Best ever survise and food in canada i ever had

I had a terrible experience with this restaurant. I ordered biryani, and the spice level was unbearably high, way beyond what is normal for biryani. It was so spicy that just a few bites caused me severe stomach problems that lasted the entire night. The pain and discomfort were so bad that I now need to visit the hospital because of it. This level of heat is unacceptable, and I would never visit this place again. Highly disappointed!

This place seems overhyped and didn t quite live up to some of the glowing reviews. We dined in, but I wouldn t recommend dining here, especially at night. If you re curious to try it, consider takeout or delivery instead. The location felt uncomfortable, particularly with kids, as there s a vape/cannabis shop next door, and we noticed some individuals hanging around that made us uneasy. With our young child, we left quickly after finishing. The food itself was just okay not memorable. They only offer disposable plates and cutlery, which made it challenging to enjoy the meal comfortably. The prices were surprisingly high for the setup much more than you d expect even at a full-service restaurant.

I took 2 thalis (veg and non-veg) and both were very tasty and fulfilling. Seating and ambience is basic but kept clean. Only reason for deducting one star is because food was oily. I will visit again to try other dishes

Best indian thali in durham

Good, delicious Indian food with huge portions. Ordered the butter chicken bowl and veg thali, which is more than enough for 3 people. The 4 rotis that came with the thali were excellent. The staff were very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I believe most of the business is for takeout, we dined in. The dining area consisted of 3 tables, and it was clean and well maintained. Ill definitely come back again when Im in the area.

Great north Indian food. Kadhai paneer, daal makhni, tawa roti are really good. Samosas are nice, wouldve been the best with a little more spice.

As an Uber Eats driver from time to time I have to wait for orders and I often get a snack and drink while I wait and all I have to say is their fresh food will never disappoint I have samosas and a chi tea and I was definitely soul food

I recently had food at Dhaba NH1 in Oshawa. The quality and the presentation of the food were excellent. Additionally, the quantity was surprisingly more than enough. My husband and I ordered one veg and one non-veg Thali. Each thali had 4 big chapati, one big rice bowl, and a good quantity of curries and dal. We had to pack the rest, which was enough for dinner. The staff were humble, especially Shaifali, she was very amiable. Overall, the food was scrumptious, and the service was awesome.

i like this place alot but guys today i am disappointed i ordered by uber mix veg and other stuff but my mix. veg was not cooked properly. its a first time i am having this issue with you guys. i love your food a lot and visited numerous time and ordered but today i was disappointed.

We came across Dhaba NH1 and decided to give it a try. I can say that I was definitely impressed. We were greeted the second we entered and throughout our dinner, the service was great. We ordered butter chicken, rice and roti. The food was a good size serving and was very tasty. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely be returning.

I recently visited *Dhaba NH1* and had an absolutely delightful experience. I tried the butter tawa roti and soya chaap curry, and both dishes were incredibly delicious. The butter tawa roti was perfectly soft, with a wonderful buttery flavor that melted in my mouth. It complemented the soya chaap curry perfectly. Speaking of the curry, it was rich, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. The soya chaap was tender and absorbed the flavors of the curry beautifully. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend this Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and great service. I will definitely be coming back!

Its a decent Indian restaurant, more focused on takeout and tiffin services. Food is decent, not a lot of options to choose from. Prices are decent, The food we tried was ok, not bad, but not great either. Good place for students!

We wanted to try out this place looking at the reviews. Ordered samosa chat, Chai, Dahi bhalla papdi and dahi bhalla chat. The samosa used in the samosa chat was stale and off. Chai tasted bad as well. We had to throw it out.

Ordered twice in a row within a week, the quality of food is amazing, quantity is good. I just moved here in oshawa from Toronto and tried this first indian restaurant and i was happy to order the food, i tried veg manchurian, gobi manchurian, karahi chicken love it , butter chicken better than other indian restaurants and chowmein, not to forget fried momos and veg samosa. Last but not least the mango lassi. Tried mango lassi at several places but this was the best in taste. The prices are genuine and worthy. I will order again from this place and recommend to everyone whoever is reading the reviews. Thank you very much.

This place always surprises me People say we get good Indian food in Brampton but NH1 have the bestest samosa, chole bhature and gravies of course. Love to visit this place anytime. So for all our Durham people why to travel 100kms if you get good Indian food within 15 mints drive.

Not sure how this restaurants has so many 4+ reviews. We had chicken momos and chicken dry as starters - both were prepared with same sauce. We have ordered 2 chicken curries both tasted literally the same. Even after asking them about it they were not ready to correct the mistake (or if it s expected to taste like that). There was no salt in the curry as well which is minimum basic thing. Over all very disappointed.

Visited this place yesterday after we are craving for some Indian snacks. We ordered Samosas and Dahi bhalla chaat. The lady who prepared the chaat added huge loads of tamarind sauce in the chaat and dahi was next to None. Totally ruined the item. Being an amateur cook myself I would have used this much sauce in atleast 4 plates of this item. Samosas were okay taste wise but seemed a little oily and heavy when the above blunder happened. I had to request them to put dahi into the chaat because I dont like throwing food away. Even after that it gave me some uneasiness.

We visited dhabha NH 1 yesterday and wanted to sit and eat but staff requested us to do take out only to which we agreed and they said that they will take 25 mins for order to prepare but order came to us after 40 mins . The approach towards customer is very casual. In terms of food the taste was good but we were highly disappointed with the service.

They have great north Indian food. Rotis just like you want them. Have tried a couple paneer curries and love their daal makhni! Samosas are good too. All in all among the best Ive had around here.

I visited this place today with my kids. The food is amazing and with a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly. My kids also absolutely loved the food.

During our first visit, the woman there seemed too preoccupied with catering to bother listening to us. There were no greetings or explanations for the delay, so we decided to leave the restaurant without having eaten.

Did not even get chance to order as the lady at customer service was too busy to orders due to catering accounts. She was using phone instead of greetings and did not even said we can wait to give order. We left without having breakfast.

I ordered veg thalli. It was terrible, even after informing them that we want spicy food, Food we received was actually very sweet. Shahi Paneer was sweeter than the gulab jamun. Paneer was hard and stale, Dal was tasteless and rotis were hard. Speechless about the quality of food. Indian restaurant are ruining the indian food standards.

I disagree with the 5 star reviews here. Food taste was average! Service was average - you order, you pick up at counter. Food is served In disposable plates and plastic trays. The rotis they serve are probably frozen or bought at some indian store, heated in restaurant and served. There is NO tandoor/naan option. Definitely a pass - not worth the time.

A hidden gem! Tried their various dishes i including kadhai paneer, chicken curry, chowmein, malai soya chaap, kadhi pakoda, shahi paneer, chole bhature... Everything is so delicious and authentic Indian taste. Im a big foodie and tried several places but this one beats all others when it comes to authentic Indian food and very reasonable prices. The staff including owner is super friendly and packaging is top notch! Hopefully they are able to open more locations in future.

Whenever we cm at the dhabha nh1 , there service is tooo poor . They always ask wait for 10 minutes then deliver the food after 30-35 minutes . Moreover , some of food items are good and some are totally wastage of money . So , please , people pay for food and service . So must work on ur food quality and poor service . Absolutely pathetic fried chicken momos, wont even call them momos more like wontons with little stuffing and so much crust, tasted pathetic, please learn how to make momos, waste of 12.96 dollars. The momo chutney was also tasteless and not authentic, remove momos from your menu dhaba nh1, learn how to make them first.

The food was amazing. We ordered two chicken curries and two paneer curries. All the items were very tasty. Roti is a hit at this place. The staff were very cordial. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who is craving good authentic Indian food. Delicious food made by lovely people so I wouldn t worry about the interior/ambience.

We were in from out of town, and so thankful we stumbled across this place. Although it is a relatively small restaurant, it is clean and inviting. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Within our group we ordered the Chicken tikka masala, Butter chicken along with fried rice and roti. Everything was exceptional. So delicious!! We will definitely return.

Went for lunch today and ate in this little place. The food that we had was some of the best that I have eaten anywhere! We have dined in many East Indian restaurants from Toronto to as far as Nova Scotia. Well worth going! Unbelievable food at an unbelievable price. I do not think anywhere in GTA you can have 0.99$ chai, or $1 gula jamun. The price list looks something like 3 years ago! Went second time to Dhaba NH1 and absolutely enjoyed their food. Ordered non veg thali, methi paneer, butter tawa roti, dal tadka, butter chicken. Everything was delicious. I had a catering order with Dhaba NH1; all the snacks and main course dishes were amazing! Everyone absolutely loved your mutton, malai soya chaap, Indian Chowmein, Karahi paneer and Crispy corn! To top it all the chef Puneet and the manager Shefali were very accomodating and flexible to customize taste according to the customer! i just order chicken malai momos and malai chaap both are worthless as chicken momos were sweet think like they added suger that much sweet and malai chaap quantity is very less they gave only 3 pieces in this price worthless dont wanna order again when i called to give my review no one picked my call i just order before an hour from uber eats worthless and tasteless edit i got 9 pieces thats why i posted this review
