The Kabab Shoppe in Oshawa

This place is actually amazing the customer service is unbelievable. Get the tandoori chicken bowl half rice half fries extra sauce it s unbelievable. I ll be back extremely often and the entire meal was 12$ you can t go wrong here !!!

Decided to try this spot for the first time tonight and everything was SO delicious! The tandoori chicken bowls were amazing! fluffy rice, tender chicken and incredible authentic flavors. The garlic sauce is probably one of the best Ive ever had... nothing worse than a garlic sauce that lacks a strong garlic flavor, no problem here! The other hit was the samosas as the flavors and spices tasted fresh and they were perfectly crisp on the outside, with a soft flavourful mixture of spices, potatoes and veggies inside. The portions were also massive, you wont go hungry!! I asked my husband what he thought, and he quickly replied, Oh easy 10/10. We used to live downtown Toronto and since moving out here its been hard finding solid authentic spots comparable to restaurants there. We will definitely be coming back and Ill let my foodie friends know this is a great spot!

I tried the kabab didn t seem fresh but still delicious. However, the chicken tandoori is the best and I cannot find a restaurant like them.

We ve ordered at this location a handful of times and each time, they have messed up our order. Simple chicken breast bowl (with rice and salad) and each time, it ends up either the tandoori bowl and spicy , or chicken with no rice and only salad, or no salad at all and chicken and rice only. The amount of times we ve had to call the store back and waste more of our evenings driving back for our correct order, makes it more and more inconvenient for us. We will start using another location.

Will not return to this place for food. The rice was dry the kebab was dry with limited flavor and the nan was dry and borderline stale. Actually I felt like it was grocery store nan. Was very disappointed in the meal.

Last time I was there 3 years ago I expected a good chelokabab and I was disapointed. They better send their cook to some good kabab house in Toronto to learn. I live in Durham and if they made a good kabab I would go there twice a week. At the time they had also a high review and nice pictures.

First off i like that this place says open till 3AM. The food, flavours, portion size, and prices are good. Fast service, clean place, and has limited seatings. Parking available as well.

The food was so good. That would be if they didn t add extra cucumber and hot sauce which we didn t ask for. And if they didn t remove cucumber and hot sauce on another.

Horrible wrap I ever ate..it was just boiled chicken put in the wrap. The veggies were also cut in big sizes. Even the sauces were tasteless..very disappointed. Would never go here again.

One of our favourite places in Oshawa. Tried other locations but none are like this. Quality and service is 100%. Portions to prices is such good value. This place is CONSISTENT - this is so important. Everything is very tasty, healthy and fresh nothing is oily or over/under cooked. Clean meat and made with love and care.

Nice food in Oshawa. We tried their family combo and it was fresh and tasty. Staff is very professional and friendly. Relatively small space with limited seats but nice and clean. The only major issue we experienced was that their washroom door wouldn t close. :( We ll definitely visit again when next in Oshawa.

The food has always been consistently delicious! Loved the butter chicken bowl and the chapli kabab burger. The fries were really good too. Pukaar was in particular very accommodating and courteous to us and his fellow colleagues as well. Definitely coming back here again

Went here today and ordered the chaplee kebab once again, amazing taste as always!

First time ordered through uber eats. Buy one get one but food was not eatable. The wrap was uncooked and tasted raw and falafel inside was uncooked too. Barely finished it.

Amazing place to have some fusion food! From kebabs to sheesh and more. Manager was friendly and also gave me complimentary spring rolls to try. And more importantly the place is open till 3 am!

A coworker recommended this place to me. Its in the same plaza as our work, so I can get there, get my food, and get back in just under ten minutes, since the service is so fast. The same person has been behind the counter every time I went and shes so so sweet! Its a really cozy place and Ive never been disappointed with the food, even when I try something new. Dietary restrictions: Their food is all halal and they also always ask if you want anything removed. Parking: It can get kind of busy in the plaza sometimes, but as far as I know, the whole lot is full of parking spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: There are dips in the sidewalk so you can wheel onto it as well as plenty of space inside, including next to the tables if you came with friends!

Their food is tasty, fresh, and reasonably priced for the generous serving sizes. If youre looking for a great late-night meal thats also healthy alternative, The Kabab Shoppe is the place to be!

I hate to write bad reviews for food shops, but I have tried lot of afghan restaurants, this didnt look authentic , rice was tasteless, meat kabab was not fresh, plus the portions was not like the real afghan places, beside its pricey for the simple seating area and quality of food

We came for late night food, extremely disappointed. Was told their kabab would be juicy. Not only was it dry, it was a frozen beef patty claimed to be chuplee kabab. Was unable to even get three bites into the food before having to leave and get food nearby. Definitely not coming back

Very very delicious! A little bit pricey for what you get, but always satisfying and hits the spot! Only real gripe is there never seems to be seating available for some reason, been 5 times and theres always families taking up all the seating, but not a huge deal since you can easily take-out :)
