This my 2nd time eating here in a month. The last time I had the baha chicken sandwich which is good. This time I ate the Philly is back sandwich. This sandwich is clearly the best & now understand why it is the most popular. The beef is tremendously tender & tasty. The portions are big & not expensive at all. The service is wonderful also. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was the very first time that my family and I visited The White Apron. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. The food was excellent and very good portion sizes. All four of us really enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

I cant rate this place high enough, I have never been to a restaurant where the food is delicious the portions are huge and they have great prices and best of all the best customer service with a smile in durham. I also like that its an open kitchen you can see everything going on. White apron is a family run restaurant they even have gluten free opinions. If you havent tried it I suggest you get running to fill your tummy and likely need a to go container Parking: There is also a parking lot located at simcoe and bond thats less then a 2 minute walk away with plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome at the white apron my LO says they make better pancakes then stacks pancakes house and he also says the French toast of delicious

I love a great breakfast and white apron is my new favorite. The food was awesome no cheaping out by these folks and the value would put anything else in Durham to shame it wasnt the cheapest place due to the quality of the food and the portions but it was far less expensive than the chain stores or the higher end restaurants. This place is a hidden gem 5 minutes from my house and after 12 years here I just found it. Dont miss it me I did

The best brunch I have ever had! And I love brunches, so I have them fairly frequently. The food was delicious and coffee was as they are in brunch spots. Eating at The White Apron is a good enough reason to visit Oshawa.

If youre looking for the best breakfast place ever look no further. The servers and all the staff are super friendly and professional and helpful The food is out of this world delicious. I had the Uber breakfast and was pleased to see that it lives up to its name. The home fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. All the meats were cooked to absolute crispy perfection. The French toast was the best Ive ever had anywhere. Ive never had a French toast be so perfectly made and crispy (no sogginess) the fruit on the french toast was so fresh and sweet. I definitely look forward to coming back here any time Im craving an incredible breakfast for a great price. My only regret was not getting a picture of our meals (everything looked so good we couldnt wait to dig in )

Kristina and Milka are the nicest, most professional staff I have had at a casual breakfast restaurant. The food looked amazing, and tasted great too. Those two waitresses really deserve their tips, so please consider throwing them something when you re there.

Amazing crab cakes Benedict!

I ordered the Eggs Benedict with tomato. The tomatoes were cold and ruined the experience. I felt tolerated, not welcomed. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options felt like they were legally obligated to provide them. Parking: Street parking downtown Oshawa is hit and miss. Many homeless persons. Very few spots just outside the restaurant.

Been here 3 times, food has been ok , however the service is abysmal. The servers never come around for coffee refills or to provide water. If you re solely there for an ok breakfast, then nothing wrong with the spot.

This place is good for non-veg but nothing for veg. Vegetarian options: There is nothing good for veg menu. Only toast and 1 choice of fruit. Food : 4/5 |

I had the pleasure this morning to experience an incredible breakfast and top notch service. I was shocked to know that it s been around for over 7 years already. A wonderful , hard working Macedonian Family run this delightful restaurant located on Bond St. downtown Oshawa. If you haven t been ..shame, SHAME on you!!! The food offerings are plentiful, flavourful, filling and made to order. I enjoyed the Uber breakfast which was huge. The coffee here is on point as well. I apologize for not having any pictures to post but my next visit I will pace myself and take a few before I devour my plate. Lastly, I would rate this place in my Top 5 of places in Durham Region to eat.

Forget the atmosphere. If you are looking for a filling, good old-fashioned breakfast, youll find it here. Tasty! And the chef can do medium poached eggs correctly. Wowser!

This post is way overdue. We have been coming since we moved to Durham region in 2017. Everything on the menu is delicious, the service is always great and the restaurant and washrooms are always clean! Our fav spot.

Awful breakfast today. First time there for me, and wont be back, steak for breakfast was awful, hard, tasteless, my girlfriend tried it, and thought it was inedible, eggs were undercooked, and my girlfriend, who has been several times before, and always loved it, hated her meal too.

Had both to go and sit down here, staff were great to deal with. Only had the bahn mi subs here but the bread seemed to be too chewy both times, I ordered the pulled pork by accident but really wanted the pork belly so I went back for the pork belly and I can say the pulled pork sub was better but just ok. Pork belly had an older smell imo to it so was a turn off not much going on maybe it was an off day but ya 3.5

For me, I love going here when I have a craving for one of their varieties of grilled cheese or the pork belly Bahn mi sandwich. The wait time can vary, and the parking being downtown can provide a bit of an issue depending on the time and day, but it is definitely worth the try for a good brunch. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is not wheel chair accessible.

My late breakfast was amazing! The waitress was extremely friendly and quick with the delivery of scrumptious walnut and banana pancakes that were hot! I enjoyed a cup of hot coffee as well. A return food experience is on my calendar! Food

The portions are generous, and the menu had a wide variety of options. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. While they dont offer bottomless coffee, the quality of the food more than made up for it. Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. Its an interesting setup and you can see the chefs hard at work. Overall, it was a fantastic brunch experience, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying meal with great service and atmosphere.

Nice little cosy brunch spot in Oshawa. Portion sizes are generous and the taste is bloody brilliant. We had the uber breakfast which came with pancakes with 3 scrambled eggs, ham, sausages and bacon with home fries and baked beans. I usually pass on baked beans but the ones served here were so tangy and tasty. We will visit again. Parking: Street parking is free on weekends only.

We stopped in at the White Apron for breakfast today. We were both surprised and delighted to see the portion size of our meals! Everything tasted great, too! My boyfriend is not someone who is easily impressed, but he had nothing but good things to say about every part of our meal. We wanted to try the banh mi, but we could barely finish our breakfast, so we will definitely be back to try other menu items in the future! Staff was very kind and accommodating.

We crave this breakfast every week honestly we go to so many breakfast spots and this by far the best one out of them all! The portions are huge! The pea meal bacon is thick cut and juicy. Not a fan of the baked beans but with everything it just hits the spot. The potatoes are soft and crispy AND THE FRENCH TOAST the crunch and soft centre I think i dream about it! The bacon and sausages are huge and they make the bacon so crispy.. but the main event for me is the eggs Benedict pork belly IS TO DIE FOR like melt in your mouth to die for. As my husband says I would trade you for this pork belly!

Delicious lunch at White Apron in Oshawa. Every time I go it is great. Was there for breakfast in December and the eggs Benedict were amazing. Today pulled pork banh mi sandwich. My son had the pork belly banh mi . Both were fantastic. We split a basket of fries which was more than enough for the two of us. Service was great. I read a lot of reviews were people say the food is crappy and expensive, here it is great food and reasonably priced.

My only complaint would be size of the dining area; The food is so good, the place is always packed, and during our last visit, we had to wait just infront of the entry way to be seated for breakfast. Ill be back with the family soon

Although the neighborhood is not large, it is a famous brunch restaurant in the area. It feels like its so famous among locals that you cant even see Asians there. It can be hard to get a table because its crowded, but the food doesnt disappoint. I recommend eggs benedict!!

Here with my good friend Ted for the first time since Peter and his family sold one of Scarboroughs beloved places, The Bendale. The White Apron did not disappoint. The food was fresh, full of flavor, along with excellent portion sizes. That all said, what makes The White Apron my new go to place, and worth my friends Ted drive from Scarborrough, is the family environment and amazing staff, who happen to be part of the family. Beautiful smiles and good conversation all around. Highly recommend everyone visit. Cheers!

I don t normally post reviews, but this place deserves an accolade! Probably the best breakfast in a diner I ve ever had and I ve eaten at a lot places. All the food was so fresh and generously portioned. Home fries were so well seasoned and the French toast was the best we ve ever tasted before. Wow! A must come. Oh, and the service was top notch. Kristina killed it with her chef as they got a little slammed on a Wednesday. Still so friendly and as speedy as they could be. You won t be disappointed, I can promise you that!

Food was meh for the price. Cheese in the omelette was very thick. I had to wait a while to request missing condiments from staff. Its a good family place though.

Ordered meals for pickup. 9 breakfast meals and 1 total price. No break down to know the totals of each meal. Old menu pricing on website. Nightmare to figure out and many hard feelings over bill. Will not order again due to poor paperwork.

They said they have the best French Toast in the Providence so i had to give it a try. The crispy texture was a bonus. To be honest tho it wasnt the best but it was ok. They only add the bananas on top and not mixed in the batter same with the chocolate. The other meal was average nothing to brag about. Portion size was good and the nealvfilled me up. Friendly staff amd food was ready really quick. It reminded me of a clean Waffle House with great customer service.

If I could give the Cuban sandwich 6 stars I would. Staff is friendly, take outs pretty quick, and the food so far has been excellent. Ate (annihilated) the second half of the sandwich cold 5hrs later and was still great.

I have been a regular customer of the White Apron since it opened in downtown Oshawa. They have one of the best breakfasts in all of Durham region. I really enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the service is terrific and in particular Christina and Janey. I always recommend TWA to my friends and family. Parking: It s always easy to find parking in front of or near the restaurant. And on weekends, parking is free.

Came here on a quiet wednesday morning, very few customers. Despite this I was ignored and given inadequate service, server never checked on me once, nor gave me a smile back. But was happy to do so to the other customers. Maybe the server didnt believe young students dont deserve good quality service, but I think we do :) Food was awesome. Thanks.

My father has MS and is in a wheelchair. The team without hesitation came to the door and lifted my fathers wheelchair up with him in it so he wouldn t have to struggle up the steps. Very decent human beings who work here. And the French toast was the best French Toast I ve ever had. Wheelchair accessibility: Although they don t have a ramp entryway, once inside there is plenty of room for maneuverability and all the tables and chairs are moveable so you can wheel up to your table. And the cooks and management carried my father in his wheelchair up the steps into the restaurant without hesitation.

Christina was delightful! We looked on the fb group Durham Region Eats for a new place to try. Glad we did. The White Apron was everything that everyone promised it would be. Food was delicious, portions were plentiful and the staff was friendly. Parking was easy at a meter spot just down the road. (We didn t have to feed the meter as it was a weekend). We just fed ourselves and it was most enjoyable.

Had a wonderful lunch there today. I had breakfast - bacon, eggs and homefries. My niece had the pulled pork. Food was amazing. Made in house. Fresh and homemade. No chain frozen food here. omg i am so so happy i found this place! the food is amazing and you get an incredible amount for the price! i ordered a waffle and it smelt like waffles in the whole restaurant also the staff are super friendly witch is really nice i am now making a point to come here at least once a week with my dad! this location used to be a diamond grill and the food was just as good then as it is now under new owners and under a different name. i could not be happier with this place in fact i think ill go back tomorrow. i highly recommend this place give it a try it will for sure be youre new favorite to! 11/10

This has to be one of the most unprofessional establishments Ive ever encountered. Despite arriving during their advertised opening hours, not a single staff member acknowledged or attended to us. Instead, they seemed preoccupied, lounging at the tables as if they were customers themselves. Its one thing to take a break or have lunch, but a simple acknowledgment would have sufficed. Our Sunday brunch was utterly ruined due to their lack of courtesy and professionalism.

We moved to Oshawa last month and I was looking for a breakfast location within walking distance to our new home. Weve already been to The White Apron Restaurant three times (including when family came to town to visit). Amazing! The restaurant has met all of our expectations and more. The amount of food at a reasonable price cannot be beat. Friendly service, fresh food and a warm and inviting atmosphere. Obviously, I recommend this location and we will return.

10/10 would recommend. Everything on the menu is delicious with huge portions. My go to is the Cuban sandwich (also their French toast oufff) definitely home cooked vibes.

Employees here seem unprofessional, closed doors at 2pm instead of 3pm while customers are trying to get in , saw multiple who faced the same experience right outside the doors while employees were busy having their lunch. Please update your closing and opening times on google. Not coming back.

We travel a lot as a band and have breakfast all over Canada frequently - this was by far one of the best breakfasts we ve ever had. Service was quick and polite, food was plentiful and delicious, the value for money can t be beaten. 5

This is a great place for a good quality breakfast. Im sure their other food is good as well, but I was there for the breakfast. The atmosphere is very pleasant and comfortable to eat. I enjoyed their French toast which was made in a way Ive never had before using panko. You must try it! My wife enjoyed eggs with bacon and hashbrowns. They were also well prepared. Considering the portion size, the pricing is good for breakfast. I would highly recommend going here to eat, plenty of seating, and well layed out so you can bring the whole family + more if needed. I will be returning here whenever Im in Oshawa and looking for a good breakfast and maybe even try a lunch there next time. Our server was also great and added to the overall experience.

First visit to this establishment with my husband. Had a great breakfast, quality ingredients and excellent service. Place was very clean, including kitchen and bathrooms. Loved that they still worked old school with handwritten tickets and the chefs worked the lines efficiently. Will definitely return and bring other family members with us. Keep doing what youre doing - its working :)

2 of my lunch companions had the Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi sandwiches, which they thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Cuban sandwich, which I really liked too. We will definitely be back next time were in Oshawa.

Incredible food, incredible service

Favourite breakfast place in Canada. Very clean. Excellent quality ingredients. Huge selection. Come for breakfast but always torn between that or the amazing Lamb On Naan or some other delicious lunch option. Must try their own French toast with strawberries To top it off, the staff are the warmest and best of anywhere I ve ever been to. They always remember me. This place is truly is like a slice of home. Simply unbeaten for breakfast or lunch in Ontario. The best family and staff. Nice to see the smaller family owned/operated places doing a better job than big chains.

Sat down for lunch here in the summer. Decided to try something outside my normal comfort zone and got the Lamb on Naan. The lamb fell apart in my mouth with the 1st bite. It was one of the most tender pieces of lamb I EVER had. A definite WIN! Food : 5/5

Best sandwiches in town. The Banh Mi lemon Grass with medium spice in my go to. Lamb on naan also really good. In fact, most of just about everything on the menu is spot on. Excellent quality, reasonable quantity and friendly staff make this a wonderful lunch choice.

Now, lets address the only minor hiccup the parking situation. Being located downtown, parking can be a bit tricky, but its by no means unmanageable. The inconvenience is a small price to pay for the culinary delights that await inside. In conclusion, The White Apron Restaurant is a true gem in Oshawa, & my personal favourite. The dedication to accommodating various dietary needs, coupled with delicious food & exceptional staff, makes it a must-visit.
