Meat and veggie pie very good. Always consistent and fresh. Nice store.
They serve burnt pies to customers, while customers pay full price thinking they are receiving a fresh, quality product. The workers are not blind, they can see what they are serving to customers and knowingly serve it to them. Their customer service is as bad as their burnt pies. Won’t be coming back.
This chain has been going downhill with this location being one of the worst. They will serve you burned pies. Also they can’t handle big orders. It you order more than a few pies expect to wait an hour or two.
We got some mini meat pies for take-out earlier this year, and they were delicious! Have also tried their full-size meat pies with cheese, and they were just as good. These really hit the spot if you're looking for some protein-rich comfort food.
My favourite pie place in Ottawa hands down. Zaatar pies are unmatched here in terms of how soft the bread is and the actual zaatar flavour. Meat pies don't give me heart burn like other places do and their cheese pie is nice. The guys working are really friendly, it's always a nice vibe :)
Delicious cheese and meat pies, an affordable snack or dinner. Wide assortment of drinks. The guy at the cash gets it, he automatically selects the no tip option since ours was a small takeout order.
This is, by far, my favourite bakery in Ottawa. The staff are amazingly friendly and the pies are mouth-wateringly delicious. The meat and cheese pie is the one we get all the time and it's always filled to the brim which is fantastic.
I was very excited when I found out that Aladdin Bakery was opening in Orleans. I remember as a child visiting Aladdin Bakery on Carling when the sign used to say eat for a $1.00. Now that this location has opened, I only pick up pies here! The service at this location is remarkable, always welcomed with a smile, the service is quick as well even when there’s a line up. The establishment is clean, you can seem them kneading the dough in the back, putting the ingredients on the pie, ready to be made in the domed oven. My favourite is the meat with cheese! However, all their selection of meat, cheese, Zatar, & Veggie pies are delicious. They are oozing with flavour especially when eaten fresh! It not $1.00 anymore but considerably priced. Highly recommend!

I ve tried many Lebanese pies and Aladdin met my expectation. I mostly eat them while driving and it pies not only crispy but stand tall . Seriously, I can easily focus on the road without mess. Will go back definitely. Food
This place was a 5 star for years. I assume inflation has hit them hard as the quality has significantly dropped and the ingredients are below minimal now. For years Ive been getting zaatar and cheese pies with lots of cheese and zaatar on the pies. Now there is barely any cheese, almost like its sprinkled on, and the zaatar is minimal. I am eating literally bread with a pinch of ingredients. If this continues to happen, I am going to back to Ali baba permanently and they will lose a very good customer.
I wish I knew the name of the bald guy with the beard. So unbelievably nice; the best customer service I ve received. This Aladdin is diff than the one on st laurent. Their pies are way better and bigger. Also, always fresh and always willing to make a fresh one if there is dough ready to go. Meat and cheese is my favourite. Beat zaatar in the city too because it s sour and not sweet.

Amazing food, and very friendly service.
Disgusting customer service . I went their with my kid and we were waiting in line for our turn and this couple came after us and the cashier completely skipped us and when I arrive to the cash and inform him that we were next . He completely disregarded what I said and said well I can take you order now . It was extremely disrespectful . I end up not even ordering any food there and left. I will never order anything there ever again

Aladdin use to be THEE PLACE , Staff is great but recently the quality of pies have been below Par. I really don t know whats going on but they need to figure it out. Pies are always soggy, meat has no taste and dripping oil and cheese has no cheese.
the people are nice, but their cheese bread could really use some cheese.
Overall food was good, staff very friendly, however, they have a no mask staff policy. Should be wearing masks when customers arrive. Been there three times and probably my last visit.

Growing up in Westboro afforded me the opportunity to indulge in some of the best food on this planet. Ive been eating from the Aladdins company for over 20 years and I was very pleased to see they opened up in Orleans. The quality is the exact same as their flagship store and cant get enough of it. If you were on the fence about trying this place, please go now and thank me later.
I just went here today and the pies are amazing! I got the cheese and cheese with sausage! The owner and his neice are very nice and talked to me in Tagalog as well! I highly recommend this place and soo worthy of visiting! I will diff keep on coming back for more!!!
I absolutely adore this place! I was first introduced to the St-Laurent location 20 years ago and I havent stopped singing their praises. Every time I come to Ottawa I have to grab a few meat and cheese pies. The perfect food to grab on the go! Staff is also super friendly! FIVE STARS!
Ordered a cheese pie and smelt weird. When I ate it, it didn t taste like the Aladdin on st Laurent. had to throw it out . Won t be coming back to this location .

First time walking in, attracted by aroma of fresh baking, could not decide what to buy so took one of everything (about 4-5 choices). Best ever! Fresh tasty generous fillings great dough. Good service and prices. If you want to try good middle eastern baking this is the place to go in Orleans.

Some improvements needed: both my pies were burnt (it wasnt busy) so that was really disappointing for my first visit. My son couldnt eat the veggie pie, said it didnt taste good (he usually devours the same at Ali Baba). The place was clean and the staff were nice but I still cant get that burnt taste out of my mouth. The sausage and cheese had nice flavour and what I really LIKED was that both the pies werent dripping with grease...
**updated to reflect owner response** I really appreciate the fact that the owner took the time to answer and offer to better my experience. Thank you I ve ordered from this establishment before (Uber eats) and their pies are delicious, however when I went in person I was completely ignored. No greeting, no eye contact as I waited inside even though questions were being asked to a customer about his order and other gentlemen waited about for their order. I left after a bit, feeling dejected without the delicious pie. Will not be ordering from them again.
Great place that I found by accident. I recommend the meat and cheese! Very welcoming and pleasant staff. The sausage and cheese was also delicious (not my order, but I ended up eating most of that one!).

Do not order food from this place!! We ordered 4 meat and cheese pockets and 2 spinach and cheese and apparently it was out of stock and they thought it was ok to send the cheapest open faced pie ever - it has nothing but what looked like cabbage. I mean at the very least, send a meat and pie! What a rip off charge me for price of meat and send me your cheapest pie. I will never give my business to any of your stores again.
My first time trying such a place, I ordered a single cheese pie expecting some frowns, but was pleasantly welcomed by both the chef in the back as well as the cashier. Been a fan ever since. Uber eats, walk ins all perfect experiences. Recommend: 5 Cheese blend, sausage cheese, meat, meat and cheese

I got some of the pies and they were good, but I got a bottle of Than-koko (fermented milk) which I gave to my kid. He complained that it tastes different. He had about half and when I checked - it was expired Sept 14 (over 2 months)!!!!! I cant believe the owner doesnt check the merchandise in his fridge in 2 months. SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! Lets see how sick my son is going to be. Im not shopping there again.
So good, been going to the one on st-laurent for years and now this one is closer to home, so so so good!!
