Over boiled noodles on top that weren’t species, when asked if spice could be added they denied. Asked if they could just provide little bit of black pepper & salt, denied again! A person could not get the right food or make it right (it’s not free food)! Thank you for such first experience! When placing order they did ask spicy or extra spicy however spicy wasn’t spicy at all. I prefer spicy however, my friends who don’t eat spicy were like it’s not spicy. They could eat it. It’s just ridiculous!!
Chaalo Oshawa takes you back to the street food scenes of India. Brilliant location right beside Durham College. Dahi Puri was fabulous and very refreshing while the Pani Puri was tangy and great as well. Samosa Chaat was okay and can be improved. Nice place for Indian Street Food. Location is perfect in North Oshawa.
After living in North Oshawa, we discovered this gem of a place, that seems to be a student favorite. We though that the tables had water on them and had to be informed that it was just how it was.
Where is Dahi in Dahi Puri? I have been visiting your place since the day I had discovered it’s good in taste, regardless of pretty high prices. Sometimes I order prior visit via call, even if I called for dine in, you guys packed it up for takeout. Nevertheless, I am ok with it, unless you are fair in businesses. Unfortunately, every time you packed it for takeout against my call for dine in, you have been unfair - short on every ingredient, particularly for dahi in dahi puris. I still believe that you will ascertain your service as per consumers’ response, or keep loosing loyal customers.
We stopped near college eatery for a quick evening snack and man it was Utterly Butterly delicious what a tasty Vadapav! And, indian Masala Chaai, another tasty treat.
Great place if you craving for authentic Indian street food along with real spice levels! Best vada pav I had in Canada.. is found here. Best pani puri- real pooris, not the store bought ones served with real water that is not being made from a dry powder… we had Chhole bhature too- amazing taste.. not greasy or oily at all- the we usually find them. Their peri-peri fries are amazing. Paneer chilli actually has chilli - a go for dish if you are a spice lover… So, go Guys and enjoy. PS. It’s a small place… so visit keeping that in mind!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this location, and having wonderful experience! The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu they served (giving extra for the cashier who knows the out of service items). The ambiance at the location was pretty decent, warm and welcoming. Ordered their Manchurian, Vada Pav, Chhole Bhature, Bombay Grill Sandwich and the aromatic spices added in was perfect for them. Must-visit place.!!
Visited the store today and ordered masala dosa,vada pav and aloo tilli burger and got sabji roti instead of masala dosa paid 13 $ for this dosa only and rest of the food was good but I'm really disappointed with this ,this is not the first time when I faced problem over here because earlier I visited the place the tall guy who took my order was really rude not a proper way to talk to customer I NEED FOLLOW UP ON THIS ASAP. And please try to lower down the noise of the speaker if you can
I just visited Chaalo Oshawa. Vrunda made me Manchurian and dosa. It was just delicious, feels like Im in India.

I have been eating food from here since day 1 since the restaurant opened. Their sev puri and puff are the best. Vrunda Was our server today and she recommended new addition Chinese bhel which was really good. Very good service and food.
Everyone should try this place. It has best Indian Fast Food. Also, their service is fast as well as the staff are well trained. My favourite food from their restaurant is Aloo Tikki Burger Combo and Masala Dosa. It has become my go to place.

Bun Samosa is Mind-blowing

Ordered Hakka noodles and have special instructions to make it spicy and hot. What I got didn t even have proper salt. Was too oily and no veggies except spring onions and red onions and small chopped pieces of capsicum rarely to be found. you better don t call it veg Hakka noodles and the Chalo Oshawa special sandwich had nothing special in it. Was just tasteless. Not recommended place at all. Also their online menu shows Hakka noodles for $9.5 but the actual price is $13.5. Liars.!!!

This is the best place to eat Indian food. I am regretting not discovering it earlier. We ordered chole bhature and samosa chaat for two people. Food was delicious and packaging was cheery on top. Really want to say thank you to pratik p who was our server. Will come back surely.

We ordered paneer chilli, and it was too salty, and we asked to rectify the dish. But they havent took a moment to watch it. And said its your choice whether you eat it or through it. Not satisfied, would not recommend anyone to visit.

I would definitely recommend this place, it was meeting our expectations, as it was an exact same taste that we had back in India. Apart from this, waiting time was minimal and architecture was good as well. Last but not least, their behaviour towards customers was like cheese on cake.

We dine in yesterday July 1st Canada Day dinner at this place. Very bad experience, bad food hygiene, workers NOT wearing head cover, flat and cold bhatura served when complained about it staff NOT ready to accept. Dosas were very thick, chewy like gum and no taste at all. Rajma chawal $15 and quantity was like kids size. No taste in fried rice. Over all very bad experience. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

It was an amazing experience the food is delicious and staff is amazing they are working as professional chef. It is taking some time to prepare food but it Worth it as well as I am not feeling like I am in Canada the fire in Chinese food give me vide of India. Must try food.
First time when I placed an order for dahi puri. I had diarrhea. The second time when I placed the order I told the agent that I had diarrhea and the agent was acting like a doctor and said it cannot happen. The owner should train the person how to do customer service and the third time when I placed an order I told him it was really nice and he told me that the first order was also good he is an arrogant guy. If I had a chance to give a 0 rating I would do that in terms of customer service.

Before us, there was a group of 4 boys who complained about their burnt pizza and the staff fought with them saying it was well done and not overcooked. My God this customer service? They need to admit they are serving ghatiya food at fairly high prices.
