We shared. These burgers were so well done, the chicken had flovour and was super moist. The toppings were generous and well done. So so good. Definitely back on the top of our legends of Orleans list.

Hands down, you guys make my all-time favourite burger (and onion rings...and shakes... okay maybe everything)!! The staff in Orleans have always been so incredible and friendly, and the quality of food is unparalleled... the cooks must have hands blessed by the gods themselves because I swear my favourite burger son of a beech just keeps getting better over the years! BRAVO The Works Orleans - I literally love you guys. Stay the same, dont ever change!

Appreciated them making space for our infant and stroller indoors when the patio was still wet from the rain.

The food and service is subpar. We waited 35 minutes for a spinach dip appetizer, and it tasted like watered down mayonnaise. Gross! The food took 55 minutes from order to table, and this place was not busy!!! The server asked after the spinach dip if a refill on drinks was needed overall horrible experience and a waste of $100. I will never return to eat at this restaurant or it s other locations.

Convenient, good tasting, somewhat reasonably priced, and reasonably sized food. Tower of onion rings with beachhouse and Chipotle dipping sauce, 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon burger, and a 2001 shake oddessy milkshake are my go toos. Also their serving staff is one of the best serving staffs of any casual restaurant in ottawa.

I have been to and ordered from this restaurant many times. I fully understand that covid has caused issues in food and service. It is truly unfortunate that a once great establishment has fallen so far. When I ordered dinner for my family tonight through Skip the Dish I received a call from the restaurant as my food was being delivered saying they forgot to add a poutine to the order. When asked how they would correct this I was told that they would leave a coupon for me. I asked if instead they could have the poutine sent to me. At this I was told the employee would not be leaving the restaurant. To be clear, I did not ask for them to leave the restaurant. I asked if they could get the missing item delivered. I was then told that they would try to contact Skip and have them bring the item. But, the employee then told me once he hung up he would lose my phone number and not be able to contact me again. This alone seems very odd and unlikely as we live in a world with redial, but even if it was so, he could have easily asked for my info to ensure the situation was resolved. The biggest shock came a few minutes later when I was reviewing the transaction on Skips app. Somehow after my discussion with the restaurant employee the cost charged to me went from around $85 with delivery and tip to $300!!! The attached photos show that this is no were near the actual price of the items ordered. Skip will be looking into this but I feel this is a completely unacceptable occurrence. Possibly the pricing issue is an astounding coincidence that is Skips fault but it seems incredibly odd after the incredulous service I had just received. Overall I am shocked by this whole thing and incredibly disappointed in the Works over this.

I was there on time and was told to wait 10 minutes so I did and then the tall old rude manager came and told me it would be another 10 minutes so total I waited half an hour. Absolutely ridiculous.

Really great staff everytime we go!! And the amazing food is what keeps us coming back. The menu has plenty of options for anyones tastes and needs. The atmosphere is really nice and has a cozy vibe.

The burgers are good! Even those who dont do meat or have allergies will find good food here. I visited on a mid week lunch time, the place was busy and they had no where near enough staff on duty to run the place. Hard working people run off their feet never scores high with me.

Amazing atmosphere and great food to taste and very welcoming customer service

This will be my second time eating food from this location (through skip the dishes) and certainly wont be the last. Amazing food where the quality is kept even through delivery. Each time I ordered the Kvn Bacon burger which tasted splendid, as well as their tragically poutine being a nice extra for those who adore bacon like myself (I got the brisket one this time which was great also). Even the containers were fitted with smiles written under the names of each order to assure me love and care went into my meal this evening which was a nice touch, thank you for the great food!

Always enjoy the food here, burgers are great! Tonight they were too, the reason for the lower review is because I had ordered an appetizer that was supposed to come with garlic aioli, but when my order arrived there was no sauce. Its too bad, because I was really looking forward to trying that sauce. This was a delivery order. Everything else was good, just missing that dipping sauce for the bacon wrapped tater tots. Cant remember their name.

My husband and I went to The Works this evening for the first time and we couldn t be happier with our experience. Our waitress Ashley suggested the Tom Green burger and I was in heaven! So tasty. We will definitely be back!!!

Not only was their sign unoriginal but it is extremely rude. There are medical exemptions for masks. This sign is disrespectful and unnecessary. I dont see the point in shaming people.

Kind of hard to write a full review on the food as they do not follow bylaw exemptions. They deny those with disabilities and should be ashamed. Seems their other locations do however honour the bylaws of exemptions which would mean it is management at this particular location. I will be sure to let others know of the discrimination and will be eating elsewhere.

I usually have terrible experiences ordering over the phone, but the gentleman who took my order was VERY polite, courteous, accurate, asked all the questions to make sure I went home with what I need, and once I picked it up the lady there was also very polite. I couldnt have been happier, the food was delicious, and I love that they ask your name over the phone so when they speak to you, its more personal and welcoming. Wish I could rate 10 stars!

Not as good as it used to be. Last two times we ordered the meat was dry and flavourless and the portions smaller. For the price, I expect more. Wendys has better burgers at a fraction of the price. Disappointing.

Best burger joint in Ottawa hands down. The list of burger combinations and possibilities is unparalleled to this place, because its borderline infinite. The food is always cooked to perfection too, Ive never had a bad experience with their food (unless its the following day after having eaten their spiciest burgers). Jokes aside, the décor is extremely well thought out, and the staff are always very welcoming and knowledgeable. The prices arent bad, and the dining room is always clean. I definitely give this place a 5/5.
