Thai, a Vietnamese restaurant with Canadian Breakfast.we offer thai restaurant, authentic Thai food, pho, Thai restaurant, doordash, uber eats
First time at this restaurant and it won’t be the last. The food and service were excellent. The food was very tasty, fresh and excellent sized portions. It’s a small family run business and they couldn’t do enough for you. The prices are also very reasonable. If you like Thai food it’s definitely worth a visit. They also have Vietnamese food but we didn’t try it.
Our family has been eating here for years. The Tom Kha is second to none. The vegetarian menu is extensive and I can’t say which one is my favourite as they’re all so tasty. The staff is wonderful and efficient.
When Pad Thai is a bunch of noodles joined together, flavourless and missing other ingredients and have some pieces of chicken at a Thai place, it leaves very little confidence for other dishes. Paid $19 for food fit for the compost bin. The chicken dumpling soup was edible. Not great.
I've always been happy to dine at T'Basil. They are a very good Thai restaurant located in the heart of Orleans. Today for lunch I had their fusion rolls which I enjoy very much (a little bit Thai a little bit Japanese). And I had their very fulsome Tom yum going. My wife had the more traditional Vietnamese summer rolls and we shared a very nice mango salad. We also took home an order of their basil noodles which are fabulous!
Love this restaurant!! Service is always incredible and they have great vegan options. I had the Vegan Vietnamese Curry, soooo good!! My husband usually gets a different chicken dish and is always satisfied. Would definitely recommend.
We ordered off the vegetarian menu and the food was delicious. Fresh and flavourful. Friendly staff. Traditional interior. Will be back!
A couple of Saturdays ago, we ordered lunch for eight hard working people who were starving. Appetizer of A9 - wontons - those little pockets of fried flavour goodness with thai dipping sauce. We followed that up with 3 orders of V13 - Vegetarian Spicy Noodle with soy bits (they even made one extra spicy as we requested); 2 order of X8 - Spicy noodle with chicken; one X7 - Grilled Salmon; one order of V18 - NEUA TOD KROB (served with rice); and X12 - PAD TOA LUUN TAO (served with rice). The order was ready for pickup in 25 minutes. All was hot, delicious, fresh ingredients and plentiful. All the bellies were full and even a few leftovers. Though we did takeout, there is a patio in front andplenty of free parking. Thank you for the most excellent lunc T-Basil - we'll be baaaaaaack. :-)
Loved it here. Enjoyed our food very much and would for sure come here again to enjoy another serving of crispy noodles along with trying something new. Service was quick and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I was also a fan of the Sake which was reasonably priced.
Best pho I ve had in Ottawa! Reminds me of Vietnam
We ordered dishes to share and Thuy was very helpful in not only serving the dishes but providing us the plates and bowls so we could all have a bit of everything! As always the food was delicious. Cam n Thuy!
The food is good, the price is right.
Food his excellent. Generous portions for your money. Love the owner Thuy Nguyen. Lovely lady. If you ever go to Orléans Ottawa keep this place on your bucket list. Robbie and Barb from Kelowna B.C. Food : 5/5
Thuy has excellent food and service
Thuy was great. Nice food.
We had not been in that restaurant for about 15 years. I can t figure out why? The broth of the wonton soup was the best I ever tasted. The pad tai was delicious!
Try Tom kha soup. and
Every time I come here I leave happy, full and I always say why don t we come here more often?? It s such a gem and I d put it as a top 5 in ottawa for Thai food. Spectacular job. Food
Very consistent with the food service is always good it s a perfect place to go especially with winter cold around the corner the pho soups are amazing
Their padthai is just insane, Ottawa really do not have good restaurants compared to toronto, especially the Orleans area. The noodles is simply one big mess and the other ingredients are flavourless. I cannot believe the price I paid for this dish. We need to uphold our standards to stop such nonsense restaurants. Or we can keep enjoying such quality in the long term. What a disappointment.
Had the pad kee maow. Delicious. Quiet relaxing atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Large menu section of different veggie options. Food : 5/5 |
The food here is great. The curries and the summer rolls (with peanut sauce) are especially good! Definitely worth visiting if you are in Orleans!
We ve heard great things about T Basil - and they did not disappoint. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was hot and fresh. Their wonton soup was the best that we ve ever had. Flavourful broth with lots of veggies and hearty wontons. We shared the grilled chicken and pork along with the pad Thai curry - both were outstanding. The chef even came out to visit our table . Thank you.
Great place to eat. Good portions, delicious, and good vegan options
Service and soup was WOW. For the person that gave a 1 star, you need to learn Vietname food. I had the Tomkha. Was Absolutely scrumptious. Was hot and tasted fantastic. Good job TBazil. Im coming back for sure. A1
I bring my family here for lunch occasionally. By far, the best Phô around. Thank you!
Our group ate from the vegan part of the menu, and everything was delicious. Really imaginative eggplant dish. Highly recommended. There is a really good cook in this kitchen!
Our ladies night was held here....amazing pho! Will return
The lemongrass beef tastes good. Food pricing a little higher, but totally good experience
Ordered the Pho Special and Tom Kha the bar was already on the floor after I saw how FAST my order was sent out after just placing it. What seems like an attempt at Pho was just hot sugary water with some onions, VERY sweet water with onions thrown in. The Tom Kha had a near 2 inch layer of oil.. after stirring it up Similar to how the hot sugary water item was made, this item was just hot spicy water with some toppings, not even the mushrooms in the spicy water gave it any flavour, the only difference was after stirring it, under the inches of oil was a cloudier looking liquid to what I assume was supposed to be the flavour of coconut just from what the item description noted. My younger daughter was waiting for lunch so I diluted the sugary hot water and added some actual flavours to it, was somehow still very sweet but luckily she s not picky and 5 year olds like sugar. Couldn t revive whatever the other item sent to me that was listed as Tom Kha on the menu, she was DOA. My daughter and I both aren t picky but this was on a whole other level of inedible. Restaurant can reply asking for pics or whatever but if you d like to see and try for yourself, just make an order.
This restaurant is amazing! The food is incredible and the portions are soo generous. It is clean, friendly, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend it if you re in Orleans!
I usually take out order the Tom Yum soup (Large) and it is SOOOO good. Like, amazing. It comes with mushrooms, shrimp and tofu. The broth is so flavorful I dont ask for noodles (they come on the side) because the soup is the star of the show. So lucky T Basil is in the neighbourhood! :)
We love coming here, its our go too spot. The pho is fantastic as well. Great for those sick days or any day
I had a very good chicken stir fry. Everything was fresh. On the down side its the look and the cleanliness. It needs to be refreshed. The chairs are dusty and walls need cleaning. I went but will not return for that reason unfortunately. Food
Food was awesome, G7 BBQ pork vermicelli and garlic shrimp, ate every bite
Loved what we ordered. Portions are big.
The food is excellent. I visited TBasil with every intention of taking photos for this review. It was so delicious that I forgot to take photos because I was busy eating! I had to order a 2nd plate of rice because their dishes are very generous! I believe I found my new favourite Thai restaurant.
My absolute favourite wonton soup in the city. Good, soul-filling food.
Really good food. Fresh and delicious! Parking: Many.
Always good food.
Was advised to check out T Basil by friends. What a true gem. Every dish we had was fantastically fresh, expertly prepared, wonderfully presented, and generously portioned. 10/10
We love the food! Tho is a hidden Gem Must try this restaurant. Everything we ever had is fantastic! Food
This our go-to restaurant for healthy and hearty fare at very reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My favorite is the vegan eggplant thing while my husband loves the Tom-kha soups. I highly recommend!
Kind and friendly service from Thuy on the phone. Even more welcoming and friendly in person. Food was also A1! Great job Thuy! -Kevin
I tried this place for the first time. In general, Im a soup maniac so I ordered the starter portion of the chicken wonton soup (not typical pork)....Alright so under $10 bucks I got 5 or 6 big wonton chicken, CHICKEN in a delicious broth with fresh crunchy veggies. I got soya sauce & salt/pepper on the side. I was full and Im still craving it. Thank you xo
Not good. Not Thai. Not authentic. WARNING: many vegetarian dishes are not. They contain fish sauce, etc. Ordered chicken Pad Thai - it was basically chicken and noodles. No vegetables, no chives, no peanuts(!). This is not pad Thai. And it cost $16. Never going back.
Love their shrimp rice rolls and peanut sauce
Shout out to T Basil for an exceptional vegetarian meal. The papaya salad and mock chicken satay were out of this world, the service was friendly, and the price was reasonable. Our first time there and we ll definitely be going back.
I had the vegetarian pad thai. It was a nice large portion and delicious! Vegetarian options: Lots! Food : 5/5 |
i was in need of some cheering up with food but it didnt really work. ordered vermicelli pork takeout. didnt feel like leaving a tip esp. with the high cost, i know that is controversial and can lead to decrease in service/food quality. over $17 and the dish is a medium portion with mostly just noodles & pork. it made me sad. no mint, cilantro, or basil in a place called tbasil??? come on... herbs are really important! no bean sprouts. no hot sauce, just some kind of liquid sauce comes standard. I cant speak to any other dish as i wont be back, but i dont recommend this. nothing wrong with the pork, but it makes me sad to eat knowing how much i spent. i make really flavorful ramen with mostly cheap ingredients & i will just go for that next time. similar waiting time for both. learning to cook your own easy meals is so good for your well being & wallet! this is just how it seems to go in suburgatory.... either i cook for myself, or my depression gets worse. it was just okay & i didnt find it worth the cost. maybe you will have a better time. Vegetarian options: a page for non meat eaters in the back.
The patio was wonderful with our two dogs. The servers, were polite and very friendly. Even came out to pet the dogs after our meal. The food was incredible in taste, presentation and portion size. Many families were patrons at this establishment. With more simple Thai food available to those with picky eaters. The chicken pad Thai is a must try. I will definitely bring friends and family again to this establishment. Vegetarian options: On the menu they had an entire section dedicated to vegetarian meals and options. It was truly refreshing to see such a wide array.
Do not recommend T Basil. All of the Chicken Pad Thai noodles were stuck together, and there was minimal sauce, no bean sprouts, and lacked a lot of flavour, the only flavour I tasted was fish. I couldnt eat more than a couple bites. The lunch deal did not come with the wonton soup as it states it does and when I called, they told me they dont do the wonton soup, they give a spring roll. All I can say is yikes...
The chicken pad Thai noodles were all stuck together, there was barely any sauce and the flavour was incredibly bland. The portion was also much smaller than other restaurants. I will not eat here again and would not recommend it.
Great service! Amazing food!
Nice Thai/Vietnamese restaurant located on the southside of St-Joseph Blvd in Orléans. Great service, great food at very competitive prices.
I regularly order from TBasil and frequently get the meal size Tom Yum as take out. It has the perfect heat level and a rich broth that makes Thai Express version taste like water. The pho and curry dishes are also great, as are the spring and summer rolls (I like the vegetarian ones). I do suggest you avoid the Phad Thai here, it is lackluster, but everything else shines.
Best mango salad!!!
Excellent pad Thai!!
Delicious!!!! 1000% recommend
They cook SWEET PHO with a lots MSG. I still feel sick after eating it. Not recommend this place!
perhaps the best vegan pad Thai EVER Staff was amazing Food
I drank the broth. So. Good.
Solid spot.
This is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in the Ottawa area. They are consistently delicious and their ingredients are fresh. Unlike a lot of places, they actually include rice with their curries, they bring you water without you having to ask. I dont live in Orleans, but this is where I come when I want Thai.
Very authentic and delicious!
Super good food! The owner Thuy is the nicest person out there and the staff makes insanely good quality food. Best Vietnamese food I ve ever had hands down. Must try!
Service was excellent. Food arrived piping hot.
Obviously I ordered cause the place I usually would was an hour and a half wait. Should have waited cause the pad Thai was not good at all and portions weee tiny. Tasted and looked like Kraft dinner with ketchup and the noodles were all stuck together. The spring roll was odd cause the rice paper was thick. Sort of like eating a deep fried won ton wrapped spring roll. The mango salad wasn t that bad but the basil was wilted and turning brownish. Would not recommend this place at all. Might as well eat at Thai express and save 65$.
Very plain restaurant, definitely not a fine dining experience. Table service left a lot to be desired (plate served half hanging off the edge of the table, or just handed directly to us to put down on the table ourselves. Food (chicken pad thai and spicy noodles with beef) was borderline passable; have definitely had way better at this price elsewhere. Portions were small. But the appetizer spring rolls were good, at least. Side note: dont have the Sake; worst sake Ive ever had - swill.
It was our 3rd visit to this Thai restaurant and everything was delicious as usual. Great selection, great food and great service every time. Looking forward to going again.
I ve been here several times and I always find that the food isn t fresh or good quality. Meat is always full of cartilage and chewy.
Exquisite!
This is the best curry of my life. We got the two vegetarian curries. And I...was blown away. I had to sit after each bite, contemplating my life, that it took me this long to eat here. In sum, eat here.
Ive only eaten here once for takeout. My workplace ordered lunch from here on a Saturday. The general consensus from the staff was that the food smelled and tasted odd - aside from me none of the staff finished their meals and some wouldnt even take more than one bite. My meal was alright but definitely had an odd taste to it and I found the sauce to be a bit more of a liquid consistency than I would like. Thankfully my meal did not upset my stomach - but the whole experience was enough for me to decide not to eat here again.
Expensive food with lackluster flavours. Chicken pad Thai particularly bland with the strongest flavour being fish sauce. Yellow curry not much better. Will not be going back.
This was by far the worst PAD TAI I have ever had. It was for take-out and we ordered veggie pad tai and spring rolls. There was NO tofu in the pad tai AT ALL! It was dried noodles and 2 pieces of carrots only. The spring rolls were greasy and gross. A total waste of $ I wouldn t recommend these items at all. NO TOFU!?
Had take out from T Basil a few months ago and it was delicious. Ate in the restaurant last night and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service. Will definitely go back next time I m in the area.
Great Thai food
Food and service was very good. Restaurant was clean. Would definitely recommend and go back.
Hubby & I tried T Basil last night. Excellent food & Great service. He had the deluxe basil pad tai with chicken & shrimp. I had the vegetarian mock chicken& vegetable pad tai in peanut sauce. We will be repeat customers.
This is by far the best Bun Bo Hue in the city. We order almost weekly and the food is consistently amazing! The staff and owners are so welcoming and friendly.
I have never seen such polarizing reviews for a restaurant. In the end I join the ranks of those who did not have a good experience. I ordered the Vietnamese vermicelli. The grilled pork was actually bland. The meat was not tender. Everything else in the dish was fine. In terms of service, when I walked in the man stared at me like he couldnt figure out why I was there. Given that it was lunch hour on a weekday, youd think its obvious Im there to order food. I had to to greet HIM to get the ball rolling.
The Tom Yum soup was really good. Hotter and more sour than often prepared- delicious.
Reliably good blend of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine with friendly service. When a place has been around this long you know its good.
Quality seems to be slipping lately; Not sure whats happened to our last couple of orders. Not as fresh tasting , and REALLY salty.
Excellent food and service, nice quiet ambiance
Service was amazing and the food was delicious. Definitely going back
The broth for the pho was bland, the peanuts sauce for the shrimp rolls was equally as disapointing. You can get much better pho in Orleans.
Good food. Great service and hospitality.
Picked up take out dinner for 4 from TBasil which has been a preferred location for weekday lunches on occasion with my daughter for a long time. Tonight was a celebration dinner with friends. We ordered & picked up the meals & returned home. The food was nice and hot. Guest 1 selected the V7 Veg w tofu & crispy noodle + V2 veg rolls; 2nd guest selected the C2 Panang curry with shrimp and V2 Veg rolls. Both of these meals looked good and smelled great although I noticed the C2 guest left pretty much all of her rice & sauce. Hubby & I both ordered the X2 Pad Thai. I ordered mine with only shrimp and he ordered his with shrimp and chicken. That was the first problem. When I was placing that part of the order I had to repeat that it was one X2 with shrimp and one X2 with chicken & shrimp a couple of times. What we got was anything but that. Yes, it was Pad Thai but it had mystery meat (sorry Im not really sure whether it was beef or pork or both), chicken, shrimp, and tofu. That was a bit disappointing for me as Im strictly a shrimp person and my husband is not a fan of tofu and then asked me what the mystery meat was. Our A1 spring rolls were excellent with a nice crispy golden wrap and hot tasty stuffing so that was a promising start however the rest of the meal not quite so pleasing. There was what appeared to be crumbled or finely chopped peanuts on top and a few bean sprouts but the overall dishes, aside from having the wrong toppings, merited a better flavour/taste as it was quite bland, plus a bit of chopped cilantro for colour & fresh flavour was sorely missing. I wasnt looking for hot/spicy but some flavour that was a bit more distinctive would have made it better. I would also recommend the lime wedges be sent in a separate bag as they were also hot to the touch. Our V7 crispy noodle guest enjoyed her meal and her V2 rolls and had no comment except she was satisfied with her meal. As we had expectations for good food we were disappointed in the quality of the X2 and more so with the error of the pad thai topping of the mixed meat/shrimp product instead of what we ordered. I truly enjoyed my last lunch take out from TBasil of delicious won ton soup and fresh roll with shrimp, and may just stick to lunch from them for now.
Ordered Tom Yum soup (only had Tofu, Mushrooms and Chicken). Wished it had noodles, bean sprouts and some shredded vegetables. Broth was good. Also, ordered Pad Thai which came in a small quantity. Not the best tasting in Orleans.
The food is incredible! Especially the pho!
Skilled chef and amazing food!
Horrible service but the food is so good that I always return.
Beware of food poisoning. Not my first time at a Thai/Viet restaurant but oh boy I had a bad experience here last Saturday. Service was generally okay, I sat and had my soup, I started feeling cramps in my stomach and was weak shortly after I left there. I had a pho soup with some sea food in it. I suspect the soup/seafood was not properly cooked. I vomited 5 times until all the food left my body, Im glad I did not suffer diarrhoea. Beware of food poisoning here and what you order.
Hands down some of the best dishes in Orleans. I had the G8 i think it was. (Chicken and Beef dish) You must try this dish. The beef is so tender and delicious. The Chicken is Perfect. I will be coming here way more often.
Mango salad was awesome
Great food. Too expensive.
Portions small and very expensive
Rip off. $50 and not enough for 2 people. Crispy beef had more vegetables than meat. Fried rice was white soggy rice with some vegetables added to it. Big rip off. Never ever going back there. We paid cash and the receipt they gave us said not paid means they pocket the HST and don t pay taxes. See receipt photo
Ordered last night, food was piping hot, well flavored and in excellent quantity. The Tom Gha and Red Curry were excellent!
Ordered take out tonight. Fair price, loads of flavour. Ill order from here again.
Love this place... whatever I bring home is a hit! I walk in place my order and they bring it out when it s ready! Ohh the days of Covid Almost time for takeaway dinner tonight!
Food was delivered still warm it was perfect !!! Excellent food we had the c1 and c2 with mango salad for sure we will order there again !
Consistently fantastic food
Best thai food.
Disappointing and over-priced. Sad to say this because the other reviews seemed good but I paid almost $90 to feed my partner and I and the food was incredibly bland. No flavoursome smells or bright vivid colours you would expect to see in an authentic Thai dish. Hopefully just a one off occurrence that happened to us but its enough for me to stick to other Thai establishments in the future.
The food here is always fantastic and the staff are so friendly. Its our favorite place to go for pho!
Won t be eating here again after suffering food poisoning from this place. Noodles were rock hard. Chicken was not cooked, it also had a funny taste. Dumplings were excessively greasy.
Wasnt done with my meal around 8:30 and was told they closing since its covid. Very fast to take my money and shoe me out. No customer service, not even a napkin! The soup was gross, murky brown broth and pink meat. The spring roll was drenched in grease. I dont recommend going here. The staff could care less about your patronage.
I dont normally give bad reviews because its someones livelihood. But this is by far one of the worst meals as a family, weve eaten. No flavours and the most mushy tomatoey pad Thai???? The chicken was dry and the shrimp was overcooked. The spring rolls were drenched in oil and burnt. My partners meal had no flavor and there was hardly anything but noodles. I hope that the restaurant takes into consideration that the last few reviews reflect the changes in the kitchen that may need to happen, to maintain their business in such harsh times. TBasil, I hope you see the value in these reviews and consider a revamp.
The service was very good and waiter helpful in explaining ingredients. Had one of the vegan coconut curry dishes with the veg chicken which was outstanding
Big variety and great prices! Very friendly staff and a cozy & quiet atmosphere. Lovely place for breakfast & brunch.
My favourite Thai place to visit! I always eat too much as everything is so good. Menu has many options but would recommend the mango salad. Best Ive ever had.
Great service, good food and reasonable price for breakfast. I am hoping to try a lunch next time.
Absolutely my favourite place to eat. This is where I go on my birthday! I have been there multiple times and I usually order one of their soups. Their broths are exceptional. I have brought different people on different occasions, and all of them were very impressed with their meal that they picked. Very nice staff, clean, welcoming!
Excellent pad thai. Good service.
Chicken was pink in the middle.
Good food and service reasonable prices pleasant relaxed atmosphere
Only issue is they rush you out at 2om as they close after lunch
Went there last month. The place is nice and server is very nice. As for the food. It was just ok. Nothing special. I may have went on a bad day but we ordered take out and I had to re cook my food. My padthai chicken the noodle was rubbery and the chicken was undercook. The sauce just taste like sugar ketchup The rest of the food I order was cooked and was ok. Will not be going back.
Average thai and pho. More $ than other places. Chicken tasted like it was a chicken loaf.
Omg wow this place. Best food. Best service. The pad Thai is out of this world!!! And the Tom yum soup is a must. Also try the spring rolls, so great
Very plain, not much sauce or veggies. Tried the pad Thai, vegetarian vermicelli and papaya salad. They were all nothing special
Food is horrible, my first and last time just wanted to help out the local business community, the pho broth is sweet and discussing....never again
Overpriced for its quality. Better options in Orleans.
The food is always fresh and tasty and the service is excellent. Have been coming here for years with my sons. Highly recommend the Thai food.
I ordered via Skip the Dishes and it was ok. The spring rolls were oddly mushy on the inside, and the chicken was kind of hard on the outside, but everything tasted fine. You get a good portion of food. I ate it all anyway.
Really happy we found this place! We are fairly new to the area and this is the best Pad Thai we ve had since Moving back to Canada! The grilled shrimp is amazing! The salmon is beyond wonderful I really meant to take pictures of our food tonight but it was devoured! And 3 meals for $40 was amazing. Can t wait for restaurants to be open again some day so we can come back here for a proper sit down supper. For now very happy and very grateful to have this so close to home for take out!
First time going tonight and food was amazing! Will definitely go again! We decided to sit outside on the patio and was received nicely. Service was great.
I first heard of TBasil from my clients who live in Hawkesbury. They would drive over 45 minutes for TBasil. So, of course I had to try this restaurant. After countless visits, TBasil is hands down the best Thai and Vietnamese restaurant in Ottawa, not only Orleans! I love their quality and attention to detail. While other place will serve PHO without basil and bean sprouts, TBasil never disappoints! The lemongrass pho is to die for... everything here is amazing! Especially the delicious soups
Good food and service; were quick and responsive.
Price increased while portion decreased. I understand covid impact on that sector of industry but... greed? + Food soso as well as service.
The vegetarian menu is excellent!
Such good food and service!
Ordered chicken satay tonight. Got it home & cut up for kids. Was RAW! Not undercooked, overseasoned, etc was completely raw. As if someone put frozen chicken in the fryer for a few seconds- crispy outside, raw inside. Please stop serving raw chicken to kids.
AMAZING FOOD!!! Everytime I eat there, it s like heaven in my mouth!!
We went there for lunch. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. I had a bun bo hue and my wife had a chicken pad Thai. Flavour of both was ok, however there were plenty of meat.
This Restaurant is excellent. Their Fusion Rolls are just so so good. Their curry dish is excellent and their spring rolls are excellent. Their Pad Thai 2 thumbs up. Please Orleans Residents try this Vietnamese Restaurant and let everyone know how Excellent this Restaurant is. FOR SURE 5 STARS.
Ive ordered from here a few times and was very happy with the quality of the food. Great vegetarian options!! Theyve become my regular take out restaurant.
Love this place! Its quiet and quaint with amazing food, and friendly staff. Good place for a date night!
Very good food..also not expensive
Always great food!!!
Great food, never had a bad meal. Service is very friendly.
Great breakfast, large portions, very good service. Highly recommended.
Good Thai food. Nice selection, friendly staff and enjoyable ambience.
Great staff! Great food! Great prices! Sunday breakfast/brunch is delicious as is the entire menu.
Great
The BEST Thai food in the Ottawa area!
Family run joint where the Owner is the nicest lady and she is in the kitchen, cooking!!
The food here is absolutely fantastic to say the least. Leon was super friendly, his hospitality was amazing, and he recommended great choices. Were not super experimental people when it comes to food but everything we ate was absolutely divine! The food and flavours tasted so authentic, an experience you cant get at a mainstream restaurant. Very nice food presentation and very clean/tidy environment with super nice owners and staff. Highly, highly recommend to anyone! Thanks Leon for having us! Hope to see you again soon... BTPE831 & Karine
Atmosphere is depressing and disappointing. Presentation of the main course of Basil Noodles with Shrimp/Chicken was extremely unappealing. I will never return.
Very good food. My 1st time there
Food was great and very reasonably price! The owner took the time to see all tables making sure the food was good .
My go to place for Thai/Vietnamese food in Orleans. Service is very fast, food is fresh, prices are excellent. Very good Green Papaya Salad and curry dishes. I find that their Pad Thai is not the best (to my taste) but I liked everything else I tried. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed!
Lunch special very good and inexpensive - Thai / Asian style
Excellent food and service. More than just Thai. Great breakfast
Yummy food
Great flavourful food, hot, fast, and friendly service. Great small town atmosphere in downtown Orleans!
Always delicious
I must have been there on a very bad night because my food was horrible. Freshly microwaved noodles and rubbery chicken-like blobs. Flies accompanied us at the table and I found a big hair in my plate. I will definately not return. On the bright side, the service was good and the kids liked the fries and chicken nuggets.
Delicious food! My favourites are the pho and the pad thai. Good value for the price, large serving sizes!
Excellent food. Friendly and courteous staff. I have been going there since they opened. Their spicy escargot is fantastic and they have a seafood pho that is my personal favorite. Try it - you will not be disappointed.
Very friendly, helpful staff. And the food is so good. Recommend trying that Pad Thai.
Excellent thaï food
Food and and service are both great. The fried wontons and red curry are absolutely amazing.
Awesome food and friendly/helpful staff. The menu has numbers beside everything in case you cant pronounce something. Definitely worth checking out.
Their pho soups are what gets me coming back repeatedly
Worst breakfast Ive ever had. Paid 12$ for the big breakfast. Bacon was undercooked and super stringy. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and all one piece. There were a total of 9 homefries. Unseasoned. French toast had no flavor. Both my partner and I had the same breakfast and both were super disappointing. Weve never walked out on a breakfast before. Still charged us for one plate. Didnt even eat 3 bites out of either dish. Spend your money elsewhere!
Just had the worst breakfast at this restaurant and everything from the coffee to the homefries was bad. Everything undercooked (bacon,,eggs, homefries, sausages and french toast). Highly DONT recommend. Ive personally never complained about a meal. Oh and they still charged us.
Amazing food, Great service, Good prices.
Customer service here is horrible. Two of the items in my order were wrong when I ordered for delivery and when I called to complain, the man on the phone just argued with me. Number one rule in the service industry is that the customer is always right, proper training is definitely needed here. I just hung up on the man because he was incessantly arguing back any comment I had to make.
Server was friendly, but other staff were loud while chatting about their day. I ordered the crispy noodles -it was bland.
One of my favorite restaurants in Orleans
No complaints here. Got some really good viet and thai meals :)
Friendly staff Lots of parking FAST service AWESOME food!!!! Definitely recommended and I will be returning!
Food was average. It wasn t a busy time when we went so they weren t really around much, but it took us about 10 minutes to get their attention so we could pay.
Very good. Ill be back
Great food
Excellent place for lunch - great value for money - try the Eggs Benedict Oscar - succulent Hollandaise sauce and asparagus
