24 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1G 4Y5, Canada
Buzzing ramen joint with housemade noodles & sauces, plus broth that simmers for 24 hours.
Really nice atmosphere with very friendly service. Daniel was really friendly and helped us go through the menu and recommended dishes based on our needs. Been to many ramen chains and this is different bcos of their unique broth taste. Overall a good place
Stopped by Kenzo Ramen on my way back to Toronto from Ottawa. The taste of both the ramen and dumplings absolutely live up to the hype. The ramen was very delectable - I would say that the broth is the strongest point. However, the true standout dish at this restaurant are the dumplings. They are an absolute must-try! Of any ramen restaurant I've gone to, the dumplings at this restaurant may be the best. If you are in the Oshawa area or are passing through, definitely check this restaurant out!
Always consistently good, I take people here all the time and they absolutely love it! I recommend all of the appetizers. My only complaint is that the music is so loud in here! lol I have to step outside to make a phone call 😂
Kids were out and busy so the Wife and I decided to go out for Ramen. This place came highly recommended…. I agree!! I ordered King of Kings with Medium spice… My Wife ordered Tonkotsu King. Staff was great and super helpful. Atmosphere was good and inviting. A+++ Definitely worth a try.
We payed around 35 dollars for the two rames on the photos. They both were very good. One we chose with a spicy broth and the other with mild - both were very flavourful and tasty. We were definitely full after eating. Would recommend and come back! The service was great too!
One of the best Japanese restaurants that I've dined in. Their Nagasaki Champon is a really good dish. Loved the music they also played in the background, even though it's Japanese.
My wife and I have been recently introduced to Ramen and we love it. Tried Kenzo Ramen and Daniel was our server, his recommendations were spot on and we both loved what his recommendations. Great service and amazing food. Definitely going back for more. Spice level can be adjusted according to your taste, you can start with less and then ask them to add more spice if you like.
Impromptu lunch date. This place did not disappoint! The server was on point with recommendations, and the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely will be back 🍜
I was very impressed on the flavor and quality off this Kenzo Ramen. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
Everything about Kenzo is absolutely amazing! Thank you for filling our bellies with deliciousness!
Great food. Everytime.
But we all knew that!
Pleasant evening, great service, well done Daniel!!
kenzo is SO GOOD!! literally the best ramen ever no doubt. the service is fast, everyone there is super sweet, the prices are great and the food is always so yummy. if u want some ramen, go here.
Great little place to get ramen in Oshawa honestly, never disappointed and it always hits the spot.
First time here visited because of the reviews, tried the tonkutsu king ramen, meat was tough and hard, wasn t asked a noodle selection like the other ramen places, noodles were dry and tough, broth was only thing seasoned correctly. Ordered the curry and rice, tasted like the ones you buy from the curry packs at the grocery store. Service was poor, never once did they come to us to ask how it was and I had to go up to them to pay. We had a baby and the place isn t accommodating for a baby as they had no place to change a baby. Overall very disappointed and this place doesn t deserve such a high rating.
Weve been to this Kenzo Ramen several times and love the food and service. Very consistent and makes us come back often. Highly recommend a visit to this place!
Clean place, food is not authentic especially their Ramen. I was expecting it to be creamy, the way they describe on their menu but it s not. Also, it s dumpling. Why serve it while they are stuck together, they should be separated so it cooks on the sides.
One of the best ramen spot for me . I love the atmosphere. Love the staff!! so kind and explain everything to us . On my go to list for ramen
Vegetarian options: My partner is vegetarian, never has a problem finding something, and really enjoyed our last order. Food
Staff is super friendly and helpful with suggestions. Food is amazing. Will definitely be back.
GREAT tasting Ramen, also an amazing variety of side-dishes! So good, would highly recommend.
This was an amazing find. Would highly recommend! Plan to return when we are passing through again. The service was above friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, generously portioned, and more than fair pricing. We loved how it felt like you were somewhere else when dining in, very cozy and laidback atmosphere. Parking: I imagine it could be very difficult to find parking at times. We only lucked out to find a spot quickly.
Absolutely LOVE Kenzos. We often go to Niagara Falls to see family, and always include a stop here on our trip. Even my toddler loves it! Staff are super friendly, food is always phenomenal.
So Clean, So Fast, So Good!!!
Expensive for qaulity and qaunity
My family and friends couldnt celebrate my birthday with me, it happens. Its no big deal but I still wanted to do something for myself and so I got myself a bday gift and went to my favorite place to eat, Kenzo!!!! I usually go with my aunt, we both cant get enough of the food but I went solo this time. Like every other time I have been, it didnt disappoint. The food was so good, they took my drink order, talked with me a little before going to make it. I looked through the menu a little and everything looks so good but I went with my all time favorite, the shoyu ramen. The broth is so rich and clear, it might be my favorite thing. I cant help but taste it first before even taking a bite. My mouth is kinda drooling just from remembering it. Then Ill eat the boiled egg. Im not going to lie, I didnt like it in the beginning but it was a waste to not eat and I always forget to take it off. So I ate it and after a while, it started to taste good so now its always the first thing I eat. The meat just falls apart, its so tender and delicious, I always want to savor it. To which the noodles are nothing without the broth and toppings but thats my opinion, I know a few people that like the noodles on the side and yes, they do that. Anyway, please try it if youre looking for something new, the food has yet to disappoint and I dont think it will for a long time to come. Vegetarian options: Its great, there are vegetarian food for when youre not feeling meat or dont do meat in general. My aunt loves it when we come because of that and we go whenever she is in town. Its our thing together and the food is worth it everytime! Kid-friendliness: I dont have kids but I have seen parents with kids of all ages and they are always happy to accommodate parents with little ones. It actually makes me happy to see kids enjoy their food instead of playing with it like I see with cousins kids.
Worst Ramen I have ever had... unbelievable for the rating
5-stars for the food (Delicious and authentic) , definitely returning!! 4 stars for the atmosphere as there s room for improvement . Food
The noodles were great and chewy but the broth was just average. I wish they would give you more char siu pork but I guess all Ramen shops are similar with that. Overall very good for the money and I would definitely come back!! Highly recommended!
Friendly staff, very quick service and Ramen was great! Would highly recommend!
Our go to place when were craving for ramen. Service is always good, and of course the food too. Reasonably priced and good portions as well. I usually order king shoyu for $19 and is enough for me and my husband.
Great service and food! We had a very understanding waitress that catered to the demands from a toddler (wanted dry roasted seaweed vs wet seaweed). She gave us an extra roasted seaweed for the toddler. The noodles were delicious and portion sizing was good. Everyone enjoyed their bowls of noodles, including the kids. We also got the chicken kaarage with a side of citrus flavored mayo, which was crunchy and not oily. Comfortable seating and spacing from other tables. Not too loud in the restaurant when we went.
One of the best ramen restaurants Ive ever been to. Check it out!
The food is excellent, the staff are pleasant, and the service is exceptional. This is definitely a must-try experience.
Love this local ramen place in Durham Region definitely the best ramen in this area. Our server, Daniel, was amazing! Aside from the food, which is always great, I ve never had a better server at a restaurant. Daniel was so attentive, polite, and friendly wonderful experience! Thank you, Daniel!
Food is great, service is wonderful and fast. Order the extra eggs. So good.
Our favourite place in Durham to get Ramen. Everything is fresh and flavourful. Portions are large. Our favourites are the Netsu, tan tan men and the Gyoza. This is my go to place to order from for warm comfort food.
It was my first time here and I came with two of my friends. It was amazing, good service and the food was outstanding. Definitely coming back
Who would have thought? One of the best ramen places I ve been. So good in every way! Highly recommended!
Great service and food
my boyfriend and i came here for our first ever ramen date! the food is delicious, the portions are perfect and the staff are so damn friendly. it was my first time eating real ramen like this, and i dont regret it one bit! the shio was so so good. we def plan on making this a regular date of ours!
Wonderful ramen shop. Not too salty. They have a lot of items on the menu. We had the chicken karaage, miso soup and pork katsudon. The ambiance is great. Reminds me of our trip to Japan.
PERFECT, most delicious Ive ever had. I got the Sapporo Miso Ramen (vegetarian) with egg, bamboo, fishcake, tofu, and chilli oil. The broth is so flavourful and rich, perfect amount of saltiness. I will be craving this for a long time! 10/10.
Lovely service to start and the food was very delicious until I found a sharp metal shard in the ramen. I alerted the server and got a sincere apology (which was nice and appreciated) but they only offered to give a 50% off discount of ramen i barely at half of before finding the metal. Disappointing as I was glad to find good vegetarian ramen in Oshawa.
Our go to Ramen place. Very authentic.
Absolutely amazing delicious hot tasty
Favourite place to eat
It is best for vegetarian as well. Best food ever
Would recommend the Chicken Katsu potions are big and well cooked. Shoyu was alright.. Will try something else next time. Food
Food is excellent
Definitely one of best ramen places ive been to in Ontario/Quebec/BC. I often get disappointment by ramen places. This one didn t at all. Their broth is rich and clean. Food is consistent. Friendly staff. Highly recommend it to foodies.black donkotsu ramen is my go to
Went there today and although they are very busy, we were seated and greeted with a smile. My child loves the miso soup. It has all the rich flavors you need for a miso soup. Honestly impressed with the food and service.
Great little spot for some authentic ramen. Would definitely recommend.
Expensive and not given what is detailed in the menu. Says sliced steak but given minced beef
Ive had ramen here several times over the years and its very great every time! Definitely my favourite in the area.
Consistently delicious and good value for the price you pay. I go back and forth between the king tonkotsu ramen and the tonkatsu depending on how hungry I am. The broth in the ramen is always full of flavour and the tonkatsu is perfectly crisp every time. You also cant go wrong with either the chicken karage or gyoza if you feel the need for an appetizer. The yakisoba is also favourite of family members in the area.
The food is consistently good. I have been here many times with my family for dine in and take out. Take cash.
Love Kenzo. Great spot. Got shoyu with black garlic oil. Amazing. Gyoza. Amazing. Absolutely recommend.
I had a bowl of ramen and a side of gyoza. I think it was a tonkotus shoyu mix, it was delicious. The egg yolk could have been a bit runnier but I still ordered a second one because flavor. Gyoza was big and tasty.
Good place for Ramen. Our server was very kind. We went on a thursday at 7 pm and they were full. Had to wait for 30 mins. Once seated, Service was quick and food was delicious.
We loved our family lunch today at Kenzo! Our server was so kind, attentive and helpful with suggestions. George says we gotta come back! .and we came from Sudbury lol
Very good and very tasty ramen and onigiri. Large portions. Dumplings were very good too. Reasonable prices and good service.
Excellent flavours, but staff was a bit overrun
We had the most accommodating server for our large and chaotic group. Food was delicious as always!
Best ramen in Oshawa!!! Would highly recommended
Best best ramen in town Parking: Lots of parking area Food : 5/5 |
I return to this place every time I m in town for Nagasaki Champon. It s really rare to find this on a menu and they are really tasty. Other ramens were good too. High recommend this place.
Best Ramen in town
The chicken tonkatau ramen was great, the broth was rich and flavourful with huge quantities. Service was fast and welcoming. Will go back again. 15% discount by cash pay so mext time bring cash
The food was good but the service needs serious work. The male server with the bun, glasses and tattoos needs to learn more about how to serve customers with the right manners. The guy isnt polite enough to say Thank you, Happy New Year or welcome and always has a mean mug on his face (never smiles) ever as if hes forever offended by customers entering the shop. The rest of the staff is polite and kind, so Im pointing him out in specific. First, as soon as we entered, we were refused a table of our choice even though the restaurant was empty with only 2 tables occupied. We were told by him to sit between the 2 occupied tables for god knows what reason. When we asked if there was a separate table available, he refused. He wanted to end his shift so he came to settle the check before we were done eating at 7:50 and told us that the shop closed half an hour ago even though we were told the last seating will be 8:15-8:30 on the phone. It feels like the restaurant just wants to kick customers out to close down. Edit: I appreciate and respect that the owner taking responsibility for his team and promising to do better. But after going through your reviews for the past few years it seems to be a recurring problem for that same male waiter. I dont know why after having a full year to correct his actions, hes still making the same mistakes from 1-2 years ago. Id ask the owner to count the total number of complaints against the guy. Im sorry to say but his sloppy rude unfriendly service is dragging the whole team down.
One of the best spots for ramen right in downtown Oshawa. We ordered Orochong Ramen and Spicy Charsu Ramen both were outstanding, nicely flavored, and well-spiced. The waiter was so friendly and welcoming.
Great location! I ve been here numerous times and the staff and food are always pleasant.
The ramen bowls we got were great every time we came in but there is one individual in specific who easily affects the representation of this restaurant. Everyone else was friendly and kind so I am not complaining about everyone, except one individual in specific. The first time I came in with my partner, I asked the male server about the spice level and what do their customers find ideal in terms of the spice level; specifically, I wanted to know how people of oriental origin, especially their customers, who enjoy this food, like their spice level to be, so I can get an idea of what to expect and try it out. It is not even an offensive question. I have asked this question everywhere and usually Im easily told that majority of their customers prefer this spice level. If he did not know, he could have simply said Im not sure or sorry, I dont know the answer but maybe you can try this.... Instead, he gave me the most visibly confusing and offended facial expression, making me feel super super awkward and ruining the excitement I came in with. He has zero communication skills. The second time we came was on New Years Eve. As soon as we walked in, the same male server (bun/ponytail with glasses) was standing at the front and didnt acknowledge us. He just looked at us for a second and looked away, not caring at all. We had to get his attention. After we told him we need a table for two, he purposely pointed towards the table between two groups of people while the ENTIRE REST of the restaurant was empty and the tables were not occupied, nor were they expecting anyone. I asked him nicely if we could get another table as we didnt feel comfortable feeling isolated between groups and the space in that section already feels less. However, he sternly shook his head twice, didnt care once again and restricted us. The other server who is a female was actually nice and knows customer service. Additionally, before we came in we were told about the closing time and we easily still had time while eating, but the same rude male server came and said you have to pay now in a careless and dismissive manner. Not even a thank you, hi, sorry about that but we have to close soon, trying tapping your card again, etc. Just took the payment, walked away and ended his shift by leaving quickly. This has happened TWICE. Hence, I have two questions. 1. Why have that big of a restaurant with so many tables if you are not going to allow customers to be seated there? 2. Why have servers who do not have communication skills, want to head home early and who decide themselves that they will not allow you to sit where you want to? Besides your menu and its quality, your servers also represent your restaurant and so far, that man is doing a terrible job.
The ramen was not bad, but the broth was not as flavourful as I had expected it to be. The green tea was expensive (2.25/cup) and it was just boiled water and a tea bag. Complimentary water was just tap water The bowls were chipped and not presentable They also have 2 seating areas - the main part of the restaurant, and a smaller one off to the side. When we arrived, both areas were being used. We requested to sit in the smaller one off to the side, as the main area was very cold from the main door being opened constantly. Everyone in the main area was wearing jackets. They wouldnt let us sit in the other area, as they were closing it off for the evening, but we had finished our meals and left before anyone in the other dining area. It was not a pleasant experience, as it was -20 outside, and all of that cold air was coming in as we ate. There is very minimal parking in the area, as there seems to only be some street parking, and they are all full. There are no parking lots nearby, and you would have to get lucky with street parking or walk from a distance. We parked across the street in a parking lot that belonged to a different restaurant. All in all, I would likely not come back.
They are rude!!! I would like to add that when I ordered I was given a price for the 4 katsu Katsu. Then I called back to add 2 karage and the price for the 4 katsu Katsu was higher by $4 each. I asked why and no one knew. I was very upset that the price was more when I called back that I cancelled my order. I feel that it qas very rude not to honor your first price even if it was a mistake. I cancelled this order 5min after ordering. I guess this wasnt relayed to the kitchen because you made it. The problem is not me, its that fact that you gave me a price and tried to change it. You need to get your kitchen and front of staff on the same page. If you would have honored that price the first time you gave it this would not have happened. If the person taking the order would have told the kitchen that it was cancelled 5 min after I ordered, this would not have happened. That being said, I do recommend the food! It is very good!
So good! I ve been on the hunt for good ramen since I moved from Toronto and this is my favourite spot! Their miso ramen is amazing!
Really yummy and great portions, I always have leftovers. Just wish the broth wasn t so insanely salty!
Such an amazing find! This place is small, authentic and delicious. Staff are so kind and efficient. loved our experience. cant wait to go back!
Awesome all around.
Absolutely delicious, very tasty, perfect sizes, affordable prices and great service.
Try the Katsudon. The pork cutlet is delicious!
One of the best ramen I had. Quality. Quantity. Flavours. Options. You have it all. I am looking forward to try all the different ramen they offer Vegetarian options: They offer veg options in some .
Tantanman soup is awesome.
My favorite ramen spot in Oshawa. The food is awesome, it tastes really good and you dont have to wait too long for your food to come out. The service is extremely good, the staffs are friendly, they usually come and ask if you need anything when youre eating. Highly recommended.
Love food always good
Kenzo Ramen is a great spot in to grab a meal. Staff are polite, service is quick and food is delicious. It is one of our favourite local spots. Love ordering take out from here too. Food is always hot, and well-packaged.
Super friendly and helpful staff and delicious food! Highly recommend the Unagidon!
Very tasty ramen!
This place was amazing. Delicious food Kids loved it Definitely be back Location not so desirable as it is downtown but once inside it is great
Great food and friendly service. They forgot a few items I ordered but they quickly retrieved it when I raised the concern.
Best ramen Ive had in a while. Price is also considerably cheap. Paid 20 dollars for a bowl of ramen and fried tofu. Also, 15% off if paying cash. Staff are also really friendly
The menu has changed no longer makes sence and your staff offered zero help. Walked out didnt even bother ordering. Used to be good
Haven t even left the restaurant yet, not sure if I want to I absolutely love this place. BEST food BEST prices. This really is nirvana and you won t be disappointed. Amazing sized portions at a great price. Also best Matcha tea iced latte on the planet!
Literally so good. I want to go back asap! And very reasonably priced as well which was awesome. Wish there were more vegan/vegetarian options, but all in all, it was the perfect amount of food and very well made
This establishment deserves all the acolades theyve recieved. Good work!!
Had been here before in the past but went again during a power outage in my part of town and as the last few times Ive been the food was fantastic, staff friendly and overall a great place to get a good hearty meal in downtown Oshawa. Definitely recommend.
Love this cozy place! Great options and very good ramen!
Pretty amazing Ramen place. Definitely will visit again
Some of the best ramen I have ever had, can t recommend this place enough. Daniel was also the best server/waiter, super nice and friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were well informed about the dishes and also made sure we had a good time. He definitely was a big reason our experience was so enjoyable, thanks Daniel!
If I could give them six stars, Id do it. Best ramen ever.
Service is awesome. My son s favourite restaurant. Every customer leaves happy. Kid-friendliness: My special needs seven year old is treated so kindly. Love it there
One of the best, if not THE best ramen spots in Durham. Growing up in Toronto and Scarborough we would always venture out for ramen to the city or to Markham. A neighbour suggested this place and we had low expectations...but were completely blown away by the quality and portions. Highly, highly recommend this spot especially if youre looking for quality ramen in Durham. Parking is a little tricky, they have no parking lot but there is paid street parking for cheap ($1.25 per hour).
Great soup and consistent great quality as always! Highly recommend the Netsu soup, level 2 if youre feeling spicy!
Best Ramen in Durham region. There s no competition to this place. Great price and the portion is a bit bigger than some of the ramen places I ve been to in Toronto. You get further discount with cash payment. Personally love the black garlic tonkasu. Quality/taste: 8.5/10 Quantity: 8/10 Price: $$
Tasty ramen spot. Went with a friend. Server did an excellent job explaining the menu, making recommendations. I thought the prices were good and the food was excellent. Good options for degree of spice, from none to high. I had mild, but would consider more spicy under the right circumstances.
Love the ramen and it s really good deal for its quality and size! Definitely recommended when you re nearby Oshawa
A touch expensive, but probably worth it.
So good. Went on a rainy day so it was somehow more satisfying. Big portions, lots of flavour.. but taking a star off for having no beer! Weird!!!!
Ordered the King Shoyu ramen. Very satisfying and great value. Its a great spot for ramen in Oshawa. Service was
The service and food was amazing. Our server ( I don t remember his name) went through the menu with us and was an absolute gentleman. Probably the best Tonkotsu broth I ever had. Would love to visit again.
Stopped here to meet a friend and grab some ramen. The food was really good. The atmosphere was nice, not loud a great place to have a conversation and catch up
Have ordered the Orochong at least 25-30 times from the Oshawa location and it has never disappointed. Always enough for two meals. Usually when I choose veggie over a meat option (same price) I get more veggies. Tonight, hardly any. A sad little meal and barely warm despite quick Uber delivery. Guessing it s better to eat in or order in person. Very disappointing.
The food and service was amazing, however the place was rather small and seating wasnt all that comfortable. However the ramen was the best in town. I dont think I have tried anything better.
THE BSET JAPANESE RESTAURANT I ve ever been outside Japan. Real Japanese cooks here and even the server guy was really nice and respectful, and of course the food was delicious! I can highly recommend this place to anyone.
Real good Japanese noodles in Whitby.
Top tier ramen
They have Naruto menu for fans Kid-friendliness: Staff had excellent anime taste Food : 5/5 |
This place is so good and their service is amazing too
The ramen was so tasty and happy they had a bunch of vegetarian options. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Wish the atmosphere was a little nicer but it s good enough. Will definitely be back soon and recommend checking it out!
The best Ramen Place I ve been at
Great shop with tasty food and friendly staff!
The first time I tried ramen and I loved it
Got the Nagasaki Champon! A really good amount of seafood and noodles for a great price! Recommend for ramen cravings
It was a great experience. Vegetarian options: There are few veg options , try it out. Food : 4/5 |
Special mention to the staff, they were super friendly and engaging. The food was delicious, would definitely recommend for a chill evening.
Great food experience. My son and his friend both enjoyed their ramen and matcha smoothie. Good service and family friendly atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: All of the Ramen is very good and decently sized
Best Ramen in the world
Food was yummy! Lots of choices for different palates and spice preferences. 4 different options ordered and each was vastly different from one another. Our server Daniel was extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu, helpful and funny. The last time we experience this level of service was at a fine dining establishment.
Very authentic food, excellent and fast service. Id recommend to anyone looking for a proper ramen shop.
Great ramen place. There were lots of options for many different dietary restrictions (vegetarian, eggs only, no red meat). The portion sizes are quite large for the $16 bowls ( I ate mine over 2 meals). The server we had was very kind and quick. The best part is a 15% cash discount!! Would come back here.
Amazing food and service!
Weve been there a few times and the Ramen is good. They also have other options for appetizers etc Service is not great though. We spent around $35 for 2 meals and a drink Food : 4/5
Really great! Staff was super knowledgeable when I wasnt sure what I wanted to order and it was delicious. Will be back!
Wonderful as always. Kenzo Ramen has been the best spot in Oshawa to get ramen for years now, one of my favourites. I had miso soup, a rice ball and tonkotsu ramen, which is one of their most popular items for a reason.
Best place in town to have a fresh, delicious, warm and full of flavour Ramen! I just loved it! The portions are huge and the attention is amazing!
Really good ramen. It comes out fast and hot. Youre gonna love it. A bigger menu now and the new items are so good
Japanese? Yes please! Tasty, tasty, tasty and affordable. The soups are outstanding. The Tan Tan Man is my go to. Also like the gyoza and karage chicken.
Kenzo Ramen in Durham impressed me with its delicious, piping hot soup base and a decent noodle texture. Their menu offers a variety of options, and I was delighted by the generous servings in the Tonkatsu King, which included three eggs and four pork slices. Among the few ramen spots in Durham, Kenzo Ramen stands out as one of the best choices.
I had the Tonkatsu Shoyu Ramen and it elwas delicious.. Loved it.. Finished the whole thing without talking to the others on my table, i was so engrossed with it. Pretty fast service. Kid-friendliness: Place is big and has high chairs for toddlers
Annoyingly they leave the door open for air flow but had flies land on my arm or swarm my food. Ramen broth is great but the noodles are disappearing
Very delicious Japanese dishes! An amazing find in the heart of oshawa. Definitely a must try. Their portions are large! Can be shared!
Very good food and friendly staff. Expensive.
really friendly staff. excellent customer service. waiter was attentive and answered all our questions about the menu. food was delicious and presented beautifully. i ordered the really spicy ramen and asked for mild. it was still very spicy, but yet very delicious. this place is a hidden gem.
Kenzo Ramen is a Toronto based chain, but theres nothing predictable about their food. Flavourful, fresh and adventurous are the three adjectives Id use to describe their dishes. If youre ordering tableside you wont go wrong ordering the Yakisoba on a sizzling cast iron platter. The staff are warm and the food is hot -- okay, can be ordered anywhere from mild to spicy. One of Oshawas better bets for our of towners with a sophisticated palate.
Exceptional service and delectable dishes make this restaurant a must-visit gem!
Amazing Roman the best Roman I ever had amazing service, The place was clean bathroom amazing recommend going to this place.
Authentic ramen with awesome flavours. Delicious till the last slurp - highly recommend spicy ramen to clear out the sinuses :) Finally good ramen k. Durham region!
We were in town and googled a place to eat. And we were surprised to see a Kenzo in the area. We have been to multiple Kenzo locations before, and must say that their broths are fairly consistenly delicious, rich and flavourful. This location offers a fair amount of seating and has ample of space compared to other locations which are usually cramped. We had one small mishap with one server who was new, but Daniel came and resolved it very quickly. He also gave us great recommendations and was very knowledgeable of the menu. Overall the customer service in this location is excellent especially Daniel. But all the staff were all professional, warm and personable which creates an inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be back when in town again! Vegetarian options: There was a good selection of vegeterian dishes in tje menue
This place used to be super friendly and chill and the food has always been phenomenal, but when i went in there recently the staff were super cold and unprofessional. For example, our server spilled a drink on our table, which he 100% noticed and pointed out, and we proceeded to wait literally 15 minutes for a napkin, which WE had to ask for ourselves (there was none at our table). The woman that greeted us and the man who checked us out after eating both had an attitude with us for literally no reason. I understand the restaurant gets busy and its kind of cramped but you cant take it out on paying customers. The atmosphere here was way better a few years ago, idk what happened. Foods great though.
The server was out of this world excellent! Completely made my sisters birthday The ramen was so delicious and the ambience of the place was great!
A really cozy place with warm delicious ramen. Very impressed with the staff, food and the portion size
Been here many time, with each visit then prices are higher by a large percentage (60% over a year ago!). The wait staff now upsell at every turn and twice bow they have given and charge me for the King size without asking after I ordered regular. I cant condone this type of service, its not honest and beyond annoying. $60 for noodles for two people is ridiculous.
Been going here for years, the food is always delicious and the service is excellent. Highly recommend
Wonderful experience. Food was prompt to come out. Very hot and delicious. The staff was attentive and answered any questions that we had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality ramen restaurant in Durham.
We had a great time here, my daughter loved it and loved the food. She already wants to go back. The atmosphere was good vibes and they were very friendly and accommodating to my daughter. Kid-friendliness: They were super kind to my daughter, she loves every minute of it.
Ordered the spicy King Ramen- fantastic. Great quick service and food came super fast. Accurately depicted spice level. Good fairly priced. Will return!
All kinds of ramen are so delicious!!!
great food, great price. bring cash for a discount
Excellent Ramen!
First time at Kenzo Ramen and it didnt disappoint! Flavours were great and service was on point! I was craving another bowl the next day. We will be back!
Amazing ramen place in oshawa. Always consistent with their food. Price are OKAY. Parking can be hard to find.
Good food, good portions for the price. Staff was attentive and nice. Bathroom was clean. Overall, it was a good experience that can be enjoyed with friends or alone
We went there couple of days ago and the service was horrible. Food was decent but the server had zero knowledge on customer service. Also the placed a table right at the entrance which caused trouble for both the guests and the lady who was sitting there. Definitely not going to there a second time Parking: Not have enough parking and paid on weekdays
Everything we ordered was great, perfectly hot the spot on a cold night. The ramen broths were tasty and the noodle serving quite filling. Would come back again
Food was bussin on gawd
