100.00 plus tip. 2 meals, 2 beer, 2 glasses of wine. The extra crispy fries...werent, tasted like frozen McCains fries. Fish was undercooked and soggy. Server seemed annoyed and very unpleasant. Wont be going back anytime soon.

I visited for the first time tonight and it was awful. The food was great, but the service was just awful. I ordered my daughters meal first before anyone else at the table had ordered, and it never came out. The server apparently misunderstood our order. So she said shed get it made itll be quick to come out, wont take long. Everyone had finished their meals and my daughters pizza still didnt come out. She ended up sharing with someone else at the table, and the server honestly didnt care that she completely missed my daughter food. Very unimpressed. Wont be back. For the price of the food, I expect top notch service.

I will never be going here again. The food was amazing, but the service from start to end was absolutely atrocious. We got sat at our table and werent given any menus. So we literally sat there for a good 15 mins waiting till someone finally came up and offered us some. We asked for some napkins as my son spilled a bit of his water and the water was leaking towards one of the guests that were with us due to the table being very lopsided and they never came back with napkins till I went to the bar and asked for some again 5 minutes later. The server didnt have a pad with her to write our orders down and forgot one of our kids pizzas. And then pretty much acted like she really didnt care. I have worked in the industry since 97 and that was some of the worst service I have ever had and I got out to try new places all the time. And to top it off. When we went to go pay the tip values started off at 18%. If youre going to do that, make sure you give amazing service. But like I said, the food was amazing. Keep up the good work with that. But unfortunately I will never be going back due to the horrible service.

Great experience here tonight! We were quickly seated and served even though the place was packed. My popper burger with sweet potato fries was AMAZING!!! My partner enjoyed the fish and chips and said it was awesome. Our server was great with refills, etc. Ive eaten here 3-4 times and its been bang on every time. Well be back!

The first time I came here a while ago I wasnt impressed but they had just opened so we decided to give them another chance. Now am I glad we did. I had the Corner Burger and it was delicious. We also had fish and chips, pasta and the club sandwich. All of it was good.

Went there on a Wednesday evening with friends, and there were plenty of tables available. I had the steak salad, which was very delicious, but the steak portion was rather small- hockey puck sized. I found it expensive for the amount of steak on the plate- $24. My husband had the burger and he liked it, but the bun seemed to have been heated up a bit too much as it was really darkened on the edges. There were no complaints however.

I wanted to send a shout out to all of the staff at CornerBar !! We had my bachelorette party here and from the food the drinks , the service it was nothing but AMAZING! A special shout out to the kitchen staff We had a total of about 25 people who ordered food and everything was delicious no one in our group had a complaint!! A shout out to the DJ who not only hosted karaoke songs but played the special songs for our upcoming wedding that we were able to practice our dances in the bar too !! I can t thank you all enough ! Definitely recommended they did not disappoint.

My family has been going here for years. They always have great and reasonably priced food. I wish they had a fish taco to compliment their really good trio of tacos. The owner and staff are extremely friendly. This has been one of the local restaurants ive been wanting to support during the pandemic. The family bundles every day offer a great value and diner options for my family on those busy days. 5/5 for me. Thanks guys

We had a great experience at the Corner Bar and Grill. The food is amazing! We had the tuna nachos and the brisket tacos. Everything was delicious!! The beer is good too.

Very pleased with service and food here. I was delighted that my dog could sit on the extended patio while my partner and I enjoyed our food. The menu was full of great choices and our server was able to provide recommendations which turned out to be amazing. Very happy with our meal and service. Will visit again when I am in Ottawa.

Yesterday, we went to Corner Bar as part of a bachelor party scavenger hunt! The male bartender, whose name I cannot remember for the life of me, was amazing!! We walked in and told the hostess what was going on, and the bartender immediately jumped on board to help us out. He was a fantastic sport, and gave us the best experience, laughed with us, and encouraged the weird experience. It was wonderful! It was not my first time at Corner, but after yesterday it definitely will not be my last! Cheers! And thanks!! His enthusiasm helped us win our tasks, and win the hunt. He will forever be apart of Team Ramrod!!

My wife and I had a crave for mussels. Having been at this place before, I remembered seeing mussels and fries on the menu. Although the item is listed in the appetizer section, the portion can be easily be considered a meal. We were not deceived by the quality and taste.

Clean friendly environment, lots of parking

Nate didn t communicate the fact that doubles were only drinks with pop. So the 2 0z of probably fake cranberry cocktail cost me twice as much that were added to my drink. I was told sorry nothing I could do. I thought you knew that yeah like I m a mind reader Maybe try and explain that better I even said when I ordered the drinks with my friend that the doubles were a good deal. I will never go back to this bar after being treated that way. Learn some respect or at least communication skills before working in the service industry. I have those skills and I am a manager That understands how to properly correct a situation. I should have gotten the price corrected.

Very expensive for the quality.

My second review of them. Great friendly place. Not busy Sunday evenings, if you want some space between you and other guests. Had their honey garlic wings (not on the menu) and they also have a caesar salad, which is not on the menu. It pays to ask. Second time to have their cinnamon sugar pastry that serves 2. So darn good! I always have a great gin & tonic. Hubby had their chicken parm with fettuccine. He left nothing on his plate. Nice bar feel, patio, plus nice eating area with comfortable clean booths, and tables. Plastic partitions between booths - great for flu and COVID season. Alexie gave us a nice meal out, as everything was perfect and she was so friendly. Background music was just that, so we were able to enjoy a quiet meal. TVs were on mute, but hubby could still get his fix of sports on multiple TVs, as he is smart enough to follow the puck without sound. Parking: FREE parking - always a bonus. Their parking lot is part of a very large lot, so finding a spot is never an issue.

Lucky to have a pub of this quality within walking distance of the house. This allows us to enjoy one of the best rotating tap menus in the entire region and walk home! Excellent chicken wings, especially at a really affordable price after 9 p.m. The weekly take out specials are unbeatable. Tonight, Tuesday, we had the chicken parmesan for $45 for a family of 4. It comes with 4 chicken breasts, fettuccine alfredo and a large Caesar salad. 100 times better than McDonalds and it costs even less! Truly an excellent neighborhood pub.

Great selection of bear, service was top notch and the food is fresh and generous portions interior is nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable and plenty of booth seating. Summer time has a good sized patio on the east side of the restaurant.

The food is always good at Corner Bar and Grill we havent had one bad dish, my favorite is the flatbread and the Date Chicken, the bread is so fresh and delicious. The servers are always amazing and they have a great selection of Beer. Would definitely recommend this place.

I recently tried Corner Bar and Grill for the first time. We ordered the Fish and Chips and the Corner Burger. My daughter tried the Corner Burger. She liked it and devoured the Burger but the bun was over the top huge. She actually threw the bottom bun away and cut the top bun in half and it still made enough for a burger. The beef:bun ratio is critical for a great burger, they really failed there! The fish and chips was awesome. Huge piece of fish in a light crispy batter cooked to perfection. Lots of people brag about the Fish at other places in town but dont be fooled, this one is fantastic. The coleslaw is pretty bland. They really need to reinvent that one. However, its not meant to be the star. I loved the fries. They were great, but could have been a bit crisper. That said, we had takeout so in house I would expect them to be even better. The biggest draw back was the amount of grease retained in the fries. I am not sure if they cooked them at too low a temperature of didnt drain them after they were done but they were loaded with excess grease. NOTE: the ohot is not mine. It was from a post by Corner Bar and Grill. That picture is the family pack fish and chips for $40. Intended to feed a family of 4, and it will.

Always great food and service! Update. Once again a great experience. Was in Saturday night and the food was outstanding however our server Bri made our night!. It was a pleasure being served by someone who clearly enjoys her job and is very very knowledgeable about the food and drinks! She is a real gem. So pleasent sweet and attentive. Good food, atmosphere

Two out of our three meals were excellent and the service was quick and friendly. The tuna poke bowl was great and my daughters fish and chips were large, crisp and delicious. Unfortunately my wifes chicken wings were small and greasy. The beer selection is always good.

Fish had been amazing up until two-three weeks ago. Suddenly the batter was twice as thick and uncooked inside, fish tasteless and greasy as heck. Any leftover fish I used to leave a paper towel under it to protect the leftover chips on the bottom and the towels would have barely any grease. This time, soaked with grease and the box stained. I think their cook must have changed. Just a horrible meal.

Was there on a Tuesday night around 8pm.... 1 server / Bartender working in the whole place. She had approximately 30 people scattered around the entire pub. Service was absolutely horrible.... No owner or management around to help out. Also, this place does not cater to anyone with diabetes as they do not serve any light beer on tap or in bottles.

Great beer selection, good Sunday deal for a Caesar ($5). The table enjoyed their burgers and Buffalo chicken wraps. Service was quick and very nice. We will be back thanks.

Fantastic happy hour menu with wings, poutine, tacos and more! One of my favourite spots in Orleans to grab a craft beer and quality food!

We went for supper last night for the first time at the Corner Grill. Food was really exceptional. I had the 3 tacos (Ahi Tuna, Butter Chicken and Brisket) every bite was very flavourful. My wife chose the club sandwich with a cesar salad and she really enjoyed it too. Beavertails for desserts...yummy. Really like the restaurant ambiance and the friendly staff members. A special thank to Bri who really serve us well. We definitely will be coming back.

My wife and I just sat down to the best restaurant meal weve had in probably the last 5 years, and we just got back from a trip to Toronto to see the HP play. The steak I had was cooked to perfection (medium in my case) and far more tender than I care to admit I can prepare, and the frites were very tasty, to the point of not needing the garlic aioli (which I ravaged anyway). My wife had the chicken marsala, which I pillaged a bite of and was also fantastic. I mean, lets face it, she didnt need all that. She had a sunset sangria (I think) which was also great, not too fruity, while I had a beer from the Vimy Brewing Company, also...fantastic. Everything about the meal was over the top. Our server was fast and attentive. Wed gone there several years ago and this visit was substantially better than the last. Id give the Corner Bar and Grill 6 stars if I could!

Most expensive dinner weve had with the most disappointing food. Pizza was undercooked, chicken marsala was bland and gross. Went here a few years ago and was disappointed. Figured Id give one more try years later and still disappointed.

This is our favourite restaurant, we dine here often because the food is 5 star. Fish and chips are the best I ve ever had; the marsala chicken is my favourite. The dessert menu is outstanding. Oh, and the bourbon sour, yum!,

Went there for my birthday on Saturday with my family. We are always there and it was one of our favourite spot. I ordered gluten free bun vegiterian sandwich. It came in regular bread and I asked to make sure because it didnt look gluten free as I orders before and the waitress was not our waitress and she said no it was entered wrong and took it back. Few mins later our waitress came in with gluten free bun sandwich and it looked like 3 bites was bitten from it, I said I cant eat this and she said I guarantee it was picked from the bag out like that. I said I wont eat this and she didnt care and went and got me a to go box. I said Im not eating this half biten bun and would like my bill assuming for the drinks I got. She went and got out bill and charged us for the half bitten sandwich. At that point I had enough, I paid and told her we wont be back again and she moved her shoulders to us that she doesnt care. We will never go to this place again. Worse customer service!

Enjoyed a really nice lunch here with my family this past Sunday. Service was great, food was excellent and reasonably priced. I chose the butternut squash ravioli entree and was not disappointed. I found it to be flavorful and satisfying. Others at my table had the fish and chips(best anywhere), the reuben sandwich (yum) and the mushroom fettuccine (very nice). Will definitely return to this establishment.

I have been coming here consistently for two and a half years. I come for beers and wings with friends. I come for dinner with my family. I order takeout. The chicken sandwich is amazing. The wings are fantastic. The owner is a friendly guy and the service is great. Amanda is a great bartender and server. The chef has done something really creative and special and I love it. Fantastic revolving beer menu.

I spent $44 on a Skip order for a club w/ salad and a taco. The club had 1/2 a thin breast that only filled half the bun. One slice of bacon. Salad had 2 cucumber slices so thin they could be tiny translucent windows and 1.5 cherry tomatoes. The $7 taco was barely a bite and a half. Disappointing. $44 for what amounted to be a half hearted appetizer with a lettuce garnish on the side.

Revamp the bar,. Make it more spacious. Bring back the old top cover over the bar. Instead of the upper bar make it one level.

Great food, great atmosphere even on the second day back from lockdown. Only complaint is the missed opportunity for calling the tuna nachos Tunachos.

The power outage recently put their order machine down, so when it came back on all kinds of orders came in all at once. Anyway, the manager brought my order out and apologized personally (it was 20 minutes late). Thought this was a nice touch. The food - delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the fries, wrap and pizza. Third time dining at Corner Bar and never disappointed, even with a delay.

Really great food at a great local restaurant. The food is outstanding.

I ve been here twice so far and I had 2 fantastic servers. This first time I went, Taylor was super amazing, attentive, friendly and helped me decided what drink to get, which was perfect for my picky taste palette. I also ate the perogies which was fantastic so great job on the chefs part. The second time I went, Sharlee was super speedy, friendly as well and overall an amazing server. She recommended the Sunset Sangria and it was absolutely fantastic. The only thing I would change is your chicken parm and the pasta sauce that went with it. It should be the same sauce as the one on the chicken for a better combination but that s just my opinion! The food was amazing especially the Kung Poa Cauliflower bites. I also absolutely love when the staff takes a second to chat with you and make conversation and they both did that! I will be coming back especially if either of these servers are working!

Stopped in because of a family event in the area. Had the Terragon chicken club. Was shocked to discover that it was phenomenal; the chicken breast was perfectly grilled, juicy and well seasoned. Terragon aioli was delicious and in perfect proportions. Highly recommended ordering this. They have a great selection of local craft beers (I had Beaus all natural Lug Tread.) Service was on point and the server was very familiar with the menu, ingredients and method of preparation.

The food was good. The margarita was excellent and they had tons of choices for drinks (beer included). The atmosphere in the tent outside was fun. The wait for food is very very long, on a night where it didnt seem that busy. I would definitely go back for drinks with friends but not sure about dinner or lunch.

What a terrible place. Had a bad beer, and was terrible. Manager refused to take it off the bill. I hope the $2 was worth us leaving early. When we drive extra to support local, look like you appreciate it. My family was disappointed

Good food and a great range of interesting beers

This place is a huge NOPE for me! First of all, our server was nice, and the pizza was fine, but everything else was mediocre at best. The bun on one of our burgers was over toasted which caused the bun to crumble and fall apart after the first bite. We did not complain however, because we understand that restaurants are doing their best under these difficult circumstances. Everything else was okay until someone at our table ordered a pint of beer that wasnt what they expected it would be. The description said one thing, but the taste was something completely different. He sent the pint back and while deciding on something different, the server returned with the full pint and tried to give it back to us while advising that the manager would not remove it from our bill. We were stunned! Ive never heard of a customer returning something that was not to their satisfaction and the restaurant refusing to remove it from the bill, especially since it was virtually untouched. I hope the owner sees this review and addresses the importance of good customer service with their management. We will not be returning and will tell our friends to avoid this place. So disappointing.

Grabbed a couple burgers for takeout. BB burger was absolutely amazing. Bun was fresh, burger was perfectly cooked and juicy. Toppings weren t skimped either. Will be back.

The tuna poke nachos and calamari are straight fire! The corner burger that I got was decent. The portion sizes were a little smaller than i was hoping for, but it was still enough to satisfy me, someone who is a big eater. The pricing was reasonable as well. Overall, a pretty good experience.

Great looking venue, server was lovely, food wasn t worth it. Shrimp capellini was like biting into a raw garlic clove seasoned with WAY too much black pepper (it looked and tasted like the pepper mill broke over my meal). When the server took the 2/3 unfinished plate back I mentioned the pepper overtook the entire dish. Was told the chef suggested next time I ask for half the amount of pepper lol definitely will not be back for the food.
