Its a great place for patties in Oshawa. Not gonna lie its not a place for certain people. The service is amazing and the place has that real Jamaican vibe to it.

Good patties here. Being spoiled working toronto for the past 25 years Ive had some of the best patties that canada has to offer. City patties rivals those. The gentleman behind the counter was polite and to the point. My patties were hot and the price is on the average.

Patties are always delicious. When you go in either a good movie is on or music is playing in the background.

The food here is great - they serve lots of food, not just patties, just call ahead. They have different flavours, best ones are callloo and ackee and the chicken patty. They have car stuff, drinks, hats etc. Kurfuu brand is fire

This place serves the most perfect Jamaican Pattys anywhere in Durham region. They are hot they are fresh you cannot get any better. My go to place to grab a quick snack everytime I am at Oshawa, 5 min walk from the Eastbound King/Simcoe bus stop. Honestly, when I come to Oshawa I make it a point to visit them and eat rather savor their patties. Always fresh and hot and amazingly tasty.The hosts are always warm and welcoming. Last time they gave me a discount just cos I was little bit short of cash. They even gave me a juice bottle for free. Thank you City Patties, your one gesture has got you one permanent customer.

Heard the hype on instagram and travelled all the way from Hamilton to try out these Pattie s. ( Ackee patty in particular) Pattie s were hot and tasty fresh to order. They also have beef and chicken Pattie s, but those veggie Pattie s are to die for. You can have it with or without coco bread. The service was fast & friendly. I would definitely drive back and get a whole box next time. 5/5. Would highly recommend.

The patty was dry and bland. The man who served us was rude and acted as if he is doing us a big favour by him serving us. The place attracts drug dealers and hoodlums. There is always a gang of 5 dealers hanging outside. Shut this place down

First of all not even from Randys do I eat patty. Canada hasnt been able to provide me with authentic patties outside of Allens bakery since I was about 12. City patties is the first place I have been able to enjoy an authentic Jamaican patty in over a decade, I wish Id shaken off the fear and tried them out sooner. Only spot in the east kicking it real raw n authentic. I can all get sea moss aswell as other amazingly fresh produce. Anything I need I can typically find here all face masks and rolling papers. Absolutely love this spot with I could give yall 10 stars

Have been looking for a good patty place since growing up in Scarborough waaayy back. Saw this ave while googling. Had some really good reviews so I thought worth a try. I was no disappointed, from the guy behind the counter, to the freshness and taste I will definitely go back.. real soon! And the coco bread was also so fresh, soft, sweet just like I remember! Got one for my friend who thought it was weird to have a party inside a bun. But I think Ive hooked her on them now too! Thank you so much for the amazing patties and coco bread!

Worst patties Ive ever had by far. Filling tasted ok but there was not nearly enough. The patty itself was so uncooked it was almost still raw. Really disappointing, threw most of it out. Got a dozen amazing patties in scarborough for the same price as well...

Came in and ordered a dozen patties to go and picked up 2 hot patties in coco bread. Did not disappoint. Lady behind the counter was nice, definitely recommend

Interesting experience. A lot of cool Knick knacks. A one stop pop shop. Way better than pizza. Pattie s were surprisingly promising. It s about the Pattie s! Will be back.

This is the spot where no one goes hungry, just dont take it for a habit. They look out for the Homeless and more. Vegetarian options: Vege pattie or vege meal Parking: Parking to the right of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant have kids so its obvious that they are kid-friendly.

I went to pick up Patties for the team today. I cant say enough great things about this restaurant. The patties are amazing, but best of all was meeting the owner. We chatted and learned a little bit about each other. I cant wait to partner with this business to give back to our community. Please support local. Feed your belly you will not be disappointed. They use the best cocoa bread in the business to pair up with their patties.

Went into there this evening and not one person was wearing a mask , if this is how they chose to respect the issue we have going on says a lot about character and how they follow proper health protocol. Was a regular till now sad state.

Great little place and very friendly staff, I went there thinking they had a full menu but the girl said just patties and a lunch special, not sure if its daily but I believe they rotate what the special is. Anyway they run out of food quick so all I could get was beef or chicken patties but I was not disappointed $20 for 8 patties but they are high quality so I didnt mind the price. I will repeat for sure, my only disappointment is the lack of a menu because if the patties and lunch specials sell out like that they are doing something right in the kitchen.

Hidden across from Memorial park is the crown jewel of beef/chicken patties. Delicious does not begin to describe the taste of their flaky pastry patties. Great place to pick up something tasty and enjoy it at the beautiful park across the street... PSSST dont just buy one... You love them so much you will eat three or four at the same sitting.... Today, I went to City Patties for the first time. I was very excited to find a patty place with such variety. Outside the store, I stopped to read the posted menu. The menu stated they had vegan options. Without further ado I went inside and ordered a calaloo Patty (A vegetable like spinach). After paying $3.25, I mentioned the discrepancy in price advertised outside for $2.50? He proceeded to tell me the price changed, then showed me the price list behind the cashier inside. I then realized on the updated menu ackee was also a choice. So I requested a ackee patty as well. I was feeling pretty good until he mentioned after purchasing, the patties had Saltfish in them. I told him Im vegan and I do not eat fish. The man got angry and ignorant Yelled at me...and basically told me to get out of his store. I was astonished! We went back and forth a few times about his loud tone and lack of customer relations skills. He became extremely defensive; started talking about his six children and what not. When I asked for a refund...He lost it! He threw twenty dollars on the counter towards me .... At this point, I said, Im not trying to rob you, I just want my money back. I then left feeling disappointed and disrespected. I had to write this review To let this business owner know: This is not the way to conduct business. Do not false advertising whatsoever it is you are selling; via product or pricing. And last, have respect for your clients Theyre the ones that keep your business running. Note to self...I will never return to City Patties! Disrespectfuless is all I received
