Nothing special. Seems like a seniors hangout during the day. Im told the youngsters show up later and it gets a bit rowdier.

I watched the Superbowl game there, and played some chess Parking: There is plenty of parking there in the parking lot beside Stags Head and on the street. Food : 5/5 |

I dont normally leave a bad review. But this place needs to hear it .not impressed to say the least. Maybe because Im not a local, but I sat at the bar for 5 minutes before the waitress noticed me. I almost left (should have). Asked for a Guinness she started pouring it all wrong, stopped halfway, than forgot to come back (almost left again) Anyway I wont be back! Also didnt even ask if I wanted a menu .

Selena is absolutely amazing. Shes attentive and stern, but super compassionate and can tell when you need to talk from a mile a way. Also the chicken wings and lasagna are amazing

Had a horrible experience here last night, me my mother, her friend, and her boyfriend all got cut off and kicked out because of another guy who started a fight with us. Last time I go to this bar.

Girlfriend had two beers and was cut off the first hour was there, while stumbling people kept being able to buy next rounds. Bouncers as well as bartenders use own opinion entirely, instead of using proper smart serve protocol, like please god, stop getting shots bought for you and actually do your jobs

Wish I had discovered The Stags Head Pub And Grill earlier in my stay in downtown Oshawa. I didnt check any reviews before going, just decided to head out on Tuesday night from the hotel and look for a nearby place to eat. The Pub sign saidfine pub fare..ok...Ill give it a shot. I didnt expect to see such a big menu...lots of variety. I certainly didnt expect chicken fettacini alfredo..but it was there so I took a gamble on it. Wow.....Ive had alfredo at Italian restaurants and this dish at this pub puts some of them to shame. Excellent pasta perfectly cooked, more chicken than Ive ever seen in this dish at restaurants that charge a lot more. Presentation was excellent as was portions. The garlic bread served with the dish in triangles was a nice touch and sprinklings of parmesan along the side of the plate was nice as well. Creamy sauce was the right consistency that didnt gum up the noodles at all. This along with two draught beers was under $40!! Super service with just the right amount of table visits...server actually gave a little courtsey when I paid the bill. Highly recommend if you like great tasting food, decent pricing, good service and no frills as theres not really much ambiance to the place...but I wasnt there for that and I will visit again next time Im here as I hope my experience wasnt beginners luck.

Great place. Food was really good. Customer service was awesome. Stephanie is one of the best servers i have ever met. She made our expererience a memorable one. She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not rush us. She and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched.

We sat at their outdoor patio. One side had umbrellas, the other didnt. Staff was very friendly. Good prices, standard pub fare with soup, salads, burgers, pasta etc. I ordered the fishn chips which were well prepared but they didnt bring me the coleslaw. When I inquired they said they didnt have any...sorry a small piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato isnt the same.

I had the best experience ever at this pup. Went in for just a meal and a beer, the people were so friendly and the service and food was so good we stayed to the later hours. Where else can you lose your car keys and in a frantic panic the next morning call the pup. Sure enough the owner was there and said yup I have them come to the front door. WoW.....

Karaoke several nights a week and a decent group of regulars. Friendly staff and okay beer selection. Mainly though, the karaoke is the reason to go! Woo!

We were recently here at this Puff. Id like to say that their food selections are pretty good. The chef or cook knows how to prepare a lot of variety in food items. The portion that I got was very expanded. The staff and employees that work here are always very friendly and very courteous. They always attend to your tables and never leave you waiting.

I was blessed by great service, even though i accidentally spilled a drink! At one point, the help actually removed my empty glass from the table after I was done quite politely. It was busy for staff New Year, but we all had gentle fun, with new faces as great stranger company, and reasonable bouncers, professional, courteous, safe. The karaoke was willing to mold to your likes, treating the line up fair, keeping the vibe for everyone, with an awesome countdown. Young and Old mix elequently to the music, pool table, and multiple angled T.V.s with multiple things on. Despite my embarassing facade of dropping pop, I wasnt humiliated further because of good judgment. Less a Star for false advertising though, said open for three hours, and wasnt. Booking space to open, probably will fill one third the customers. Bar hopping for a single beer, lead to problems with another bar. Lesson, dont drink? Agitation indirect.

I tried to go here for a beer on a Sunday night. The bartender was extremely rude and informed me that she had already closed her register as she wanted to go home even though closing time was still 45 minutes away. They had a few customers on the patio who were also shocked at her attitude. I tried a second time to go here for a beer and the sign in the window said Open however there was no staff to be found. So they do not want the business during these times. Then they will not get mine. I cannot recommend anything about this place but to stay away from it.

Worst service ever, rude owner, I was there during COVID-19 and they sat me literally right beside someone so close our elbows were touching. Worst place ever never going there again.

One time my friend tipped the bartender 100$ instead of 10$. The bartender caught it, came over and reversed the charge for her. I immediately gave her 20$ out of my pocket for doing it. Because of that I will always have good things to say about this place.

UPDATE WAS ASSAULTED AGAIN BY THE BOUNCER . BAD VERY BAD FOR BUSSINESS AS IM DISABLED SHAME on this establishment for serving raw food five times to same customer.Shame on this establishment for allowing their bouncer to physically assault a disabled customer with a service dog. And to add insult to the assault. Banned disabled person from joining friends there. Two thumbs down . as the assault was caught on camera and the owner destroyed evidence this post is soley on the owner . the great servers and bartenders have nothing to do with the owners behavior

to stags. : I whitnessed the boumcer jeremy physically grab a patron who is disabled and try to remove her from the bar. She has done nothing wrong to be barred. I find it absolutly discusting that ur bar would allow this disabled person to be assaulted. I was willing to look past the food being raw on occasion however i wont return to ur bar for the sole reason your bouncer physically assaults a disabled person for no reason. And i will tell my friends not to go to ur bar for said reasons.

An exceptional dine and dash place. It was my first time at the Stag, and I enjoyed both my food and the atmosphere. Customer service was excellent, I am quite a picky eater- and the server had an ample knowledge of the ingredients in the food and shared his expertise. Presentation of the meal was beautiful , it was too good to even eat! I would definitely recommend this place, to high school and post secondary students who are on a budget. The price on the menu is affordable, unlike other fast food places that rip your wallet. Cannot wait to try their pasta again. Excellent work management team.

Have been coming to Stagshead for over a year. I would recommend this establishment in everyway. The owner and staff give us 110% in everything they do. There is not one item on the menu I would say I disliked and I have tried everything from the amazing chicken wings to Fridays Steak special. The Customer Appreciation is such a great time everyone gets involved. Dont think too hard about coming here always good times hate for you to miss something. Like to think we are regulars and have met many new friends. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!

This pub has a great atmosphere, and great service. Whats also cool is that theres a pool table, a great place to watch LIVE sports, and a fantastic jukebox. Will definitely go back to back. A truly phenomenal place for groups.

I went there last night and had a great time there. The customer service was amazing, the waitress that served us was so kind and offered us free refills and I had no issues at all there. There was also a pool table which we enjoyed. The food was amazing I got the chicken alfredo pasta. Overall, it was a great experience and Im looking forward to going back!

The Stag has the best open mics on Sunday and Wednesday nights. Sunday is also wing night, $5.99 a pound! The wings are bomb! Come check it out
