Ordered takeaway dinner the other evening. Garden salad, 1lb medium wings and chicken noodles. First off, salad was packaged between two hot items so the lettuce was warm. Other than that, Salad was okay could have used more veggies on top of lettuce. Wings were good- and would get again. The chicken noodle dish was lacking any flavor- although from appearance looked like it would be flavorful. When ordered, I asked for it to be made spicy and unfortunately wasn t made with any spice (or flavor apparently) and instead I was given franks hot sauce on side in portion cup.

Everything is pathetic , so guys my recommendation is to spend your precious time & money in some good restaurants.

I truly hate to write a bad review but this was an utterly disappointing experience for all of my friends and I. The waitress was kind and attentive, and the service was generally good in terms of friendliness; however, when it came to our orders 3/8 of our orders were incorrect. 2 people ordered Benedict with mushrooms and swiss cheese which was messed up 3 times in a row. At first, these 2 were given the complete wrong order, then given food which they could not eat due to dietary restrictions. Lastly, the eggs benedict did not even have mushrooms nor swiss cheese when served to them. My friends ended up giving up on the 3rd try and ate what they were given. Another person never received the eggs they ordered. They attempted to compensate us in the end which objectively fell short as they still charged us for one of the two incorrect dishes, charging us for the original mushroom and swiss benedict which is more expensive than the plain eggs benedict. This also made no sense as they should not have to pay for an order that was not at all completed properly.

Amazing food!!! Everything we ve ordered has been superb. The service is great and the waitresses are kind. The restaurant is spotless and has a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend to come here with friends

Server was sweet, kind, and patient. Food was yummy and portions were perfect. It s been a minute since my last visit, and it was as great as it always has been!

Food is very dry. Very less quantity and over priced. Very upset about this. Never ever go back there again. Dont get fooled yourself. Pick another nice restaurant.

We decided to have a late lunch on our way home. Both my kids are so used to home-cooked food, especially when it comes to biriyani. We had to wait 10 minutes for the food, which made sense for the preparation. We ate chicken kothu, biriyani, and chicken fry. It was all amazing, and my kid said, It was worth the money and the time we waited. Its truly amazing. As a passionate cook, I loved the food and felt at home. Its worth the money for 4 people.

I go there everyday , I eat all the dishes which they have everything is amazing , i liked everything there , i also staff because they are very nice and always speaking nicely with customers , you should go there and eat the food there

Took my son there for his 6th birthday dinner last night bc have been b4 and was the worst food eggs cold toast cold loaded patoto soup was watery and tasted like water no potatoes in it! I am a person who doesnt give reviews usually. But I had to do this on Monday I had a dish called chilli chicken kothu from this restaurant and it was delicious. And the service was also great the waitress had a smile on her face always and she was hard working and she was very helpful in choosing my dish thanks to her that I got to have this delicious dish . I am definitely going back .

Ordered a classic poutine, got half a portion with shredded cheddar cheese. Ordered a turkey club. The turkey was dry looks like someone tossed it in the container. No mayo no cheese no bacon. 17$ for what? Ordered a chicken souvlaki got dry chicken and something that looked like potatoes covered in tomato sauce. Looks like everything was tossed in a microwave. This is the worst experience I ever had. Will not be visiting again. Not worth the time or money. The waitress knew nothing of the menu. I assume the chef doesnt know how to cook. Time to contact Chef Ramsey.

Decent breakfast options

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. My table was 1 of 2 and the waitress got our order wrong 6 times food comes out and there s plastic in my sandwich. I choose to not eat, even though it was my first meal all day (at 2pm, my day starts at 3am) The 2 people at my table who did eat the food both felt sick. I was still charged full price. Total ended up being $30 for 0.50¢ worth of food DO NOT eat here if you care what you spend your money on.

Says open at 730, sign says open at 730, but not open at 730. I guess the new owner chose new hours, but failed to change sign for the public.

This place is extremely unclean. The table had salt spilled on it and looked like the seats hadn t been wiped down. The sauces and syrup on the table were all expired and cheap. Then our water came and you could see dirt caked at the bottom of the cups, so needless to say we didn t drink them. Our meals weren t anything special but the atmosphere was just overall unhygienic and ruined the experience. Only upside was the sweetheart waitress. Parking: Limited spots

Wally s World is a great restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Pricing is inexpensive as well. I ve been going here for years. Although the restaurant owners have changed recently, the new owners are very nice and are doing a great job. Will continue going back!

Good food at a reasonable price. Nice diner feel and helpful staff. We go back repeatedly to try out the street food dishes.

I tried the authentic South Indian dish Masala Dosa and Ghee Dosa. To be fair the taste was so authentic and the overall atmosphere was good. I really recommend the restaurant.

Amazing Food, both English Breakfast and Indian Breakfast. Vegetarian options: They have both English breakfast and Indian veg breakfast, it s amazing where we get both. I had masala dosa and it was so delicious. Great ambience, nice service.

And I walked away with leftovers for lunch the next day! Will definitely recommend to friends and family and dine there again!

Who has 1 staff on weekends during breakfast hours? Poor lady was running around by herself. And finally gave us a menu after we were sitting for over 15 mins. Only to realize that they don t have the coffee machine so no hot chocolate or mocha etc. they should strike it off the menu if they don t have basic morning hot beverages. Our order came after another 25 mins later! I ordered egg and chicken it was a lot below standard. The chicken breast was so dry that I had to swallow every bit with a sip of water. Bread slices were over-toasted and they just crumbled and had to eat with hands instead of my fork. Won t be visiting this place again.

I have never had a bad experience here. The food is delicious, and at a good price! The waitress and cook are amazing. She has remembered me everytime since the first time my fiance and I went and continues to remember us and always gives me lollipops at the end (Cause the very first time I came, as I was paying I asked for one lol) even for takeout she adds them in my bag. She has memorized mine, my fiance and my grandmas orders! Right down to the specific way she likes her eggs! (Which isnt a common style) Myself and 6 other family members just came by for my Grandmothers birthday and we were more than happy with our service! From the food to our waitress everything was fantastic! They even decorated one of their DELICIOUS lava cakes and chef made it super pretty for us! Let us light a candle and present it and everything! 100000/10 recommended this place. Love my experience here everytime

Kamal is a great cook. This place needs local support. We had Masala Dosa, it was amazing. And we will be coming back. Had kotthu roti the other night and it was good aswell.

Hi my name is unknown I have bought one chicken kothu roti and one chili chicken kothu roti and one chicken noodles and they all were horrible couldn t even eat it. Chicken kothu no gravy no spice and I asked for chili chicken kothu roti and the lady in front gave me chili chicken gravy that had franks hot sauce on it worst food ever. I have bought noodles from them as-well and it doesn t even look like noodles it s disgusting it s like rotten pasta there is no flavour no chicken it just tasted disgusting. The chef kamal does not know what he s doing he is making disgusting food for there customers and charging them so much for me they both made me pay $40 for all of them and the amount is in a very small dish that they give in. The place itself is vintage inside and not clean.The lady at the cashier does not keep her word we order something we want and we get something disgusting and horrible she messes up peoples order and she does not understand half the things we says . Please dear customers don t waste your time and money at this old nasty restaurant .

It is always an excellent experience. Im always surprised that the waitress remembers me and the last order I had. This is just after one visit. Its either Im very memorable or shes really great at remembering details. Whenever Im in the area, thats where I go to get food without a second thought.

I just wanted to share my experience ordering from this place tonight I went in there and they were so confused about their own menu they couldnt even help me are just wanted a couple of pancakes bacon and sausage and I ordered 2 pancakes when I got home there was one and it tasted like they made it from 80 year old flower.... I asked for my sausages to be split they werent I told them several times that I wanted them split..... Save your money and dont go to this place ridiculous not like it used to be that for sure...

Great service, delicious food and we loved that we could get chicken wings in the morning! Why start with breakfast when you can go straight to lunch. Wings were fantastic, chicken fingers were sooooo good and we enjoyed our breakfast meal too.

What should I say about food when found plastic in the sandwich. After 45 minutes of wait what I received was shocking. Service was slow and only one lady was serving. She was really polite and replaced the order with new one but apart from that nothing great which would encourage me to visit again.

It was Okay. Thats about it. Prices and specials nothing special. Hot turkey was a little dried out with very little fries. Gravy was like gelatin, and the Pepsi tasted flat. Waitress was nice and efficient but I think our old Oshawa landmark Wallys has run its course. Perhaps he should take his lottery winnings and sell.

I used to think this restaurant had good food, but now they suck I ordered off SkipTheDishes and the guys at this restaurant gave me several undercooked dollar fries and EXPIRED SAUSAGES Me and my mom got a tummy ache from eating the breakfast meal here I m NEVER buying from this place EVER AGAIN .

Been coming to Wallys World for 24 years. Went in there today for the first time since the new management for breakfast. Sad to say but that will be my last time. I dont expect a lot for a cheap breakfast but its always been that way, good prices, good service and good food. Today there is only one word to describe the food ...DISGUSTING!!!. Between my dish and my buddys dish we had uncooked eggs, a piece of metal in the bacon and hashbrowns that were burnt and dripping in old nasty oil. They should of changed the name completely so they stop trying to fool the customers that have been coming there for years and just let them think Wallys is finally gone...because it is. Once again new management that should have no business in the food industry have killed another old fashioned diner.

They are very friendly and the food is amazing. The people are great. Food came out fast and the price is great. New food and new owners. Come and check it out..

I ordered from here for the first time yesterday. I was blown away by the amount of options on their menu it made it hard to choose. All the food we got was delicious and big portions. I will be definitely ordering from here again and I cant wait to check them out in person.

A North Oshawa staple.. Breakfast here is amazing. Wallys has great classic-home-feels appeal you dont get from a franchised place. Id prefer Wallys over Wimpys and Eggsmart anytime. Also, more than just breakfast - the menu is huge! The only downside is they used to be open LEGIT 24/7 back in the day and I miss that 3am frenchtoast lol

Overall good value and hours

We ordered for the first time, trying to support local restaurants. I asked for the Mayo to be on side of club sandwich. When we received the delivery, the club was barely toasted and mayo was on sandwich making it very soggy. Because of the containers they packed the food in, everything was cold and soggy. Wont go back a second time

Ive been going to Wallys World since I was a preteen, running the streets at 2 am. I have rarely ever been disappointed. Now that Im in my 20s, I still highly recommend this place. Great diner food, and theyve even expanded their menu to more of an eclectic genre of food. Their dollar fries are still my favourite, as they hold a nostalgic taste in my stomach. All I can say is that you should give it a shot. Either sitting at home with a delivered meal, or getting the whole experience sitting in their old timey diner( which I love), they are totally worth your money. Hard working folks, kind hearted, and worth your while. I hope this place stays alive for a long time.

Amazing food! We ve ordered from them twice and everything has been a hit. We love their spinach dip, pesto penne, big veg curry meal, JK fries, Greek and caesar salads. The restaurant is small and blends into a strip mall, but wow! This is our regular spot now. The menu is huge, so lots of options to choose from. And you get a lot of food! The person working there was super friendly. Highly recommend!

I havent tried anyother food from here so my review is based on the Indian street food. The worst indian food i have never had in canada, kulcha is litterly a frozen walmart naan half cooked,chole- chickpea tastes like water and over boiled chick pea . Vada pav, dabeli all buns are burger buns and it tastes like Popeyes biscuits. I think chef is college student who was overhyped by his/her roomates as great chef and they ended up opening a resturant this food reminded me of my university days where we cooked food with no cooking experience but I did pay $70 for hospital food.

Wallys world is a great place to go for those who cannot book a time for the kitchen at UOIT when making dishes that require an oven. It has breakfest and lunch items, with a wide variety of items that come at a decent speed, at the cost of quality, which can vary from day to day. If you have low standards for how well-cooked your meals is, then you should love this place. However, they charge extra for extra bread, but not for refills. I wish the best for this place, as it has potential to become a hotspot when this pandemic ends.

This is a decent place to go. Rustic interior with a diner look. Not a classy date spot rather a morning breakfast place. I have been here three times and its been good. Classic oltime diner vibes - my son & I had the breakfast special. Loved the dollar fries. Friendly service, coffee was topped up with without asking and food was your typical breakfast fixings, with fresh fruit on every plate which was a nice touch. Would return again, nice local spot.

I havent had Wallys in well over 10 years. I remember how amazing the food was back then and decided to order for lunch today and I am so happy we did. The burger patty was fresh handmade and the flavour was absolutely incredible. Everything we ordered was amazing.I highly recommend Wallys World. You will not be disappointed!!

Try their extra spicy vada pav and cheese chatni grill sandwich. The SriLankan guy made sure i was satisfied with the service and also made up for the previous unpleasant. Recommended

I absolutely love Wallys World! Quick place to grab a bite to eat. My favorite thing on their menu is the shepherds pie. I usually ask to have it with a side of garlic bread instead of veggies.

Wallys used to be jammed busy every weekend morning for the breaky rush ..but now its not busy at all. I question what happened. We went this morning (Oct 2019) and the food was ok. Nothing spectacular but not horrible. Breakfast for 2 was $26 including tax. I had eggs bacon dollar shaped fries and toast. Hubby had peameal and eggs hasbrowns (its two of the ones like you get at mcdonalds) and toast, with a side of sausage. A chocolate milk and a coffee.

Waited for almost an hour from arrival to getting our food. We had to wait for the waitress to get off the phone from a personal call to have our order taken. With only one waitress, the food served eventually by the cook,I dont know if Ill return. Not what I remember.
