So this is the worst Pizza Pizza I've been to. I ordered extra cheese and added bacon to my large pizza. 3 slices had no bacon, and it wasn't because it ended up on other slices. Never seen such a stingy amount of bacon. As for "extra cheese"?? Had I not ordered extra I wonder if there would never have BEEN cheese on it! There was no extra. Not even a little. But I paid for it. And the lack of bacon, paid for that too. Oh AND (yeah, there's a an and. Unbelievable right?) I ordered wings too and was ready to drive off when I decided to take a look at the wings. NO SAUCE! Dry wings. I recently injured my leg pretty bad but I hobbled my way back inside and demanded my sauce, saying I didn't get it. What I also didn't get was a @#$&'n apology. What I did get was told that usually the sauce comes on the side unless specifically asked to be tossed. I said, "ok, either way I didn't get any sauce!?" They have me a little packet of honey garlic sauce. Didn't say anything at all aside from their enlightenment about how the sauce is generally applied. I am very unhappy with the lack of rounds I paid for, the customer service and the fact that on my way to the washroom the dough is sitting halfway in the hallway on a rack outside of the kitchen where anyone could mess with it, cough or sneeze on it or whatever. Gross. Just wtf is this place doing? Seek another location. For your own good. Thanks for reading.
It's fine. It's very affordable but also not so great tasting. If you need a quick, cheap pizza, you'll be happy. It's flat and accessible. They have high chairs. They have gluten "reduced" friendly options but not actual GF options.
My standards for pizza are extremely high, as everyone that knows me knows I'm a pizza addict. I eat pizza 1-2x a week minimum. I categorize pizza places in one of three categories : 1) high end/high quality, typically everything is scratch and hand made, usually local restaurants that are not franchised get rated here 2) high quality, commercialized pizza - Gabriels, Milanos and such 3) junk/party style pizza equal to eating at McDonald's. Pizza Pizza falls under the junk/party pizza category, so my ratings are strictly for that category and comparable to Little Ceasers, Domino's, Papa John's, 1 for 1, pizza hut, Swann and such. I'll start by saying I haven't ordered pizza pizza in over 20 years. I ordered two large pizzas from here, large stuffed crust pepperoni and large stuffed crust combination. I also ordered two garlic dips (classic pizza pizza add on from my pizza slices days) and jalapeno poppers. The stuffed crust cheese is not as tasty as the little ceasers stuffed crust and significantly more expensive. I will never order stuffed crust from pizza pizza ever again, and this is part of the reason for the one star loss. The sauce, pepperoni, cheese and dough are as I remember, low quality but junky good. The fresh toppings (arguably the most expensive item they have there) were the typical large franchise good but the bare minimal topping on the pizza. I think I had 10-12 slices of mushrooms and 10 quarter slices of green pepper on the large. This is the other reason for the one star loss. The Jalapeno poppers were exactly like any other place that carries 98% Frozen items in the restaurant. So in short, they are ok but nothing specifically related to Pizza Pizza, as they are the typical tannis or sysco food junk jalapeno poppers. I decided to try pizza pizza as I was bored of little ceasers and I only do gourmet or high quality pizza every other week due to a large being $50-$60 these days. This specific pizza pizza location seems decent. The service was fast and the quality was as expected. I paid $56 with tax for two large pizzas, jalapeno poppers, two garlic dips, and 4 drinks, so value wise they are way up there on the list, when you're ordering alot of food. Little Ceasers will always be my go to for junk pizza, but pizza pizza has earned a temporary tie for number the number 1 go to junk pizza place on my list. I will order again soon and update my ratings as needed.
These people are racist to afghans the owners brother was talking to another co worker about my wife and sister in farsi saying “they know we hate them so much yet they still buy from us” little did he know that we are afghan and understand farsi i was also a long time customer here until 2 weeks ago a lady cashier ignored me then she talked to another co worker in farsi about my face she called me ugly and they know i am muslim every time i would go to pick up my pizza the cashiers would ask me “its the bacon pizza right”
I had a disappointing experience at Pizza Pizza recently. During a severe heat wave, the restaurant had no air conditioning, making it very uncomfortable. Additionally, their card machine was not working, which is quite inconvenient in a country where most people don't carry cash. Overall, the lack of basic amenities and payment options made for a very frustrating visit
Today I went to Pizza Pizza at Portobello Boulevard, I ordered the regular pizza (tomato sauce and Mozzarella cheese), the Chicken Bruschetta (that I am addicted to) and a buffalo chicken sandwich. 1- the regular pizza had 0 taste 2- the Chicken Bruschetta had 0 taste, 0 sauce and a very bad taste. The presentation was nice 🙂 3- the Buffalo chicken sandwich was the worst, very bad presentation, very bad taste. Overall, that is a No No
I went to this store, spent 32$ on 20 wings and asked for a 2nd box to split them up to be able to leave some at my son's job at an outdoor rink. I was refused a box because of inventory regulations. I offered to buy an extra single serving of fries to get a box and was still refused the proper size box I needed.(These boxes can't cost that much!!!) Ok. I accept that even though I don't agree. So I get home and start eating the wings, after I left some on a car napkin for my son to enjoy. Half done, I find not 1, but 2 hairs right on the wings. Very gross and, frankly unacceptable. I will not be going back to this location.
Always nice and friendly staff. You must however order the ( Pan Pizza ) aka Super crust. It actually really good and doesn't taste like cardboard! Excellent value but only vome in medium size. Don't let the people on the phone tell you they don't have it. Cause they do!

Very disgusted on how the delivery driver demanded a TIP when they showed up at the door. I do usually pay for tip at door after food has been verified. He was aggressive and demanding. Even before handing food over...which I already payed for through the store, he was looking at the Tip on the receipt to see what he would earn or expected. This is unprofessional! ....update contacted head office as request 2 weeks ago and still have not heard back
Yesterday march 12 around 6:35pm I ordered 1 topping black olives pizza for my son. When i got it, it was not black olives it was kalamata olives. It was very very salty. I went again to the store i talked to a lady who was standing on the cash, i feel she is the manager. I talked to her. She was rude and she said we have only kalamata olives not black olives. I said it is too salty and i ordered black olives not kalamata. Oh _____ lady i just want to tell u one thing when somebody was ordering that time u should mention it, may be u just worked at this pizza store. I am working in food line from a long time, there is big difference b/w black olives and kalamata. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I feel i was spending around 100$in a month on just pizza pizza. Not going again on this location. Bad customer service. When i showed my pizza to the lady that time she should ask to change the pizza. Because i spent my money on it. This type of people should not be hire in front line.

Beware of delivery drivers from this location. this weekend me and the kid I watch ordered a pizza to a house that I house sit. Saturday night I order a pizza and the driver was having trouble with the pinpad machine at the door. The payment went through and the driver tried to leave in a hurry. I asked him did it go through and asked for confirmation that the payment went through and the driver confirmed. I asked for a receipt and he printed her one and left.This is where the trouble starts. Next day We order again. The kid I watch answers the door to pay and gets berated by the delivery driver. He was asking for the receipt for the order from the previous day and the kid informed him that the house sitter (me) was the one that had it. Hearing this I come down and he changes his attitude says everything is fine. I step out of the delivery drivers view, BUT I can still hear the interactions. The kid tries to pay and the delivery driver goes hold on, 1, 2 or 3 for my delivery what level tip . Before the I get a chance to let my kid know I have a cash tip for the driver, the driver gets the NASTIEST attitude. Raised his voice at the kid and goes 0$? Thanks for the 0$? tip Thank you so much for the 0$ tip and hands the kid the machine to pay. I make myself visible to driver and he turns away to grab the order. Despite the fact that we were both in front of him, he put our drinks/dips on the ground in front of us instead of handing it to us and looked right at me while doing so. He was also upset that the kid had to insert the card instead of tapping . And asked for us to tap despite us telling him tap isnt set up on that card. He grabbed the card out of the kids hand and tapped it against the machine and said you guys dont have money. Theres no money on your card. I just wanted him gone at that point so I used a card that had tap on it And he left. A few hours later the kid I watch comes to see me and brings me the phone and I hear a Pizza Pizza worker yelling at him on the phone saying we never payed for the pizza yesterday. I grab the phone and let them know that I am the adult present and to speak to me. The person on the phone was speaking over me insisting to speak to the kid and not me until I re-iterated that they were speaking to a child and to tell me what happened. The person on the phone was named Mozzy or Mazzi he wasnt really clear. I let them know that I was under the impression that the payment went through because, A- I got a receipt and B- the driver confirmed. I ended up being the one offering solutions/customer service to the person on the phone believe it or not. I let them know that I would check my account information tomorrow (Monday) Because the bank the first pizza was payed for posts all transactions made over the weekend on monday. so if nothings posted I will take the time out of my day to fix a mistake I did not cause. (didnt word it like this over the phone was much kinder and understanding but this situation escalated within the last 30 minutes). In the middle of writing this review I hear a knock at the door. Both the delivery drivers showed up at my door with 2 receipts. 1 receipt from yesterdays transaction and another receipt that belonged to a different customer. We let them know that we spoke to who we assumed was the store manager and told them what the worker at the store and we had agreed upon. They did not listen. they kept insisting that we didnt pay and they had a receipt. The owner of the house was present and they spoke. While they were speaking I decided to call the store and let them know that their workers are at our house despite the conversation we had on the phone a bit earlier because it was clear they had gone rogue. seriously unsafe for so many reasons. However, when I called the stores number the drivers phone rang. He forwarded the calls to his own phone. we confronted him about it and all he did was smile. I will escalate this matter up to the head office and include the recordings we have of the drivers as well as avoid this location like the plague.

I would like to give this Portabello location a BIG . Every time my wife and I show up to this location, we are never disappointed. It is good to see because there are other locations that just operate sooo poorly. You can tell that this location follows its guidelines to a T! No need for photos as we all know this is not gourmet pizza, but this location lives up to the expectations and standards.
Honestly, you can t find a better pizza pizza location anywhere in Ontario. Been eating pizza at this location for over 10 years before I move and was never able to find something close to it.
The Pizza was nice and also the staff. The only thing I noticed the staff all have long uncombed hair and they need haircut. Not good to food business. I hope the manager take action.. thanks
Cauliflower pizza is delicious
I m sad to say this is the last time I buy pizza here. I ordered the M walk-in special and it was completely butchered. I asked to add 6 cheese and a bit of extra sauce. There s a layer of cheese missing. This tasted horrible and was missing cheese. I m so disappointed.

The old man working there is completely disrespectful, unprofessional, and racist. He caused a scene for no reason at all. He is very rude and shouldnt be working there at all. Please get rid of him ASAP, or else you wont have any business because of him. You have just lost a customer. He was the one who served us and cleary saw us order and pay for the pizza. 20 minutes after i went to pick it up he said he wants to see my receipt and wasnt giving my pizza to me even thought he was the one who served me literally 20 minutes ago. He then started to raise his voice saying bring in your receipt. We told him why do you need the receipt when you clearly saw me and served me. He then give us 3 sauces that we didnt ask for, and when we said thats not what we wanted he lied and said thats what we told him. He is VERY, VERY unprofessional get rid of him.

Paid $30 for a xl pizza. I dont know whats going on but you have to use a microscope to find topping. Please stop ripping off in the name of pandemic. You didnt get affected by the pandemic, not only that you had better business during the lock down. on top of that government helped you guys with grants. This is not right. Do not go to this location. The amount of times Ive seen staff and customers wandering around without masks on is shocking. Additionally they now charge you a dollar extra for a squirt of hot sauce on any of their slices - which was free before the pandemic. To top it all off they are incapable of adding your slice to your online bill because of some corporate idiocy. Go somewhere like little Caesars its cheaper, just as good and even at their slowest about as fast as this place.

If youre looking for an inexpensive quick meal, Pizza Pizza will not disappoint. Dont expect artisan pizza at this price. Its quick, cheap, and OK pizza. The staff is super friendly and theres a variety of options on the menu. The value and service is a 4 star but the pizza is just good, not great.

Awful employee service I came in for pick up after order via Uber, the lady at the front said she never got any cash or payment (which was a lie) and after asking her to check the order number, she didnt . So I thought okay maybe an issue with the system or my payment didnt go through, I ordered again. She still said she never got payment but never checked for my order number and kept on serving other customers. She didnt seem bothered in the slightest to try to help me. I ended up paying for two pizzas and never got either.

Not happy. Ordered from them this evening and not only did the driver request a tip after I added one to the bill in pre-order but the pizza was not delivered in a tamper proof box so we had to throw it out. I dont trust these guys anymore. They wont even give me a refund. Ive ordered plenty from them before but this is first time Ive been truly disappointed.
Too busy Friday night. We were about 20 in line, half of us standing outdoors, waiting to order or pick up online orders. I arrived when advised via email when order would be ready but had to wait an additional 30 minutes till receiving it at checkout.

Staff allowed us to celebrate my kids birthday there. There were 10 kids and we brought our own fruits, drinks and dessert and they didnt complain that we were not allowed or loud. This location is spacious and pizzas were ready within 15 minutes.

New website doesnt recognize many Orleans addresses anymore, so you cant order by website. Contacted their H.O. and they said they dont deliver to my address (2 km away from 2 locations)....which they have done for many years. Call by phone and they will deliver to the address. If I were a Franchise Owner, I would be upset.

One of the better Pizza Pizza locations.Good deals, friendly service and free WI-FI. Its a clean establishment with clean washrooms and lots of seating space. We didnt have to wait too long for our order as well.

Last week I ordered a pizza by phone, they asked how I was paying and I said with cash. When the delivery person arrived I paid and asked for the change and he said he didn t have any. He then tells I need to pay on my card. I only had my debit and got charge an extra dollar. I don t understand why he didnt bring extra money with him if I told how I was paying. This has happened to many people I know, that has ordered from pizza pizza. This is a scam. I m really not happy about this. If the driver were to be nice maybe I would ve tip but they re always rude.
