Have been back multiple times due meals being well priced and some healthy options. Chicken platter is best value but sometimes a small portion. Picture provided is of a good size portioned chicken platter. Chicken strips are expensive but good quality meat..for some reason they won’t sauce the tenders for you even though the website says “don’t forget the sauce” I asked for sauce and they said it comes with bbq only and then I the box has ranch in it….ill be back but service can be pour.
Ordered 2 platters and was provided options by the teller (Salman) if I wanted rice and salad, rice only, rice and fries etc for each platter combination. I chose rice and fries for one platter and rice only for the other platter. The price was showing up $2 more for each platter than what was shown on their menus so I asked the teller why is there a price difference and he said that’s the price with tax. After paying, the teller did not give me my receipt until I asked for it. Trusting the teller I did not question it and didn’t look at the receipt until after having the meal. It’s only after I checked the receipt I realized not only was I charged $2 more for each platter but also got charged tax on top of that realizing why the teller didn’t give me my receipt willingly. So I guess there is a $2 surcharge for altering the order combinations which I was not aware of and the teller instead of telling me about the surcharge said it’s the price with tax. Now it’s just $5 bucks plus taxes that I paid which is not a big deal and which is not the point of this review. The fact that the teller was dishonest and so greedy for $4 extra dollars that he had to lie to make the sale is why I will never be returning to this place. This is a matter of principle. Being a halal restaurant, it’s disappointing to see them being dishonest to customers.

Had vegie burger good really didn't expect to be good for 6 dollars, I loved the service of Mr. Sajith who took my order and recommended the option considering my dietary restrictions. Mr. Fayiz who delivered our food was also very courteous.
Because it was a very busy day, (Canada Day) workers were very busy making sure they were getting orders out as fast as possible. The wait time was just over 40 minutes and the food itself was also slightly above average. The burger I ordered was very sloppy and unappealing, but the shawarma poutine was much more appetizing -- one of the better poutines I've had. The servers were all very kind and spoke English, and while the restaurant and its bathroom were clean, the place seemed to be in the process of renovation, making the atmosphere not as great as it could have been.
Wow!!! A place you can eat at for under $20, be full and it’s fantastic tasting and quality food. Friends and I stopped in for the first time and all left full and very pleased with every aspect of this restaurant. I had a poutine, chicken sandwich and a coke. It came to $15 after tip! You can’t eat at a fast food joint for this price. And way higher quality. Highly recommend. Will be back for sure!

This is my fifth time visiting this shop, and they have never disappointed me. We ordered gorilla fries, chicken on rice, and a mango shake—everything was awesome. Anchana took our order, and she was very polite and kind. It was a totally amazing experience, and I will definitely be back again.
IM ALLERG8C TO ONIONS why was there red onions in my platter that I asked for ONLY RICE AND CHICKEN . 3am .... epipen.... and a very un impressed me at now 7am with 24 HOURS NO SLEEP do to you guys almost killing me. If you have the late night munchies or just don t wanna cook today, habibz corner is the place to eat. So many different options to choose from and the food slaps everytime.
During my wife and my visit, we observed and unfortunately witnessed directly another customer fish out a live cockroach, I m talking the size of a house cat, from the food that he had ordered. The young man who was working decided to in response go to the back, kitchen grab a purple glove and grab it and take it out of the food personally .. what s disgusting was that this man then handed the remains of the meal back to the customer. I don t need to tell anyone this is just disgusting. certainly unsanitary and definitely a health concern would not recommend .
Last night, I called the restaurant to place an order after noticing their Buy 1 Get 1 promotion. I agreed to pay for the higher-priced item and specifically asked if I could have one with fries and the other with rice. The person I spoke to confirmed that it could be done and advised me to include my request in the notes section of the order. As it got too late so I decided to place my order today. As instructed, I added my request in the notes and called the restaurant to confirm. However, the staff member I spoke to completely denied my request, stating that they don t offer such an option and expressing confusion as to why someone had told me otherwise. They even mentioned they would speak to the person who gave me this information. This situation reflects poor staff training. It s not the customer s responsibility to bear the consequences of miscommunication within the restaurant. Not only have I lost money, but I m now unable to enjoy my meal as I originally intended. Even if the food is eventually delivered, it will be overshadowed by the negative experience and bad intentions associated with this. This isn t fair.
Bought rice and chicken dish for $15. Quality was okay but the portion was so small , I will not recommend buying again.
When I went here it was so dead I thought it was closed, once I walked in they wouldn t come and take my order for a good 10 minutes. And once they take it they give me my food 25 minutes later. Now on to the food, the burger that I ordered was very bland, which was the habibi burger. The patty was also the size of an ant and did not fill my stomach. Finally, the mozzarella sticks, I ordered this as a combo with the burger, and they only gave me 4 sticks, they were also very empty with only a little fries. And the marinara sauce was more of a salsa. I really don t know what they were doing. Don t come here
The food was pretty good, good portions, I was told their prices went up, the music there was crazy loud not sure if thats the usual otherwise it was fine. Parking: Street parking , not sure if we were parked illegally but everyone parks on the street beside

The food was not what we expected. It s great to see a halal place in Oshawa but we didn t enjoy the food unfortunately. Ordered angry bird sandwich which was okay, they put two strips in the burger instead of a big patty so one strip can fall off while u r taking a bite. Taste of the sandwich was mediocre and smaller in size compared to the price then we also ordered shawarma poutine and chicken tikka poutine. One of the worst poutines I had in a while to be honest. Chicken tikka poutine was the worst, felt like fries were dipped in chicken curry and taste was unsavoury. The shawarma poutine was just too bland. I had better poutines in other places for less price. Box for the poutine is too small, everything was jammed in there and it s hard to eat and mix with a plastic fork. Sorry for the negative review but our experience was not great. It s a nice place for dine in though but lack of parking (few) can be a deterrent for potential customers.

Decided to stop by after shopping at the Markets. Best decision EVER! The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a digital menu at the cash with lots of great options. The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions are generous. I had the hababibi burger and I can confidently say its the nest burger Ive ever had. My husband had the smoked meat poutine and its was incredible. Tons of meat, and real cheese curds smothered in rich gravey. Highly recommend this place! I wish theyd open a location in Kingston!
It s pathetic in the kitchen look like selling rotten chicken I m sure Habib is not selling Halal. I strongly recommend not to buy from him. Before we are regular customer even we ordered in bulk but after getting worst experience in customer services and kitchen we will never visit him and advise to all the same Food

The food at Habibz Corner is out of this world. I am an osmows hater because their sauce is not my cup of tea! However the sauce at this place over the chicken salad and rice is to die for, I get extra of both! The gorilla fries are amazing and everything about their food is delicious. I have recommended this spot to so many friends. The location is the only deterrent as I feel unsafe coming here at 10pm at night

If I order a chicken platter and willingly pay extra to substitute the rice with salad I thought common sense would show that I m trying to be a little healthier. I don t understand why you would drown a salad in so much sauce. This picture is AFTER I used paper towel to try to soak most of the sauce off.

This place is going down hill. Called in and got my usual 2 cheese burgers and 1 gorilla fry order which feeds 2 people and has been 10 for cheeseburgers and 9 for gorilla fry and when I picked it up it was 23 dollars and was given a much smaller amount of gorilla fries and I asked about the price change and accepted the difference but when I was given my bag there was a significant weight difference! How can I be charged 4 more dollars and have a smaller fry order at the same time lol I feel like I got screwed twice! Is there a new owner? What happened to this place? The quality for the price outweighed the location, wait times, and sketchy customers. The wait times certainly havnt improved! The menu prices on google are wrong and they didnt honor the price on google.

I got the large jerk chicken poutine deal for sundays for only $10 it was a very good deal. The customer service from Faiz was top tier and the food was amazing. I would recommend coming here for the great food for cheap prices.
