We picked up some wraps and sides for lunch one day and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. We all got the summer dress wraps, chips, schrute salad, potato salad, and the macaroni salad. I got my wrap pressed and my husband didn't. He thought it was alright but I think having it pressed makes it a lot better. Anyway. The wrap itself had good flavours. It was light overall with fresh ingredients. Wished it was a tad bigger since it was yummy. The sides were alright mostly. My MIL liked the chips the most. She said they seemed to be in house made so she was happy with that. The mac wasn't that great imo. It was a bit bland so I put some salt into it. The schrute salad was great. It had lots of toppings on it so wasn't just garden mix. The potato salad was pretty decent. It had a tang to it. Again, I put some salt to it. Overall, I'll come back to try their different wraps. Think I'll get the chips and schrute again too.
My partner and I tried Lunch Box for the first time yesterday. We’ve heard a lot of great things about the sandwiches. I had the Toga Wrap with a side of the chips. The best wrap I’ve had in a long time! My partner had The Slayer with a side of the potato salad and it was so good! The food was delicious and we will for sure be going back. The cashier was also very nice
If you're trying to find out why you're not having the best day, it's most likely because you didn't have a sandwich or wrap from this incredible establishment. They go above and beyond in terms of quality of food, and they enhance every experience with the amazing customer service they provide. The individuals that work here take pride in their work and they go above and beyond any and all expectations one might have when looking for a beautiful meal. They are always so helpful, respectful, kind and caring. I honestly wish I had more bad days so I could use it as an excuse to go get a sandwich or wrap, but for now I'll just turn my good days into great days by making sure I make this a regular part of my routine. I go there for an amazing meal, but I always end up walking out with a huge smile as well. Thank you for all the hardwork and care you put into your food and making everyone feel more appreciated and valued for coming in.
Stellar spot. Got a pressed wrap and a side of potato salad. The food is decently portioned, and the flavors are balanced and refreshing. Cheers to the staff. Would love a bike rack to lock up nearby, but that's all ofJeanne d'Arc, so no real complaint there. Will definitely be coming back!
We had 2 sandwiches and a side of macaroni The slayer( pretty good however chicken was kind of dry ) The Sean Evans( I don't know what that mambo sauce was but it was incredible) Macaroni salad was incredible I would eat here again for sure it was worth it
This was so good! I ordered Uber eats, and I’ll be getting this so much more now that I’ve tried them! I got the Sean Evan’s sandwich, house seasoned potato chips and the cookie dough. Holy, what a good meal!! Next time I want to try their beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, so much of it looks amazing!
Agh. We love lunch box! What a great little local restaurant!! We have tried 4 or 5 of their sandwiches/wraps now and each one has been 10/10 fantastic. They have some side dishes like potato salad and regular salad. They have beans on the menu too but they havnt had them in stock for us to try. So far weve loved EVERYTHING. OH! They also have edible cookie dough!
Delicious sandwiches! Everything is local, fresh and made in house (buns, sauce, snacks, cookie dough, no cold cuts, ...). I tried their Class Clown, P. A. Day, Sean Evens, with snacks and cookies... each unique and sooo tasty! The lunch combo is totally worth it (sandwich, drink, cookie dough, and a snack) The staff is exceptional and super friendly, they really care about their customers experience. I went with my coworkers, they loved it. I went with my wifey, she loved it and she then went with her coworkers and everyone loved the food. The current location is small, but cosy with a fun '90s theme. You can play N64 while you wait. I highly recommend this place for quick and delicious food. Wish these young man lots of success!

Good spot for sandwiches. I like that the ingredients are fresh. I think its a bit overpriced for the size of the sandwiches, and I was a bit disappointed that the hot sandwiches were not actually hot. The combination of ingredients in the couple of sandwiches I tried were good, though. Id recommend this spot for a quick bite. -- Update -- I figured Id give them a shot again and the sandwich was mediocre but still quite overpriced for what it is. I got the pasta salad, and its pretty terrible. No flavor at all and it is basically just pasta and dressing (if you can call it dressing). There are barely any veggies or otherwise in it.
Great little take-out place with excellent sandwiches and supreme service. They also have a patio that would need a renovations but the service and food trumps everything.

Very good food, fresh ingredients, friendly staff :) The outdoor signs could use a refresh, and the patio some work (loose boards), but it didn t detract from the quality of the food. Very happy with having gone there, and will be back :)

What a great little spot in Orleans! I was craving a tasty sandwich and this place hit the spot. Highly recommend the fire drill on a bun and the big macaroni salad as a side. They were incredibly nice, too.
I ve always heard positive things about LunchBox. Finally gave it a try. Enjoyed the Piggyback Ride, very tasty sandwich on their bun.
The sandwiches are always delicious with lots of flavours. Pricing is reasonable. The Sean Evans is my go to and I always finish my meal satisfied and wanting more. Great spot in Orleans!

We love this place! The sandwiches are consistently delicious and prepared with care. The menu options are well thought out and offer a wide range of options, including vegetarian options. The side salads are generous and satisfying. The potato salad in particular is excellent. The service is always fast and friendly and the staff is super welcoming. Easily one of the best lunch options in Orleans.

Everything they do is great. Some of my faves are fire drill or summer dress or Sean Evans . The beet salad is amazing. My only complaint - there s not one on my side of town. (South End please open one!)
UPDATED REVIEW: I m so sad to have to update my review, but I find it necessary, as they have changed SO much from the restaurant I originally reviewed. They switched to a delivery service I wasn t a fan of, so it had been a long time since I ordered from them. I decided to pop in when I was in the area, and was so disappointed. They no longer had my favourite sandwich (the Hopscotch Hero), got rid of the best salad dressing they had (salsa verde vinaigrette), stopped putting crispy onions on the salad I normally ordered (the best part), and now they press their sandwiches?! Honestly, this restaurant used to be my favourite and I would order twice a month. As I said in my original review, they catered my wedding because I was over the moon with the product they offered. I know they are a small business, and I love supporting small businesses, but they don t seem to care about their loyal customers who loved what they were doing. I still get messages from family asking me to remind them of the amazing sandwich place from your wedding , and I have to tell them not to bother because it is nothing like that anymore. When I mentioned how I sad I was that everything changed, I was informed it was to make training new staff easier?! Putting the ease of training before offering your loyal customers what they know and love is just sad. I won t be going back, and I know I m not the only one. I want the old Lunchbox back!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is my favourite place in Orleans! They catered my wedding, and everyone kept saying how delicious it was! The ingredients are always fresh and perfect. The cookie dough is a nice little treat to add on, and it s such a good price that I don t mind! When I go in to place an order, they re always cheery and polite! Super friendly and delicious food keeps me coming back again and again!

The wraps here are amazing and there are so many unique options to choose from. The cookie dough is really good also! I would not recommend the sandwiches here, the bread is good but the amount of bread is overpowering to the sandwich. My favourite wrap is the Nutty Professor

Sandwiches are pretty good and the place is nostalgic, but doesnt feel worth the money. 30$ for 2 sandwiches and 2 water bottles.. wouldnt be too bad if you got more for what you paid. Good but not worth it
These are not your regular sandwiches. These sandwiches are way better then Subway or all those other sandwiches shops. I swear you wont regret going there! Its a tasty experience. Grab their cookie dough too, quite good.

I m obsessed with Lunchbox! I even served it at my small back yard wedding! They were able to accommodate my requests, and did it well! The food is always fresh and fast. There s something for everyone! The customer service is also perfect! They re so friendly and polite! Not to mention their cookie dough is such a nice little touch, and so yummy!
Lunchbox is a family favourite. Their sandwich buns are soft and delicious; the staff is great and friendly. The Sean Evans sandwich is loved by my wife and kid. Their only request is to bring back hickory sticks in lieu of potato chips on the sandwich. They even have a beat salad called The Shrute salad (Office fans get it). Though I did have to stop swinging by on my way home from work to pick up supper for the family because it felt like anytime I was there within 15 min of close, I was an annoyance and disrupting their closing routines.

I have ordered from this restaurant several times over the past few months, and can say that this is a true hidden gem. I personally love their Sean Evans sandwich with the history lesson salad as a side. Everything is very fresh, and extremely consistent.

I have driven by this place repeatedly for the past few years and only recently given it a try. Lets just say that I was not one bit disappointed! The choice of warm vs cold sandwiches, options of starch to build your sandwich and the combinations themselves are exceptional. A great healthy option when in a pinch without sacrificing taste.
Today is Saturday. Place is suppose to be open at 11am. Went little past noon. Was closed. No explanation on the door.

One of the best food places in Orleans in my opinion. The sandwiches are great, I love the 90s atmosphere and best of all the prices are very affordable for the quality. My personal favourite probably the Sean Evans but there are a lot of great an inventive sandwiches there. I am craving some lunchbox now as I write this review.

Tried for my first time today on my lunch break, had the Spring Break wrap and it was hands down one of the best wraps I have ever had. The combination of ingredients they use gives such amazing flavors. Lunchbox is my new go-to for healthy and fresh sandwiches and salads is the East end! 10/10 reccomend!

Absolutely fantastic! I only recently tried their food, but had always heard great things. Never a disappointment when I ve gone, everything is very consistent from each order to the next! Love Love Love their PA day sandwich. The first time I tried it, it was on a wrap. I m not usually a wrap person but I absolutely loved it! The next time I went they told me I could get a bun and it was somehow even better then my first experience! And their staff! What amazing people! Super friendly and kind. I believe they remembered me even though I had only been once before(haha) Overall would totally recommend this place if you are looking for some fresh and healthy food!
In these times of Covid I will only support restaurants that clearly are concerned about my health and well being. Last week some friends and I were planning on ordering from the Lunchbox. Their sandwiches had us all excited....until one of my friends called to place an order. No curb side pick up! In fact you had to go in and pay with you credit card...so no over the phone or internet payment! Apparently staff do not wear masks either. It s pretty clear on their website that they have not taken any measures due to Covid. Sorry....we wished we could have tried your sandwiches but there are so many choices out there that are concerned with keeping their clients healthy we cannot support you!

Delicious food , great halal chicken options ! Theyre awesome to deal with, great customer service. My recommendation is the Sean Evans which has a delicious crunch ! The summer dress sandwich actually feels like eating summer in a sandwich! Overall highly recommend it !!

We drove from Barrhaven to try the LunchBox and it was amazing! The service was very quick and the sandwiches were beyond delicious Definitely get some cookie dough for dessert!! We will definitely come back, worth the drive!
I love the lunchbox! Fresh ingredients including delicious soft buns, with school-themed recipes that give great twists on the typical sandwich favourites. My family and I try to make any excuse we can to pick up some to go on our way to a hike or a picnic. Goes great with a beach day on Petrie Island!

We ordered catered sandwiches, salads and cookie dough from LunchBox for our latest staff meeting and were very pleased with the service and taste. The sandwiches were delicious, especially the Fire Drill one. Some of our staff even said they were the best catered sandwiches weve ever had! This place is crazy good. I recently moved to Montreal and to be honest, the food in Montreal is so good I dont really miss or crave anything from Ottawa... except Lunchbox. Every time I come back to visit I need to hit up this place at least once. Best sandwiches/wraps ever and the staff is super nice. The prices are really good too considering the quality of the food - you can tell the ingredients are fresh.

A good friend raved about a great place in Orleans that is well beyond the chain sandwich places. So today we swung by, were met by a group of friendly, helpful and enthusiastic fellas who were eager to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. I chose The Sandbox and my Buddy The PHD and we certainly weren t disappointed! We ll be back and certainly tell our friends! Check it out!

Looking for something else, other than a burger and fries , hot dog and fries, poutine, you get what I mean, the LunchBox is a great alternative. I had a Sean Evans and my wife had the PhD! Both were great. This is my second time here, and not sure why i have not frequented the place more. All for under 20 bucks, a drink included!

Their decor is purposefully gimmicky. The place doesnt seem to take itself too seriously. They should because the sandwiches are well worth the trek. I think they should ditch the soft drinks for a healthier alternative to go with the great food. I could go for a Piggyback now.
