First time in. Food was great. Price was more than reasonable. And I had the good fortune to be there when the owner was there and man she runs hard and is always smiling. Great vibe. Will not be last time.

My husband and I loved this place. It has home cooked meals and everyone is super nice. The burger was amazing and huge, and the chicken club sandwich was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend coming here for a good meal.

My son and I visited this diner after his swimming lessons. He had the cowboy burger with fries. it has onion rings and fresh white onions in it*. He said it was comparable to Harveys. I ordered the small eggs Benedict done soft with sauce on the side. Small has 2 poached eggs, Canadian bacon, served in an english muffin. Unfortunately the sauce was lathered on it and the waitress noticed once she brought it to me. She offered to have it remade but I declined as I didnt want food to go to waste. When I cut into the eggs they were both cooked to medium, a little disappointed but again continued eating. Hollandaise sauce is sometimes strong but this was mild so that was nice. The eggs had a slight metallic taste which was distracting to the meal. My potato wedges were spot on, coffee was hot. My son wants to return, and when or if we do, Ill stay away from the poached eggs. I caught a glance of part of the neighbouring table and I need to say I was highly impressed by the thick slices of (what looked like beefsteak) tomatoes

Cozy small familial restaurant. My piece of Cesar wrap was too big for me to finish even for how tasty it was. And for the price, I really didnt expect it to be that large. I would come back for sure if only I didnt live 4 hours away.

Family of 6 stopped in for breakfast. Location is not far off 401 and worth the exit! Server was the only person in front and handled the entire dining area with ease. Seems like a lot of the customers are regulars & are known by name. Very hearty breakfast with large portions. We passed through while visiting from the states so sadly, we won t be back. Recommend A+ Vegetarian options: Mushroom omelette was big and yummy. Veggie omelette is also offered. We do not eat meat and had plenty of menu options. Parking: Plaza location with plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: No kids menu on hand but server informed us of smaller kid options from regular menu.

During a trip with my family to Toronto, I stumbled on this hidden gem along the 401, I was very pleased with the service. It is conveniently located, the food is reasonably priced, and the service was awesome. If you are in town or driving through, please stop by for some great food. Next time I m in town I will definitely stop in. My family liked the fact that it feels like we were eating at home.

One of the best breakfasts I ve had in a long time. The lady was super friendly and it was pretty quick for take out. I also like how they don t use styrofoam containers either. Price was really reasonable as well, will definitely be returning. Hidden gem

Stopped by on the way to Ottawa. The food was delicious and homemade. We loved the roast beef sandwich and pancakes. Very nice service and she gave the kids a popsicle when we left. Would definitely return if we are in the area!

I wish that I started coming here years ago, it s only a short walk from my house. The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly and, the service is top notch. Prices are fair, portions are decent and the food is great. They have a really good Eggs Benedict, the sauce is amazing! I ll definitely be coming here more often.

It was our first times at Bridgette s and we were not disappointed! The restaurant is cozy and very clean. The bacon was not over salty and the pea meal was cooked to perfection - most places I go, it s over-cooked. My husband enjoyed the pancakes. They were light and fluffy.The price is very reasonable and Bridgette is a delight! We will definitely be back!

Bridgetts has the best value for your money when it comes to food. The food is very tasty with generous portions and a reasonable price to match. I am a truck driver and Bridgetts is one of the best restaurants in Canada that I have found and I make it a point to stop in when I am in the area. The service is excellent and Melissa and Bridgett will always greet you with a smile

We needed a last minute spot to feed a group of 20 for our hockey team. I didnt think wed get in anywhere but Bridgette was happy to have us. She put tables together, called in extra staff and made everyone feel welcome. Great service. Great good. They didnt mess up a single order and she was even fantastic with all the kids. I couldnt give this place more praise.

My wife and I were visiting Oshawa for a friends 25 wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott and need a place to eat the next day. It was exactly what we needed. Big portions great price wonderful staff. Love supporting family business. If you are visiting Oshawa and need a good place to eat a good breakfast/diner type food that is just good period look no further. If you are a local you already know this place is a good place and are already going there.

With easy parking easy access this very simple laid out restaurant offers great breakfaces at a great price. The staff was great it was quite comfortable inside. For breakfast its everything you want my wife found the poached eggs to be perfect. I found their French toast to be dead on perfect. What I found was every portion of my food was equally and properly cooked at the right temperature when served to me. Lots of room at this place properly laid out. Parking: Lots of choice for parking and youre not paying for it.

This is a nice little family run restaurant that is quite and quaint place. Not very busy both times I was there but the waitress Melissa... was very friendly and professional and had a great persona about her. Definitely service with a smile and she does it all herself. The food was really good both times I was there. I went for breakfast both times and had Eggs Benedict and a Mediterranean Omelet. I definitely will go back again and again for a quick good all around breakfast.

This place is in a very normal mini-plaza, and the restaurant will not cause you to do back flips HOWEVER, this is the perfect example of a GREAT BREAKFAST!!! Excellent coffee, incredible home fries, and the service is so good! Friendly faces, lots of coffee top ups - when you are in Oshawa this is the GO TO PLACE!!

So, so good. The home potatoes were crispy and well seasoned, omelette was perfectly made, crispy bacon, and fluffy pancakes. Not to mention the waitress was so kind!

We had a beautiful breakfast here this morning. The owner is delightful and the restaurant, while a cozy size, has a large outdoor covered patio as well. Everything is spotless and safe and prices were reasonable. Going back Sunday for eggs benedict (which come in 2 or 3 egg sizes)!

Me and my partner came here yesterday. The food was good but the lady was very disrespectful. I was in line to use the washroom and she came in from behind and literally shouted YOU NEED A KEY TO ENTER AND PAYING CUSTOMERS ONLY. Not realizing that had already placed an order. Our waitress (who was amazing!) came to my rescue and shared that I was sitting in the patio. The lady was embarrassed and just handed me the key. When I came out, she apologized and said that there are a lot of weird people who come in just to use the washroom. I didnt want to escalate. We just finished our breakfast and went away. Ill never come here again and will advise everyone to stay away. Rainbow Family Restaurant is the best!!

Nearly all their meals come with coleslaw, so we go in for chicken fingers with fries and coleslaw, they dont have coleslaw left (its only 11:45 am) PEOPLE THERE IS A NO FRILLS 200YDS AWAY??? go buy some. What are you going to do for rest of day. Jip your customers by giving tomatoe slices instead......we will never go back.........
