I ve been to Baxters multiple times and they always have amazing food and service. I have celiac and they have many GF options. The servers always help with questions regarding their food. Today we had David as our server and he was fantastic.

I love coming here. They have yummy food and the service is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and the wait is next to nil when it comes to ordering. The environment is very relaxing and pretty. I wish they had more vegan options, however, I ll still keep coming back for their delicious power bowl and outstanding service. Thank you guys !

The nurse practitioners celebrated a year of hard work at Baxters Landing Oshawa and had a fantastic time! Thanks to Chris for helping us set it up, well organized and everything was ready when we arrived. Thanks to David and team for the great service! We hope to return soon!

Male servers are very sensitive. I just asked to have something warmed up, and they were so confused. Please don t work in service if your confused what service is?

So disappointed with my experience today. I love all the landings. My partner has never been, so I took him out tonight. 20 minutes after we ordered our drinks, the server comes back and lets us know the bartender hasnt started making them yet. We then watched a party of people who came after us, receive the exact drinks we ordered, before we got ours. 30 mins after arriving, still no drinks so we left. So disappointing.

Celebrated my brother-in-laws engagement here. I was not impressed. The strip loin steak was chewy amd not good quality, but cooked as requested. The Risotto was absolutely horrible, it was super salty and had no flavour. Im suprised that the cook sent it out tasting like that. Absolutely no flavour just salt and rice...disgusting. The parm frites were good; crispy and nicely seasoned with parmesan, pepper and salt. The sticky toffee pudding was super dry and super disappointing. The charcuterie board was great. The Ceasars were good. The service was fantastic. We were served by David. He was very knowledgeable of the menu, he was professional, friendly and attentive. I wont be back. Pricey for what we got.

Whether that be dietary, or environmental this professional establishment should surely be on your list whether your local or passing through. Most praise to Zivian who does an excellent job organizing the front of house also. It s important we use this platform to transparently report our experience and not lack thereof.

As a bartender, this was the worst service I ve had in a long time. It was my birthday dinner and we didn t receive service at all for a good 15 minutes despite having a reservation. Very disappointed.

Worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. We were celebrating a birthday but The waiter was rude, and had a big attitude, made the night not enjoyable. He Did not check on my table once to see how our food was, took forever to get us drinks and took the food over an hour to come out. I asked three times for a glass of water, I had to go up to bar to get one. Very disappointed in the service of this place.

David, served dinner in the most gracious way, by explaining the option for a gluten free bun with the fried chicken sandwich. He was friendly and attentive. I also watched him with other customers and feel that he did an amazing job. My only concern was that water from the tap didnt taste very good. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options were offered at no extra cost.

Upgrading to 5 . Stopped for a quick bite after the shops. Ordered a Caesar (The drink!) and the Calamari appetizer. Both were perfect! Pics dont lie. Nice atmosphere, great burger & salad combo. Friendly service.

We went to dine in just now here and waited at the front desk for a long time and no one attended us! It was not even busy this time and no one was even looking towards the front desk area! Will never recommend to our friends and families and will never come here again.

Been there twice, both times not enough food. My friend had to order an appetizer after she finished her main! Still hungry. Most of the customer service was decent. Food flavour was good but very small portion of meat. Lots of bread and rice. Doubtful well go back. Unfortunate because its large spacious and convenient location

We have been to Baxters landing before, over a year ago, and it seems our expectations for the return were not exactly met. The food was alright, our waiter was great, but we found the remainder of the team were tense, sad, juat not very personable. There seemed to be some confusion surrounding the reservation resulting in a shuffle. It also took a while to receive the food and some drinks. The interior is a bit on the darker side, I think in part due to low lighting. Overall the experience was a little meh, nothing special really, which is a shame as in the past there was more positive energy and better service.

Chris S was my greeter and server today, and he was an excellent ambassador. Great service and great food!

Had a really lovely Tomato Bisque this afternoon. Very tasty!! I was in a meeting however so I had to let it get a little cool. David went above and beyond ensuring I was happy, he s a super conscientious server and very accommodating. Thank you so much David, you were fabulous!!

Baxters Landing was a restaurant that my wife and I enjoyed going to. The last 2 times that we have gone for dinner here the food was okay. I ordered nachos 2 visits ago and they were cold and many of the nacho chips were baked onto the paper lining, my wife enjoyed her meal. Last night we tried our luck again - I ordered the Landing Carbonara and a side Caesar salad and my wife ordered the nachos. We waited a very long time for the food which was alarming because the restaurant was not very busy. They brought the nachos and my side Caesar salad at the same time and the Landing Carbonara came about 30 seconds later. I think that when the Wait Staff brings pasta to a table the first thing that they should ask if it is not already on the pasta is Do you want parmesan cheese with that? I had to flag our Wait Staff to get some parmesan cheese which was about 10 minutes after the pasta was delivered. When our Wait Staff asked how our meal was when she delivered the bill, my wife mentioned that 60% of the chips were stuck to the paper and our Wait Staffs response was Good. which indicates that either she was not listening or really did not care. Did something happen at this location? Change of ownership? Chef change? I mentioned to my wife last night that I would love to be one of those food critics hired by the restaurant to evaluate the customers experience. We spoke last night that we go out for dinner 2-3 times per week and we do not value the experience as someone else whose money may be tighter but they would go out for a special experience. Based upon our last two times at Baxters Landing we feel that we just filled our stomachs and the experience was not that good. Maybe in a couple of years we will try this location again.

David was a phenomenal server. He anticipated all of our needs and gave superb service. He kept checking in on us and was friendly.

This was our second visit to Baxters Landing and once again, we had a great time! Our server was Chris and he recommended a great IPA pairing for the risotto thats now joined our list of favorites. Service was excellent and attentive and its the perfect place to stop for lunch when youre at the mall (or even otherwise). Weve tried a few things here and highly recommend the risotto and the Moroccan chicken. Looking forward to coming back!

Solid 3. Service and atmosphere were inviting and enjoyable. But the food was pretty mediocre. We had, -garlic parm fries were pretty limp. Like they were from an old batch or left out just a tad bit too long. But the seasoning was good -margarita pizza was alright. Maybe slightly bland -pistachio gnocchi, was alright. Felt like it was missing something. Maybe more sundried tomato or stronger pistachio flavour -shrimp add on, which was pretty dull. Seemed like they just plucked a few shrimp off a grocery store cocktail shrimp ring and added lemon Wouldn t say it was terrible or bad per say, but see no appeal in ever coming back

I recently had lunch at Baxters Landing at two different occasions, and brought friends I wanted to introduce to the restaurant. Both time we had Elisa as our server and she was absolutely phenomenal. She went above and beyond for us, and even offered us a complimentary dessert. She was friendly, attentive and such a joy. I always recommend Baxters Landing and I m never disappointed with the service.

What an awesome atmosphere, even with being on the outside of the Oshawa Centre. All the staff are courteous & attentive. We were fortunate enough to have Meghan as our server that evening. She was one of the best servers I ve had in a long time, She puts in 110% as very patient has Knowledge of all of the product. Well, done, Landing, Megan, additional staff and management !

Hi there I just wanted to let everyone know how wonderful my experience with this restaurant was, well it was amazing, I called them to book reservations for my wedding dinner. They were so friendly when I call them to make reservations for my dinner. What do I really wanted to mention was the hospitality and the quality of the restaurant when we got there when we got there they had the table decorated with beautiful flowers real flowers everything was related perfectly and beautiful. Me and my wife were so impressed and as well as our guest with how it looked. But thats not all once we were there enjoying our food and drinks they delivered us with a free toast of champagne for her wedding and they continue to bring us more gifts free of charge they give us a dozen or more roses for my wife. They all have given us a beautiful wedding card with all their names in signature assigned to it. All I can say we are without words with the quality and service and the friendly hospitality of this restaurant and we would truly truly love to give a recommendation for this restaurant to anyone for any event or anytime thank you very much for your quality and expertise Baxters landing... We decided to try this restaurant based on the good reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didnt live up to the hype. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive, and when it finally did, it was just okay. My fish was overly greasy, and my husbands chicken burger was disappointingly bland. I ordered a glass of wine, but it tasted off. When I requested a fresh glass, I was told that all the wine is fresh and was advised to order a different, higher-quality brand instead. Overall, everything was just okay, but given the experience, we wont be coming back.

Wasnt sure what to expect after spending a rare night in the east end. Lived up to expectations, I guess Im more of a Dennys/Diner guy, but the ambiance and music is what did it for me... It was quite the pleasant surprise... Shout out to the musician who was there, Eddy, it was the perfect way to start the Sunday... Loved the vibes all around... Definately will be coming back.

Turkey Burger its always tasty and consistent

The 3 sets of booths in the bar area along the back wall are not comfortable. The benches are angled slightly, probably thru tons of use, and I kept sliding forward. I asked to change seats and things were great after that. The bartender was amazing. Great service. Very delicious cocktails. We got a margarita and a bulletproof lemonade. The atmosphere is nice. My Landing Carbonara was super meh. Wife got the mushroom risotto and said it was delicious. We shared arancini rice balls which were prepared very well but a tad bland. We got a free dessert as we were celebrating our anniversary, which was extremely appreciated. The sticky toffee pudding was delish.

Tonight I met a friend for a very impromptu dinner we sat on the patio as I had my pup with me. The staff were amazing and even provided us with a dog bowl of water. If you have a well behaved pup and are looking for a great patio dining experience I highly recommend Baxter s Landing. They even offer a doggie menu.

What a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the service also our server was David and he was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed and always with a smile. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Oh yes and try the orange scones they are to die for.

Food was great. Wait wasnt too long but I wish it was a little faster. Not the most egregious sports bar/restaurant experience in terms of volume of the TVs Dietary restrictions: Had the gluten free bun option. Was very good barely distinguishable from a glutinous bun

We went for lunch on July 1st, and all four of us walked away very happy with our meals. My parents had salads, and they were very pleased. My brother had a burger and loved the gluten-free bun. I had the pistachio gnocchi, and it was to die for! Two of us had the blueberry no-jito mocktails, and they were lovely. The only downside is that service was slow. I dont know if they were understaffed due to the holiday, but the restaurant didnt feel like it was busy enough for drinks to come out as slowly as they did. But we were all still talking about how great the food was by the end of the day, so I would still highly recommend Baxters Landing, especially their gluten-free options. Dietary restrictions: My brother is gluten sensitive and a picky eater, but he said the GF burger bun was excellent, which is high praise coming from him.

Chris S served us wonderful we were just chatting and we re talking about beers on a hot summer day and we haven t tried one called the pineapple ninja and the offer us two free examples. It was very thoughtful and kind of him.

If you are visiting Baxters Landing for first time, be prepared for smaller portion sizes. When compared to the price point of dishes, portion size is a bit disappointing. Despite this, the atmosphere and customer service make it a worthwhile experience.

First time at this restaurant. Chris S was a great server. Very welcoming and informative on the menu. The food was delicious and Chris went the extra mile to make sure all was on point with food & beverage!

Chris S , was a great help today, made sure I didn t get any mushrooms on my burger and was patient with our crazy kids! Also the lady at the desk was very kind!

David was an amazing server very helpful and knowledgeable about everything. We had the Brussel sprouts they were to die for. As well as the bacon jam cheese burger. So good. I need that jam on everything. We will definitely be coming back again

Great spot for gluten free options. They have a separate fryer which avoids cross contamination. Everything was made fresh and was served hot and tasted great! Our server, David, took great care of my friends and I as well as provided excellent suggestions!

We happened to be travelling back from Toronto to Ottawa on July 14th, a Sunday, and decided to skip the 401 construction and traffic and headed in to Oshawa. Having not had breakfast we happened upon this nice restaurant so we decided to stop in and have brunch as it had just opened at 11:00 a.m. We went inside and were immediately greeted by an outgoing, jovial and friendly host/manager who then seated us out on the patio as per our request. Then our server Dave came and after a few minutes ordered breakfast/brunch. We ordered the salmon-poached egg Benedict and Maple bacon Benedict both being quite delicious! The service from Dave was great, above and beyond! Stellar! He was attentive, friendly, polite, and professional. He even offered me a grapefruit somosa after making an extra one in error, gratis, which I kindly accepted. All in all a very pleasant, enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful lunch on the patio today. the food was great (fish tacos, chicken naan sandwich and cheese pizza for our daughter). it was such a sunny, hot day, that the manager brought us sunscreen to use. Chris was our server and he was pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable. We look forward to our next visit.

We were seated on the patio as requested. The amount of garbage and pieces of food , utensils and coasters under our table was disgusting. We both ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl and it was fine. We paid the bill and then headed to the washroom. We were very thankful we went after the meal and not before or we would not have been able to eat. The odour of stale urine was so overwhelming that we held our breath and raced out. Overall not a pleasant experience.

we were here yesterday for lunch and the food and service was good and fast. the debit machines were down but dave our server didn t make a big deal out of it and offered several ways to pay our bill while still getting back to work. much appreciated. bulletproof lemonade was really good and the power bowl too.

My husband and I came here yesterday, Dave L. was our server . He was polite and professional and funny too! The smoked chicken soup was very authentic. Will return.

First time experiencing Baxters Landing. Enjoyed a great family outing and our server David did a great job and offered just the right level of attentiveness and engagement with us. Menu offering had lots of appealing choices and did not disappoint. I ll be back again.

Visited for a graduation celebration and waited over an hour for our meal ended up leaving. Horrible service. Never again

Our family had a super chill evening on the patio with Chris. S as our server. Chris was awesome, very cheerful and his positive attitude was very much appreciated on a Monday after work. Food was top notch, our son devoured all the pasta plus tye veggie sticks as an appetizer before the meal. Definately recommended, and definately reccomend Chris. S for a great dining experience.
