Was doing some work around the area and we needed a quick bite. Phone-in order of chicken on a pita and greek salad, hit the spot. Locals like it! Was the area staple for a long time. Not a problem to visit again when in the area.

I would rate them a 0 if I could. I went to order takeout and was disappointed and disgusted after seeing flies land on top of the lettuce. The guy preparing my order proceeded to make a salad, pretending as if he didn t see it too. I discreetly pulled him aside and told him what I saw and he played it off like he didn t see it. Based on previous experiences the quality in food has gone down drastically, food tastes bland, portions are a complete rip off., and health standards are non-existent. I promise you it ain t worth it like it used to be back when they were the franchise Friendly Greek . I won t ever be going back, I d rather drive a bit further for some good authentic Greek food. Buy at your own risk!

This is the ONLY place my son eats from... Hes the pickiest kid out there, but hell eat the chicken souvlaki from here for breakfast, lunch and dinner some days. We order from here a minimum once a week, hes tried other places and he spits it out right away... When he sees the Family Greek container, he goes running to his high chair! Thank you for the great food and giving this anxious toddler mom some relief

Ive been here twice and its been great both times. Their Gyro pita is amazing and the Greek salad is awesome. The prices are very reasonable, under $17 for a combo with a pop. Hard to beat that! Recommended dishes

I dont know how long this place has been there, but inside it looks like a vintage eatery. It isnt fast food, so expect to wait 10 minutes for your food. Really good gyros. Friendly fella seems like hes been cooking there for a while. I will go again.

So ordered vegetarian and was charged $13.95 for rice and potatoes and a salad. No vegetable skewer, called and was told that there is no skewer. Won t be back. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dinner is rice and potatoes. Don t bother.

Food is usually good here today, the calamari were super dry, and obviously deep fried twice to make them appear freshly cooked sadly disappointed. The usual middle eastern lady and husband weren t there, so I m not sure if ownership may have changed.

Had this delivered, it was the best Greek Ive has in years. I had the small Gyro, was more than enough for me. Wife had chicken and rice and that was 2 meals for her. Fantastic flavor

Ordered take out on Uber Eats at 4:40pm. Drove all the way from Peterborough as we are meeting family in the area. Arrived at 5:30pm and the food was not ready. Completely unorganized, incredibly rude when we inquired about how long our order was taking. We did not get our food until 6:20pm. Specifically, the young employee in the Chicago Bulls hat was arrogant and abrasive and disrespected other customers for what they did not want on their food, telling them you ll get what I make you . The food looks great but I am giving one star as the customer service was horrendous. Will not be going back.

I went to this place to pick up dinner and was shocked by how dirty the restaurant was inside not to mention finding a long hair in the rice and when I pointed it out to the staff she simply picked it out and said sorry but did not throw the rest of the rice away in the serving window I asked for the manager and he also acted like it was no big deal ....stay away dont waste your money at the establishment

Have had before, was great, todays food had no taste at all, salad dressing was all oil. Had 3 different meals, veggies were all soggy, bruschetta - soggy no flavour. Very disappointed, will not be ordering again.

I visited Family Greek on King Street East where I met MICHELLE, she is the wonderful person and worker. Food served by her was delicious. Id Recommend to visit the restaurant to everyone one.

Usually everything from this restaurant is wonderful. Today my order through Uber Eats of the gyros on pita was horrible. Something was wrong with the Meat aside from it being undercooked. It tasted very bitter and burnt even though it was undercooked(pink in some places). Perhaps they had a fire in the kitchen??? The pita almost entirely burnt on one side. Very disappointing...

Ordered a Greek salad and hummus with pita. The Greek salad was very good and lots of fresh veggies. The Hummus well its probably the worst I have ever had and I eat a lot of hummus! Its made with very cheap ingredients and had zero flavor..I couldnt even finish it. Its swimming in cheap vegetable oil so avoid this menu option.

Had the large chicken dinner. It was perfect and good portion for the price. My kids loved it. A good healthy take out choice. The service was fast and friendly. We will be back!

Ordered from this place a couple of times before and it used to be decent, however we got our take out dinner tonight and everything was a mess. Pita was burnt, fries and onion rings were a soggy mess because they were packed in the same box and underneath the equally soggy potato s and bland veggies. The lettuce in the salad was rotten with brown spots all over. The pork and gyro meats were just okay, nothing to write home about. Don t waste your hard earned money here.

I ordered the, Chicken souvlaki dinner with a spanakopita on the side and had far too much food for one person, which is awesome because now I don t have to cook tomorrow! Love the food, so delicious. Management-Owners are very friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately the young staff members didnt provide great service the last time I went. They prepared the order of the customer who came in after me first. So I had to wait. They asked that customer how he takes his salad. After they prepared his order, they just looked at me and did nothing except talked among themselves and made me wait some more. Eventually the owner/manager told them to prepare my takeout order. They did but they didnt ask me how I take my salad. Unfortunately I didnt realize this until I got home, then I had to throw away half my salad. That was very bad service. But the food is still good, and will most likely come back. I just hope the same staff members dont prepare my order again.

Delivery takes longer then usual

Our go-to Greek food. Whenever we get a chance, we come here to eat in or order take out. I love their calamari dinner with the best Greek Salad. My husband loves the gravy. He says it s the Best gravy in town and I agree! So good. Always a great dining experience. The staff is exceptional as well. Today we had brunch and the young man there who served us also deserves 5 star. He was very nice and accommodating. Although prices have changed, it s still reasonable for the amount of serving. Will always come back for their delicious food.

I ve been going here for so long. Always ordered fries with my souvlakis. They changed their containers for fries and it s shrunk into half the amount of fries. Not impressed. I called to complain and his answer was OK. Will not be going back. Do not recommend ordering fries.

I was quite disappointed in my visit this time. I brought my sister from out of town to try the food that Ive been raving about and was quite disappointed. Chicken rice and potatoes were cold and I only live at most 10min from the place. I always do take out and the food has been hot when I get home. Usually they give a whole pita heated up on the grill. We got hot dog buns toasted on the grill and didnt notice until we got home. Very disappointed in the food. I would have gone back to return our food but my sister was heading home so I didnt want to spoil the last bit of our visit

Food is good slow service

An extremely hit and miss spot for Greek food. Sometimes its great and other times were left disappointed. Sometimes the chicken is juicy and tender and other times its completely over cooked and hard. Calamari is not good. The salad is good, but the dressing is again, hit and miss. Its either amazing or 90% oil.

We took our 2 yr old grandson on Aug 18/23 sent our souvlaki dinner back 2time because the meat was undercooked! We hardly touched the food as it wasn t great! Complained and was told to leave and not come back .the 3 of us ended up with food poisoning! Little grandson and the 2 of us sick all weekend!

I m not normally someone to leave a review (especially a negative one) but do yourself a favour and do not waste your money at this restaurant. This was the worst excuse for Greek food I have ever experienced. The bread and garlic cheese bread was literally black and burnt, the chicken was cold and dry and over cooked, the potatoes and rice were covered in some strange tomato sauce and the tzatziki was so garlicky that it literally burned my mouth (and I love garlic). The Greek salad was the only part that actually wasn t bad, but I wouldn t go back based on a passable salad that I could get literally anywhere. What a disappointment and waste of money.

The restaurant is a little bit dated, but otherwise the food is really good and portion sizes are excellent. service was fantastic. We ve been here a few times and will come back again.

I m very disappointed with this place ! 1) no AC at all , my boyfriend and I almost passed out ! We ve been there total of 3 times because of the food ! The 3rd time was for dinner , and that s when the AC was on !!! 2) it s so unsanitary if you actually look around the restaurant! Got my beer twice with a side of salad pasted on the bottle ! You can tell like if the salad or vegetables fall from the fridge to the bottle it gets stuck! 3) First time the food was very cold !!! Even tho we was the only ones in the restaurant plus we still had to wait 15 mins ? So why is it cold ? 4) and this is what pissed me of.. we re having dinner and the owner ( older woman )she then proceeded to talk down to the kid that works there !! On him missing two days of work . Now I don t know the full story , but what I do know is that you don t talk down to your staff in a public setting with your customers ! It s so disrespectful! Advice - employees should be spoken too away from other staff members and customers as a courtesy of respect!! That too at the end of shift, so no one is sour ! And you don t make them feel stupid ! I was so angry I actually left ! Because her and the other two young boys was speaking in their own language with the other kid after she embarrassed him ! First of all clean the sides of your window so it doesn t look gross ! Clean the inside properly so it doesn t rot ! Never again

The food was amazing! I would have liked more chicken in my salad but the salad was very tasty and fresh. My son and husband enjoyed their meals too. Staff is very friendly. They could use some renovations inside and an updated choice board.

Average quality foods with poorer service. We went 7 persons and ordered some popular greek foods. They accepted the order but were unable to serve those foods. The order was revised, and again, they regret that they dont have that item!

I ordered two lamb sandwiches, fries and onion rings. The sandwiches were...okay. it was pita, few pieces of lamb, some taziki and onions. It left alot of room for improvement. The lamb was a little on the dry side for my liking. The fries felt old. In terms of services and atmosphere, I cant rate as it was a delivery order. I wouldnt necessarily reorder this item but will think twice before ordering again
