We had booked reservations over 2 weeks prior for a dinner event with 35-40 people. They were nowhere near prepared for us with only 2 waitresses for the whole restaurant, no bartender on shift. We waited over an hour for our drinks (including canned beverages), and over 2 hours for our food. We almost had to leave before getting our meals as we were going to miss our callback time. The young waitress on shift, Nupar, was AMAZING and did her very best but was put under severe pressure due to lack of proper scheduling from management. This was an extremely horrible experience and I would never dine here again nor would I ever recommend it to anyone. The food was absolutely horrible, the drinks were horrible, the service was horrible. The only thing good about this was our server, Nupar, who was attentive but at the end of the night I felt extremely bad for due to the situation she was put in that she clearly should have had more help with. One server for almost 40 people? Absolutely not okay. I left no tip as no tip was deserved for this horrible establishment, but I later returned with a giftcard for this young woman who tried her hardest to make sure we were all taken care of. Just down right disgusting how management handled a reservation with weeks notice. Not to mention they RAN OUT OF CUPS during our visit. I have never heard of a restaurant running out of cups? Absolutely horrible experience. I hope Nupar finds a better establishment to work at that respects her and her work ethic as this place is clearly abusing it’s staff.
I genuinely don't understand how this place has so many positive reviews. I'm not one to complain but people need to be aware. We walked in and right away it smelled dingy and very run down- not a great start but we pushed through. We were greeted, seated and got our menus right away- about the only positive thing I can say. We ordered drinks and our pop was flat and tasted funny. We ordered our main and requested a side of mayo with the fries. When the food came- with no mayo- I requested a side of mayo again and was told it would be right out. 5 minutes later, my boyfriend went up to the bar to get said mayo. The food itself was disgusting. We ordered pickle chips and they were incredibly overcooked and the oil that was used was very old. We had a chicken wrap and fries and the chicken was very clearly frozen chicken finger strips (not even the good ones). The only thing decent were the fries. After we finished our meal we waited over 15 minutes to get our check and to clear our plates (for context, there was one other group of people in there that were only drinking beer- and they had to request a refill multiple times during our time there). I had to go up to the bar to request that we get our cheque as we had to go- I can't even imagine how much longer we would've had to wait had I not gone up and got their attention. In short, awful service, very rundown and gross food. 0/10 recommend.
I recently visited , and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the bar was concerning—tables were sticky, and the overall environment felt neglected. To make matters worse, the food arrived cold, which made it unappetizing and disappointing. It’s clear the kitchen staff is working hard, but the quality didn’t reflect it. What really stood out, though, was the lack of attention from the bartender. she seemed disinterested in serving customers, focusing more on chatting among themselves than ensuring patrons were taken care of. It’s a shame because with a bit more effort in cleanliness, customer service, and food quality, this place could have potential. Sadly, I can’t recommend it based on my visit .THIS PLACE SOULD JUST SHUT DOWN.
Great experience!! Awesome food👍👍 Chefs are really good and makes anything you want. Bartenders are sweet and very friendly. Prices are great!! Owners are friendly and easy to talk too. Would recommend for anyone wanting good food and drinks.

The ambiance added to the charm, with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that made it the perfect spot to unwind before the show. This restaurant boasts an excellent location close to the Tribute Centre. My experience is that serving staff were very friendly to guests, but unable to keep up after the dinner rush. I had the Madrock burger which was overly seasoned with salt and pepper, but once my order was taken, it was hot and served with ample fries. Some kitchen staff were quarreling in the seating area which made it uncomfortable for restaurant guests. Tables remained dirty for the approximate hour that I was there. Parking is ample in the area and the restaurant is on the ground level and very accessible. If given the opportunity, I will re-visit my review with an improved experience.
It's one of my favorite sports bars in Downtown Oshawa. Nice ambiance and tasty food. Service was quick and nice. Enjoyed my visit
Perfect location for those who are heading to a Generals game, Concert or just browsing the downtown core. The interior is decorated nicely with lots of sports memorabilia. There are plenty of tables, booths and seats available at the bar. The patio has lots of tables and umbrellas for those who wish to enjoy the sunshine. 🌞 There are more TV's than I can count so any sports fan can watch their event. Go Bills! 🏈 We had: 🌟Mushroom Spinach Ravioli Pasta 🌟Butter Chicken Poutine 🌟Classic Burger 🌟Wings •Caribbean Jerk•Hot Hawaiian• 🌟Fajitas 🌟Chocolate Fudge Brownie We enjoyed every dish we tried. I would highly recommend the butter chicken poutine. It was saucy and delicious; A good portion size too. (Next time I'll try the Mexican Poutine) The wings were sauced well and they had a wide variety of sauces to choose from. The Mushroom Spinach Ravioli were stuffed with lots of delicious stuffing and sauced in a creamy rose sauce. The chocolate fudge brownie was definitely chocolatey and fudge-y. The perfect portion for two to split at the end of a meal. It was served warm and was rich and creamy. I had a Tropical Paradise cocktail and my other half had a Blue Lagoon. Both were picturesque and tasted delicious. The tropical paradise might be my new favorite drink! Service was great and our hostess Cece was an absolute delight. I'll definitely be stopping by again to try some of their other dishes and have a pint. 🍻

Love Music? Writing my review based on musical experiences here on Friday nights. Place is cozy small but people that go there actually dance and enjoy themselves. DJ Jex Pro Beats effortlessly mixes music throughout the night. As a music head he will surprises me by smoothly crossing genres. Never know what he will play next. Acoustics are great, music is fire! I don t drink personally but I know they have 2 for 1 drink specials for ladies and $3 shots before 11:30. If you local there are places like 504 and Chasers that provide similar music, but not quite like this cozy little spot. Recommend on a Friday!

Ive been here a few times now amazing wings for 10$ to go with a 5$ pint plenty of flavors for the wings there smash burger is good ,deep fried pickles with Chipotle, chedder bacon perogies and deep fried mozzarella stick there has not been anything I didnt like. First and last time I eat here. Had to wait for the food even though my pickup order said it was ready. They gave me a pack of plastic cutlery with only a knife in it and there was hair in my food so I didn t even eat it. Worst experience!

My buddies and I were in Oshawa for a work trip and decided to give Madrocks a try. Our waitress Nupur, despite being the only server in at the time was fantastic and very attentive. I ordered the smash burger and basically enabled it, it was so good. Definitely recommend!

We were seated at a table and given menus and waited over 25 minutes and no one came to take our order or check in on us. The bartenders priority were the drunk locals ordering beer. We are ended up walking out and going to a different establishment.

This place sucks. They have a ton of fake reviews. I was there before the concert on Tuesday nights. Nobody was getting good service. Ordered smash burger. It was just 2 frozen paddies. I sat without drink for 45 min. And it took 30 min to get our bill

For some reason this was the only place that was open at 2pm on a Saturday after I had an appointment, so I went in for a late lunch. BLT was good, fries were perfectly crispy, there was only one guy running the whole place for the morning/afternoon but he did great.

Went in no one came to seat us I had to go up to the bar to find a table. Waited 15 mins for someone to take our drink order. They never came so went to the bar and ordered two drinks and paid for them right away as many tables were waiting for their bills and didn t wanna get stuck like them. Talking to a guy had waited an hour for wings. Another table ordered drinks and had waited 45 mins and never got them. Table of 8 had waited over an hour to get the bill. Nobody in that restaurant had any idea what they were doing. Will never be back. Was better when it was crack time.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening in Oshawa today. We came for the classic car show. We were delighted to discover this comfortable and friendly pub right in the heart of Oshawa. Not only were the fellow patrons friendly and sociable, but their is a young lady named Sim who went over and above to make us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Also the wings were delicious, we will definitely return and recommend this place to everyone.

I have been here twice and was overcharged both times. The first time was during their grand opening week so they had grand opening specials. I was charged the full price for my food as opposed to the special price but caught it and had them change it. The food was a chicken wrap and there was very little chicken and a ton of lettuce. Well below average compared to similar products Ive had at other restaurants. Unfortunately I didnt catch I was overcharged for my drink until after I had left but just let it go as human error. I went back last night and was again overcharged. I was not given an itemized bill so all I had to go on was the amount on the credit card machine. I thought it looked too high but just chalked it up to everything being expensive these days. In hindsight I should have insisted on seeing the itemized bill. This morning I decided to look up the menu because the amount seemed too high for 1 drink and some garlic bread with cheese. Sure enough I was overcharged by a couple dollars again. Thats twice in 2 visits so I will never spend another cent there. Ive learned my lesson.

Food came out fast for the kids. However, Ordered the mushroom Swiss. Couldn t eat it because the bun was stale and meat was over cooked. Only good thing about our experience. And drinks were fine. Unfortunately the service wasn t impressive.
We went here because of good reviews, however they tried to overcharge us. We asked for our bill and the waitress just brought the machine over with a total of $129...seemed high So I asked for the actual itemized bill. She said I could only see it on the ipad, or she could print one out?! Yeah, print one out. When she came back with it she explained there were a couple Fajitas added on by mistake so she took those off and only charged for one shot in the ceasar instead of a double shot. It actually tasted like it had zero shots, so thanks! Bottom line, go somewhere else. This place is dishonest.
We were there before an Oshawa Generals. Asked for a Ceasar. They offered a tall one with an extra shot. In the picture you can see the Caesar was almost clear. It definitely didnt taste like there was any alcohol in it. We were also overcharged for our meal. When we asked for our bill the waitress only brought the machine to pay. Once we asked for the actual bill she took off $30 worth of extra stuff from the bill. Looking at other reviews here this is not the first time this happened.
Not a food review as we went in late where the place takes on a night club atmosphere. A glass of red and a bar rail drink (looked like 1oz) came to $23+. Cocktail bar prices for a what tasted like pop in a plastic cup and no garnish. The security person and bartender were friendly, so I gave a star for each of them.

Good food and great service
the bartender was really nice BUT when i looked on google at the menu it didnt say that there were onions, peppers etc in my food it just said on the menu shrimp mushrooms and Fettuccine plus the portion size is just appalling. i paid 23$ for this little container. i get more food at east side marios on the kids meal. there were so many good reviews so i thought it would be a good place to try but i took one bite and couldnt eat anymore so the rest will just get thrown out.
