First time went here and tried this chicken bowl for 12$+tax. Really disappointed with the quantity and taste, old veggies were used. This bowl quantity is not good for even 1 person.

SHRINKED PORTIONS. Kingston Mehfill has Double the Portion of Kathiroll. I ordered Tandoori and Tikka roll. One kathi roll of Kingston was enough for me but for this I had to order 2.

I used to go to this restaurant very often but now I am never going back again. This restaurant provides the slowest service ever. I see no change even after multiple reviews. The customer service is bad and employees are very unprofessional. 45 minutes for one wrap is insane amount of time. I placed an ubereats pickup order. After making me wait for 45 minutes, they told me that the side I placed is not available. I asked for a refund for just that one side and they said they cant do that just cancel the entire order. I understand that sometimes restaurants get busy and things take time. But this restaurant always takes way longer than its required. Just wasted my 45 minutes.

We were in the neighborhood and decided to visit this place for a bite. The menu at Mehfill had quite a lot of variety. We ordered chicken shawarma and chicken kathi roll. Special shout out to Dhruv for preparing and serving us the flavor packed shawarma and kathi roll. He did a phenomenal job. I would surely visit this place again since I had a great dining experience.

Got the shawarma and tried their 90 seconds challenge on shawarma day and it was amazing. All the guys there know what theyre doing and they arent afraid to communicate. It was busy and unlike most places that just tell you short times so they can get the business they informed me or the fact Id have to wait but theyd be happy to serve me even if I did. The food was delicious and I loved it. Shout out to shenzel for that wrap it was amazing man

Tried this place first time through uber, got buy1 get 1 free. ordered indian style shawarma bowl which had 4 small pieces of soya champ with little bit of sauce on top and lots ot lettuce and rice. My roommate ordered wraps for us in BOGO offer from here, we were expecting 2 wraps each 2 paneer and 2 chicken but to our surprise received just one wrap each!! When my friend called the store, at first the person said and I quote you got 2 wraps na, thats it when we told that in recipe it says 4 items and we paid for 4 item he said come and pick it up it was mistake from our side We both had jobs at 10 and didnt ate anything so we couldnt go to pick up hence we said if you can refund our money back which we paid so he said Ill talk with my manager and call you after few mins, till now when Im posting the review we havent gotten any call. Also when we opened our food it was not even worth 1 star my wrap was totally bland and no schezwan was there which I opted, and the chicken wrap didnt had decent amount of protein in it. And we were told by the person in store that we are having rush thats why we didnt saw, I myself work in fast food store and we get multiple pickups and online orders, one cant miss seeing or checking how any total items are in the order and what are the toppings on the item. This was very worst first experience and looking by the reviews I can say this store is not paying the necessary attention to it.

The fusion bowl hardly had any chicken. Just bits and shreds of a very small amount of chicken. Not worth the price. Fix this problem and I will update my review

Never going to order again from here.. stale paneer in the paneer tikka kathi roll and fries seemed like they were fried in days old oil paneer tasted like there had been mould on it at some point and removed afterwards. Fries seemed like I was eating motor oil never going to order again.. very very disappointed..

We ordered the BOGO chicken Shawarma bowls through Skip. Absolutely worst food Ive ever had in my life. Rice was dry and way overcooked, chicken was hard, no sauce at all, just a quarter size of humus that I paid double extra for. Neither of us could eat it, had to throw it out. $60 wasted!

So this is my third time ordering shawarma bowls, the first 2 orders were great very generous portions with a great balance of all the toppings and sauces. I ordered my usual order but I must say I was a bit disappointed, when last ordered the bowl was a brown card board but this time I received the order in a plastic takeout bowl. The portion of rice seemed larger in the new dish, the portion of chicken was smaller than usual albeit still adequate, there was a large chunk of onion but the other toppings were much more scarce. There were only 2 thin pickle spears, 2 thin strips of turnip, 2 small slices of tomatoe and maybe 4 small leaflets of iceberg lettuce. As for the sauce that to seemed lacking as the bowl was much dryer than usual and I get my order with garlic sauce, hummus, Tzikai, tahini, tangy sauce and medium spice. As for the good my first two experiences were great, they also had to substitute my beverages and left a note which shows good customer courtesy. Im hopping this will be a one off experience and that along with new take out containers they havent implemented new portion control. As what I found to be a great experience my first two times around was more of a mediocre experience this time around.

Refused normal service for being white. I wish I was joking. I went there later in the evening and was not allowed to dine in. This was unfortunately made clear it was racially motivated as we were told the dining room was closed but new Indian customers coming in after us were then sat. Most Indian folks dont appreciate this either. If this happened to you please also leave a review. If its just me thats a good thing and speaks to this places good nature if thats the case.

Nope. Never again..some parts of chicken were hard and some of the chicken was not cooked properly, so they are mixing old and new chicken together. It went straight to the garbage. I understand staff is new and needs training but I think atleast we all should know the basic...putting the vegetables on the pita is not hard... but they were keep waiting on for the person who was training to ask if they should put another kind of vegetable on it...scrapping off the sauces from the pot..rather then filling up the pots... everything can be ignored if the quality is good...but im sorry even homemade shawarmas taste better.

Our first experience wasn t great but our second experience was much, much better. The manager that I spoke to was very kind and was eager to accommodate my husband and I after we had a not so great meal. Tonight we had dinner delivered to us from the manager. The food was hot, fresh, flavourful and plentiful. I was extremely happy with the chicken shawarma bowl and my husband was very happy with his large chicken wrap. Lots of sauce, fresh toppings and again, great portions. Although some mistakes were made with our first order, the managers were quick to troubleshoot the issue and offer a make up meal and more for my husband and I which we really appreciated. We would order from Mehfill s Oshawa again. Thank you to both managers of the Oshawa location.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Mehfill Shawarma again, and it was an absolute disaster. Ive tasted their food before, and even today, it was just as terrible. In my past experiences, the chicken was disgustingly stale, raising serious concerns about food safety. The staff barely spoke English, making communication a nightmare. The ambience was always terrible, and the service ridiculously late. To make matters worse, during one of my previous visits, a woman who claimed to be the owner aggressively forced me to taste some sauce completely unprofessional and unacceptable. And even today, the kathi roll was so greasy and the chicken was burnt. To top it all off, I ended up with diarrhea after eating their food. Avoid this place at all costs!

Rhe meat on the shawarma was heated up about 48 times before it got to me. Rock hard not fresh at all.

Ordered Shawarma Wrap and Rice Bowl. Food tasted good, not bad. The hot sauce appeared homemade, but didnt seem like it was shawarma style. Chicken is tasty, garlic and tahini sauce is ok. Overall, food is good, but it just didnt give that taste of a shawarma...could be a fusion? Im not sure. I wouldnt recommend the shawarma items if your expecting that shawarma taste. But I would recommend if you want to try a different style of shawarma. The hot sauce...the hot one... is extremely hot, so hot to the point that you just cant eat it lol. Good for some, definitely not for me.

New shawarma spot in Oshawa (bit south of Taunton and Simcoe intersection - opposite to Tim Hortons). Tried chicken shawarma just now for take out. Meat was tender and perfectly cooked. Wrap remained intact even after filling all the veggies and there was no sauce leak (mentioned all this to say about amazing quality of bread). It was finely wrapped, grilled and served. Price is cheap than most of the shawarma stores I have visited in the past. Had many quality options of dessert. I d recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy good Shawarma. Stopped in today with my wife and daughter to order a couple large chicken shawarma wraps and a large falafel wrap. The wraps were huge! The meat and falafel were delicious. The toppings were fresh and generous. The gentleman that served us was fantastic and crafted our wraps with care. I knew they were going to be good and was not disappointed. Even though there are other spots closer to home Ill definitely be visiting again when Im looking for some tasty shawarma or falafel.
